The chips and salsa served with refried beans and cheese probably didn't help, but they're fresh and tasty so I may have eaten too much before being served my meal :) The service here is always excellent, and the food is authentic and delicious. They have a very large menu so you're sure to find something you'll like, and you will want to return to try something else.

The staff was incredibly friendly and tentative. It's rare that I ask for a spicy meal that actually delivers and they nailed it! Their drinks were delicious and not watered down. I will definitely be coming back. Also, I'm quite a good cook so being impressed as a restaurant is huge for me.

Javi’s has been in Hilmar for 20 plus years. I moved away 19 years ago and was back in town for a visit with my dad so we decided to go out to dinner. The best compliment I can give a restaurant is not just that the service and food are good but most importantly that the experience is consistent. After 20 years I can say it was just as good as it was 20 years ago when I lived in Hilmar.

This is an Old establishment, but the waitresses that was of service was Very Friendly and always Checked to see if there was anything of need.. The Food then again was like any other Mexican restaurant depending on what you order.🤔 My advice, that your time ordering, just watch what other people have ordered and whatever smells and looks 😋the best..That is what to order. 😁👌

Took my wife and 2 daughters here to try Javis in Hilmar and I have to say that it was a good experience. The food had good flavor with good portions and our waitress was nice. Service was a bit slow but we didn't mind that because after all it was worth the wait.

Last time the food portions were very small and overpriced. Nice atmosphere in the bar area and waitresses were very nice. Five people in our group and all our food came out plate by plate. I was last one served about 10-15 mins after first plate came out. Not very pleasant waiting that long.

Just had dinner here my husband and I really liked their food . The service is excellent. But today I was very disappointed. We called in to see if there was a waiting list do too covid we were told no. They had a few tables in, out of 20 tables they had 4 closed. Then 15 more customers should up no one had masks and they were waiting for a table just standing around where the other customers were eating. No one that works there said a single thing. Yes I felt that the manager or the owner didn't care for our safety. Sorry to say not going back

The disrespect given when being called a name in which I clearly told them My name and corrected the staff was completely unacceptable and disrespectful! this place is to expensive for the food they serve. the salsa is not good you can smell and taste its from a can and the mole I ordered way to spicy for a mole. the chicken inside the mole enchiladas way too dry.... and they don't make the chips in house either. imo the place is not worth it.
