I really enjoy this place. I thought the food was quite flavorful contrary to some other reviews. Yes, it could use some more spicyness to it, but I would consider this white people mexican food. Which is typical for the midwest. None the less, the food was delicious, and our custom order was exactly how we wanted it. We were a little concerned as the waiter never even wrote it down, but he did get everything right. The waiter was very quiet, but pleasant. The atmosphere is pleasing with lots of decor to enjoy. We make it a point to stop here everytime we pass through Hot Springs, and will continue to do so in the future.
The very best Mexican food in Arkansas and Oklahoma. I've tried most Mexican Restaurants in this region, and this one gets my vote. I plan to return to this area in the spring, and plan to try other foods on Salsa's menu.
Forgot to take pictures... But this place was great. I ordered the Pollo Loco Tapatillo, it came out in like 2 minutes! Everything was hot and fresh, tasted delicious. Most importantly none of the food looked like it had sat under a heat lamp for an hour before it was delivered to my table like some other restaurants in the area. I'm from out of town and travel for work, I will be eating here again and highly recommend this restaurant.
Ranchero Jalisco…is what I got and it was delicioso! I’m not sure if it’s an “Authentic Mexican Dish,” but I recommend it. Came with obligatory chips and salsa and of course a selection of Mexican beers are available. Service was snappy and my waiter had a very upbeat attitude. He earned the 20% tip I added.
Great food also loved the ambience gave a real Mexican vibe nicely decorated. Service was friendly and helpful.

Our first time to eat here but it won't be the last. The carnitas, enchiladas and tacos were really good. The tomatillo sauce was the best that I have ever had. We live in Hot Springs Village but w…
5 stars across the board!! Everything was excellent! Let's start with how good the chips and salsa were! chips were fresh and the salsa was homemade. \nThe food was amazing! We cleaned our plate.…
Phenomenal margaritas, great food, great service. The Jalisco fajitas were bussin, my girls street tacos were legit. Please go to this place for a good time
My husband and I loved the food! We got nachos and street tacos and it was all so good! The shredded chicken on the nachos had an amazing flavor. The chips and salsa are excellent! The service was …
We recently dined at Salsa’s, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The nachos were the highlight of the meal—crispy, loaded with toppings, and absolutely delicious. The fresh salsa paired with them was great as well. Unfortunately, the mexi rolls and tacos didn’t impress, both lacking in flavor. As for the margaritas, they tasted like a pre-mixed drink and didn’t quite hit the mark—definitely not as strong or fresh as we had hoped. On a positive note, our server was great and had a wonderful attitude. With a few tweaks, this spot could really shine!
We stopped by this restaurant while traveling from Texas and It did not disappoint. The chips and salsa were good and our waitress kept our bowls full. I had the Molcajete bowl and my wife had the burrito plate. Food came out hot and fresh and had very good flavors. My complaint, the waitress spoken so quietly that she was hard to hear. We definitely struggled trying to communicate. Overall its was a good experience and I would come back.
Being from Texas, I'm used to TexMex food. The bar service was a little slow at first but the food was actually really good so I was a little impressed. Loved the chips and salsa

Service great, food average, price not worth the food. Good atmosphere. Go to Jose's Cantina. Better food and price.

We were passing through, not local. The reviews seemed hit and miss but we gave it a try. Food: was fine. Nothing special. Very black pepper heavy? Which we thought was a little odd. They must have ran out of salsa verde, as they left it off both my wife and I's dish and didnt mention it. The beans and rice were bland and had the texture like they had been under a heat lamp for a good while (dry). My wife's tamales tasted like something was rancid or on the way out. Everything needed more seasoning. Service: our waiter was sooo nice. He honestly saved the star rating. Some of the back of house staff seemed miserable. Atmosphere: the fountain was cool and it looks unique in the main dining section. However, the place had tons of tables clearly open and for some reason we were taken to this back corner where the entire sections lights are blinking constantly. If you're having electrical issues please don't seat ppl in that section. We moved after requesting it and just went outside. Id say that was fine but the bathroom for the patio had no tp or moreso paper towel and employees were using it somehow washing their hands while we ate. Overall, if youre hard up for somewhere to eat, i guess it was ok. Maybe it was an off night, but we won't plan on coming back soon. Oh, and for 4 people it was 120$ with one dish per person and no alc drinks. So do with that what you will.

Highly Disappointed with the Vegetarian options and quality of the food. The food we ordered was literally melting and floating in cheese. Burrito, Poblano peppers or enchiladas didn’t taste like one but felt like I was dining on cheese and only cheese. It was ridiculously cheesy and elastic like rubber including tortillas. Their house Margarita was 9/10 Chips and Salsa 8/10 Customer service 10/10 Ambience 10/10 We had to just leave half the food as it was chewy. The whole experience was disappointing and was like throwing $50 with tips down the drain.
The atmosphere was nice and they had pretty good service. The food was disappointing. I ordered the Ranchero seafood which was supposed to have crab meat. They served imitation crab meat. Ughhh, it was disgusting. I should have sent the plate back and ordered something else honestly. They really should specify on the menu that it is not real crab meat. I would have never ordered that had I known.
The sign said “authentic Mexican food”. I would beg to differ. My husband, our grand children and I went to eat there and it was completely lackluster. I ordered the fajitas and there was truly not enough meat to make 3 tacos. Also, my favorite thing about Mexican food is the refried beans but, the refried beans were soured! The name of the restaurant is salsa but the salsa was cold and had no flavor. The fajita meat did have a good taste what I did get. The children’s taco plate was so greasy my granddaughter could only eat one. The waitress walked past us a couple times while our glasses were empty and we had to stop her to get refills. This was definitely not a good experience. We will be avoiding this place in the future.

Make sure to ask them if any side or little extra things will cost you anything!! We Had a horrible experience here. I got carne asadas and they come with very little meat ( any I've ever had have enough meat in them but theirs have like 2 tablespoons of minced carne) I asked for a little bit extra and they charged us an entire meals worth and the manager wouldn't fix it. I understand that if you ask for extra if anything it'll cost but they charged us an entire meals worth and wouldn't fix it. Won't be coming back here
We were traveling King on vacations, and the restaurant looked festive. Looked at reviews and wished we would have taken heed. The restaurant is old, looks deep dirty, the men's restrooms smelled so bad when you walked down the hall, I almost threw up. Like urine has been on the floors for a long time. Women's restrooms were out of toilet paper and had a roll of paper towels sitting out. Now the food we ordered the Margherita came out of a machine, premixed and watery. The salsa was like store brand. The 'Nachos Salsa', greasy, unmelted cheese, the chicken was so salty couldn't eat it. The Quesaberia, super greasy, the beef was in clumps and had no flavor. We left 90% of our food. Worst Mexican food we've ever had. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. I'm praying we don't get sick. Plus, our water had floaties
