This is Flippin Curtis's place. It's a tight little watering hole in the Heights. The craftsmanship here is top-notch.

Such a nice, chill bar with a beautiful ambiance. The lighting and décor create a relaxed, stylish vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Perfect for a calm night out with good drinks and good company.

I literally LOVE coming here! Victor is amazing & there are 2 bartenders (a blonde and a short, dark haired girl) that I regularly see. I feel welcomed every time. Barber served us today & he was also very nice. 10/10 recommend everyone to come here ♥️

Great staff here. First time in on a Sunday and the spritz specials were awesome. The two bar staff were friendly and engaging. It made us feel welcome and appreciated. I’m adding this to my Heights area rotation.

This bar is simply the cutest! Love the decor and the vibe! They have awesome drink specials during the week and the bartenders especially Valerie are amazing! They also have a nice size patio and outdoor restrooms which are a plus!! Will definitely keep going back!

Almost Famous is a hidden gem! We had our son's Wedding Rehearsal Dinner there and it was great! Wonderful, casual atmosphere and the owners/staff were a joy to work with! Thank you Stephanie, Travis and staff!!!

This bar hosted our 20 person book club and let me just say it was perfect. From the hospitality to the atmosphere, this is the best venue for large group gatherings & parties! They have an intimate indoor bar & a huge outdoor yard with its own personal bar! There are lots of tables, tons of chairs, lights to set the mood, and an awesome playlist. We asked to turn down the music so we could have a book discussion and they accommodated everything we needed! Not to mention getting 20 lemon drop shots ready for us in less than 5 minutes! I’m super impressed with this bar and I hope to see many more gatherings here! Thank you for hosting us at knowledge is power book club

Their drinks were great and I loved the atmosphere. Very cute design and just a beautiful back patio. If I were local this would be my spot.

This place is so cuuute! On Wednesday night they have karaoke and it’s hosted by some guy named DJ Kuraoke and it was such a vibe!! You definitely need to swing by here because it was much needed for a mid week turn up

Food truck food was pretty good. Mini martinis were just 2 oz but packed a mighty punch. The only thing is they ran out of Cosmos and lemon 🍋 drops before 6pm. I plan to go back, though.

No free parking unless you park on the street. Bartender was quite friendly and helpful. Karaoke was going on and the KJ was a bit disorganized and signing up was a bit chaotic. Drinks were very expensive. I walked out and viewed the back patio which is quite spacious but opted to sit at the bar.

After seeing the viral tik tok my friends and I decided to try the tiny tini happy hour. We go there at 5:15 and stood in line for a drink for 30 minutes. There were chairs blocking the bar that only allowed 2 spots where you could squeeze between and order. The bar was so HOT, with no fans to get some air flow. The patio out back was cute but there was so much unused space. The reason I am giving it two stars is bc the martinis were served in a shot glass. We came for cute tiny tinis and were severely disappointed.

Keep in mind the previous person was playing Aaliyah. No rap music but slow R&b but the guy WITH TATTOOS IN HIS FACE said the owner wanted a certain ambience (coded for no black music). With that said my ratings have changed. Good luck, almost famous.

Was really excited to try Almost Famous for the first time and had heard great things about the atmosphere. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t match the expectations. We went on a Saturday midday around 2pm and it was surprisingly slow, which made the interaction at the bar even more disappointing. When we asked a few basic questions about drinks, the bartender came across as dismissive and lacked basic manners and professionalism. It felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming, especially as first-time guests just trying to get a feel for the menu. We ended up leaving shortly after because the service just wasn’t there. I’m always happy to give places a fair shot, but first impressions matter... especially in hospitality. I hope this was just an off day, because the space itself has potential.
