Lidia and Tee are amazing! They both went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and stress-free. Lidia is so kind, professional, and really pays attention to detail, while Tee is friendly, helpful, and makes the whole experience enjoyable. You can tell they truly care about their customers. I highly recommend asking for them if you want great service! The razzle dazzle is my go to drink btw
Parking’s rough on busy evenings, and even when it’s packed the wait isn’t more than 20 minutes. Tons of flavors and options, well done. This place is awesome.
This place was great! I had been wanting to try it and finally got the chance to. My family is from Hawaii so far I have found no shave ice place comparable! I knew someone had done their research when I found out they put ice cream on the bottom. Nothing can beat Matsumoto’s shave ice, so don’t expect that when you visit lol. However, service was very friendly and definitely will be back!
☀️ Summer Bliss at Happy Go Lucky HTX 🍧✨ If you're looking for the perfect way to cool down and treat yourself in Houston, look no further than Happy Go Lucky HTX! This place is pure joy in a cup — colorful, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet. We tried two of their shaved ice creations, and wow — they delivered! The vibrant red, blue, and white mix wasn’t just Insta-worthy, it was bursting with flavor. One was topped with cute mini marshmallows, and the other had juicy red popping boba that added an extra burst of fun with every bite. The texture of the ice? Spot on — fluffy, fine, and soaked in flavor without being mushy. 🍧 Why you'll love it here: Super refreshing treats perfect for the Houston heat 🔥 Adorable and colorful presentation 🌈 Great outdoor vibe with plenty of seating Family-friendly and full of good energy! 💛 📍 Whether you're on a summer outing, a date, or just need a pick-me-up, this place is a must-visit. Trust me — your taste buds will thank you. 10/10 Summer Vibes 🌴☀️🍧
This place is such a Vibe! Love the location to bad it’s not near my neighborhood of Cypress and Tomball! Definitely enjoyed the vibe and energy of young ladies working here! I got a Mangonada which was soo good! So good I had to make a TikTok later! Too bad they don’t carry “Leche” flavor or a Pickle Piccadilly!!! None the less prices decent ! You can get a basics cone for think $5
Visited in a Saturday morning right at opening before everyone else. Ordering was easy and customer service great. Lots of options. Place gets busy fairly quick, making the outside sitting area crowded fast. Parking was easy and on-site. May become a bit more difficult at later times in the day. Overall experience was excellent! Great addition to the Heights area.
Happy Go Lucky is easily the best snow cone shop in Houston! I came to their grand opening and was impressed by their wide menu variety and unique twist to traditional hawaiian shaved ice. If you’re ever in the mood for a sweet treat I would definitely recommend checking them out.
I recently visited Hawaii and tried this type of Shaved Ice 🍧, and I loved it! I found this place that sells them, so we decided to go. Honestly, they're delicious; we absolutely loved them! I did have to wait, but that wasn't a problem for me, and the place is cute. I loved the vibe.✨🫧🌺
We loved it so much we came back for the second day straight. Glad that it’s so close to the house. They are so good. We did try new flavors today. The only one we didn’t like much is the dreamsicle but it’s an overall 5⭐️ for us. We love the strawberry delight/Mangonada/Aloha/Coco Loco/Bomb Pop & the happy rainbow. We all order separate and try them all. The bomb pop and the strawberry delight are our top picks as a family.
Stopped by my brother’s new spot Happy Go Lucky for their opening and I’m officially hooked. The Hawaiian frozen ice was legit delicious, perfect for cooling off in this Houston heat. The vibe is just as good as the treat, fun, welcoming, and right next to his other restaurants. Pro tip: grab the new special Torta at The Taco Stand first, then stroll over to Happy Go Lucky for dessert. You will leave full, happy, and possibly a little sticky (worth it). Can’t wait to bring my kids. Congrats bro! 🍧🌮🍔🍕
I have to admit, I expected just your typical shave ice cream—but I was pleasantly surprised. The coconut flavor was delightful, refreshing, and packed with a creamy tropical taste that really stood out. Highly Recommended if you are into shave ice cream with a twist and pack with various favors.

Really neat place with lots of seating and parking spaces. They will even make your dog a plain snow cone, if you ask. I got the Aloha and wow, so good! Update: This place has the absolute nicest people working there!
Happy Go Lucky Hawaiian Shave Ice – Dessert Review I stopped by thinking this was an ice cream shop, but it turned out to be Hawaiian shave ice — and I’m so glad we gave it a try! I originally went for the kids, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. We ordered two Happy Rainbows, which came with strawberry, pineapple, and vanilla syrups, strawberry and pineapple purée, a drizzle of sweetened condensed milk, fresh fruit, rainbow mochi, and a creamy vanilla ice cream base. Every bite was fresh, fruity, and smooth — the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing. It wasn’t what I expected when I pulled up looking for ice cream, but it definitely hit the spot. Next time I’m craving something cold and sweet, I might just skip the ice cream and come back here instead. 🍓🍍🍧
Good flavors! I got the Alolha something and my little cousin got the Happy Rainbow. My biggest issue and biggest reason for not returning frequently is the packaging - the cup pictured was overflowing upon pick up and dripped over my entire pants, the floor and table.
Now this place is pretty cool.... LITERALLY snow cones tasted great. I had the bomb cone and my wife had the rainbow....delicious.....would definitely recommend especially on a hot day.
Went around 9 pm and the place was still packed. Loved the vibe of the place. The way the line goes into the seating area is a little awkward. Aside from that the place was clean and the treats were really good.

i have excited to try this new place especially in the texas summer heat, however, it was a bit disappointing (definitely doesn’t compare to real hawaiian shaved ice) i loved their build your own as i could choose several flavors. i would suggest changing the cups they served it in as the bottom was very small making it easy to tip over (which did happen). overall very yummy but not truly authentic.

When this snocone spot first opened, it was amazing. The line would wrap down the street, and it was absolutely worth the wait. The syrup-to-ice ratio was perfect, the flavors were spot on, and the toppings (especially the boba and purées) made it stand out. We loved it so much that we went almost every week for the first two months! It’s not quite the same as true Hawaiian shave ice (because, well, nothing beats the real thing in Hawaiʻi), but for Houston, it came impressively close. Unfortunately, the quality hasn’t stayed the same. These days, the snocones are hit or miss; halfway through, there’s barely any syrup left and you’re just crunching plain ice. The boba and purée toppings have also gotten lighter with each visit, and even some of the flavors have changed. My go-to “Tiger” flavor, which used to be amazing, now tastes totally different. Consistency is key to keeping people coming back, and I really hope they can get back to the level they started with — because when it was good, it was really good.

Waited a while after they opened to try it out for the first time so they could find their groove and it was alright. Wait time was short because it was slow and empty. I ordered the Aloha Island—Blue Coconut and Passion Fruit. The flavor of the syrup was pretty mild and hard to recognize. I did get my shaved ice to-go because I was running errands but ended up digging into it immediately. I was disappointed with the amount of shaved ice to flavor ratio in the cup. The syrup was just was too heavy with the condensed milk and there wasn’t any ice just liquid and toppings. Best part about it was the toppings—mochi and toasted coconut. I’m giving it two stars because the girl that took my order (I wish I grabbed her name) was so nice and helpful, and because I liked the toppings. The price point was a little steep $7 for a regular size. I would like to try the cocktail ice sometime, but this spot will not replace the other shaved ice company I frequent.
I saw so many tiktok’s and the reviews said it tasted like straight from hawaii. I was just in hawaii, it does NOT taste anything like it. I didn’t know that it would come in a foam cup ordering it through the togo line, if you want it to look aesthetic then you have to walk in person to the front. I got the aloha island, which was passionfruit and blue coconut. Didn’t taste any passionfruit it was all majority blue coconut as you can see in the photo it’s like 2/3 coconut and 1/3 passionfruit. All the syrup just went straight to the bottom and it was not enjoyable to eat and the ice cream tasted like play dough 😭 like the smell of play dough. The mochi had a weird texture it wasn’t chewy like it should be. I think they’re still brand new so maybe they’re still adjusting to things, will probably come back later on.

Nice presentation but the quality of the product is unexceptionable! We ordered five snow cones and they all tasted watered down! No flavor at all!! A total waste of money!
I came twice, the first time i came they put condensed milk (i did not ask for condensed milk) in the bottom of the cup causing me to not be able to finish my snoball. The second time my cup was only 1/4 filled with syrup. Highly dissatisfied, this place is only for aesthetics! Staff were nice.
