A friend and I went today for brunch and we were super pleased with the food. It was so good! He ordered the breakfast sandwich from the brunch menu and I had the eggs and pancakes. The tomato bisque and sandwich was amazing! Literally the best tomato bisque I’ve ever tasted! The eggs and hash browns and bacon were really good as well. We liked our server Devon who was very polite and provided good service. I would definitely go back in the future when I want brunch again and a good overall experience.

I came here after going to The Barking Pig and them not being opened at 4 pm, despite their hours online being listed at opening at 4 pm. I am glad we didn't get stuck at the Barking Pig as Crisp was amazing! Our server was awesome! She was attentive and made great suggestions. The service was perfect! The food was good. We had the HRW menu. I had the pork belly, gnocchi, and tiramisu. Everything was perfect! I can't wait to return!

The ambiance here was so relaxed and inviting, the music wasn’t too loud. My husband and I were looking to try something different while in town, and the menu items drew me in, so we had to come! The goat cheese marinara appetizer was right up our alley and it comes with 4 pieces of wine soaked bread, but you can get a side of 4 more pieces for $4 👀 we also shared the calamari (which was excellent!) and the burger (I put some of the extra marinara sauce and goat cheese on my burger, and in my opinion made the burger 😅🤤) we will definitely be coming back to try other menu items!

If you looking to try a new spot in Houston then you should visit Crisp! I liked my food and the vibe of the restaurant. My Blanco past had the right amount of protein and veggies. I wish they had a pesto dish.

Let me start out by saying that our server Oscar was amazing. I have been in the resturant for many years and it's good to see a server who gave excellent service. From the moment he sat down he asked if this was our first time. He knew the menue and made suggestion. I had a slight situation with my meal and Oscar took care of it in a professional manner. I will be giving this place another look because despite the situation with the food the service from Oscar was top of the line.

We went for lunch it was quiet, which is awesome, the food was really good. The salmon blt was amazing and the BBQ pizza. They have a good wine selection and nice service.

We went on New Year’s Day. There weren’t a lot of people there. Our server, Emanuel, was very nice. We started with win and two apps. We also had pizza. We shared spaghetti and meatballs and had cheesecake for dessert. Arancini Duet was good. So was the spaghetti and meatballs. Only thing about it was the flavor of the sauce wasn’t as bold as I expected. We added chicken to the Margharita pizza. It was delicious. The Truffle Fries were good. The cheesecake was delicious. I would go back again.

We had a great time on the patio. The server was kind, happily turning the heater on for us. He didn't rush us and let us take our time. The drunken bread and baked goat cheese appetizer is fantastic. My friends enjoyed the short ribs. The flavor of my shrimp and polenta was excellent, but the polenta was dry and the shrimp were a bit over cooked. Two of us felt that the brownie could use a deeper flavor but one of us thought it was well done, not too sweet. If you like a dense brownie, this isn't it.

Crisp usually does not disappoint when it comes to food and service. This time I veered from the pizza and chose the “lighter side” Simply Grilled Salmon. Although the taste was satisfactory the presentation was not pleasant. The soupy quinoa mixed with the vinaigrette and pesto was muddy and the asparagus was a little tough. The salmon was good. When altogether eaten in one bite the taste was also good so subtracting only one star. Service was excellent as usual. Still a favorite restaurant on our rotation.

This is a great neighborhood pizza spot if you're looking for mimosas and pizza brunch. The patio in the back is spacious and great for large groups. The pizza itself is good for a daytime group setting but I wasn't blown away. Then brunch menu itself is very short and limited options. the hash was the best item in my opinion. The Baked Texas Goat cheese and marinera was really great and our favorite. It's a good portion to share for 4 people. The calzones were the last item we picked and it kinda bland.

I enjoyed the atmosphere when we walked in we sat in the bar area and it took about 15 minutes before they greeted us but the waiter was really nice and everything came out in good timing after that. The drinks were perfect I had the Sunny Spritz and also ordered Risotto Balls which were a bit too salty for my taste but really moist and crunchy outside. The crab soup was very flavorful however it was pretty cold and again too salty for my taste but the hominy ball inside was simply a delicious treat. We also had the brownie for dessert and it was really good moist and not too overly sweet just perfect. Ill return and try the pizza and the salads because they all looked amazing.

This was an extremely disappointing experience, on many levels. We visited on a Friday evening. At this time, it was not as busy. It took 25 minutes from the time we were seated to even be offered a drink, and that was because we asked. It's not a great start. Our food surprisingly took a long time to come out. Our food was unacceptable. The crab bisque tasted sour and couldn't be eaten, and we sent it back. Let me say, it takes a lot for me to send food back. Both of our pizzas were cold. Not warm. Cold! We were so hungry and frustrated at this point that we ate them cold. Our server, who has been previously mentioned in a negative light in past reviews by others, was terrible. His mannerisms, attitude, and sheer lack of care and attention were the final deal breakers for me. I truly don't care if this restaurant had a good vibe or looks decent inside and out. Houston has way too many incredible options. We do not have to accept these experiences. I will definitely never return to this restaurant!
