A gem on the corner (: Steak so good. Seasoned well. The bread is consistently soft and fresh. Friendly staff. Ample parking, and lots of clean seating. Came back a few times to try different stuff. Portions are a good amount. All the smothered stuff is a little crazy but in the best ways. The hot pepper oil has got a kick for sure.

Oh what a magical place! I’m currently sitting here with my wife singing in joy while stuffing our faces with magical goodness. Super friendly service, amazing food and great tunes. I’ve prayed and the food gods have responded, these “Philly” cheesesteaks are next level! The portions are huge and the flavors are bigger. Don’t let the appearance of the lot it’s located on fool you this is a must have in Houston.

Overall these sandwiches are a great deal. Bread to meat ratio is spot on. When I call in orders they're ready in about 10 minutes. Plenty of seating inside also. The sandwiches we have tried have all been delicious. The mozzarella sticks are amazing!

Pappa Geno’s original location has been a favorite for Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches for years. Plenty of good tasting meat, I think it ribeyes, and a good bread. It’s my favorite in town and if you are wanting a great sandwich to rival anywhere, come here. This is there Smothered Philly, I added mayonnaise.

So this was the first time I ever came here, I came when they opened at 11am. I ordered the #6.. and of course it had the forever loved cheez whiz, I don't care, judge me... But to enjoy this, you must have a true master palate... no... You don't need to be a chef, you just need to know what taste good together, and give it a shot. But it came with pepper oils and other cheeses. I also got onion rings which came with honey mustard. But the Philly cheese steak, was A++... It reminded me of when times were simpler. I will definitely be coming back. The lady was super nice and helpful. 👌👌

The food is always on point and calling in an order is so easy with such friendly staff. My favorite order is the #1 with mushrooms added and the hot peppers on the side. Delish!

Well. I didn't give it a 5 cuz they changed their french fries since the last time which was in October 2025. They used to have a crunchy exterior. Now they are bland like everyone else's. Boo. The muzac was too loud this time. Hadn't noticed it before.

The service here is really good. The young lady was very nice and answered my questions about their Philly cheesesteaks. I ordered the wicked Philly cheesesteak and the fat one I believe it was called the wicked Philly cheesesteak it comes with jalapeños and different type of peppers on it. It was very good. Does have a little kick to it. If you’re a spicy lover, I do recommend it. The fat one has a lot going on. It has mozzarella sticks on it with cheese steak two crispy chicken tenders, and cheese fries all on top of the Philly cheesesteak. Even though it was super good it is a lot of cheese. It was definitely a one time experience with the fat one Philly cheese. I probably wouldn’t get it again, but it wasn’t bad for the price. For both Philly cheesesteaks and one drink, the price came out to $37. The cheesesteaks are huge and you will definitely get filled up.

Good service here and decent food. I got the number one for takeout and it was fine. It took about ten minutes for the order and the food stayed warm despite me eating it an hour later. It was wrapped well in foil which is what helped the food stay warm. The taste was kind of plain - I should’ve gotten one of the Phillys with more toppings. I wish there was a special sauce or something on top. The meat was good as was the cheese and the sandwich bread for the philly was probably the most comparable to east coast quality in town

Really good classic and modern subs. prices are really good and the size and fullness of the subs are unmatched. Located in the heights with friendly staff.

I love that they have options on cheeses & very different sandwiches that include gravy, so very unique but not too unique that it takes away from the original philly. My sandwich was really good I had the number 3 minus the gravy & added mayo. I was a little irritated that they served people that were eating in house first vs my to go order even though I was one of the first persons there. I was on my way back home to Dallas & it set us back a tad. They should do the orders as they are in order. Overall really good Philly cheesesteak & I would come back, hopefully with better service. I may change my review to a 4 star.
