I celebrated my birthday at Union Kitchen yesterday and it was my first time there. They had a special table ready for me with a handwritten birthday card from the staff such a thoughtful touch that made me feel truly welcomed. The food was excellent, with large portions and beautiful presentation. Service was quick, attentive, and very pleasant, which made the whole evening flow perfectly. We all left very happy and I can honestly say we'll be coming back. Highly recommended for special occasions or simply enjoying a great meal with family and friends!

I had an amazing brunch experience here with my wife! The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was so tranquil—it made for a perfect start to the day. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the biscuits were the best I’ve ever had, and the gravy was excellent. On top of that, the staff truly shined, making the experience even better. Oh my goodness. Union Kitchen is an absolute MUST when you are in Houston! The place is phenomenal. The food is amazing. Those NOLA Voodoo Meatballs are. EVERYTHING! The atmosphere is just right, family meet-up, drinks with friends, date night, or solo dining, You definitely won't leave hungry! The staff and service were so good that I joked with friends that they must have thought I was a food critic.🤣 My server was Kristal, and when I was indecisive about a cocktail with bourbon in it, she spoke with Wes, the bartender. He came to my table personally to ask questions, explain various bourbons they had, and made one special based on what I told him. Shout out to Ralph, the manager, as well!!! Whatever you're doing with your team, keep it up! I make it a point now to pull up whenever I'm in town from Dallas.

My Houston cohort recommended Union Kitchen for brunch. I enjoyed the experience except for one significant issue. It took almost 15 minutes for a server to come to our table. A man who I'm sure was the manager did not stop by our table either, even though we had no beverages, which is a clear indicator that no one had stopped by the table. On to the positives. The food was amazing. I had the Deviled Eggs and the Country Fried Steak. Both were really good. Portion sizes are on the bigger side, so you will definitely leave full. The decor and ambiance were pleasing. I would recommend Union Kitchen and I would return. Enjoy.

The menu is varied with lots of choices. Great prices on the lunch specials. Nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. Food is very good generally, but can be inconsistent (my wife’s chicken breast was overcooked and dry, mine from a different menu item was perfectly cooked). We like coming here and should come in more often.

There were some menu changes since the last time we went, but the food was still very good and the service as well. The manager was very kind and checked on us a couple of times. We were celebrating a birthday and we all enjoyed our visit.

Been here once. I recall the food and service were fine. My only recommendation here is please advocate to your landlord to add electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the parking lot. It'll potentially bring you more customers and increase revenue. You already seem to attract them! Consider contacting local Houston company Pangea Charging to learn more and have EV charging stations installed in the parking lot.

Dined in for brunch on Mother’s Day, service seemed slow as there were many open tables. My friend and I were very excited to try their mushroom veggie burger but apparently it was discontinued it a month ago. We were wanting to share a bunch of Vegetarian options but it was very limited. The server said they can turn make any dish into vegetarian. Therefore, we ordered the Parmesan chicken pasta and substituted the protein for their roasted Brussels sprouts and asked to make vegetable forward (It basically was Fettuccine Alfredo with mixed vegetables and a side of plain dry Brussels sprouts on the side.) This completely lacked in seasoning, nothing special. The temperature wasn’t hot, we had to ask if they could microwave it. Seemed like they threw it together without any care if it was good or not. Very disappointing. We didn’t want to trouble them to change it out as there weren’t too many options for us to begin with. We also ordered a potato omelette which was alright, nothing exciting and the portion was small for what it was. So we asked for some bread.. when the other female server offered different options of jams.. my friend wanted the mixed berries and when she came back, she brought us strawberry jam. My friend wasn’t a fan of strawberry but we settled with it as it took her awhile to come back. The only thing that was good was their Asian crunchy salad and their Spinach dip. My friend and I felt very let down. The server Jesse was made aware of our dissatisfaction and it was not his fault but we wanted to see what effort they were going to make it better. He sent the GM over and he said Hi to us which was nice and very brief. When we asked for a box to go, Jesse just dropped off the styrofoam box and said “and heres a bag if you need it.” And walked away. Honestly, service is pretty poor. I appreciate it when the server assists with boxing our food, but maybe that’s too much to expect here. It’s really the little details that make a place special. In the end that was that and nothing else. On a special day like Mother’s Day you would think they would care more. I wouldn’t come back here.

Lovely decor and seating - just needs more work on the menu. We came for lunch and ordered a few different items that would have benefitted from any kind of seasoning at all. The mashed potatoes and cheesecake were the only good items, in my opinion. The staff is very friendly, though, which is always appreciated. There are accessible parking spaces, and the restroom and dining area are wheelchair friendly.
