This is one of my favorite places to go— I’ve been coming here since I was little and was introduced to it by my parents who would come here when they were dating. It is both nostalgic and still very good food and service wise. My parents love to order the family pack because it would feed our family of five, I personally love their variations of seafood cocktails and their fried oysters. A lot has changed since I was little but I still love it here💕

First time trying this place and came here on a Thursday night around 7pm. Restaurant wasn't busy at all. Was greeted promptly and seated. Took our drink order and gave us time to look over the menu. Ordered a frozen lime margarita and it was tasty, not that boozy but still decent for $4.99. Also ordered 1/2 dozen raw oysters to start and they were good size and fresh. For entrees we ordered steamed fish (bass) with rice & fries and 3 shrimp + 4oz fried oysters with rice & fries. Both entrees were very enjoyable and generous portions. I enjoyed all of the items I ordered and the service was friendly & polite. I didn't notice a bad odor as some of the other reviews have mentioned. Pro tip: Happy hour is M-Th from 3pm - 7pm and they have 1/2 margaritas, $14.99 dozen raw oysters, gumbo specials, and shrimp specials. Next time I come back will definitely be during HH as this is the best deal. And I will be back soon.

Xenia is the BEST waitress at this joint! Tuesdays is Kids eat free, and honestly, in this economy it helped stretch our budget in a positive way. The food came out hot and fresh and was delicious. I ordered the #1 which has 2 pieces of fish, 6 shrimp, fried rice and a roll. We ordered a stuffed crab on the side and it was so good with whole pieces of shrimp inside the stuffed crab. I highly recommend this place. Great food, great price. My meal was less than $10.00 (not including the stuffed crab).

This is my absolute favorite go to place! They have a responsibility affordable menu for everyone there service is wonderful even when they are so busy and crowded I've never had a wrong order, bad order nothing. This place is amazing my mom's friend, husbands knows or knew the owners and brought me one time and I've been hooked ever since I usually get 2 pieces fish and fried rice both are excellent. I will not eat fish anywhere except for Connie's and their fried rice let's just say there was a point I moved away and would drive 2 hours just to come to Connie's it's that good!!!💯🙌🍽️❤️

If you want some great seafood, go to Connie's on Airline St. This place has been around forever and the food is great. I usually order a #1, which is 2 pieces of fish, 6 shrimps and their famous shrimp fried rice. You can't go wrong. Also, the service is amazing. My favorite waitress, Maylin always greets me as I walk in. She always seems happy to see me and has such a great smile. Maylin is serious about her work, she knows my favorites dishes and my order is always correct. She continually checks on me throughout my visit to make sure everything is OK, no matter how busy they are. She is an exemplary employee and a wonderful waitress. I look forward to my next visit.

My family and I frequent this establishment 3 times a month. The food and drinks are good, but the service can be hit and miss. Management has changed a bit, which has put a strain on consistency.

It caught my attention as the El Bolillo bakery is nearby, and their bread is good, so I decided to try this restaurant out. Everything turned out to be nice but I would say the ranch did give me a stomach ache. In addition to this, the vibe was okay, the service was good, and parking was somewhat difficult to find. I had no issues with the food—it was actually quite good. However, the service left a lot to be desired. I ordered a horchata that didn’t taste right to me, and when I politely asked to switch it out for something else, I was told no. The staff said I could order a different drink, but that the manager insisted I would still be charged for the original one, even though I didn’t enjoy it and barely touched it. To make things worse, the manager didn’t even come over to speak with me directly. Good food can’t make up for poor customer service. It’s disappointing when a simple issue like a drink swap turns into a negative experience—especially when it could have been handled with a little flexibility and better communication.

After we had a few failed waitresses we finally got one who was a big help and had the beat service out of everyone working that night. If you come here, the food is always excellent and fresh! I recommend Xenia as your server she is wonderful! BUT ASK FOR A DIFFERENT SERVER IF ITS JENNIFER A. She brought out drinks that we never asked for and when we sent it back she still charged us for it! When we asked for a manager she told the manager we had ordered that drink and sent it back but both of them would not comp the drinks we never ordered or drank. Went in for the first time Monday May 12 at 9:30 pm No wait time , got seated fast . I ordered a Beer-Rita first then my food , however it didn’t come out on time I watched them remake it Two times before bringing my drink out WITH my food , wasn’t satisfied with it and asked to please have it taken off my bill so I ordered a soda (manager refused to take it off my tab no worries I paid for something they still took back ) , my food was okay the fish was a bit cold while the fries boiling hot , the bread was also cold , very disappointing overall .

My tip was changed. My credit card company sent me a email asking if I had tipped 35%. Much to my surprise Connie’s altered my tip to enrich themselves. PLEASE CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS! I have a feeling this is wide spread. Needless to say I won’t be back.

I've been coming here for 5 years. Its amazing 👏 how they get complacent. When I walked in, the silly waitresses (5) in total where just looking at us like we where stupid, they just stared at us and didn't say anything. There's a sign that Cleary says " Wait to be Seated " one of them says 🤔 have a seat wherever you like. This restaurant is a perfect example on complacency. They got so complacent that the quality of the food has went down. I won't come back here. Everything sucks. The only thing that still taste ok is the breaded catfish 🐟 is awesome .it's worth taking to go but nit dine in. Too many other places to go eat and enjoy than throw your money away and waste time.

This is ridiculous I got 4 #1 i ask the cashier for tarter sauce and the women says yes we put some in there. I gwt my order and they did not put any in my order then I ask another lady and says we have to charge you we can only give you 2 per plate. I ask to speak with manager and Evelyn says yes we charge extra. How are you going to charge me extra for tarter sauce when my plate needs to bee eaten with tarter sauce! I've been going here for years and never have they tried to charge me extra on my order. Dont order go there unless you want to be charged extra for your meal!

The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired—especially if you're not a male customer. When we arrived, we were approached by three different waitresses within the first few minutes. One took our drink order, another came almost immediately after to take our food order—despite us having asked the first waitress for more time to review the menu—and then a third came to confirm our order again. It felt disorganized and rushed. Once the food arrived (which was delicious), getting further service was a challenge. We had to flag someone down just to get attention. Meanwhile, we noticed the waitresses were highly attentive to male customers—checking in regularly, making conversation, and generally offering a much more engaging experience. Even the manager was chatting and laughing with male patrons at the bar, which came across as unprofessional and inattentive to the rest of the guests. It’s disappointing to see such a disparity in customer service. Great food should be matched with equally great service for everyone, regardless of gender.
