Del Pueblo has been a Cypress staple ever since I can remember. Been coming here for 25 years!! The prices have soared, the restaurant is 3 times bigger and the food is good enough. Being from Houston’s barrio, my expectations are higher than most gringas. Everyone here seems happy!!

Today my wife and I went for lunch after they reopen the place. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the service is outstanding, and the food is top of the line. I was highly impressed with all new changes and look forward to keep coming. The owner came to ask us about our experience and we told her that we were delighted. She even allow us to take a picture of her!

Cozy and quiet place with live music, good food and especially excellent service from the waiter "Adrian". The dish we ordered was roast beef with a very good flavor, we were really satisfied, I recommend it 👌

I was told that this place was the new Ninfa's. I was told they retain the old chef staff and management from Ninfa's. I was told to expect the same decor. I arrived here to a packed house tonight. It was my first time. i'm glad I came. I loved my visit and my experience. I did feel like I was at Ninfa's. This place is rocking and I will definitely be back.

We ate lunch. It was not busy at 12pm on a Thursday. Easy to park. We ordered off the lunch menu. Each of our meals were $11.99 each. They had a happy hour, beer $2.50, and a margarita for $5. We did not get alcohol. The chips and green sauce and salsa was very good. I had beef fajita tacos that were covered in gravy and cheese with rice and refried beans and I got a side of the Borracho beans, they were excellent. There was so much food I took half of it home. The tacos were very large and full of meat. My sister had a beef taco, and it came with two cheese enchiladas rice and beans. She said it was very good. We would definitely go back here. The service was very good. We also took home a piece of cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake. They had a very nice selection of desserts, very reasonably priced, under $6!! They also had carrot cake and another chocolate cake, and other desserts. They all look delicious. You could go in there just for the desert! This place was recommended by a friend and my sister‘s daughter.

Food is always good. The Servers are always on top of it! They have made some changes inside and i think it makes the place ambiance better.

The food and atmosphere is amazing! Try the frozen Margaritas they are very good! Customer Service gets an A because they have a very friendly staff!

I enjoyed the feel of the restaurant, the service was Very Good, and the taste of the food was delicious and the tortilla's were made fresh. I did have a few problems with the kitchen. My Sister ordered some tamales plain but when she got them they were covered with the sauce she didn't want in the first place. Second my food was warm and Not hot. I still ate it and these were my only complaints. Other than that the food was Great.

It's ok Mexican food. There is definitely better out there, especially for the prices they charge. Chips were good with green salsa. Red salsa is ok. Enchiladas are basic and not something I would be in a rush to come back for. Lunch prices are much more reasonable, so maybe that would be a better time to come. Margaritas are pretty good and strong.

Fun family local hangout for decent TexMex. It's not my fave for the food, but I have been meeting friends here for over 20 years to visit, catch up, and share margaritas and tasty quesadillas and nachos. Everyone knows where it is, the staff is friendly, the vibe is relaxed. It's truly a neighborhood gathering place.

My friends ordered a (don't know name of dish) Tortilla with fajita meat. The Tortilla was hard as a brick as was the meat. We asked for another & it was much better. My Del Pueblo Deluxe dish was presented well but didn't taste like yesteryear. We've been a customer for over 30 years. I cannot put finger on it but I was disappointed. My party of 4 arrived at 3:30 so we could talk without all the background noise of people chattering. Instead we had to keep asking for the music to be turned down. All n all Del Pueblo is my Mexican Restaurant of choice but this past week the food didn't live up to what I've come to love. The customer service was terrific.

The service and atmosphere was great. Very clean restaurant and attentive server. The food on the other hand was decent for its price. Very fulfilling just not the best taste. The beef quesadillas was good and the refried beans and rice was decent. I only had a problem with the enchiladas. They seemed over cooked and the meat tastes dry. The salsa was not my favorite because I like it to be more spicy but if mild is for you then the flavor wasn’t bad at all. I went doing the lunch schedule so the price of the food was not expensive at all so that was a plus. I will visit again just to try a different dish.

I ordered huevos a la mexicana, with bacon, potatoes and refried beans. The food was barely warm, I have complained about this before to the server. The beans were so watered down they dripped through the fork. I am done with breakfast there.

Man! So disappointed in this place. I've been coming to this place for over 10 years and today was the last time. I know inflation is bad, but you don't have to rob us too..I bought a soup for 12$ expecting it to be a bowl of soup.., no it was a pint of soup. It was so small I didn't even get full. I will be going to los cucos or other small Mexican restaurant to get me a quart of soup for that price. I will definitely spread the word on your small portion and big prices.. don't go here unless you want to throw your money away.. so disappointed i know the portions were allot bigger back in the day.. sad what the world is coming to The only good thing about my visit was the host she was very nice
