You gotta come here and try it! You won't be disappointed at all. We came for dinner around 4 pm and it wasn't packed but there was plenty of people eating. There is so many food carts full of hot fresh food. They have so much you better bring your appetite with you. They have excellent pizza , seafood , wings and desserts . They have plenty of soups, fish and have crab legs to go. They have everything even an arcade area for the kids! It's beautiful inside the place and plenty of booths to sit down to enjoy your meal. The service is excellent from the time we walked in to the time we left. They kept refilling our drinks , taking empty plates away and checking to see if we needed anything. I really enjoyed eating here and definitely marking this as the best buffet in Houston so far. Excellent staff and excellent food! The place is beautiful and definitely full of delicious fresh food.
Food is always fresh and the restaurant is always clean !! Staff is very nice and accommodating !! Their selection is very big and doesn’t look like it’s been sitting there for long !! Prices are reasonable especially for the different items they have available!! Even the sushi they have is fresh !! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a Chinese food buffet !!
There was a great variety of food to choose from and the customer service was excellent. My brother, sister-in-law, and I had a great time.

I don't come here very often but when I do, it's such a good time! Really wish I lived a bit closer to this place so I could visit more often. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is always lively, just wish the cashier guy paid a bit more attention. My brother and I were literally in front of him asking him something about our check and he was just on his phone watching tiktoks 😂😂😂 Good thing the food had us in a good mood, but gonna have to drop a star and give it a 4/5! Just wish the food actually had names over it too. Small thing but it's not a deal breaker for me. Even after this small hiccup, would still come here again!
Tried 'Flaming Grill & Supreme Buffet' (big place) when they first opened in 2017 (I believe) and they seemed to be trying to get their "process" down so a bit disorganized and the food was below average/bland to almost average. Went by today (10/2019) and they seem to have figured out how to serve the masses a bit better and the quality/taste seemed better as well. I'd probably go back but maybe only once every 2-3 weeks so not to get burned out. Great selection though and the desserts area is probably one of the best insofar as buffets are concerned. The staff also had much better attitudes this trip lol. Seniors get $1.00 discount as well!
4 ⭐ - Food. 2 ⭐ Service HUGE buffet selection priced about the same as other big buffets. Wait staff act very eager to serve you for the 1st 10 minutes before they throw you crazy for the next table seated. It seems as if they really just want you in & out. Our family of 5 went for Sunday dinner. We stayed seated another 20 min or so after we all finished eating to let our food settle as we laughed, talked, & enjoyed each other's company. The wait staff had already given us the bill WAY before we were done & stopped refilling our drinks even earlier. Not sure why because they had enough time to socialize with each other & the restaurant was NOT crowded. I payed the $65 bill at the front counter & asked if they have stopped giving fortune cookies since the waiter didn't put any on our ticket tray. She handed me 3 & when I politely pointed out that there were 5 of us, she grabbed a handful of around 10 & threw them on the counter. I REALLY don't understand why they're like that there. It almost makes the 20 min drive for the food now worth it when this is such a big city with so many similar options.

We went at lunch time (1230) on a weekday. The place was empty. The food was limited and looked as if it had been sitting awhile. We were there already and decided to eat anyways. That was a mistake. I was sick for hours after. Will not return!
The food is good and tasty it’s other parts of the restaurant I’m concerned out they have lots of things that are visually broken or now working that doesn’t make the place look appetizing for example the restrooms sinks are very dirty and it just makes me thing how sanitary is the place however the food is good I do however miss how they used to be
Disappointed. Daughter convinced us to go because she had been before. The food was luke warm at best and over cooked. Most of it seemed to have been sitting for hours. Typical AYCE buffet spread with Asian food. The grill was unmanned and the raw meat looked sticky and old. The so called sushi looked like it was from leftovers. The cream cheese was warm, the salmon had a film on it, the shrimp was flavorless and the rice was dry and crunchy. I tried multiple dishes and sides. Most of it was edible but you could tell it was old. We got there at 8pm. So I had hoped that they had made some fresh food. The crayfish had many with black insides. The shrimp were all overcooked and full of poop. The place has potential. Not sure who's in charge, but they should really look at cleaning up and having food at proper temperature. They would definitely be featured on Marvin Zindlers list. We might have experiences an off day but with the way they had their food and condiments I'm certain this is business as usual. I'd rather go to Golden Corral over this place and they're really poor quality too. 😢
TALK ABOUT HUGE! 1st time I've been to a buffet this big! Even the fruit & dessert area had a full variety! The thing I didn't like is they don't take any precautions on covid safety this why I rate it at 3 stars. I didn't see any gloves or hand sanitizer. I really did want to enjoy the delicious food but was feeling nervous bc waitress didn't wear mask and the place was full of costumers.
The food is just ok. The restaurant wasn't that clean and the buffett is over priced. It wasn't worth the $20 per person cost! I only enjoyed two things from the buffet. I don't think I'd would g…
The service way very attentive and there was plenty of seating. The food could be a little bit warmer but there's a good selection. Overall we're happy to return again next time.
Did not like the food at this location . I've been to the one in long Island New York where I use to live and it is awesome. This location wont go again.
This food was not good. I got 2 plates and hardly ate any and I was starving. Before I went in just the way it looks and parking not full. This place might have been good at one time. But I have never gone to a Chinese buffet that I could not find something to eat. The jalapeño chicken was cold. As well as another chicken dish I was gonna try the hot and sour soup when I got to it it looked not clean then I could smell it and I was done asked for the check. Good service nice people. I will not be back here again. Sorry! Oh and the atmosphere was not so great either its dull and smells like water alge. Not worth 17 dollars + 3 tip 20.00!
The food was okay, I wouldn't say it was very good but it was edible. Everything that I chose even though it was supposed to be hot, it was cold. The selection wasn't very large, and nothing was labeled, you just have to figure out what you're choosing. I've been seeing this restaurant for a while but never went in, and I guess I probably won't go back, at least not anytime soon.
Having been a regular patron at the Flaming Grill Buffet and Grill in Manville, NJ, my expectations were understandably high as I ventured into their Houston establishment. However, my recent visit was not only a letdown, but a stark reminder of how inconsistent franchises can be across different locations. Upon entering, I was greeted by a picturesque water fountain which added a touch of elegance to the overall ambiance. The staff, friendly and welcoming, further made a positive first impression. Lighting and the ambiance was great. Regrettably, this was where the favorable aspects of the visit ended. As a sushi enthusiast, it was disheartening to find the sushi bar at the front closed, with the staff redirecting me to the back where the hibachi station was located. The hibachi grills were noticeably neglected, hinting at a long period of disuse. The sushi served was lackluster at best, devoid of freshness and tasted as dry as cardboard. The food labeling was another area of concern. A number of labels were not in English, making it challenging for non-Chinese speakers to decipher what was on offer. The few labels that were in English lacked accuracy, suggesting a clear lack of attention to detail. Additionally, several food containers were only partially filled despite our lunchtime visit, raising questions about the freshness of the food. The crab rangoon/wonton, a dish I typically relish, was a disappointment as well. The food, in general, had an air of negligence, as if it had been prepared with little to no regard for quality or taste. The flaws witnessed during my visit were not only related to the food but also to the overall management of the establishment. The Houston branch could greatly benefit from some hands-on training from their Manville counterparts, who have evidently mastered the art of buffet-style dining. In conclusion, my visit to the Flaming Grill Buffet and Grill in Houston was unfortunately a forgettable experience. The pleasant exterior and courteous staff were overshadowed by the subpar food quality, inadequate labeling, and questionable management practices. For now, it seems that my love for Flaming Grill Buffet and Grill remains exclusive to their Manville, NJ, location.

Walked in and grabbed a plate of food with my husband. Looked sub-par but we still gave it a chance. Everything was under heat lamps but somehow still cold. Every item on my plate was cold and stale. We were really hungry but the food wasn’t worth paying for so we left without finishing our lunch.
Food was extremely cold and old. Waitress was nice though only good thing about this place. I definitely do not recommend eating here unless you want to get sick.
Went today 09/10/2025 the costumer service was bad. Would rate -5 if I had a option. The food was cold, old and tasted like old refrigerated food. My kids got pizza that pizza was cold and hard as a rock was even hard to break it. We told the waitress she said she would let the manager know. Then after we got some chocolate from the fountain. The chocolate had black spots hopefully not salmonella. We told the waitress again she said it was probably chocolate that as not been melted unmelted chocolate does not look black and moldy. One’s we went to pay the supposedly manager which she clam se was “MARISA” said there nothing she could do because she didn’t know what was the problem. So I called the waitress and she said that no she didn’t told her since it was only hard bread. So we told her can you at least give us a discount we didn’t eat the food other than the ice cream. She said laughing well yall been here an hour so I’m sure yall eaten. She was so disrespectful laughing and saying she could not do anything told her to give us a number or somewhere else we can speak to she said that she was the person. Told her if they had a number to report the restaurant or the health department number because of the situation with the food and the mouse traps in the back that we also seen. She laughing said well you can get that number on google. Her name is MARISA. I had to keep calm because she clearly said it in a tone technicality said yall eat here for an hour but don’t have money to pay. I clearly don’t mind paying but I will pay something that I enjoy and eat.
Been here many times, main issue I’ve encountered has been cold food. Today, my family and I waited for a very long time for a specific dish. After numerous times of telling the the gentlemen to bring out the food, it wasn’t till we told management that it became a problem. The red head guy in the front who is the manager, claimed if I have problems there why do I return? While it’s not always an every time thing, the food isn’t always bad the waitresses are amazing. The management not so much, after going back and forth with him, trying to make him understand my point of view he never really understood the problem. He then proceeded to accuse me of going there before with a “friend” and making a big deal of splitting a check. Which is falsely accusing me of something I’ve NEVER done. Every time I’ve had dinner here it’s with my husband and our children. Yet, he never apologized for accusing me of something I never did and accepting he must’ve been confusing me with someone else. That is absolutely unacceptable. At the end I was not even upset at the fact that the dish was not put out, but for being accused of something I have NEVER done. Very disrespectful and not hospitable. I’m sure he will Keep an eye out for my review after i told him I’d be posting one letting people know the way he handles things. What started with a dish not being put out ended in accusing someone of something else, he claims he’s the owner, if he is it must suck having you as a boss and I hope you’re a better person with your employees. For reference every time I’ve gone I pay over 100$ to be exact I paid 112$ which I don’t mind if food and service is good.
I tried to ask the manager (JOE) about the food being a little cold. He tells me he’s going to go bring me food from the kitchen as a courtesy. I asked him to bring me a bbq chicken and asparagus and he tells me no problem I’ll bring it. He proceeds to go to the buffet mix the orange chicken And bring some from the bottom of the pan. I didn’t ask for orange chicken but he brings me a plate. And then asks me to try it. Again it’s LUKE warm at best. Then just leaves. It’s like He forgot about what he said he was going to bring me And just thought i wouldn’t notice the difference. I was very kind and polite and was still disappointed. And then explains to me how i should grab form the bottom of pan. So it’s my fault . I told him okay and was ever upset that he thought this was a solution. Mind you im here at 11:40 When I’m leaving he comes to me and says is there a problem? I just show him the review and he says i need to delete it because im lying and i quote “a trouble maker” . I told him look i don’t care about all of this i just want to pay Then he screams at me when i am trying to pay. I ask him to lower his voice and he says no and continues to shout at me. I then leave away from him and tell him don’t speak to me and let me pay. He proceeds to argue with me in front of the whole server staff And said he is going to call the cops. I demand him to make me pay and leave i finally raise my voice and make him pay me so i can leave he would not let me leave. The older lady that’s a buster was trying to calm him down but the man was too angry. I smiled told him god bless you and left.
