Usually do dine in. Always a good experience. Today, did carry out. I specifically asked for cocktail sauce aka red sauce for some of my order. Said I like lots of it. Well...guess what? Didn't get any. I got a small tiny bit of tartar sauce. I detest tartar sauce. Thank goodness the food is good or the meal would have been ruined for me. Otherwise, it was okay. Dine in has been better though. Will go there again.

I'm giving this resturant three stars because they changed their menu. Still good seafood, however, the servings are a lot smaller than they use to be. The photo I posted is how they use to be..this was their grilled red snapper, 15. 99 and their seafood platter 15.99 as well. The rice pilaf use to come with it, it's not on the menu anymore. If it were, it would be an additional side, On either dish. Now it is considered a side order ( you have your choice of only two) The food is tasty, the atmosphere is rustic mariner. They also have a bar area, that reminds me of a booth at the State Fair. For two of us, with grilled seafood platters ran right at 20 bucks a piece including water and sweet tea. This location is on the corner of Woodforest and Beltway 8 on the east side of Houston.

2 stars because the waitress was great but the food sucked sorry but it did neither one of us finished the fish was over cooked to the point that it was mush the coleslaw was old and not cold the fried okra was not crunchy or hot. I do not recommend! As well as the restaurant was not very clean there was used napkins in the window and cobwebs on all the decoration

Inexpensive seafood, but not very appetizing. My fried shrimp were fair, but not very crunchy. The fried fish did not taste fresh. The deep fried corn on the cob was good.

The worst crawfish I’ve ever had in my life. Undercooked and their supposedly spiciest flavor had no taste or spice. I would bet that they cooked these crawfish in just water without any seasoning and afterwards poured on “seasoning liquid”. I can’t stop thinking about how disgusting their crawfish was. Seriously don’t eat at this place!

boudin balls were greasy fried tilapia were dry and not tasteful hushpuppies not good only thing i had good was the white rice. service was great atmosphere pleasant. not returning

I like to support local restaurants and I am not sure if today was an off day here for the restaurant. The fried pickles were the best of the whole meal. I would definitely change the review if the food and service were enhanced.

Workers aren’t cleanly. Food was cold, and the cashier coughed in her hand and served food with that same hand without washing them. This is why sickness spreads. I Will definitely not return or recommend.

The first time I ate here. The fish is the worst I ever had. Fish is not crunchy,soggy, falling apart. Fries were put under the salad and soggy. The gumbo is like broth ,hardly anything in there. Will never eat here again.

Food was not up to par with what you would expect from a seafood restaurant in Houston. The shrimp was good, breading was different. However the breading on the fish was not edible and resorted to scraping it off and eating the middle. Dishes are not busted off the tables quickly as there were tables with dirty dishes the entire time we were there. Will not be returning.
