First time eating at IJ’s and we had a good experience. It was a table of 7 of us and they attended us quickly and food didn’t take long to come out either. What could improve is their green salsa dip they bring out when they serve the chips. The salsa tastes very thick (smoothie like texture) and has no flavor. Could easily improve everyone’s experience by having a better green salsa. Very easy. Anyways, I do wish they offered “agua frescas” that would also be something to add on the menu and for sure would bring people to come back and eat. I asked for horchata and so did 3 other people in our table and they don’t have that here.
It's a bit embarrassing, but we came about 30 minutes before they were about to close. We were treated kindly and respectfully, anyway. Fortunately, we figured out what we wanted quickly. It was made fresh and arrived right away. We really enjoyed every bite! Our server, Adrian, was courteous, checking on us from time to time to make sure we were satisfied and to see whether we needed anything. He even offered us paper napkins; something very few wait staff do (in my experience). There were musicians in the next room practicing a little here and there. They sounded pretty good, and I would rather have heard them than some of the music that was played on the speakers. Overall, the atmosphere was good. All the workers seemed content. The way it is decorated is very nice, I was pleasantly surprised at the state of the bathroom! Their prices are about what you'd expect at any sit-down restaurant. We split their big appetizer sampler. It has plenty of protein. Between that and the fresh tortillas chips (with their wonderful green salsa), neither of us left hungry. It was about $18. Not bad for two people.
From the minute we walked in til we walked out everyone in the restaurant spoke to us, we’re smiling and very helpful. That was my first time so I had many questions. The waitress was exceptional in answering them, being patient, always smiling and never making us feel like we were bothersome. The Manager heard it was our first time there, came to introduce himself and offered us a complimentary plate Sopapilla’s. Everything was exceptional. We will go back.
Food was great and our server Jaanai was the best server we had a big party for my Grandmas birthday and she was so wonderful and quick with her service! Would definitely ask for her if you come here!
I had a great experience at Iguana Jones, and a big part of that was thanks to Marisela, our server. She was friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. She knows the menu well, gave great recommendations, and made us feel welcome the entire time. The service was fast and professional. Marisela truly made our visit better. I’ll definitely be back and hope she’s our server again!
We drove in from Dallas to visit our Daughter and new we needed to eat at Iguana Joes but we haven't been to this one until tonight... It did Not disappoint!🙏 Highly recommended... I ordered Baja tacos my husband ordered the fajitas and our daughter the enchiladas. Oh and remember the free ice crean cone is a bonus!❤ Thank you Iguana Joe's for another amazing experience!🙏❤👌

Absolutely Exceptional Service from Layla at Iguana Joe’s! I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but after the incredible experience my friends and I had at Iguana Joe’s recently, I feel like Layla deserves all the praise in the world. From the moment we were seated until the very last bite of dessert, she went above and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. Right away, Layla greeted us with the warmest smile and such a genuine, friendly energy that it instantly set the tone for the evening. You can tell when someone truly loves what they do — and Layla absolutely does. She was attentive without ever being intrusive, knew the menu inside and out, and made thoughtful recommendations that completely elevated our meal. She even remembered our drink orders halfway through the night and had refills ready before we even had to ask. What really stood out was her personality. She wasn’t just “doing her job” she was connecting with us. She joked with us, made sure everyone at the table felt included, and somehow managed to balance that upbeat energy with total professionalism. You can tell she genuinely enjoys making people’s dining experience special. She also checked in at the perfect times never interrupting, never hovering, just the right balance of attentiveness.Even when the restaurant got busier, she didn’t miss a beat. We could see she was handling multiple tables, but she made it seem effortless. Drinks came out fast, food came out hot, and everything was accurate not a single mistake all night. That’s impressive, especially during a busy dinner rush.Layla also went out of her way to make us feel celebrated. It was my friend’s birthday, and without even being asked, she brought over a dessert with a little candle and gathered a few coworkers to sing. It was such a thoughtful touch, and it made my friend’s night. You could tell Layla genuinely cared about making the experience memorable, not just doing the bare minimum.By the end of the evening, we all agreed she was one of the best servers we’ve ever had — not just at Iguana Joe’s, but anywhere. Great service can completely transform a dining experience, and Layla truly made ours unforgettable. Her professionalism, friendliness, attention to detail, and positive attitude were all top-tier. if you’re lucky enough to get Layla as your server, you’re in for a great time. She’s the kind of person who makes you want to come back again and again. I really hope the management at Iguana Joe’s knows what a gem they have ppl like Layla are the reason guests become regulars. This place actually surprised me! The food is amazingly good! Great flavor the only detail is from the plate I ordered I was a bit disappointed on the cheese tostada. But other than that wow! Their sampler is good size and their 3 leches is authentic! Definitely recommend 💯.
I've been here many times before. Love their food and drinks so much. The service is always great, but today, we were served by Maria R. and I had to give her kudos! She was attentive and gave us great info about some of the menu items. Can't wait to go back!
Wife, son and I have been coming here for YEARS. Literal years. We have had the pleasure of being served and assisted by Cyrus since he was a server. He is now Manager and over the years his consistency and dedication to providing top tier service has not disappointed. Not ONCE. The level of professionalism and customer service he exhibits is outstanding. I recommend this location wholeheartedly and without doubt. I love coming here and it’s become a tradition in my little family. If he was to leave so would I.
Ivan's special was a large portion and the meal was delicious. The chips and salsa were delicious and not the oily. The staff is very respectful and the restaurant is very clean. Will come back to try more dishes.
I have always liked Iguana Joes, but I specifically like this location compared to others I’ve been to. I just feel the service is always better here and there is never a wait. Food has been a good consistent quality. Can’t comment much on their margaritas yet, I’ll give them a try next time. His Fave: Lizard Wings Her Fave: Enchilada Plate with Amazon Sauce

Very good place to have Mexican Drinks or Beer, food was okish forgot to take pictures. The Bar tender was great and served great drinks. She was checking upon to make sure that everything is good. They have vast variety of drinks. Posting pictures of their Menu in case someone wants to have a look and decide before hand. They have lot of beers on Tap too. Outdoor and indoor area to sit well. Overall will come back again. Their Joe’s Michelada was best and highly recommended( must take it without ice) Plenty parking, Big Food portions. Little Overpriced.
Went for late lunch/early dinner on a Sunday. Most of the food was good but it's just expensive tex-mex. My fish was way overcooked, but the service was excellent and overall it was a satisfactory experience.
The food and service are okay. I typically order beef enchaladas and they're pretty good. It's been freezing cold lately, which makes it hard to enjoy your food. The drinks are okay and they have a happy hour special.
As far as Tex-Mex goes, this is one of the better places I've been. The chicken enchiladas with tomatillo Verde sauce is the best I've had at a restaurant. The chicken was well seasoned and the sauce wasn't too tangy or sweet. The Mexican rice was not good, in my opinion, but the cilantro rice was decent and had a little kick to it. The borracho beans were very flavorful! They were delicious. My husband got the diablo combo with chicken and shrimp and he said it was cooked and seasoned well. The shrimp were big and the butter sauce just made them even better. My son ordered the Rodriguez dinner and he really enjoyed it. We also had the Cadillac margaritas but they were not that good. I ordered mine on the rocks and it was pretty warm for a margarita... Definitely don't suggest getting those. Overall I'd definitely come back for the chicken enchiladas verdes and borracho beans!
Diana was our waitress and did an amazing job explaining the popular menu items. She notified us what would cost extra regarding substitutions. The drinks kept getting refilled and food was promptly served hot and fresh. Would definitely come back again. Restroom was dirty.
The food & service was good! They kept the chips & salsa coming steadily which is always good with a large group. They have large portion sizes so feel free to order whatever you’d like and feeling confident that you’ll be fully satisfied. Oh, they also have free ice cream and a play area for younger kids. Good tex/mex.. and little on the pricey side. Servers are on the spot, till it comes to bringing you the bill, which is not normal for a restaurant, server kept stalling. Might have just been a coincidence, but be careful where you park here. Part of their parking lot, does not have surveillance video, nore do they have anyone watching the parking lot. So, when you get back to your vehicle and your taillights have been stolen, theirs no video, no witnesses. (BTW: 5k to replace) Don't be surprised. BE CAREFUL EATING AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! Food handling and quality seems to be extremely poor. I have tried reaching out to the restaurant multiple times and they have yet to respond. We are long time customers as this is our nearest Iguana Joe’s and we were very disappointed with our previous visit. They serve rotten food and try to mask it with the seasonings they use. Both the server Rigo and manager Belinda kept saying that the seasonings altered the color of the meat, but when have you ever seen a seasoning change the color of your food to green? I could’ve almost sworn they were serving us the iguana itself.
