Order the new Orleans Pasta & added shrimp also. Food was great & hot! Staff was very friendly with my to go order. Was ready quickly.
Been coming here for years. Atmosphere: welcoming in both the bar and the restaurant Food: always spot on. We had both brunch and lunch items today and everything was well flavored. Price: the portion sizes are large and the price is not bad. You can find items cheap or expensive. Hint, the bar has happy hours for some food items. Service: everyone is always so nice there Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.
Great customer service and food reign supreme at this establishment. The host was friendly and our waiter, Patrick, was attentive, speedy, and excellent at his job. Appetizers were good and so was the food. My favorite is the red beans and rice. Yummy! I plan on returning to try other dishes.
19 years ago my wife and I celebrated our wedding with a few friends at this restaurant. We drove across town on our anniversary this year, and they did NOT disappoint. Amazing food, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. Great place!
The food and service were absolutely stellar. Brandy is an awesome server. She recommended the Salmon with Potatoes Felix and vegetables. Everything was well seasoned and very fresh. It also included garlic bread. I couldn’t stop eating. I planned to take some home, but I finished the whole plate. 😄 I ordered my salmon blackened and it was perfectly cooked and a good size portion. I was celebrating my birthday a little early with my friend and my daughter. My friend mentioned my upcoming birthday to Brandy. She was so sweet! She included complimentary chocolate mousse dessert to go. I will definitely come back again.
This is an excellent French Cajun restaurant for most of us "regular folks" in middle or upper middle class income bracket. It's a nice small step above a standard big chain restaurant, but it won't break your bank. It's not super fancy, but it's better than most places. The food is great, the place is clean, and the price while not cheap, is still reasonable. I do wish they gave some complimentary starters, it's a minor gripe, but I suppose they are trying to be slightly fancier that way. The service was nice and the atmosphere pleasant enough. The other patrons didn't do anything gross or weird to make me wonder why I came here. This is a great place to celebrate any type of special occasion. Recommended!
First time here - had items from the lunch menu and it was plenty and delicious. Our waitress, Estephanie, was very patient and helpful as we went through their menu for the first time. We will definitely be back and bring others.
A hidden gem! I had the lunch seafood platter with blackened fish, fried shrimp, and fries. This was my 2nd visit in 2 weeks. The staff was very attentive and helpful, the food was awesome, and the price extremely reasonable. I don't give a lot of 5 star reviews, but this establishment deserves it. I highly recommend. Stephanie is an awesome waitress! Always try and sit in her section!
I absolutely love this place! I typically go once a week at least and have never been disappointed! Crawfish season is a MUST!!! This past weekend was a different experience as our waitress was let's say less than pleasant, slow, and at times quite rude...it hurts my heart actually because I am not used to that experience at the establishment. The seafood boil was fantastic and not to mention the unexpected surprise of super tasty wings! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
First time trying this place. We wanted something different and let me tell you we were surprised at how good the food is here. To start with, this place has plenty of seating and a small little patio. There was no wait for dinner time. We started with boudin balls as appetizers, and they were so flavorful and delicious. My entree was grilled shrimp, rice, and veggies. My husband ordered the New Orleans pasta with chicken. Both of our meals were very generous in portion and full of flavor. Food was fairly priced. They offer crawfish and boil shrimp as well. They have happy hour with drink specials. This time, I ordered a frozen margarita, which I enjoyed. Our server was really attentive. We enjoyed our visit, and we will come back to try something different. I recommend it.
I am literally never disappointed when I eat here. They have been in business for over 25 years and I just found out about them this year. The food is so delicious yall. My favorite is the corn and lobster bisque and the Cajun executioner. Also, the best veggies I have ever tasted in my life. Delicious every single time without fail! Plus you can get coupons throughout the year if you sign up with your email. Come see for yourselves fr
The service was on point my server didn't miss a beat. Whoever made my cocktail did a great job , it was perfectly yummy. The eggplant Daun is a must have. One bite and I was in heaven. I kid you not. I ate every bite. I haven't enjoyed a meal like that in a while. Thank you to the chefs. Give them a raise please. Because of today's crew I have to tell people to come get some.
This was mine and my husband's first time to visit the French Quarter Cajun Seafood Restaurant. We have driven by so many times. We finally decided to give them a try. We were pleasantly surprised. We started out with side salads that were very fresh, cold and crispy. No limp or wilted lettuce here. My husband had the Stuffed Catfish Vermillion. He loved every bit of it. I tasted it and it was delicious. I had the Cajun Executioner but asked to have it grilled. It was scrumptious! So flaky and tender and not over seasoned like so many other restaurants. We shared the bread pudding, which was a regret and a huge mistake. I wish we would have ordered one for each of us. Wow! It's was amazing. Compliments to the Chef. Kudos to the owners for a nice clean restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food. Diana made our drinks. We had Meltdown Margaritas. She did a great job. She was very accommodating and pleasant, answering all of our questions. I messed up the presentation on the picture with the grilled Catfish by mixing the red beans and rice. I couldn't help myself, I had to dig in. (Apologies to the Chef for destroying your work of art.) You'll definitely be seeing us again.
Oh my goodness, let me tell you about French Quarter Cajun Seafood! This place is an absolute masterclass in Cajun cooking. First off, all of their food is made hot and fresh with care. You can really taste the difference in every bite. The catfish is outstanding, and the buttermilk battered chicken strips taste like they were made right at home. And don't even get me started on their salads - even those are delicious! The Caesar salad with fresh croutons is packed with flavor. But it's not just the food that's amazing - the atmosphere of the restaurant is immersive and detailed, and you'll feel like you've been transported to New Orleans. If you are craving some delicious seafood, head to French Quarter and go on a culinary journey like no other.
First visit for my wife and I as we were looking for a different seafood place to try out. I had the Creole Pasta and it was great. So full of flavor. My wife had the grilled shrimp and fish; also very good. Shrimp were cooked perfectly and the fish flaky and well seasoned. We'd also had an appetizer of the hush puppies also very good. We even splurged and got an order of the beignets at the end of the meal. Perfect. Looking forward to going back.
The food and the service here was excellent!!! So flavorful and the oysters were delicious! The manager, Remmy came over to each table while I was there and asked each customer how was their experience and to see if they needed anything. He was super professional and paid attention to detail! I dine out a lot and I was really impressed with the service here. The ambiance is nice and cozy. My waiter AJ was awesome and attentive! I will definitely return!
I believe is one of the best restaurants speaking Louisiana style food. The gumbo is good, but if you do not like spicy food be aware that it's spicy, the pasta is delicious and the fried food is good as well, but my favorite is the Salmon. You should visit it. You will like it.
This restaurant delivered with great attentive service. Our server was on point. The food was good, but just not great flavor. If you gonna name your restaurant after the historical French Quarters, you gotta bring on the flavor of NOLA!! But my husband LOVED the crab cakes!! The atmosphere/ambiance was ok. The restaurant could use an update to its decorum.
Initially I had wrote this restaurant a bad review but I have since come back and was highly impressed! This has become one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Their pasta is creamy and their customer service has been top tier! My kids love the fried shrimp and fries. Food is flavorful! Definitely would recommend
When comparing to food I’ve had in New Orleans, I think it was just ok. It wasn't the best or the worst, but you do get good portions for what you pay. I will say it was really salty and made my stomach hurt immediately after though.
I have eaten here a couple times. The food is just ok. This time we had the boudin eggrolls, which were actually very tasty. I had the creole gumbo. It was really good. The main dish was disappointing. I had the medium fried platter. Shrimp were small, catfish was clean tasting, but was thin and the batter was terrible. The fries were ok, but not crisp. The service was good. Overall the food is mediocre.
Stopped in for an anniversary lunch with the wife on a Tuesday. Tuesdays are oyster specials day. It was 1pm and they were out of oysters. Also happened to be out of Dos XX. We started with crab claws and gator bites for the appetizer and this was the best part of the meal. The catfish was bland, the crawfish étouffée was lacking in flavor as well, and the dirty rice and garlic bread came out cold. Food was definitely not worth the time or money spent.
I took my husband here to get crawfish. We were told they were out of crawfish. My husband said how in crawfish season be out of crawfish on a Monday at 3:00 pm. He was very upset. He ordered oysters. Not a good presentation. I had catfish. Sides weren’t good. Very disappointed.
This is sad cause up till today I loved this place I celebrated my birthday here. but I will not come back. The food is generally always great. For months I have been telling all my friends to check this place out. But now I will include this as why maybe you shouldn’t come here. I don’t think this has to do with the owner who has always been kind or our waiter who has always been kind but this was Trish the “manager” just “randomly” walks up to me and asks me put on a jacket to cover myself up I was wearing a sleeved t-shirt with no bra whoops I went to the gym grow up seriously not the way you address paying customers and it’s none of your business how people dress sorry I didn’t know there was a strict dress code posted anywhere, or that you were the Faccist fashion police.
