beautiful coffee shop. inside forth and nomad. ive been here a few times and i love their ambience and the solid wifi. i think they do sell couple of pastries altho ive never tried. the wifi works on the patio as well which is awesome. it's a quiet spot to get work done or catch up with friends. i got not a macchiato which is caramel x vanilla latte and it was so freaking good. helped me lots throughout the day.
Wanted to stop to this place based on Google reviews and I am glad I did, this place is inside a store and it's beautiful. They offer plenty to choose from as well as pastries. The barista was very sweet and patient with me as I did not know what to get, the Dirty Chai I got was delicious! Definitely want to come back.
I left a review for Forth & Nomad as a whole but want to highlight the coffee shop! I’m very picky about coffee! If you see my other reviews they’re mostly for coffee shops! Haha but this is definitely my favorite espresso in town! If you like great espresso done right this is the spot! And it doesn’t hurt that they’re all such nice people too!
Vibe- This cozy coffee shop is inside of a women’s clothing store and it’s a vibe! There’s seating outside and a nice amount of seating inside. Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I got a pumpkin spice chai with oatmilk and a matcha latte with oatmilk and lavender honey; they were both good BUT of course the matcha was my favorite. Parking- There’s a good amount of spots in the lot next to the building.
Gorgeous concept store with beautiful interior design. The coffee shop is nestled within a store that sells clothes, hats (Gigi Pip!), jewelry, ceramics, coffee table books, and gifts. There’s a lot to explore, though I wish there was more inside seating. There’s a big patio as well, and the drinks are good. They have plant-based milks and some vegan snacks from Sinfull Bakery. Only downside is they give you exclusively single-use plastic containers even if you are not taking your drink to go. Very wasteful and I wish they offered reusable options.
Absolutely love cafe forth! This place is one of my favorite coffee shops in the area —whether I’m working or just popping in for a drink while running errands. The drinks are consistently great, atmosphere and service are top notch and I love that they make their syrups in-house. The entire staff is friendly, but Khi really goes above and beyond to connect with customers and I really enjoy chatting with him every time he’s working. In the short months since he’s joined the team, he made the effort to get to know me a bit as a regular customer and always greets me by name and even knows my order now! If you’re looking for a friendly and relaxing environment to work from with a neighborhood/community feel, this is the place.
Absolutely love this place. Coffee is truly delicious. My go to is a vanilla latte with cinnamon. And the store has such cute items. Vibes are great too. Plenty of seating. This has become one of the places I like to share with out of town guests.
I love this coffee shop. Lately, they added new savory items that are absolutely delicious and additional space to sit and stay. One of my to go places in the Heights. Don’t forget to take a pick in the store.
Found this place randomly walking in the area and decided to check it out. Spoke to Becca the amazing barista that works there. She recommended the biscoff latte. 10/10 will be coming back!!
My favorite coffee shop to read and work in Houston. The coffee is outstanding. The breakfast tacos complement them well. The staff here is exceptional - they know their regulars well and are the kindest people. Truly a wonderful experience every time.
Their espresso is in my top three in Houston. There’s also a cute set of bougie shops in the same building but I’ve never looked around because I’m a man on a mission, sent from god, to pound down as many espresso as possible. They sport beans that are roasted locally at Tenfold Coffee and the blends are mighty delicious. Hope this helps ✌🏻
The people who work here are always super nice! Makes a difference. Coffee is also good but prefer a stronger blend.
Recently moved to the area and have LOVED coming to this spot. There are so many coffee spots, but this truly has been my go to. Always a good atmosphere, available seats, and best service! Ki in particular is an amazing barista, he is personable, hard working, and makes you want to come back. He does such a good job! Makes everyone feel like a friend. Highly recommend this spot.
First time visiting Houston and was recommended this spot by a friend so I decided to check it out, I'm so glad I did! Such great service and friendly baristas. One barista, Angela recommended the matcha latte with lavendar honey syrup and it was delicious! Will definitely have to come back on my next Houston trip
Fancy place with a lot of young people. I felt a bit out of my place because I am 42 and almost everyone was a colleague kid. But the overall atmosphere was warm, welcoming and positive.
Coffee here was so good!! We ordered the teddy graham and the Carmel macchiato and they were absolutely perfect! Great sweetness level and good value for the cost. Great vibes inside with plenty of seating and natural light. I love that it’s inside forth and nomad so you can shop or just hang out and study. I will 10000% be back for the coffee and the vibes
Niche communal space with coffee, tacos, meeting area, boutique shop, and candle bar. Servers were friendly, got coffee on a Sunday and it was good- reasonable and better tasting than the generic coffee shops.
Café Forth is a winner. Phenomenal cappuccino—one of the best I’ve ever had. Rich and full bodied, delicious with vanilla and cinnamon, plus they serve it in lovely mugs. I love that they make their own syrups and the beans are locally roasted at Tenfold. Barista was very friendly, helpful, and skilled. Beautiful, inviting, and spacious interior with vaulted ceilings, excellent natural lighting from the floor to ceiling windows/doors, lots of seating with plenty of options for standing while you work, industrial modern vibes with wood accents and house plants, plus it’s inside a cute boutique called Forth & Nomad. Great place to go for working or hanging out. Nice location. Free parking in the lot. I highly recommend Café Forth!
Great coffee! This location is in downtown, so parking is limited. If you don’t mind walking a bit, you can usually find some street parking further out.
Friendly and bright coffeeshop in the Forth and Nomad store. Variety of seating, drinks are solid (but pricier), there's plenty of natural light and a few charge ports. 2/23/25: Updated to remove incorrect reference to the Tenfold coffe store
loved everything on my first visit great vibe, coffee and goat cheese croissant They have breakfast tacos too but they get sold out very fast. They use coffee from tenfold and barista made an amazing latte Update: Its a comfy place to work however not all tables have power outlets Bonus; Pet friendly
Wanted to explore a new coffee shop and tried this place out. Got an iced latte and a flat white and also an almond croissant; was lucky to get the last croissant they had left. Drinks and croissant were very good. Atmosphere was pleasant and we found stools at the bar, and there is outdoor seating too. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon and parking was a little hard. They have parking on the side of the building but it may fill up at busy times; luckily I got a spot someone had just left. They are inside of (or share with) a retailer of locally-sourced boutique-style items. Incidentally, there is a little more story to this...the next day we went to Tenfold Coffee on Aurora (we had been there before) and the same staffer who had helped me here recognized us and was nice to us. So I think perhaps the two places make up the same business. Glad to have stopped by.
Cafe Forth is a cafe is located in Forth and Nomad, a lifestyle market place in the Heights. There is seating inside, and there are also outside seats. The interior is cute with lots of small plants and bohemian feel. Their Teddy Graham and Not a Macchiato are my favorite drinks. The Not a Macchiato is a latte with vanilla and caramel syrup and is balanced and not too sweet. The Teddy Graham has cinnamon and honey. The staff was friendly, and the drinks were made quick. There are also some breakfast tacos in the morning. Overall, Cafe Forth has great coffee that you can grab while you browse around the shops inside.
Very neat coffee shop. Love how it’s shared with the Fourth & Nomad clothing store. It’s all kinda just one building. Feels like your in a clothing store that randomly serves coffee. The ambience is kinda cool. Good service, indoor and outdoor seating. Neat little spot!
Nice cozy coffee place inside Forth and Nomad. I got the Teddy Graham and it was very good, especially for cinnamon lovers. Fast wifi and has a parking lot, but not a lot of outlets. Definitely would come back though.

I wish I could remember the Barista who made my drink. But she wore a striped button up shirt, (if you read this and know who you are, thank you)! The vibes were chill and the drinks were good! I got a cortado, my gf got an iced biscoff latte, and my friend got a matcha latte!

Stopped by Café Forth and honestly… this place is smooth vibes only. The moment you walk in, it gives you that warm, comfy energy — like a quiet little hideout where you can escape life for a bit. My drink was straight-up awesome. Rich flavor, not too sweet, not too bitter — just perfectly balanced. The pastries were fresh too, the kind that disappear before you even realize you finished them. Staff were super chill and friendly, no rush, no attitude — just good energy all around. The space is clean, minimal, and low-key aesthetic. Great spot for studying, working, or pretending to be productive while scrolling your phone. If you want a peaceful café with good drinks and good vibes, Café Forth is a total win. Would definitely swing by again.
one of my favorite coffee spots - the “Not a Macchiato” iced is delicious. I love coming here to work and enjoying a latte. Highly recommend.
No need to go back and forth about deciding to come here. This place is really cozy and has great flavors for coffee. I grabbed and Iced Biscoff coffee and it brings back memories from Belgium, even though I’ve never been 🤯. A must try!

edit: this place has excellent matcha. Super rich and high quality. There's some cute specialty lattes and the space is super nice. Also, they have a small parking lot. It's located central to a lot of walkable shopping. However, they let dogs indoors that were being pretty disruptive, so that was a bit unpleasant.
my bf got cortado which he loves. I got iced chai with oat milk. It was okay. It doesn’t taste like chai tho— tastes water-downed in a weird way. I know it’s obvious not water-downed literally but it just doesn’t taste like an iced chai with oat. idk if it’s the oat milk— if it is maybe try to swap to sth from oatly? just a suggestion. another thought I have is they make their own mixture, if thats the case, I’d appreciate it being known so I know what to expect. some cafe does that and the chai comes out either heavier in taste or lighter. the barista also asked if I want it sweet which is strange since no cafe asks me that before when I order. Cafe Forth could use a little revisiting to the recipe of their iced chai.

2 stars here as their parking lot attendant / RoboCop is very rude. On Sunday 09/28/25, this blow hard raised her voice while threatening with towing our car, telling us the tow truck was already called. I was approaching her to ask her to get off of my car but before I could make that request, this hypocrite was gonna be heard. She also was yelling at others in this precious parking lot. Plus, she seemed to be on her phone's earbuds, as she repeated details of what was occurring while laughing. Either that or she talks to herself. Now I have fresh scratches on my car from her sitting on my car, I have a negative impression of this place, and she ruined our morning coffee experience on such a gorgeous day. If this RoboCop wants to help, she should help the barista. He was super nice and hardworking, taking orders from a circa 15 person line while simultaneously churning out those orders with no help. You think that guy would yell at patrons? She wore no uniform, no name badge and did not identify herself verbally. This RoboCop does not understand The Heights vibe. Cafe Forth is a PASSIVE / AGRESSIVE place. Passive inside. Aggressive outside. Just don't park in their parking lot! Or just don't go there. CAFFVINO is nearby and offers a far superior product and experience. ANTIDOTE is also nearby. ACTIVE PASSION is great. BHBG on Washington is awesome too.
So, we went in to get coffee, and we ordered the iced coffee with a hint of mocha. I must admit, I’m not the most discerning food critic, but this coffee was incredibly watery and bland. I’ll have to give this place a 👎🏻. Although cute little hangout spot

Came with a friend and we both spent about $8-9 each for a drink. The coffee was overpriced and watered down. Also the service can be inconsistent with the way employees treat customers. Limited seating and limited parking.
Although this place is quiet and a perfect place to study, I ordered their matcha latte and all the powder sank to the bottom due to a lack of sifting. I paid a hefty price and I expected the matcha to at least not clump together at the bottom. It tasted really milky and bland. The worker was really cold too. I won’t recommend.
$6 for an iced flat white? This was iced milk with a splash of espresso.. I do deserve good coffee, and it isn’t here!
I had high hopes for this place, but my experience was disappointing from start to finish. The barista didn’t greet me or smile—just looked visibly annoyed when I asked if the 7 dollar matcha was ceremonial grade. I brushed it off, thinking maybe she was just having a long day. When I tried to pay in cash, she replied in a condescending tone, “We don’t take cash here.” Not a huge deal, but the attitude was unnecessary. The matcha itself was the worst part. There were visible clumps at the bottom like it hadn’t been sifted properly, and the taste was incredibly off—more like whole milk with a dash of matcha powder. No sweetener at all, and when I asked about it, I was told, “Ceremonial matcha can’t be sweetened.” Sadly, I won’t be coming back.

Watered down weak coffee and super overpriced -16$ for two cinnamon Oatmilk lattes . I don’t get the hype. Oh also 0 parking - pain to get in and out
I had a very uncomfortable experience at this cafe. I came in today - a Sunday at around 2 p.m. The woman cashier was nice at first, and took my order. When it came time to take my name, I told her my full first name, then I quickly corrected myself and said “actually Lissa is okay”. I did this because my full name is often harder to spell and I wanted to avoid troubling her with this. Out of nowhere, the male barista that was making the coffees said to me “SHE CAN HEAR YOU”, loudly and rudely. This was in response to what I had just said, as he assumed I told her my name twice. The cashier then turned to him and started laughing with him. It turned awkward quickly, and I paid for my coffee, not really knowing how to respond. It was incredibly rude for the barista to assume that I had ill intent. Had he addressed me directly, instead of laughing with his coworker in front of me, he would’ve known my intentions. He had a negative attitude, and seemed to be hostile for some reason, as he even made a snide comment to his co worker when my order was ready. To avoid making customers uncomfortable in the future, it’s best for staff to abstain from assuming that anyone has ill intent towards then without confronting it directly first. The teddy graham latte was nothing special - seemed to be a bit watered down.
