The food was hot and fresh the sushi was cold and the crawfish wasnt over cooked and had a good verity
This place is great and the food is awesome . 10 out of 10 . I highly recommend.
Good food. My server, I believe her name was Jacquelyn was a delight.
Great place for a family meal! We come here at least 4 times a month. It is my 3 year old's favorite place, she even requested it today for her birthday meal! Elizabeth our waitress is very attentive and friendly! Highly recommend!
It’s an excellent place to eat. I love the food and what really cut my attention was that everything was very clean and the lady that took care of us was very nice and well mannered I still remember her name Elizabeth truly recommend this place.
The experience was amazing the buffet had so many good options. I went with my mom and my dad and we left the buffet with a stomachs filled with such good food and the cherry on top of this amazing buffet was my waiter I think her name was Daniela she was super nice and fast. 10/10 I must try again
We have been here a couple of times. Food had always been fresh and service great.
Great service delivered by Elizabeth. I loved the food and the atmosphere. My family and I had a great time here since it was our first time. There were many food options for kids and adults. Definitely coming back soon.
One of the best buffets I’ve tried so far! The food was amazing and not to mention the costumer service. Our waiter Yoismar was exceptionally attentive and his food recommendations were right on point. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is wonderful, and Yoismar’s services were worth a 5 star review.
I had a great experience at Lin’s grand buffet , the food was amazing I really enjoyed it I’ll forsure come back again, I recommend coming to this buffet restaurant because they’ll receive you with open arms and make you feel welcomed, the service that the waitress served me was top tier, very attentive, really kind, always smiling, shows that she takes pride in her work and cares about her customers she’s an amazing waitress! I hope when y’all come visit Lin’s grand buffet Daniela Ruiz is able to to attend y’all 🙌🏼
The food was great and I feel like I ate my money's worth of food.
Plenty of seating, food was very good. Great selection, and clean. Will come back!
The waiters act like they own the place; I waited 27 minutes for a drink. The food is delicious 😋 the orange chicken is so good 👍
Had a great time at the grand opening. Food is really good. Keep up the good work!
First time here and I must admit this place is so good. They have a variety of options and the food was at good temp and fresh.
I usually come here for my regular birthdays. Bodybuilders don’t eat for taste; they eat to build muscle. This is a place where you can eat a lot. I really trust the cooks here. The food is hot, not cold, and not dry. Everything is fine. I just pick what I like, something that tastes good to me, as long as it’s warm and fresh.
It's a very nice place. I've been there a couple of times and I always leave with a good taste in my mouth. The food is very delicious. I was served by a waiter named Andres, very kind and attentive. Excellent service.
Love the food and attention here! It was a super great experience! It’s very family friendly with an amazing ambiance! Melany gave me and my family the best service and made our time there special and nothing less
My husband and I decided to come here for a quick bit. When I tell my experience was amazing. We had Daniella A as our server and she was great 10 out of 10
I only come here for two things — the handsome waiters and the amazing crawfish and shrimp! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and the prices are excellent. Definitely one of my favorite buffet !
This is a great buffet, with hibachi and rib eyes. The sashimi is also delicious but they don't put it out too often. The variety of different foods is really good too.
5-Star Buffet Experience! I had an excellent experience at this buffet during lunch. The atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming perfect for relaxing and enjoying the meal. The food was fresh, delicious, and there was a great variety to choose from. What made the visit even better was the outstanding service. Our waiter Andres was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. I truly appreciated his friendliness and professionalism. Idefinitely recommend this place and will absolutely be coming back.
I recently visited the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of dishes and fresh options available. I want to take a moment to shout out our amazing server, Elizabeth Mayea, who truly made our dining experience exceptional. From the moment we were seated, they were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. Her service was great. Me and my family will definitely go back again

This place is definitely worth the hype, we've heard it was one of the best Asian buffets in Houston and it really is. The food was delicious and fresh throughout our time and they have a lot to chose from. Well be going back!
So recently I've been seeing this Brand New Chinese Buffet in Houston that is from the West coast Lin's Grand Buffet. I decided to go there. As I got closer the area looked familiar in which it turns out that Lin's is now open at the location of a former restaurant I frequented. Let me tell you the place is Huge. Offering Fresh Sushi, Mongolian BBQ, Steaks after 4pm, Salad Bar, Ice cream scoops, different desserts and fresh Chinese food. Everything was delicious including the sushi but, no Huge selection from the su chef. As far as the Mongolian BBQ it was prepared infront of me with my choice of veggies n meats. Now the meats are not frozen like other restaurants do plus its ground up some for better handling . You have three choices of flavoring Chili oil, Garlic & Fresh Butter but, be aware if you don't like or sre possibly alergic to certain sauces notify the cook cause he has them next to him by the giant wok and he adds what he wants. You pay for each person's plate and drink before sitting down and you can add an amount for the tip but, they will give you tip amount in cash so you can decide how much you wish to give your server at the end then you keep the rest. The architecture in the place is superb & so is the service. If I have a negative is that since they just opened in Nov. They need to clear out older fried fish before bringing out the fresh also the Ice Cream freezer is set too high so scooping it out takes some effort. I highly recommend this restaurant.😋🍤🍚🥠🥡🍣🍰😋
They got sushi, sashimi, crawfish, fried squids, fried food, stir fried, shrimps, chicken, fish, all wells seasoned and packed with flavor, many fruits and desserts.. Many options! Many! Options! Plenty of parking and plenty of tables. My favorite is the fried sesame ball, I think I ate 6 😂 pls don't judge. Here's my rating: Options 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Flavor 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Service 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 You're welcome
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service was simply impeccable. I especially want to highlight Margarita's service, who served me with a warmth and kindness that made all the difference. Margarita was attentive to every detail, with a genuine smile and an admirable willingness to recommend dishes and make sure everything was perfect. It's clear she's passionate about her job and genuinely cares about her customers' well-being. The food was also delicious, but the service definitely made the experience even more special. Thank you so much, Margarita! I will definitely return, and I hope she serves me again. 🌟
I can remember when this place first opened & it always smells amazing when you pass it up. I had the pleasure of going to eat with family over the weekend & it was so delicious! They have a huge variety of tasty items & kid friendly foods for picky children. It is a little noisy, but big & spacious inside. The temperature was excellent, the staff is friendly & fast with good customer service, which is important to me! I highly recommend this place & hope to be back soon.
100%amazing food. I asked the owner why it was so awesome he said he brought in professional Asian chefs, traditional ingredients! If I could give this place more stars I would. I took videos because this place is HUGE! The art I saw was different and beautiful. Manuel the waiter treated us like royalty. I can tell the owner took his time to detail the unique design to this elegant/modern restaurant.
My first time at Lin's was Christmas day, 2025. My son and I had the best time! Service was fast, friendly, amd helpful. The food was absolutely delicious amd there was more food to pick from than could be eaten. Steaks were prepared to order and delicious. So much seafood! Everything looked enticing. I'm going to have to come again and again and just choose one section at a time until I have tried all of it! Thank you so much Lin's for making our Christmas meal so memorable!
Always clean and well maintained, so many food options! The food is absolutely delicious, I could eat an entire plate of their sesame balls. For dinner, the is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The service is always great. We drive over 20 minutes just to come here to eat on a regular basis.
The wife and i came for lunch just trying to check out a new food spot and we were pleasantly suprised. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the restrooms were clean. The food was great and the variety of dishes were pleantiful. Id never been to a buffett where the veggies were so delicious! Eggplant, cabbage and the bok choy was cooked to perfection! Be warned the cabbage has some heat! 10/10 would reccomend.
Discover a new culinary sensation at a recently opened buffet restaurant. This place offers a wide variety of fresh and delicious dishes that will surely satisfy your cravings. On weekends, you can indulge in delectable crawfish and king crab that will transport you to a world of succulent flavors. The best part is that all of this comes at reasonable prices, making it an affordable dining experience. Once you taste the food, you'll be eager to come back for more. Don't miss out on this must-visit destination for food lovers.
It was a Sunday afternoon when I took my family to lin's. And WOW, when we walked through the door immediately they greeted us. A big plus was that i paid first before we were seated, and the waitresses were nice and on point on the drinks and anything we needed. The food 😋 was phenomenal, really good. Sushi 🍣 was good as well , dessert was delicious. The grill place was good ., the steak 😋 they cooked for prepared for me was off the chain. We like this place the environment was nice , the vibe was great, the service was great 👍🏻. We will be coming back again.. and they didn't rush us out like other buffets do so we felt comfortable. 💯
The food is very good, the atmosphere is also good, and the customer service is good. The only bad thing is that they don't clean the bathrooms very often.
Everything was on point. Usually the buffet line lacks flavor ordered dished do, but these guys hit all across the board. Only issues I had was a lack of deserts although the ice cream bar looked decent. And u have to pay before you eat so tipping is made awkward. But the food is excellent.
Have a little more variety. Good. Food may be cold off peak times, expected. Drink refills slow. Lady with bow in hair, serving near the restrooms did fine, but the guys serving me left me dry. Have to beg for it. Can yall do something for any stuck on food on dishes? Pic of bowl here & I put behind the counter a plate with stuff on it. Decent place with some flaws. Drop the price a few dollars? It's 18.99 weekends. After eating some, I was really selective & didn't want much because it would likely be cold. Ice cream is real & fairly good, but disgusted by food strand hanging on spoons.
Clean restaurant, friendly service, food was okay but it was fresh. The beef and broccoli was surprisingly good. Would go back in the future.
The crawfish was good but the blue crab is small and mushy...they do not have salt and pepper crab. 😭 Which made me sad because that is my favorite. Also the salt and pepper shrimp was very small and didn't have much flavor.
The taste and quantity of the food was pretty good. The lack of cold boiled shrimp for $20 dinner not so good. But there was plenty of shrimp, crab, and sushi available. Was it worth $20? Yea. Would i bring my girlfriend? Eh.
The food was okay but most of mines were cold, so really didn't enjoy it. They were very slow by bringing out fresh food.
The weekend price is $18.99 does NOT include drinks. Place is new so it’s clean but slow service as we had to wait 15-20mins just to get our drinks! Food is delicious but refill times for any dish is 20-30mins after it is finished. They have variety of choices compared to other buffet places so I guess the price per person is acceptable! Also Steak and Crabs are only available during dinner time. Also the prices on weekdays and weekends are different and also the prices before 4pm and after 4pm are different too. You can do to go but they charge by per pound. Overall experience was nice but won’t go again.
The service is far better than vast majority of restaurants. Food is edible. Cleanliness is 5/5. Andrew is amazing. He's to get a job at a Michelin star restaurant. I've never been so impressed by a waiter!
Their asian food is delicious. Watch out for their American food though. It's a hit or miss. Bathroom are clean and for mothers there is a changing station. Mostly I come here for their sushi always delicious, but becarful sushi is RAW.
This a a pretty average buffet. We did like the fact that there were more than Chinese food options available like Mac and cheese, chicken and pizza. There were many options for Chinese food but the food was not hot. Overall, this is a clean establishment and it’s a good choice if you do not want your typical fast food.
The food is salty and dry but the waiter is nice.
Food is always good. But the bathroom was exceptionally filthy. Worse than a gas station. 👎
Very ehhhh It’s like no matter what we got or how many times we went bk to refresh the food it was never actually fresh everything was always hard or over cooked I won’t recommend or go back Lin Lin you have some explaining to do…
- I highly recommend eating the friend plantain, dinner rolls, and steak. - Service is great. - Other customers coughing up and spitting out phlegm ruined a lot of my appetite and the atmosphere. - Do not eat the salmon in the sushi area. The taste is off and it's not cold enough. My body had a reaction to eating it and I held back gagging. - If left out too long then the fried pork dumpling becomes hard. - The croissants could be accompanied by a jelly option, not only butter.
Cons: Most of the food was very bland and had no flavor. I had to put soy sauce on almost everything to add flavor. The entire time I was there, they didn't refill many dishes, including the salt and pepper shrimp, which is one of my favorites. Pros: They have options that I usually don't see at other Chinese buffets. Sushi options were good. Service was good. Atmosphere was good. However, a bit too bright I think. I would not return because of the food.
12/29/25 We went back and forth between this location and East Buffet and ended up choosing this place. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, but it didn’t look like it had been busy throughout the day. Some of the food honestly looked like it had been sitting out for a long time. I was surprised to see that they offered menudo, but it was disappointing—it looked like it hadn’t been changed out at all during the day. The variety of food was decent, but the shrimp was really the only item that actually tasted good. Unfortunately, most of the food I put on my plate wasn’t very good. It came out to almost $39 for two people, and drinks weren’t included, so we stuck with water. Overall, the food was mediocre at best—just basic buffet food. That said, I’d still say give it a try at least once and decide for yourself.
I honestly haven't been to a Lin's Grand Buffet in about 15 years. I remember it was so good back in Laredo. This one was disappointing. Price was its good Monday - Friday before 4pm. They have a lot to choose from different types of food and desert. I tried to try as much as I could without wasting food. Most of it was ok a little dry but edible. I didn't expect 5 star meals but just a little better. The service was great. the waiter was refilling drinks and removing used plates frequently. Overall, it's not what I remember Lin's used to be.
This place is good for like a one time visit. The food was alright. Service was good. Place was clean. Tried the Mongolian section; My husband had raw beef and he got the butter spoon, it touched the raw beef. The chef saw and was told the spoon touched the raw meat. My husband wanted more butter and the chef used the same spoon to get him more butter and after left the spoon in the butter.
Came for lunch. Price was about average. Everything was either super salty or super sweet. The ice cream and sprite was the best thing I had here. Waitress took over 10 min to bring me my first and only sprite.
When we walked in we were told to wait to be seated. About 3 groups came in and I asked if we could be seated. I was told to wait until she finished ringing a group that just walked up. Then when stepped up to the register, she rang us up and said we can sit anywhere. When I asked why she didn't ring us up and had us standing for 5 minutes. She said it's ok with her and dismissed me. The food on the buffet was old and dry. The only saving grace was the Mongolian grill and steaks. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. $43 for trash!
Food was alright. Not too sure how fresh everything was, you do pay at the door so make sure you bring cash to tip the person who refills your drinks and takes your empty plates. Sushi was not good.
Everything tasted much saltier than the last time I was here. Also there is a special place in hell for a restaurant who puts fried catfish in sushi and makes it look like a shrimp tempura roll.
Food not hot. Seafood that shows in pictures must not be until dinner. Restrooms have foul odors. Not clean as said before. First and last visit.
The only really good thing was the cream cheese wontons. I sampled a bit of everything I could, due to food allergies for what I skipped. Food was overcooked and under seasoned. Even dishes you expect to have some spice was bland. It was overpriced. The crab legs were mostly water but you have to ask for them because they hide them in the crawfish and people pick through and just leave the crawfish. Also be sure to ask for the crackers. You're going to need them. The steak was very poor quality. It was cooked how I asked so props for that but if you're a steak lover you know a good steak doesn't need sauce and I had to use A1. This food critic wanted to try something new and sadly this will be the one and only time going.
The food is pretty decent but they are overpriced for no reason. The few times I went there I didn't really like the service they provided. I once found hair wrapped in one of my sesame chicken which I told the manager about, all he did was apologize. Yesterday I went there with my daughter as usual, after I paid for our food I ask the cashier Giselle Ramos if anyone is going to help us to our table, she handed me the fork and napkins and told me to find my own seat. I felt disrespected because I've noticed they treat certain people differently and treat their own people will high class. Looks like I won't be eating there anymore .....
Food was bland and greasy, and ended up giving me heartburn. Server barely refilled our glasses at all. We will not be coming back.
We went when it was grand opening maybe a year or so ago, wasn’t too bad but we only went for three times, couldn’t eat much since we are in our 60th. Today we went for a celebration and I was very disappointed. The entire time, I had only one cup of water and server never asked me for refill but only for my son once, and no napkins at all except the one came with fork. Food was old from lunch, (we went at about 5:30. )Steak server was kind of rude and impolite, the sushi place wouldn’t refill the sushi for another 10 minutes even the plate was empty there for a while.
Worst Buffet in the area if your looking to waste your money come here and have the worst stomach ache the only thing that was remotely etible was the hibachi and steak
The food was good, I won’t deny that, but honestly, it’s not worth what they charge per person. The prices are way too high for a buffet that doesn’t offer anything different or special compared to others. There’s no extraordinary variety or experience to justify the cost. I’ve been to cheaper buffets with the same quality. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
This place should be ashamed. The food is salty, dried out, mushy and very distasteful. The quality of the food that's being served on the stem table is in small portions. Barely enough for 3 people at once. Then having to wait on the to bring more out. No where near kids friendly. The steaks section in overloaded with cooked steaks just sitting in a pan. Smh. Y? Now the cleanliness is top notch. Maybe put the cook on that same stool. Hopefully business will pick up. I will not ever ever again return here.
The food was horrible me and my child got sick. This was our first time eating there and last time never we spent 38 dollars it was hardly any one there eating we will not be a eating here again it really was a waste of money
Maybe I went too late. I went about 7:00 pm. The food was over cooked. Dried and chewy. Tried the hibachi over saturated in oil. Fish was over cooked, crawfish overly salty and dried out. The grab was complete mush. Corn on the cob was the sticky texture of you know what I mean and the sushi was not good at all. The chicken wings in sauce tasted off however the fried chicken wings had a ok flavor. The rice pudding and the fruit was actually pretty delicious. Service: Servers don’t speak. This place gets 1 star I do not recommend.
I had a whole bug in my food and the manger (Raul) said “sorry about that “and walked away don’t waste your money and come here they don’t properly clean the seafood that can literally KILL SOMEONE I will definitely be calling the health department but please keep in mind it’s legal to be have certain amount of pets problem so do your self a favor and go too china bear off 45 they’ve been there decades and haven’t ever had a bug problem or customer service issue
Don't! Most horrible food I've ever tasted! Food looked beautiful just awful tasting! I didn't taste the sushi because it was all raw, there were no cooked options!
No service at all . Sat here over 30 minutes but no one came to my table but went to all the tables around me . Guess I’m a Canadian table, you a black table so you assume you won’t get tipped. Well in my experience that’s how you assure you don’t get a tip. Still haven’t had my drink order filled. Just water on the table but it starts at 45 dollars for 2 but no service. Last time eating here. Get a better class of waitstaff .
I came the restaurant today as the third time and never come back this restaurant again. We found that the crab legs had the serious problem about the quality which may harm to the health as it was stinky. We asked to talk to the restaurant manager but she didn't come to talk. If I have any issue after this absolutely I will sue the restaurant. Not recommend for anyone to this restaurant as the manager was impolite and unrespect to the customer.
Not great. Food was meh. The sweet n sour sauce which should be red and a lil thick was pink and runny. Crowded, not a lot passing room so you have to get creative to get from the food to your table, especially if you sit near the ice cream area. Wouldn't go again.
We arrived around 3:30 pm yesterday. Noodles dry & stale. Restroom was not very clean. The hibachi was okay. My husband tried the deserts and he said they were very nasty.. the little cakes were hard, and the bananas were not even ready to eat. They did have a variety of foods to pick from and it was a hit or miss. Our server was very polite and the drinks were good.
I really really wanted to Go and Try this new buffet but yeah… homeless person was at door asking for money and just pitiful sorry. Walking it it looked amazing! But then it hit me, a smell? Like a dirty water smell add into that the homeless person? They had a huge variety but it was not cooked with a great flavor nothing. As I went to sit down at the table with my hubby who was kind enough to bring me all way from Cypress… I spoted apprently another homeless man eating at a table and it wasn’t very nice poor guy just sorry I couldn’t with everything from certain smell and taste of food. Like a stale dirty water smell. I almost wanted to go ask for my money back. Let’s just say we will t be coming back to this place . But hey gotta try everything once. I’m sorry I was grossed out! I’ll stick to my “Taste of Asia” in Tomball!
Have been coming here for 3 years. 3 times a month at $85 a pop for a family of 4 which comes out to $250 a month. Went there today with my family. A FIGHT broke out between some teenagers and a casheir over payment. One of the teenagers throw a glass of lemonade at the casheir. He missed and it hit me. Table was wet and I'm drenched. Obviously in no mood to finish eating there. My family was there for LITERALLY 8 to 10 minutes. I ate 2 egg rolls and a pot sticker, the wife just sat down from getting her food from the habachi grill. Our server was talking to a manager on the phone. Why one wasn't present is crazy unto itself. I was told I would get 50%. Unacceptable. I had a glass thrown at my back with lemonade still in it and you STILL want me to pay 50% for 2 egg rolls and some dumplings? Really that money hungry? Will NEVER EVER come back. Will not patronize any restaurant that doesn't value the customer experience and isnt SAFE and I'm taking my $250 a month with me. Again a FIGHT in your restaurant dining room?
Absolutely disgusting. Everything was gross—every single bite I tried to take had to be spit out. Completely inedible. This was a Chinese buffet, and we basically tried one of everything, yet not a single dish was edible. There were no labels on the sauces or the sushi, which is unacceptable. What was labeled as onion rings were not onion rings at all—just some kind of chewy, rubbery substance. The smells coming off the food were revolting, like spoiled garbage. For $45 for two people, this is beyond ridiculous. I was only inside for about ten minutes before walking out. I wouldn’t even let my dog eat this food. Total waste of money and time. Avoid this place entirely.
We don’t normally leave bad reviews, but this place is one of the worst Chinese restaurants, ever…If we could give it a zero, we would, to not only save you money, but the huge disappointment of a good dinner gone horrible. Most of the food was super salty like eating a block of salt. The entrees looked dried up and crusty from sitting out all day. Plus, they advertised crab legs as their special. When we asked about it, they said they stopped doing it a long time ago. Well, that’s misleading. If you’re a food inspector, please check out this place, so people don’t get sick!!! My husband is right. Sometimes you just gotta take the loss and leave hungry… P.S. Why is the chicken yellow? It’s not curry.
My family and I visited this location and it was a very disappointing experience. When I asked two employees about Dumpling dipping sauce, one of them showed me the oil hot sauce and said that was the only sauce for dumplings. I mentiomentioned that all other buffets have it he just smirked and insisted that was the only sauce. I just decided to take them anyway since dumplings are one of my favorite items. When returned to the table I noticed there was not any hot sauce on the table so I went to look for some. When I asked and employee she just pointed to the salad bar by the dressing but when I mentioned Sriracha hot sause she seemed lije she didn't understand and I could tell it was because she didn't speak much English. When I walked to the Sushi bar a lady finally helped me and brought a bottle of Sriracha from the back. When I tasted the food I was VERY disappointed! The BBQ Chicken was cold, the egg rolls were under cooked and the fried rice had no shrimp which surprised me because every buffet restaurant we've been to has it. I tried a few more things but was still not happy with them until I finally got the Sautéed Sausage which was really good with their bread rolls that were also very good specially since they were soft, warm and already have butter in them. Also, the watermelon and pineapple were very sweet and at the right temperature and I enjoyed them very much. The service was not good! I had totally forgotten we had a waitress because we had not seen one in our are. When we returned to our table drinks and silverware were already there. Halfway through our meal she just reached to get plates without saying anything word and when she refilled my nephew's drink, she just slammed the glass and my nephew whispered to us "I think she's having a bad day." After observing her at other tables I noticed she was just a bad waitress with no personality! Pretty much most of them had faces that they were there just to make a dollar with no social skills. Not to mention the a man with glasses by the register eating while the cashier was on her cellphone laughing at whatever she was looking at. When my sister went to the restroom she mentioned the had no tissue in there so we just hurried up and left. Though the place is new, nice and clean it's definitely NOT a place we would come back to and it's so unfortunate because we really wanted to continue visiting since it's so close to where we live.
