Rockfish never disappoints! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a perfect vibe that made us feel instantly relaxed. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. The seafood was perfectly cooked and the sides and sauces complemented everything perfectly. You can truly taste the quality and attention to detail in every bite. Drinks were spot-on too one of my favorites Is the hurricane to complement the crab boil. Overall, Rockfish is a place you’ll want to come back to again and again — whether it’s for a casual dinner, date night, or celebration.

Drinks were great. Spinach dip with crab was good even though I normally don't care for crab. Po boy sandwich was really good. The fish from the fish and chips was really my only complaint. It appeared to be dropped in to cook while the oil was too cold because it was very greasy. But the fries were great. Overall it was a good experience. Highly recommend their Day At The Lake drink. Edited for errors. Should be 5 stars overall. It was good. The waitstaff worked hard. We will definitely be back.

My son and I came here for the first time today and everything was amazing! Our server, Ann, was the best of the best. She is absolutely wonderful and she really took great care of us! All of the employees we came across were very attentive and friendly as soon as we walked in the door. It has been a very long time since I've experienced great service like this here in Houston! We ordered a few different things and all of it was delicious. Thank you all so much for a wonderful meal and experience today. I can't stop raving about everything to my family and friends since we left. We will be back very soon!

We enjoyed everything! Elijah was our server and a very good one! He was attentive and informing. We stopped in for brunch and had volcano shrimp as an appetizer. It was good! I had country fried chicken and grits and hubby had crab & shrimp chilaquiles. Everything came out hot and fresh and it was well seasoned and tasty! They also had many Happy Hour specials. I had the hurricane frozen margarita and hubby had a Mojito...all in all, we WILL be returning!

We came to Rockfish for Mother’s Day with the Guels and had an amazing experience! The food was full of flavor — the crawfish and shrimp in Cajun butter were incredible. The girls loved their mac & cheese, and Matt’s ‘Lake House’ drink was a hit. The calamari was crispy and fresh too. The service was friendly, fast, and made us feel right at home. Definitely a place we’ll come back to for family dinners and special occasions!

Everything we got was fantastic! The oysters were especially great! They were huge and very reasonably priced. We also got the fried crawfish etouffee, the blackened trout with green beans and loaded red skinned potatoes (split on 2 plates), and the key lime pie. We used the In Kind app and received $20 off plus got cash back to use the next time. The maple old fashion was delicious as well.

The crawfish and crab had so much flavor. I would definitely recommend this spot if you love seafood. My waiter was awesome. He even took the time out to box up my leftovers for me. He was the only waiter at the time. I would definitely recommend this spot. The drinks were good also. I had a cucumber martini.

We were celebrating a 90th birthday party with a party of 22 people. The restaurant was very accommodating with seating and putting us at a long table. My husband had the seafood platter and it was extremely good. I had the cajun redfish with the sauce on the side because I like to control the spice. We also got a flight of margaritas. We enjoyed the food and the service was good and the food actually came out faster than expected for such a large party

We Love this place. The Atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. The Staff is super friendly and professional and the the food and drinks are Great. We have visited a few times and NEVER was there a bad time. The seafood selection is wonderful, with Market Priced Fish, the starters/appetizers are so tasty.

Came here for a date night and really enjoyed our meal and the service. We went around 8pm on a Friday and the restaurant was a little empty so we were a little nervous but the bar was full and everyone at a table seemed to be really enjoying their food. Our server was super nice and helped me to navigate the menu with my food allergy and even checked with the kitchen for modifications. The portions here are ginormous, but everything was pretty good. The only slight critique that I had about our meal was that my shrimp were overcooked but besides that, everything was seasoned well the fried food we got was crisp with light breading.

This is my second time and I'm still not impressed. I ordered the seafood enchiladas. I arrived after my party arrived but my food came out before everyone's. Which means it was a frozen dinner they microwaved and plated. I say this because the shells were hard, and they just tasted like a TV dinner. The last time I had a seafood boil that was so bland, I had to go get BBs seasoning out the car for it. The service was very slow and that's crazy seeing the place was empty. I won't be back, especially after seeing the restroom, which needs a cleaning and a make-over.

This is the first negative review I’ve ever written, but unfortunately my experience at Rockfish Grill was extremely disappointing. On Monday, March 9, 2026, I ordered the fried shrimp with french fries and corn, and I had them toss the shrimp in Volcano Sauce. I thought it would give the dish an extra kick — a little extra razzle-dazzle — and hoped it would be like a buffalo shrimp, spicy and flavorful. Nope. The Volcano Sauce arrived cold, immediately making the dish unappetizing, and on top of that, it was just awful — not spicy, not flavorful, nothing. The shrimp themselves tasted old and slightly undercooked, which was already off-putting, and the cold sauce only made things worse. After a few bites, I completely lost my appetite. The meal was honestly inedible. The only thing on the plate that was decent were the fries, which were fine, but let’s be real — fries can’t save a disaster. What made it even more frustrating was that the meal was never removed from the bill. My 81-year-old father paid before we realized we had still been charged for a dish that was basically untouched because it was so bad. He gave me that classic old-school dad look and tone, clearly signaling I wasn’t supposed to say anything at the table, then out of respect for him, and out of honor for the love of his life for over 55 years — my mother, who went into the arms of Jesus a little over a week ago — I didn’t, even though I wanted to say something. He didn’t want to cause a scene — apparently manners are more important than food quality — and I did not say anything, then out of respect for him, I held it in, even though I wanted to say something… HE NEVER SAID I COULDN’T WRITE A REVIEW 😉 Now, if I’m wrong for combining a sauce that your restaurant already makes for another dish, I’ll take the L, I’ll bow out graciously, I’ll apologize. Of course, I still want to know why I couldn’t do that, or why combining the two would not taste good, or even why the sauce couldn’t come on the side. Quite honestly… that Volcano Sauce was drenching my french fries. Ew. Yuk. Paying full price for food that couldn’t even be eaten is beyond frustrating. It’s insulting. Our server, Lexi, was polite and did her job well, but unfortunately the food quality completely ruined the experience. Food: 1/5 Service: 3/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 I hope management sees this review because I would genuinely like to understand why a meal that was clearly uneaten due to quality issues was still charged. I would appreciate someone from management reaching out regarding this experience.

If you have never traveled outside of the United States, you will love this place! First, just looking at the tables, I knew this place was going to be overpriced. Everything is very salty, and the crab cakes are not only small but also full of salt. And the “michelada” is basically what they use for a Bloody Mary. 😭😭😭 Well, I guess it’s my fault for having huge expectations. I’d recommend going to McCormick instead. It cost the same and it is more delicious!
