Stacey was awesome! Polite, efficient, and very attentive to our table. Our first time at The Juicy Crab in Houston - oysters were definitely more fresh than the Atlanta location we tried. Service was better, which made the overall experience better. So pricey cause we decided to add an extra snow crab leg cluster EACH to our order 😅 but otherwise the portions are definitely worth the money. The boil looked and tasted so good, I forgot to take a picture before we started eating! We had to take our boil to go because there was so much food, and it still tasted good after a couple days (albeit a bit salty since it sat in the sauce, but that's expected). Mixed drink was very sweet and a bit expensive so probably won't order that again, but I'm sure people don't go here for the drinks anyway. We'll be back again! 🦀

Stopped by about 4:30 on Saturday afternoon date with my gal. At first though the restaurant was going to be empty. It just turned out the parking lot extended further than we thought. The inside was bright and clean. We were greeted and seated without any wait. The restaurant was actually filled with more people than we first thought. The patrons were diverse from all cultures and ages. There were large tables for 6-8 people and cozy tables for two, perfect for date night or groups / families. When you sit down they write your arrival time on the paper covered table along with our server name. They assured us there was no time limit and drew a smiley face to let our server, "Moe", know it was our first visit. Moe, knowing it was our first visit took extra time to cover the specifics on how their menu worked. She explained the heat level, sauces and combos, ensuring our ordering went off without a hitch. She even found a bottle of my favorite beer even though it wasn't on their drink menu. Now to the food. We opted for steamed oysters for an appetizer. They came out warm with several kind of sauces. Our favorite was simply the garlic butter. I'm used to grilled, raw or fried at most places. So the steamed was a nifty change on my oysters. I ordered the catfish plate with regular fries and she ordered one of the boiled combos with shrimp, crawfish, muscles and 1 each a potato and corn. We would up splitting and sharing it all between us. Before the food came out, they brought out the full complement of seafood boil accessories. Bibs, gloves and even moist towelettes. The catfish fillets were large and thick, coated in a flour based batter. Served in a paper boat on top of a generous helping of French fries. The fillets were fried to a slight golden brown and were of good quality, tasting like catfish enough with our going overboard. I left with the feeling like I had taken care of my catfish craving.The fries seemed site cut and not Frozen. Moe served our boiled combo and even opened the serving bag for us and poured it into the serving tray. .... It struck me as much as we have crawfish none of the other restaurants that bring the order to the table in a bag never ever do that. The shrimp was perfect and satisfying, not over boiled and tough. They were pink and still had the slightest sweetness you get from a good boiled shrimp. The surprise for me were the muscles. I don't usually look twice or consider muscles when they're on the menus. In the past they were too fishy or too rubbery for me to enjoy. These made me see how good they could be. Both of us were pleasantly surprised and won't dismiss muscles again. The potato and corn was just right and deliciously tender .... I wonder if they'd let me just have a meal of nothing but corn and potatoes ? .... Everything we had that day was really good and the friendly staff made us feel welcome the entire meal. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back. I did back the food stars off to 4 for a couple of things . It should be a 4.5 but I don't have that option. ... The fries were a bit of a letdown. They were soggy and had a slightly old oil flavor. One of the catfish fillets on a scale of 1-100 on doneness was a 98 .... Ok, but another 60 seconds could have helped. I could mention the crawfish was less than stellar but it is OCTOBER and stupidly past the season. If you're expecting perfect crawfish this late .... I don't know what to say to you . While large and done well, they were obviously frozen. We know it's off season and will have to do a revisit in the spring to judge them on that. Really only the fries were a bit sub par and I really enjoy fries. These, not so much. All in all it was a wonderful afternoon date with great food and a great staff. Will come back and would recommend.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our daughter's 9th birthday at The Juicy Crab last night, and we can't say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we contacted them via phone to walking in the door, the customer service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and this was providing service to a party of 40+ people. It's clear they take great pride in ensuring their guests have a memorable dining experience.The food was equally impressive. Every dish we ordered was perfectly prepared, with flavors that were both rich and balanced. Whether you're looking for a special night out or just a great meal, I highly recommend The Juicy Crab. It's a place where excellent service and excellent food come together to create a truly exceptional experience. And the DJ was jammin! Ms. Mo and Torian took very care of us. Thanks again!

Service selection taste and price were all excellent. I've read a lot about the juicy juice and it us everything I read and more. Favorites at pur table were the crab shrimp sausage hush puppies <gotta get the boom boom sauce> and the juicy juice chicken wings. Dress comfortable and be ready to put your phones away because you are so busy eating there's no time for texting. Great way to spend the evening with family or friends.

I went in with very low expectations for some reason. And now I just want to go back ASAP. The boil was SOOO good. Cajun fries were good. The lemon pepper wings were amazing. It is a bit expensive, especially in a large group it starts to add up. But, nonetheless, worth every penny. FYI the place is freezing cold so bring in a sweater if you dont like the cold.

Always great service when we come. Staff is super friendly. Food is always hot and they bring it out when it is ready. Seafood is boiled with all of the butter and seasonings in the bag. Never a bad time when you’re here.

Excellent food, Azia the waitress took great care of us and attentive. I had a rum punch which was strong. The catfish basket was delicious with Cajun fries. And we for 2 different boils. And you choose the seasoning and heat level. The seasoning was excellent. What stood out to me was the cleanliness from the restaurant to the restroom. We will definitely be back

During our lunch visit to the restaurant, my sisters and I were quickly seated and greeted by our friendly waitress, Monique. She took our drink and appetizer orders with a smile, and they arrived quickly. I went for the hush puppies and fried calamari, and they were delicious, especially with the tasty boom-s boom sauce! For the main course, I enjoyed a juicy special served with steamed rice that was fresh and full of flavor. We also shared some Cajun fries and wings, and let me tell you, they were huge portions and oh-so-yummy!

Moe was fantastic. She helped us from the beginning of being sat and had such a positive attitude and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend and for setting a standard on a restaurant we’ve never been to before was such a great job!

We had a dungeness and a snow crab cluster with their Juicy Special seasoning spice. We chose the medium spice level and it was very good. The spice was spicy but not overwhelming. I will probably try their "hot" level of seasoning next time to see just how much hotter it us.The crabs, corn and potatoes were well cooked and the seasoning was excellent! I ordered half a dozen raw oysters and they were a good size and seemed fresh but I would have liked to see something like a vinegar/garlic sauce to add on top. The service was good but a little slow at times even though the restaurant was not even half full. Perhaps, they are a bit under-staffed like so many other restaurants are these days. Overall, I enjoyed their food a lot and will definitely return soon!

What a gem of a restaurant because let’s be honest, the area doesn’t look so great with the whacky parking lot, but if you just walk through the front door, it’s like an oasis in the desert! We had a great experience at The Juicy Crab! The service was great—our waitress was very attentive, and the restaurant was clean and well-kept. We were given all the essentials (utensils, bibs, gloves) without even having to ask, which was a nice touch. For starters I ordered the calamari, for my main meal I ordered the 0.5lbs of shrimp and lobster tail with lemon pepper seasoning, and it was good! The flavor was great, though I would’ve liked just a bit more seasoning. My boyfriend had the #12 combo, which came with crab legs, lobster tail, shrimp, potatoes, and three eggs. He added a 1 lb of crawfish. His seasoning was good too, but like mine, could’ve used a little extra. Overall, the food hit the spot, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. We’ll definitely be returning!

Went for lunch on a Friday, place was pretty empty. Service was great. Server was attentive. The sauce needs more garlic,lemon,and butter. It had so much oil. What kind of oil is unknown. I know it was oil because I actually refrigerated the leftover boil and it didn't solidify at all. The calamari was more chewy than expected. My favorite part was most definitely the sweet potato fries. This place has definitely perfected the sweet potato fries.

My brother ordered the tilapia and the waitress came out to tell him it was frozen. So he went with the catfish. The catfish was pretty good.

Crawfish was delicious! hushpuppies yum, the calamari (chewy) and fried fish (not very crispy) were ok. Went on a weekday, food didn’t take long to come out. Server did a good job filling up our drinks and checking on us.

When we pulled up, the parking lot was pretty empty, and it was hard to tell if they were open or not. It was around 5 PM on a Wednesday, so I assume the dinner rush hadn’t started yet. First things first—I always check out the restroom. It was clean overall, though there were a few paper towels and some tissue on the floor. The restaurant itself was in good shape, and there were a few diners already enjoying their meals. Our server, Ivy, was super patient and helpful. With a menu as busy as theirs, it was hard to decide what to get, but she helped us order in a way that made the most sense cost-wise. The food did take a while to come out, which was surprising since the place wasn’t crowded, but we didn’t mind too much—it gave me extra time to chat with my daughter. We ended up ordering the #10 combo with a few add-ons. I can’t remember exactly which sauce we picked, but we also got a side of their Juicy Sauce, which turned out to be way better than what was on the food. Everything could’ve used just a little more salt, but overall, it was delicious. For drinks, I took a chance on the Hennessy Margarita, but I wish I had stuck to my usual Long Island Iced Tea or just grabbed a beer. It wasn’t bad, just not my vibe. At the end of the day, my baby girl got her crab legs, we had a great conversation, and the experience was worth it. 10/10 for quality time and a solid seafood fix! Would I come back? Absolutely—next time with a different drink choice!

Giving 3 stars because the food tasted good. Medium seemed a bit more on the spicy side. Food made me throw up once I arrived home so either the quality of seafood is lacking or something they put in the seasoning/marinade was off. Frozen drinks melt fairly quickly so drink fast.

We then ordered our apps and they didn’t come to the table until around 7:15. We ordered 3 apps and it took about 25 mins to just get one app then about 5-10 mins later we got our next two apps. Our waitress told us that “the kitchen is a mess right now” not once but at least 3 times. We immediately ordered our meals noticing how long it took for the apps and which we were told “if you get a boil it will be quick” - here we are going in 30 mins later. Not a single ounce of food has hit our table. 45 minutes later - our food has arrived. Let’s dig into it: 1. No utensils - apparently they have no scissors or metal forks as they have “gone missing” or “were stolen”. 2. We weren’t told butter was sold separately- so we had to wait for that as well as a second buck for our table which had 10 guest. We resulted to rolling bags at one end of the table for shells because our waitress was running around having to solve multiple problems. 3. Let’s talk about the taste of the food… our appetizers… trash. Would never order them again purely based on the lack of seasoning and flavor. As for the boils…PERFECTION! Well seasoned, perfectly cooked in most cases (crawfish was a bit overcooked) but otherwise perfection. Would come back just based on that. We got full clusters, plenty of shrimp, light on potatoes or corn which is weird considering prices are slim there but overall flavor we were extremely satisfied. I’d like to add we had one person in our party who came late and his food was out quick. So I am assuming our delay was due to a rush. Staggered seating and better communication of tickets to the kitchen would help prevent that in the future if you are open to advice. Overall - I’d recommend if you come early or late. I would never come back here during rush hour service.

I got here around 9:07pm (it was not busy) I ordered a lb of shrimp thinking it was 13 like another spot I go to in Houston but no , you have to look at the menu the prices they are for half a 1lb which I’ll take that on me for not paying attention. When I walked in the manager pass right by me (Tory) no greet or welcome there is no host . Shay was the only one to acknowledge or greet me. So since I ordered wrong they charge you two times so 13 plus 13 for a 1lb of shrimp and 3 potato’s for 4.50 it was $33 . I had to wait a good 30minutes on the manger Tory to come back to delete the mess up my food was ready but I couldn’t have it of course until he came back . Once he came back and fixed there was no apology for the wait no acknowledgment. Although The food was delicious I got the juicy special hot . The service is awful every one was confused no professionalism it’s not inviting and welcoming at all . Only reason I didn’t give it one star is because of Shay and the food was actually good. She really made sure I was good . I wanted to walk out but I was hungry and my head was pounding . I won’t be back for awhile.

Since I got the coupon in the mail, I've been looking forward to this trip. Well, I guess I should've kept on waiting because it didn't bowl me over. The prices are excessively high here. For ONE cluster of snow crab legs, this place charges $14. They can't add enough potatoes and corn to make up for this price. So, I opted for the fried oysters instead. Again, priced a bit high. You can get a dozen fried oysters for the same money at LA Fisherman on Hwy 6. This place only serves 10. *sigh* The crust on them was decent, but you literally cannot taste the oysters. Plus, the cocktail sauce isn't tangy or flavorful. The tartar sauce is equally as flavorless. I'm not sure I'm ever gonna get around to using my actual coupons - not even for my free birthday cheesecake.

Y’all I went in and ate here yesterday. firstly , my server was new. I won’t say much about her because i understand, i am a server at a seafood restaurant myself. I recently ordered fish, shrimp, and wings from this spot, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The wings came without fries, which was already a letdown, but the bigger issues were the quality and freshness. Nothing seemed cooked to order—the fish and shrimp were bland and flavorless, while the wings were undersized and reheated rather than fresh. Everything tasted like it had been fried in old, reused oil, leaving a greasy, unpleasant aftertaste that lingered. To top it off, the prices are way too high; I spent about $35 on just two plates, and the overall experience wasn’t worth a fraction of that. I won’t be returning.

I was intentional over charged after, placing an initial order for blue crabs, when informed they were out, I asked for the 1 pound of shrimp combo. Instead of clearing out the first order, the young lady proceeds to take her calculator out and subtract the cost of an additional 1/2 shrimp from the cost blue crabs. When I informed that the should charged for the number 6, they stated they did what I asked, I responded no you didn't want to cancel the initial transaction, so this is the end result. I was charged 36.81 for something they have on their menu for 25.99 and given less food, when I asked for them to refund this and charge me for the number 6, they refused. This is poor customer service, interaction, and not the way to retain a customer. This was my first and last time doing business with you all. God Bless.

Absolutely horrified by my experience at the Juicy Crab. My family and I walked in to eat and no one at the front even looked at us or talked to us before I asked if we could be seated. When we were sat down we waiting 20 minutes, and still no one came to our table. Finally a waiter came and we ordered drinks, waiting 20 more minutes still no drinks. Everyone around us was either being helped or their food brought to them. We got up to leave and I told the woman at the front what had happened, and not evem an apology or any sort of compensation. It was an extremely uncomfortable experience.

First thing we waited outside and when we were approached by the staff they didnt even say hi or smile, we ordered seafood tray and chicken wings . Its not that busy at that time , we finished the seafood and waited for the chicken wings but didnt arrived. The moment we decided to just leave then the server came and handed it off to us. Called in an order. Been waiting over 50 mins for French fries!!! They have my boil sitting user a heater. My boyfriend & I went here for dinner on 2/1/26. We got there around 6:30pm & were seated promptly. Our waiter finally came to greet us & take our order about 6:50pm. By that time I was ready to go but decided to stick it out. We ordered drinks, our appetizer & food all at once. Drinks came about 10 mins later but we never received our appetizer & food came out about 20 mins after drinks. Our waitress changed twice without notice so it was confusing on who to call on. The food & drinks were good & we were satisfied with that. HOWEVER, by the time we got home we were FIGHTING for the bathroom. We were sick for the rest of the night & that was the only thing we'd ate that day. I'd never had a bad experience here previously so maybe they were slacking on that day, but I won't be returning.

Went here for Valentines day and my experience was absolutely terrible. My order was completely wrong. I ordered a mild seafood boil and was given an extremely spicy boil that I wasnt even able to eat. I did not receive my fries that I paid for. And to top it off, I was scammed out of $14.72 by the server Keyasia at the bar. When I called the manager (didnt get her name but she is a woman) and expressed to her what happend and asked for some sort of compensation, she deliberately refused and told me that theres nothing they could do if the boil was already taken home and if I wasnt given a receipt. Please save your money and go else where!!! This is how they truly feel about their customers and the customer service is absolutely terrible!! Not only was I not given part of my order and received the wrong order but I was also SCAMMED OF MONEY!

Horrible customer service. We sat down to eat and no one greeted us. It was well passed the 45 second standard that most restaurants have. We sat down and waited 10minutes and yes I timed it. Two waitresses walked by made eye contact and said NOTHING. Just a simple we will be right with you, or can I get you something to drink until your server comes would’ve been nice. At that point we just decided to leave and when we were walking out the man at the front asked what was wrong and why we were leaving. We told him that no one greeted us. He responded back with it hasn’t been that long and a waitress walked up and heard the conversation and said the same thing. They really chose to try and argue and defend themselves rather then saying, oh I apologize let me get you all something to drink and some service. We would have easily sat back down with no problem and proceeded to spend the $350 we were going to spend there.

The food was amazing! The customer service was not. Came by on Valentines, waited 40 min til we got our DRINKS. Never got our appetizer. Never refilled our drinks. Never got the chance to ask for our bill because that’s how forgetful our server was. Matter fact, never got a bucket for our gloves, bibs, and trash. Like I said, the food was amazing, great seasoning, great portions but I am disappointed in how long it took for us to be attended to. Either our server was hella overworked and stressed or they can’t handle the food/service industry.

We sat at the table for about 5 mins waiting for a server. We eneded up with the hostess as our waitress.. which kind of seemed like the other severs working were not interested in waiting on us.... not sure why, but it felt very intentional and awkward. We ordered our drinks apps and food all at once and they were out of boom boom sauce and waited until it was asked for before informing us. All of the servers were gathered by the kitchen, seeming unapproachable and unbothered. Our food came out before our drinks did. The snowcrab cluster we received werent even whole clusters they were broken and small not worth 60 bucks for sure. It took forever for the server to check on us and when she did we were already ready for the check. It doesnt seem like this establishment is interested in making money or keeping the customer base they have coming back. If I could give it a negative start I would! Will not be returning to this place.

This was a complete let down! I’m not sure why there are high ratings for this place. I got a combo #10 in the juicy special sauce and I anticipated so much better. The sauce was overall salty and tasted as if they put straight lemon pepper and “Cajun” seasoning into butter and tossed it in. The garlic in the sauce was not at all sautéed, it was just raw garlic bits thrown in the bag. The seafood itself was not seasoned, but it did taste clean. My fiancé got a combo in the “Cajun sauce” and it had tons of lemon pepper, not at all what he asked for. Our water cups had a greasy residue at the top. The only good thing was the hush puppies.
