Opinions de Noon Mediterranean Houston
My friends and I were extremely indecisive and asked a ton of questions and the guy behind the counter was super helpful and extremely patient. I wasn't super hungry so I just got pita with hummus, tzatziki, and garlic sauce. The pita was warm and fresh, the garlic sauce was incredible (tasted better than it looked for sure lol), the hummus was really good (I only like some hummus and loved theirs) but the tzatziki was just ok, too watery, lemony, and cucumbery for my preference. It tasted like when I tried to make it myself, edible but not the same as my favorite tzatziki from other places. I would love to see them try to improve it since everything else was so good. My two vegetarian friends loved their falafel bowls and we will all definitely be back.
I just had Noon for the first time and honestly it is the best hummus and pita I have ever had. The quinoa bowl was amazing as well, but seriously the pita is so fluffy and the hummus is out of this world.
Noon is one of favorite places to eat. Its fresh, tasty and a huge variety of toppings for your salad or rice bowl. The spicy cilantro and the garlic sauce are my 2 favorite sauces to put on anything i get there. I would give it a 10 if I could.
Noon has super efficient Mediterranean food with a bunch of options. There's tons of seating if you want to eat in or you can be out with the quick service. I'll run in to noon if I only have a few minutes for lunch and it's great every time.
First time visit for me. I figured this was just new competition for Falafel King. Boy was I wrong. Both gentlemen working today were extremely helpful explaining any questions I had. After ordering my quinoa bowl with chicken, and an assortment of other toppings, (highly recommend the spicy feta sauce) I dove in and was blown away by the different ingredients. Everything was fresh and just delicious. The prices are maybe a buck or two more than Falafel King, but you can taste why. Falafel King is fast food, Verts is quality Mediterranean dining.
Pretty good Mediterranean food. It is a fast-casual style restaurant so you can be in and out in minutes! I went during a lunch rush and while there were many people getting their lunch there, the line workers are speedy and I barely felt like I needed to wait. There are a bunch of different topping choices and options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan diets.
Incredible flavors and by far my favorite Mediterranean style food. Reminds me of the best food from my trip to Turkey. Good portion size, I share it with my wife. For those saying it is salty, it's just the style of those green olives which you don't have to add. Don't forget to use their mobile app for $10 back.
After coming multiple more times, I realized the portions were great. The first time was probably a one off. Excellent food with exquisite flavors. Pleasant staff as well and very clean overall.
I frequently go to Noon through my Mealpal weekly meal subscription service. Overall, love the food and the staff. Anna (believe that's her name), who I believe is the manager always greets me and asks if I want my usual order. Always makes my day.
One of the tastiest things I have ordered from Noon has to be their loaded pita bread with protein and fries. Remember ordering that a few times and has always hit the spot. Their bowls are also really good as well. Fries tasty as well. As someone who is a big fan of mediterranean food, I highly recommend Noon.
Delish, natural, fresh and authentic flavor... Everything is prepared fresh to order. Takeout was very easy via grubhub! Really loved their french fries and tasy falafel. Can't wait to come here again this summer.
I tried the vegan falafel bowl. This is one of the few Mediterranean places that allows customisation. Basically you can have exactly what you want on the bowl. The food was quite tasty and I felt like I had a nice and healthy meal. If there was one reason why I came here the second time was for the concern that the helper had for me; he actually pointed out that Tzatziki wasn't completely vegan as it had yogurt. Not everybody appreciated my vegan diet as much as the Noon helper did. Definitely recommend it!!
Super fast and only $10 for a spinach based bowl with lots of veggie and sauce options.
The bowls are so delicious! The shredded beef is absolutely amazing

I recently had the pleasure of ordering catering for 18 people from Noon Mediterranean, and it was spectacular. Despite initially facing some communication challenges when placing my order a week in advance, I was met with unparalleled kindness and dedication from the staff when I returned to the store to inquire about my order. The entire team, especially the manager, went above and beyond to ensure that my order was not only completed, but that it was executed with care and attention. The commitment of the team to customer satisfaction truly stood out to me. As for the food itself, Noon serves some of the best Mediterranean cuisine in Boston. The flavors and quality of the dishes were a home run. The level of customer service I experienced at Noon Mediterranean is something I haven't encountered in quite some time. If you need catering, get it done here.
I love this place. I've been here twice and now every time I am in the downtown crossing area I'm pulled here. I like the fries a lot (both sweet potato and the plain old kind), but I mostly love the quinoa bowl and the nice array of toppings. Both times I got the chicken so I know that's great, and I've been told the lamb/beef is pretty good too.
I first had Noon when they were on Summer St. but I haven't worked in the city since COVID so I wasn't sure what to expect after not trying the food in years. I was so pleasantly surprised by everything we tried, both in terms of flavor and portion! My husband, mother in law and I ordered three bowls, three sides of pita bread, plus a pita chip & dip plate. The bowls all had the same base and toppings: rice base, cabbage salad, carrot salad, cucumber/tomato mix, marinated chickpeas, hummus, baba ganouj, spicy green sauce. The three bowls had different proteins: braised beef, falafel, and grilled chicken. Both slaws (carrot + cabbage salads) were DELICIOUS! I liked all the veggies but they stood out as winners, very crunchy, clearly freshly made. Of the proteins, the beef was the best. It was beyond tender, downright succulent, and the portion was enormous. The grilled chicken was also great! White meat, juicy, nice char flavor from the grill, and more than enough protein for two meals. The falafel was fine. It was not bad by any means but we all agreed that both meats were better. I really enjoyed all of the sauces! Ordering again I'd probably only get one sauce in the bowl and maybe 1-2 on the side so I can appreciate the flavors separately a little more easily. I really liked the tzatziki that came with the pita chip dip trio, but my MIL preferred the red pepper spread. Value wise, the beef bowl was $16 and the other two $14--all three bowls are easily two meals, so I was really happy with the portions! Definitely a good option for delivery if you're feeling like a Mediterranean bowl.
Awesome experience delicious and always fresh Mediterranean food now in BeaconHill

I got a bowl of rice, lamb and feta - the lamb was pretty good but the rice was cooked poorly - over cooked and hard. Good location. I thought I was going into grainmaker but when I realized it wasn't, I decided to just try it anyway.
Well done poke bowls, good choice of ready poke + diy of course. The indoor is very spacious (it has a second deck). The prices are a bit higher than usual for poke, but it's fine for downtown.
Food is tasty. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is I've been 3 times and twice had to wait for chicken to cook. Other time I had to wait for a pita ro cook. They offered me a free soda once while I waited for the chicken
The first time i was here the wait took forever because I guess it was their first day doing MealPal. That meal was phenomenal. After that the MealPal dishes have been kind of thrown together but always very tasty.
Really good food, great choice of add-ons and sauces (I just wish they brought halloumi back). My only complaint is that the same group works on online and in-person orders, and somehow those actually coming in are considered second priority.
Very good quinoa bowl. they just forgot to give the tahini sauce. I wish they gave a bit more hummus and taziki too. Bowls are very customizable. The meat was juicy and flavorful.
Absolutely awesome ! They have really good options for base (quinoa, yellow rice and few green) and for proteins. Servers were very nice. You can choose almost 9 sides for your bowl. Their cilantro tahini is the best ! It is little pricey. But Server was very generous with the portion. They were celebrating someones birthday so everyone was served free cake ! I totally recommend this !

Great food. Smaller selection on weekends. Meat more often than not is overdone and hard to chew (perhaps just from being in the warming trays too long). Recently they haven't had their signature lemonade drinks. Overall, I keep going because the combination of Mediterranean flavors is too delicious to pass up, but if a competitor comes to town, I may be switching my usual spot.

Ghost Kitchen, doesn't look like the photos at all. I would avoid the falafel and the rice. Otherwise decent food.
I pre-ordered through UberEats for a delivery at 12:00 PM. As the food started going through the process, it stalled at 11:30 AM, and the ready time kept pushing on 12:15, 12:30, 1:00. I sent an email and asked if I could have an update. At the same time the driver reached out. He inquired about the food. I then received an email that they received a call to cancel. (I tried to call the number is not in service) The message on UE said Merchant cancelled order. I immediately sent an email and asked what happened, I said I want my food please. I sent a few emails after requesting my food. They never responded to email. They did not refund money, I tried through UE and email with Noon Med.
Food tastes great but they run out of the quinoa base and popular toppings quickly. Also, the place is a little more expensive ($8.75 for chicken) than the other lunch places so paying more for options that I did not want is not worth it. Not going there unless I have a promotional credit or coupon of some sort.
I absolutely love Mediterranean food. This is the McDonald's of that. Plenty of seating, a little over priced, server had to keep reading directions for ingredients. If things were explained better I would have opted out of a few sides. I ordered the lamb meatball special. Spicy, good, and expected to be soft. However I bit hard into a bone. This cracked my tooth threw and I now need a crown. I'm left 50/50 because if there was bone it must be fresh lamb and missed it. But the lack and rush of service overrated that. And the 1k in dental expenses. Chew carefully!

I went at lunch time, it was quite empty and they still did not have 3 of the items in the recipe for the summer chicken salad bowl. Not even the dressing. My fiend had the same problem with there being no falafel for her dish. The chicken was over cooked, greasy and there is no way it was 675 calories. Wont be going back there.
The food is fine and fairly healthy. They changed their name from “Verts” without changing the restaurant at all - same layout, same menu, same food. But they then used this as an excuse not to honor a coupon they had handed to me in that exact location, and were rude at the same time.
Arrived at 1 PM on a Thursday, but the restaurant was almost out of the pork, out of harrissa and out of falafel. I might let this slide for a single owner store, but for a Mediterranean chain to be out of anything as basic as falafel at a lunch rush is outrageous. The food I did get was merely decent, but at least the staff was friendly...
Poor service and sloppy preparation of both a falafel and the chicken pita. She was telling me that they have no more pita bread available until I pushed a little with questions. All of a sudden, pita bread was found in the back kitchen.
Normally don’t write reviews but, walking in one employee was sitting down & didn’t greet me. Felt very unwelcoming . While ordering one of the employees had a tone with one of the parties in my group . Don’t think I’d come back .
Formerly known as VERTS Mediterranean Grill. I visited VERTS many times before the change, and since that change, the food quality has plummeted. Toppings are too simple, lackluster, and nothing seems to have much effort put into it. Sometimes they won't have ingredients available that are on the board (if you're out of something, at least put a note somewhere). If you go later in the day, you can taste how all of the ingredients have just been sitting there since lunch. It tastes stale and old... I assume they don't bother making fresh toppings to save money. It shows in the flavor. For the quality of food you get, this is way overpriced. The toppings are too generic, and the portions are too small, to warrant a $10+ meal. With so many better options in the immediate area, I'll never have a reason to come back here.
Not much to it. 3/4 was a hummus. Very little meat and veggies. Felt like all I was eating was hummus. Flavors weren’t bad. But I wouldn’t order again
I used to work here so I understand how mobile orders and wait times work, however this experience crossed the line. My order was never put out on the pick-up area/shelves. Waited about 20 min looking and waiting at the pickup area-- nothing. Had to go and ask for it, turns out they had it behind the register? With no notification that the order was ready (I ordered through the Ritual app), how was I supposed to know they finished it? The lady I spoke to said not one word to me, even when I explained the situation: she just stared at me, looked at the bags she had behind the register, then handed me the one that belonged to me. Doesn't help that most of the employees (like 2 or 3 of them) were out at a table eating and talking with just one person in the back. Very unwelcoming and confusing, considering I only ordered a side of fries and a side pita bread (neither of which take 20 min to make). The only times I get good service is when one specific employee recognizes me. However, I feel like I shouldn't have to be recognized to get good service- it should be given to everyone.

Pro tip make more chicken Edit - Seems like they stopped 'vert-tically' cooking the chicken and started horizontal cooking the chicken. 😞 Quality of the product definitely took a hit with the change. Edit 1/22 y'all changed your name again? Seems like a sure fire way to build customer trust. Just keep changing the name so unsuspecting folks think it's a new restaurant.
I ordered on their website for pickup. I showed up to the weird ghost kitchen and they said they have no order. I was told to call Noon directly. The phone number is not in service. I contacted ChowNow. They also could not contact Noon to get it refunded.
Delicious falafel, horrible attitude from staff. One of their staff was cleaning tables with a spray cleaner, and then only rinsed their hands to serve food. I politely asked that they wear a glove before they touch anything related to my order, and they took offense to the 🤷♂️
Ordered in ghost kitchen hub, eta was 10m, waited 30m guy said he’d check on the order, at 45m got a text saying order was cancelled, guy never came back, left and he was standing in the parking lot taking out garbage and just stared at us…. Great service, great food, wowee…
Place was nice and staff were friendly, but food was HORRIBLE. Braised Beef & the chicken were horrible, toppings were weird and the rice was bland tasting. Was not worth the price if I’m being honest.
There is no no star or else I would have given it. Very unhelpful staff. They become very frustrated very quickly and act wierd. Their menu is not flexible and they seem like they do not care to sell you stuff. I wanted take out and they did not have bags to hold the food. The food was nothing special and still too expensive. The food was already cold and by the time we began to eat it was so inedible we threw it out. I should say there are two "noon" restaurants next to one another which I don't know how they are related but however it is, it was my last visit to this bad bad restaurant.
Nickel and diming is the name of the game here. I asked for chicken and there was just a little left so that's all I got. Just as he finished serving it they added some more so I asked for a little more chicken since I had maybe half a serving (I go here often so I know what a normal portion is). All's fine til I get to the cash register and they asked if I got extra chicken. I said no I just asked for the standard portion. They then proceeded to weigh the bowl (mind you it has rice and other ingredients at this point so weighing the bowl to ascertain how much chicken is in there is laughable) and told me it's too heavy and I have to pay $3 for extra chicken. Are you kidding me? Attached a picture so you can see what $13 of chicken bowl gets you at Verts. Never again.
This is honestly unbelievable. This is the second time I ordered walnut baklava from here & they decide to put chili flakes on it. AGAIN! Plus, not only is their chili flakes on it this time, there’s something white as well (which gives me the impression that it’s spoilt). The person who does these order should know what exactly they’re serving to people & to not put chili flakes on sweet items. Nobody responds to their emails or their phone calls. Plus, half the ingredients in this pita sandwich is spoilt. Unbelievable. Never ordering from here. It’s a shock that this place has a 4 on 5. They deleted my review from Uber Eats, hence I had to post it here.
Gave me 2 x the wrong order and now I'm stuck with inedible slop.

First time i order from them and i regretted. Rice was bad test like been there 3 or 4 days old.food meat chicken and meat ball very very salty. Make my tongue burnt. If i can i will report them to food health services
Got our entire order wrong, argued with us despite us having receipts with exact detailed order items, missing items, spent an extra hour on site getting items corrected. And they wouldn’t let us use the restroom. Edit: come to figure out, they served us meat hidden in a salad and we don’t even eat meat. This is already after the salad was re-made once. Top tier incompetence, the worst food experience I have ever had in my life.
It looks fancy restaurant. But food quality is not good at all. Felt like eating rice prepared couple of days old. Ordered bowl of falafel. It was worst ever. Hopefully Management will take some good action on it. -Thanks!
A few of my coworkers and I attempted to try this place out due to the reviews that have been posted. However, we decided to leave shortly after. While standing in line one of the workers were seasoning and mixing a big bowl of chicken with her BARE hands. No gloves but bare hands. We all were on the same page that Noon was not for us, to see her doing that in the open with several customers looking upon. I only imagine what they are doing when others are not looking.
