Opinions de Postino Montrose Houston
Great Sunday brunch spot. Awesome selection of wine. Large outdoor seating area.
Quaint Place for wine and snacks that can make it your dinner..... As you can see from my photo and video, the food presentation is awesome as well as the taste... Service was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining the menus and specials... Give this place a try, Indoor and Outdoor Dining is available, parking lot available...
Very pleasant outdoor dining experience here. The extensive wine menu is really appreciated by a wino like me! Additionally, the fact that it's so walkable to the Montrose bars makes Postino an ideal way to start a Sunday Funday. Finally, dog lovers are welcome, so bring your (leashed) furry friend to brunch!
The surprise of expecting something good and getting something absolutely delightful is always hard to beat. The bruschetta boards are to die for, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere is top notch. Even the general manager came by our table to make sure everything was good. Get in to try this place before there is a perpetual long wait.
I would just like to say this is my first time at this location, usually go to the Heights location, and the atmosphere here is just great! As soon as I had taken my seat a server, I think his name was Chris, was almost immediately at my table to take my drink order. He was very knowledgeable on what wines may pair well with the food I was thinking of ordering. I ended up taking his suggestion and he was right! I also had a cocktail after my meal, didn’t know they started selling them but I’m not complaining, the bartender Drea was absolutely delightful she was patient with me while deciding what I wanted to order. I ended up getting an old fashioned and it was probably one of the best ones I have gotten. Overall, my night at the Montrose Postino location was amazing and will be returning to this location more often!! Chris and Drea y’all were great!!!
Some days, making adult decisions includes the decision to day drink, or not to day drink. This particular day, I opted to day drink! I had a glass of prosecco which really hit the spot! We started with the Table Cheese. I thought it was great but for whatever reason, the husband didn't care for most of it (odd, since he is the cheese lover more so than I), so I found myself devouring it all! I have no regrets either. As I ate almost all of the cheese board, I opted to have the skewers for my meal. These were fantastic! one beef and one chicken in a garlic yogurt ... I would order this again and again and again. As it was literally 11 am when we arrived, we parked curbside and got to enjoy a quiet lunch. Very chill vibe IMO.
Great gluten-free options. All of their board bruschettas and panini’s can be gluten-free. The French toast was so good. Possibly the best French toast I’ve ever had (gf). The turkey panini had great flavor with the pesto. The gluten-free ciabatta bread was a bit much. They don’t press the panini’s for gluten-free.
My closest seven friends and I go to all a different Postino’s once a month and spend 6+ hours. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the company of great friends.
Good Italian style with great wine and beer We was there for dinner and my friend tried different kinds of wine and they were happy with that For dinner we got couple of small plates Bruschetta was really delicious Ceaser salad and side was good For dessert we got Crème brûlée and that was great.
POSTINO Montrose is a charcuterie style eatery where Houston’s nightlife/young professionals/hipsters/hollister models/ foodies/ upper-crust come to socialize, drink, and eat in share style entreés. They have Happy Hour as well on wine until 5pm as well, just word to the wise. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they range from absolutely beautiful waitresses to hip dudes. Never came off as pretentious or judgmental which is the key to my enjoyment. I come from a background of political crusty punk and elite black metal so more often than not, even at my ripe old age, I still get treated like shit at times. None of that was here, and I really liked that. The food at first glance seems ridiculous and borderline goofy at first, but if this is how you also feel sitting at the table right now, relax. Trust the process and order what comes natural to you and I promise you will enjoy it. Get what they are known for: the four choice board, it’s not only tasty but the bold flavors don’t clash they greatly compliment each-other exceptionally well. The prices are mid range and honestly not too bad at all. It was myself and my wife and we ate, very well I might add, for 80 including multiple drinks. It’s located in the gentrified heights/Montrose area I like what I see forming over there to be honest. It’s a really eclectic smorgasbord of businesses that do well to set themselves apart from even the swankiest of areas like Palm Springs, CA or the ilk. What’s the bottom line? Go eat here if you are taking the time to read this review, find out for yourself, and make it a habit. Get out of your routine and comfort zone and give smaller businesses your patronage, support, and the chance to grow and thrive in a volatile market and world in general. Live dangerously & sin deliciously!
Good food, pleasant staff- happy hour special on beer and wine, and they came round to make sure you got a last order in. Whilst the food was good, I would never describe the dish sold as bruschetta as that- it was very nice- but not toasted bread, no oil no garlic! However- strong recommend :)
So I took my cousin, who came into town from Austin here before worship night in 3rd Ward at Nations House of Prayer. We were there for a while, and our server was amazing! We got a quaint little corner spot that was super comfortable, and despite it being really busy due to happy hour - we were immediately seated and so well cared for the entire time. It was very cozy and the perfect place to hang out and catch up on everything. We enjoyed an appetizer of their meatballs with goat cheese and they were soooooooo yummy! The perfect amount for 2 people to share. Then we had the a small plate each - she had the gulf shrimp which she said was incredibly good & I had the grilled cheese with tomato soup. It was all so good and very reasonably priced. Neither of us drink but they had great wine and drink deals for Happy Hour and they have tons of indoor and outdoor seating. It was threatening to storm so despite how much we wanted to kick it in the outdoor area (it’s super chill & really fun) we chose to play it safe indoors. DEFINITELY a GREAT place for a date, a night out with friends or really for an anytime anything. I will say they only have small plates, but that’s super fun because the prices are so good you can try several of the items and, if the 3 we tried are any indication; they’re all worth getting to munch down on!
The food was amazing and they have great wine selection!! I will definitely be coming back here again.
So excited Postino opened this location in Montrose! Great patio and excellent food and service for lunch. Bonus - all wine by the glass, including Bubbles, is $5 til 5pm. Love their half & half combo options. I got the Grilled Chicken & Mozzarella Panini and Tomato Basil Soup, while my daughter got the Tuscan Tuna on Focaccia and a Caesar Salad and both were delicious. Didn’t have a Board this time, but have in the past, and they are fantastic. The Crispy Cauliflower is also one of my favorites. Can’t go wrong no matter what you order here.
Fabulous spot for brunch, dinner, or anything in-between. This time we sat outside in the evening and it wasn’t too hot. Our server Alyssa was wonderful, she actually was super engaging and helped us customize our order with the chef, so thanks for that - I appreciate it!! I will say it’s a little dark inside….
Perfect if you love wine, cheese, and bread! Good brunch place. We ordered - Postino's Bruschetta Board - Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato, & Basil - Warm Artichoke Spread - Sweet N' Spicy Pepper - Salami & Pesto It was extremely filling and perfect for just the two of us! They have space heaters outside when it gets cold.
This little eatery has such a cool vibe, perfect for any occasion. The wine and beer selection is seriously impressive, something for everyone. Imagine popping in for a quick lunch or a romantic evening date. The music they play always sets the right mood. It's definitely a spot you'll want to check out again and again.
Postino has been on my list for a while so a Saturday lunch in Montrose on a sunny day was a treat. The red brick building kept it's charm on the outside while the modernization on the inside makes it comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. There's nice touches like MC Hammer signs and alcove booths that give this place a fun, relaxing vibe. Even without all that, $5 craft beer pitchers are enough to get me in the door. The charcuterie boards were fresh, varied and most importantly, incredibly tasty. I highly recommend the apple and fig bruschetta. After tip and tax, the check came to $57 for two.
Postino Montrose exceeded all my expectations! The bruschetta was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The cheese plate was equally impressive, offering a perfect balance of variety and quality. Having been to similar restaurants with a small plates concept, I can confidently say that Postino stands out for both taste and portion size. The flavors were far superior, and the portions were generous without compromising quality. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend Postino Montrose for anyone looking for a fantastic Italian dining experience. I can’t wait to come back!
Jaz was phenomenal. Honestly, she is one of the best and most personable waitresses I have ever had. I recommend this place because of her charismatic personality.
Does not disappoint! I had the the half Brussels sprouts salad and half the chicken panini! Both items were delicious and so filling! Could not finish both of them and I have a good appetite! I forgot to mention I had the cauliflower appetizer and it was also great! A very different and unique taste with the orange red salsa and the raisins to go along with it.
First time at Postino’s chose the Montrose location. Another date night must say I’m one for ambiance and it being a former bar The Mining Company brought back lots of memories they even have a wall commemorating The Mining Company which just added to ambiance of the well decorated restaurant. We had the Chefs Charcuterie Board as well as the Bruschetta . We were able to choose 4 different types of Bruschetta. The food was amazing, so fresh and beautifully plated. Wait staff was informative and kind, very friendly. If you like charcuterie boards or Bruschetta this is the place to come. A wide variety of wine tho I didn’t have any this time around but I assure you I will be back. Great menu, this is the place I will be coming back to and working myself thru this whole menu. The food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. So I highly recommend y’all trying this place out. My date enjoyed the food also and has agreed to return with me to Postino’s
A friend and I enjoyed a nice casual Sunday brunch. Complete with unique menu items, craft cocktails and a nice bottle of Italian Moscato. We chose to sit at the bar which, was very comfortable. Our bartender, Patrick provided excellent service. Postino has a very upscale yet casual atmosphere. I will definitely be returning.
Simple and relaxing environment at 12-2ish on a Wednesday, sat at the bar and service was prompt but not overbearing which was perfect for dinning alone. Ordered the smoked salmon and loved the two types of bread offered on the side; also had the blackberry smash, substituting the standard green tea for black tea. If you have a smaller appetite or just eat smaller meals overall this was the perfect amount of food. Finished feeling much fuller than I expected and took the rest of my food to go. Photos are a but blurry since they are screenshots from a video.
Romance is in the air 😍😍 this is one of my favorite places in the city to grab a glass of wine and share tapas. Service was very speedy and friendly. The food was good. The parking was very easy as well. My favorite thing about Postino really is the ambiance. I picture a great first date opportunity here or even a few glasses of wine with old friends
Service is good, but not amazing even when it’s relatively slow. Managers often come by to check on customers to make sure everything is alright, as well as other staff members. Food is great, often having drinks specials for wine. Has an excellent patio that is dog friendly. They are trying to take Precautions during Pandemic, although people are a little closer together then I feel comfortable with on the patio. I guess because it’s out door area and they feel safer. A definite place to check out when in Montrose.
I'm not a big wine drinker but I appreciate the concept of this place. Don't expect to walk out full off just one board. My favorite so far is the TABLE CHEESE, made with whipped ricotta & calabrian honey, d'affinois brie with fig jam, creamy cambozola & honey, walnut, crostini, lavash bread. Keep in mind it's a wine cafe so don't make a fuss when you try to order an Old Fashion and you get the side eye from your wife 😂 It is definitely a unique spot and well worth a try.
Had the BEST experience with our server Reid, he gave thoughtful conscious service. Asked us questions and made sure that our special night out was extra special. Fantastic wine list, can’t wait to go back for more.
Great atmosphere, good food. I went there for dinner and the atmosphere is very cute and romantic. They have candles lit on the table and dim lights. The food itself is more of a fusion that authentic Italian but it's very good. The bruschetta board was very good although the bread was a little softer than I had before. The panini on focaccia bread was very good. The portions are huge and if you're drinking then you might not be able to finish your food. There's also outdoor seating available if you want to sit outside and if it isn't too hot. Overall a very good place and reasonable pricing for the location.
Overall great experience! As a 1st timer me & my spouse were impressed. Great clean food and environment. Awesome music. Pleasant staff. And when we were unsure our waitress staff gave us clarity and even allowed us to sample the wine of our choice to better help us decide. Just a great experience and we will be back! Thanks Drea & Andrew! They all rock! ♥️♥️♥️
I love Postino always would go to the one at Heights. This time had the chance to Try this location out. We love the boards! Love that dogs are allowed. Staff and service as always was amazing. Food was delicious so what else can someone ask for? If you are looking for a causal spot to chill, relax and enjoy this is your spot.
Great gem in the middle of Montrose. Fantastic wine selection and one amazing deal on Sunday...5 till 5. Which means $5 pitchers of any draft, any wine by the glass was $5 and some mimosa deal that I didn't know the specifics of. We ate 4 dishes and each was VERY tasty. Service was incredible and James our Sunday server at the bar was absolutely wonderful. Without fail get the roasted whole head of cauliflower with grapes and capers with a yummy orange sauce. We also got the bruschetta with mushrooms and olive oil on gluten free bread. Incredible!!!! Had a glass of Grenache from Spain that was fantastic...$5 on Sunday... great vibe in the heart of once was the mecca of gay Houston.
This place has such a charming atmosphere! Both the food and the brownie dessert were absolutely delicious. I plan on coming back soon!
Had a fantastic experience at Postino. Our server Alyssa was incredible. She convinced me to try a new menu item I was a little hesitant about, and it was 100% worth it. This isn’t the first time I’ve had her as a waitress, and she’s consistently amazing. Super kind, attentive, and she makes the entire experience enjoyable without ever feeling overbearing. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere, good music, and great people. I will absolutely be back and I’m hoping Alyssa is my server again.
We came for happy hour which is $6 glasses of wine before 5pm. The wine options are fantastic and there is an option for everyone. We also got a bruschetta board (the apple, Brie and fig is the best!) and we also got the meatballs and cauliflower. Service was pretty good and there is a small parking lot but there is street parking available as well.
Amazing wine selection, delicious food, and a cozy vibe that keeps us coming back. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a long day at work. Their happy hour is such a treat and a great way to sample different wines by the glass. The selection of wine bottles and bruschettas are delicious and surprisingly affordable.
Great food, delicious drinks and great value for money (especially happy hour). if you're in need of a quick bite to eat, the bruchetta is very tasty. I'll definitely be back to try my way through the wine menu! Very knowledgeable servers too. Can't fault this place!
Service was fantastic, great wine list and the bruschetta board always kills it. This was a great first night out after having my baby. The manager stopped by our table and was super nice, I don’t remember his name, but appreciated feeling so well taken care of on a special night!
We had the opportunity for a very rare date night recently. When making the reservation, I put a note stating that, and if there was anything they could do to make it a little more special, we would appreciate it, but understood if they couldn’t. When we arrived, we were seated at a table tucked away from the rest of the crowd. After being greeted, the manager (I believe?!) brought us two glasses of champagne and a card signed by the entire staff! It made our night (and made me look great because my wife had no idea!)! The service was excellent, the food was DELICIOUS (I never realized a chicken panini could be so AMAZING), and the atmosphere was perfect! Thank you for an unforgettable date night, we will definitely be back!
Great place for some upscale bites! Bruschetta board for the win!! Apple, Brie and fig was an awesome setup. The burrata, bacon and tomato was excellent as well. Chefs choice was Strawberry Cheesecake and was amazing. The mozzarella, tomato and basil was kinda blah next to the rest. Panini’s were hit and miss. The prosciutto and Brie on focaccia was great!! Got that one with the house salad, which was tasty. The Italian beef dip was tasty so long as you didn’t dip it. The au jus was like liquid salt. The Italian however could keep up with the prosciutto and Brie, which was the clear winner today. The staff was friendly and took good care of us despite a couple of large parties on the patio. Went about 4.45 on a Sat so we were able to get in and out without a crowd and immediately able to sit inside. Will be back.
The vibe is right. I’ve enjoyed this placed in the evening and late afternoon with equal enjoyment. It has light & tasty bites, a good wine selection, and some simple and delicious cocktails. Today we enjoyed two orders of the bruschetta boards to sample most of the options—my favorite was the fig spread, Brie, and apple slices—give that a try. We also had mescal margaritas, I ordered mine with tequila—simple, beautiful, delicious. Donut bites were nice and served with three dipping sauces. The service was great and the atmosphere is chill with a variety of different people. Been there before, would go back again.
First time at this location. The bruschetta board was delicious and innovative. Love being able to choose 4. Service was a great team effort and friendly. Our entire meal was unique and tasty. We definitely over ordered but had leftovers for later. My only complaint were the flies. The side patio was open and I imagine its the heat driving them indoors. There were many and they harassed us during our meal.
We returned because we like the food so much here. Good selection of wine. Great ambience. This time we ate outside in late September. It was nighttime so it was OK. Excellent service, the manager was outstanding. It was my birthday and he treated us to desserts! We will return again. The sandwiches were huge and delicious, we could only eat half of it, but we did have the bruschetta board, which is outstanding, and a bottle of wine. I highly recommend this place. Excellent atmosphere for a date, get together with friends, or family! It is a bit dark at night. But it’s nice.
Very nice wine/bar/restaurant! Had a great time with friends. It was a tad bit noisy. Maybe that's the great wine recommendation & in house made cider. Lol. I tried their new cider. Very crisp and refreshing to taste. Now this is the best chicken salad that I've ever tasted! The raspberry dressing has the most flavor ever! I could eat this daily! I tried to get a better pic of the menu but it's very dark inside. Nice intimate vibe. Candle lit ambiance, and very friendly staff.
Had a very nice bruschetta board here with super interesting flavors and toppings
My friend took me for my birthday. The rose is delish!! And it was $6 for happy hour. I got the chicken and mozzarella panini with potato soup it was really good. Def want to try another panini for sure! The service quality depended on who was helping about overall they were great, accommodating and kind. I definitely will come again.
Who loves bruschetta?! This is the perfect shareable aperitivo for your weekend brunch! Head to Postino to munch on these delicious bruschetta combos and colorful and fresh olives. The board is the pick 4 with 1. Brie, apple, and fig spread, 2. Fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil, 3. Burrata, bacon, arugula, and tomato, and 4. Ricotta, dates, and pistachio! My favorite was the last one, I'm a huge pistachio fan! They made for the perfect appetizer for our table of 6! You can add more to this too, I was tempted to try all of the combinations! :) Ps - they have a lovely outdoor, covered/shaded area which makes for a very enjoyable afternoon sipping some rosé or white wine on a hot summer afternoon! Only complaint was the music was blaring loud and I could barely hear the people at my table.
I went two days in a row and had a good time. Happy hour is a great deal for wines. There’s a nice selection. I had two of the salads and they were so good and a great mix of flavor. The grilled cheese app is delicious. The creme brûlée is perfectly baked. The service was mostly ok but there were so many times at each visit where we were looking for our waiter because they weren’t around for a long time. But the staff is friendly.
Trendy brunch spot with an outdoor patio. I tried the spicy Bloody Mary which is minimally garnished but perfectly seasoned. I ordered the Chef's Charcuterie board and it could easily feed 2 as an entree or as a group appetizer. It has a very trendy casual feel in general. The location was vibing. I definitely recommend visiting if you are in the Montrose area.
We came on a Tuesday where you can get a bottle of wine and a board for $25. The food is good. It’s a little different. But I enjoyed it. The wine was really good though. The service is different though you get kind of like different type of waiters I think like three people waited on us, which was kind of weird. Because we didn’t know which person to ask when we needed stuff. Also, if you’re coming in here, just know to bring a jacket cause it’s freezing I was so cold. Other than that I had a good atmosphere.
My second time at Postino and the service like always was great. Love coming here because of the cozy ambiance. A great place to come if you want to grab a bite to eat, have a glass of wine, by yourself or with other people. We ordered a bruschetta board, which it allows you to choose four options. We chose the Fresh Mozzarella with Tomato & Basil, Smoked Salmon & Pesto, Sweet & Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese and the Salami & Pesto. The Crispy Cauliflower was very good. It was pan roasted and set on top of romesco sauce, sultana raisins and capers. The Meat balls and Goat Cheese was delicious as well and enough to share between two people especially if ordered with other items to share. For wine we ordered the 2020 Costa red blend from California which is a nice semi sweet wine.
The food and wine selection is amazeeeee!! I absolutely adored it especially during brunch/ happy hour<3 they even do a pop up at the farmers market that allow you to try free samples of their wine! Definitely worth checking out!
So excited this Montrose location opened!! I've been both on a Wednesday late evening and a Sunday early evening. This area of Montrose is popping on a Sunday afternoon/early evening - just a heads up if wanting to self park. Parking: decent amount of street parking was available on Wednesday evening, but on Sunday I had to park a few blocks away and walk. Service: friendly staff. There isn't technically one server assigned to your table (multiple wait staff help out), which can be kind of confusing. But everyone is pretty attentive. Ambience: This location is much more spacious (including a nice large bar area) than the Heights location. The outdoor patio is covered and sizable as well. We didn't have to wait for a table on either evening, thankfully (they don't take reservations). Great ambience with the interior lighting, cozy decor, variety of booth and table seating options. Food/drinks: The bruschetta boards are easily shareable between 2 people - $15 for 4 delicious, sizable pieces - a good deal in my opinion as we were full from that alone! I've also had the raspberry chicken salad. I was expecting slices of chicken on top of the greens, but it was a mayonnaise-based chicken salad (bland taste by itself - needs a little jazzing up in my opinion) with the greens on the side. When everything was mixed together with the raspberry dressing, it came together decently (and not bad for $11). Good selection of wine as well. On Sunday, I took advantage of the happy hour special - $5 glasses of wine and beer (EVERY DAY) till 5pm. Can't wait to come back for the $25 bottle + bruschetta board deal! Excellent addition to the Montrose neighborhood!
It’s a 4.5 for me but not quite a 5. Service was good, ambience really nice and great outside seating when the weather is good. It’s also Dog friendly. Great win specials $6 a glass before 5 and good selection. Food is also really nice however in some of their sandwiches they are using cold cut meat now which is a bit of a downgrade from before.
The establishment offers a visually appealing setting and acceptable cuisine, making it suitable for brunch or drinks. However, during our recent experience, the service was notably inattentive, leading to an unsatisfactory dining experience; consequently, we elected to seek alternative accommodations.
Everything from the food from our original server was great The only thing I didn't like was one other people that did give us our food I can't remember who she was she just seemed a bit snooty and she kind of gave me the feeling that she looked down on us and I didn't appreciate that other than that amazing experience I'm not sure if it was because of us or whatever the case is but I would go again I just didn't care for that part of it.
I’ve found that lately, Postino’s has been a recent favorite of mine. So while I was out yesterday I decided to visit a different location (because it was closer) for a lite bit. I literally order the exact dishes ever. The chicken and chili was absolutely delicious, however, the SWEET N' SPICY PEPPER JAM & GOAT CHEESE from the bruschetta board option didn’t taste as amazing as it normally does. The bread seemed a bit stale unfortunately. Apart from that, the customer service was top tier and I truly enjoyed the Blackberry drink!
Had a lovely brunch here with some friends. I ended up ordering the bruschetta board and it was delicious!! They also had a really good prickly pear drink and customized it for us with black salt and tajin on the rim. This is the perfect place to come and have some upscale bites and drinks with your girls. The staff was so helpful and very welcoming. Our waitress was very patient; she went over the menu together with me to find something I could eat since I have some dietary restrictions and the end result was delicious!! Will definitely be coming back in the future.
Came in the 4th of July for a quick bite and drink. Really enjoyed the veggie sandwich and grilled cheese & tomato soup. The espresso martini was on point. My husband was not a big fan of the aperol spritz and that was his own fault as he was not familiar with the drink itself .. he was being adventurous and trying something new. He was a trooper and finished it though. I think there's a parking lot next to the restaurant but we found street parking which there's plenty in the area. The vibe was nice and service was good with friendly staff.
Decent experience. Food was delicious, really fantastic. Server was great and kind. Reasonable prices. The guy who refilled our water and brought our check was a bit awkward and he ended up splitting our check incorrectly, which was only a few dollars off and not a big deal, but still a slight annoyance. There were a few flies that kept bugging us throughout our meal which was a bit odd as we were inside. Atmosphere is nice though and it’s a good vibe inside. No major complaints, only a few critiques.
I visited here June 27th and my indoor table was riddled with flies. Our entire experience consisted of my party having to swat flies away which led me to believe the kitchen is probably dirty. Although the food and service were good, I won’t return to this location due to the amount of flies.
The drinks were just ok, the food was just ok. The location in the heights I feel has a better representation of the food they are trying to put out. That being said, it's a great spot to hang out and enjoy the great weather and have a drink. I love the bar and outdoor area and they did a great job on the interior decor.
POSTINO MONTROSE Not bad. Better location than food. Although the wine is great. PARKING Not the best. Sometimes strange characters are lurking around. Street parking isn't well lit. ATMOSPHERE This location in particular has a great vibe inside and out. It's a good people watching location.
Overall not impressed with first visit on a Sunday afternoon. Cool ambiance and fun vibe but very disorganized. The parking is a disaster around that area so plan on street parking a few blocks away or Uber into the area to save the headache. The food was ok especially the meatball appetizer; however, service was dreadful. They weren't horribly busy and definitely had enough staff but they apparently need to rethink the server arrangements. They don't assign a server to a table so you have to randomly grab someone to order and get more drinks. Usually had to to ask 2 or 3x where drinks were and ended up getting extra sometimes but took forever for bar service. Getting the check took 3 people asking and finally gave cc to 3rd guy and few mins later first guy brought check. Total cluster on service side so not sure will be back as wife was extremely annoyed. If it weren't for the decent food rating would be 0.
The remix meal was disappointing. Cold bacon as soon we we got it. Eggs were unseasoned and mostly just tasted of oil. The potato portion was fine. Wouldn’t order ever again
The 1 star review is for the incredibly dishonest/manipulative way the servers present the tipping options on board and bottle night. I would also like to add that this is not a one time thing. I have been many times and have never had it NOT happen. When attending board and bottle night with a group and splitting the check, the automatic tipping options are quickly presented on a digital screen where you choose the tip as you are paying. The percentage options reflect the ENTIRE bill instead of just your part of the check. So, if you are in a group of 5 and everyone selects the 20% tip option, the server is being tipped the full cost of the meal. SO rude!!! And on top of that, they don’t provide you any written receipt or offer to provide it (I imagine so they hope people don’t realize they are being SCAMMED). The food and wine are good, but this needs to be fixed.
I order on Uber eats and I’m really upset at the fact this is what I got. This is not worth the price and the quality is horrible I just don’t understand how you could be okay with giving someone this. The panini was overcooked and I there was barely any of the cheese in the sandwich. Then I also get a cup of soup that is not filled even half way this is ridiculous. I’m very disappointed.
