Amazing place,great personable service, and yummy food!

Great little spot for breakfast and a carafe of local coffee! They have excellent chicken n waffles, but they aren't on the menu! We sat on the patio, the wait was looong but sooo worth it!!!

This place is the best, it's small and cozy. The menu is great, the food is delicious and the service is fast and top notch. Not to mention, Scott makes you feel right at home. The entire staff here is amazing. If you haven't made it to this little Houston gem you are missing out!

My No. 1 breakfast restaurant in Houston. All dishes are delicious but its pancake taste can’t be found anywhere else. Fresh orange juice is a must to take as well as the coffee. There is always a Q but it deserves waiting for the excellent food and services.

All 5 stars to this place! Ots smaller than regular Barnabys but the service it top notch and the place is cozy. I got the Migas and the freshly squeezed orange juice and it was deeeelicious. Highly recommend this place for brunch!

Went to this place for brunch. After having to wait for about an hour to be seated, I began to wonder whether or not the food would be worth it. It most definitely was! I had the steak and eggs plate, it came with potatoes, and toast. All cooked to perfection. My wife had the biscuits, sausage, bacon and eggs plate. I had to try some off of her plate just from the sheer sight of it. It was all delicious and cooked with heart. Highly recommend, if you find yourself having to wait, be patient. It'll be worth it!

What a surprise!! We were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this restaurant. Oh were we pleasantly surprised. Our group of four truly enjoyed our meal and the smell of fresh oj when you walk in is absolutely delicious. It’s a small place but the service is big!! It was good to see the locals go in and you could feel the welcome. Our server was extremely nice. I can’t remember his name but he was a gentleman with short hair and clear glasses. Our family who live there said they would add this restaurant to there regular breakfast stop. Keep up the good work baby!!

I've missed Barnaby's for the last 5 years and can honestly say the food is always remarkable. I had a hankering for their skinny fries and couldn't decide between the Buffalo Burger or Turkey Cranberry Sandwich. It doesn't matter what you choose in the end, the food is always delicious! Our waiter Victor was great! Thanks for the service and amazing food.

I’ve never been to a spot with a more welcoming and charismatic staff than Baby Barnaby’s plus the food was very, very good! Even the fruit cups were thoughtfully put together. I’m in love with this place. Well worth the wait where they have seats and water. Just make sure you’re nearby so you hear your name called, they’ll circle back to you which is very considerate but I’d recommend to not prolong the wonderful experience

Baby Barnaby’s is my absolute favorite place to eat breakfast in Houston. I have been a patron for 10+ years. I will wait as long as needed for a table. I bring friends here from out of town. I visited with my big pregnant belly and they made sure I was comfortable. I love the staff, the service, and the food. The atmosphere and the food is worth the wait!

The petite steak and eggs is the way to go. Steak is always seasoned to perfection.

Hidden Gem! Brought the family here after trying several other places for breakfast in the neighborhood. My 6yo loved the french toast, wife loved her corned beef hash and I really enjoyed the steak and eggs. Incredible value, high quality steak, perfectly cooked potatoes and excellent locally roasted coffee. So glad we finally found our go to spot for breakfast. Staff also super friendly. You can feel the presence of a strong community here!

We ordered french toast, BLT, breakfast plate and a waffle. Let me just say do not sleep on the BLT!! Everything is served so you build your own. It was so damn good. I’m not a huge fan of waffles but I would order this waffle again. My daughter said the French toast was good but she prefers brioche bread french toast. My other daughter loved the break fast plate and the biscuits it came with. OMG the orange juice was just like biting in to an actual orange it was fresh!! Do yourself a favor go enjoy breakfast here. The atmosphere was so chill and our server was so sweet!! 10/10 recommend and will return

Love their Huevos Rancheros. Their salsa is superb, I always ask for an extra one cause it goes perfectly with their crispy potatoes! Great coffee but I always love getting their orange juice because it's freshly squeezed!

The waiter John was amazing. This was my first time going to this establishment, at first I was lost until he asked us to sign in and we waited outside. The wait wasn't bad at least 20 minutes the most I think it might have been less. It was small and welcoming. I ordered waffles and chicken and let me tell you those waffles were amazing but hats off to the chicken just delicious. Just the right amount of spices.My partner ordered the porkchops with eggs just 😋 delicious. I also had leave juice freshly squeezed just that home feeling. The coffee was one if the best coffee I had. All around excellent experience. You can order to go on the website also. Parking is limited but there is parking available in the back and the front of the restaurant. Will go again to try the other dishes on the menu.

12/29/24 lunch at Baby Barnaby's; 11:30 AM. Bacon cheeseburger & fries, medium well, Coke ZERO. Excellent food, atmosphere and service. The crowd was next door in the Sunday"breakfast" portion of the restaurant. Burger had a slight pink streak through the center, cooked just right. Lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion, bacon and cheese. Very good but could only eat half. Brought the remainder home for lunch tomorrow.

Good place to have a nice brunch with your family and friends! :) We stopped by here for the first time after hours of cycling in the park! It’s a popular restaurant so we had to wait for 20 mins also but it’s worth the wait! I got Miga and it was a good one! Will definitely stop by if we go around there! The meal was excellent and the fresh orange juice was a hit. Advice: The seating is tight and for those with Autistic children so is helpful have noise canceling headphones and to get a booth inside or sit outside. Thanks Barnaby's for our first visit here. We will be back!

The breakfast tacos I had were awesome and the staff kindly accepted my substitution due to a dietary restriction. Parking can be difficult at peak hours and on weekends. The space is small and the menu is relatively small to but well curated. I’d love to see a dressed salad addition as a breakfast side and hot tea options on the menu. They did have hot tea available though, just none on the menu. The black beans and potatoes were perfectly cooked. The chorizo in the tacos were perfection. Definitely coming back for the red velvet waffles and banana nut pancakes. My friends rave about the Green Eggs. Looking forward to my next meal here!

I’m genuinely disappointed to write this review after being recommended this place by several friends. Unfortunately, my experience was ruined right from the initial interaction with the front house staff. The outdoor front area had no host, no server, or anyone available to greet guests. Upon walking inside, I still couldn’t locate any staff to assist. Observing other customers, I noticed a piece of paper outside where they seemed to be writing their names. Eventually, someone came out and started calling names, and that’s when I heard mine. When I was called, I asked if they were busy or if they could accommodate quick service, as we were heading to the rodeo afterward. The reply was abrupt: “We’re busy today.” I wasn’t even offered a seat while waiting for my boyfriend, who was parking the car. They insisted that the entire party must be present before seating us, which felt unnecessary. I could have ordered on his behalf if seating was offered. The dismissive attitude of the front house staff created an unpleasant experience. I noticed another customer after me encountering a similar issue, and they also left. Sadly, the lack of hospitality and professionalism completely overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable visit.

Unfortunately, I wish I would’ve had a better experience because I like Barnaby’s. I cannot rate the food since we end up leaving. I came in with friends to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately the patio was closed so we couldn’t have our doggie join us so we decided to perhaps do take out. Well, once I came in to ask for menus I was just instructed to pick them myself from the staff area (which I don’t mind because they were busy). When we were ready to make our order we stood inside where they had instructed me to. Yet, it was honestly such a passive aggressive feeling. Obviously, it’s a tiny space but waiter didn’t acknowledge us and just said to please get out of his way. He continued to just emptied out the juicer and refilled it while we patiently waited. There was no “hey, I’ll be right with you or let me finish this.” After about 5-8 minutes of awkwardly standing we just decided to leave. Just wished that staff would’ve been a bit more receptive :(
