The food was really good! Parking was a little confusing, and the overall vibe could use a lift—maybe some better music would help. Tip: bring headphones if you want to tune out the atmosphere.

probably one of the best, if not the best, waffles ive had in houston! would definitely recommend the house waffle and the chicken and waffles. the guy taking our order spoke very softly so you really need to pay attention! overall, highly recommend this place! :)

My husband and I got the Elvis waffle. The flavors were amazing with the warm peanut butter and honey drizzled on top of the chooped bananas and bacon were perfect. Definitely recommend and we already plan coming back tomorrow to try one of the breakfast waffles.

Absolutely heaven with each tasty bite! Stopped in during my visit back home and after reading some great reviews about this place had to come. Full transparency, this place will leave you wanting more. First, because it is THAT good, especially the Monte Cristo, but the portion size/ content will require thinking where to next within the hour. (Leaving with an appetite, especially if you plan to walk around the downtown area) Overall, it is a must stop for a great snack or accompanied with other items! Can't wait to go back!

DELICIOUS!!! On vacation and looking for a breakfast place! Loved the SOUTHERN BELLE the best but ice cream waffle sandwich, make your own with fresh strawberries and the Nashville Hot we’re fantastic too. Sooooo good! Couldn’t find it originally but went into the Lyric Market and passed tons of food options. All the way to the back and worth it!! Great service! Fast, crispy, savory and filled with Belgian pearl sugar!!!

5 star experience! Danny made us the delicious 😋 house waffle 🧇 He was very kind to recommend us the perfect one! I also love the pink themed Christmas decorations where I took so many photos and videos! We are visiting Houston as tourists and it was fantastic place to spend the afternoon with coffee and waffle 🎅❄️🎄

Inside the Lyric Market. Absolutely delicious. My wife got the chicken and waffles, and my son got some waffle dessert abomination that was stacked to his eyeballs with whipped cream. Reasonably priced for the portion, freshness, and quality. I’d go back. They’ll validate your parking for free if you’re under 2 hours and bring a receipt from one of the vendors in the market.

Right after dinner, me & my friends were craving something sweet & less than 2 blocks away we stumbled across this place. The place has such a great atmosphere & was very clean. The person who took our order, Naji, had such a welcoming vibe. He took our orders & made our waffles, all by himself ! the wait was less than 10 minutes, which wasn’t that long ! the waffles were very delicious & very pretty looking . Definitely recommend to anyone who’s craving anything sweet or savory 😋😋😋 a true hidden gem !

Starting off with customer service.....I can't recall her name but I was here today at noon time🤔. The young lady had a very sub par attitude. Interacted as if she didn't wanted to take the time to make menu suggestions. I informed her this was my first time at the establishment. Her voice was barely audible and mind you the atmosphere wasn't loud. No menu suggestions, body language was drab, as if she was resenting engaging. I took my time ordering. The items on the menu looked so good. I actually didn't see anything that wasn't appeasing. I ordered the waffle with 2 regular tenders which cane topped with powdered sugar, bacon crumbles, drizzled maple syrup. Fluffy waffles 🧇 with a distinct taste of what I would describe as "smoked brown sugar". Definitely returning to taste the "house waffle " varieties.

Waffles were good, service was fine,when we went for breakfast only one employee was working. We were actually impressed in his speed of fulfilling orders. The only negative was the atmosphere, eerily quiet and humid.

Note that this is in a food hall so there are a few options other than waffles. My family has been trying different chicken and waffle dishes across the Houston area which brought us here. The waffles were cooked well but the taste was bland, even with the syrup. The chicken was fried a bit harder than what we like and also lacked flavor. I’m sure if you get more of the sweet toppings that the lack of flavor of the waffle would be missed. Overall it was okay but we wouldn’t drive out of the way to visit.

I saw a picture, thought it as a local downtown eatery. But it is just a glorified Starbucks. I had the Cristo, waffle filled with turkey and ham and cheese with blackberry jam. It had just barely enough of each of those ingredients to be able to say they were there. The waffle was good. The drink I ordered was the pink drink. Acai juice and coconut milk. It was mostly ice. It was $5.50. For the money, it was a small snack for the price of an entree at a restaurant. I do not recommend. The service was atrocious. 2 guys who clearly did not want to be there and could not have cared less if I liked the food.

I would have given this 3 stars, but after a second visit I'm dropping it to 2. First visit I got the fruity pebbles waffle and my husband got nashville hot chicken. His was decent, but I didn't care for the flavor of mine at all. The waffle itself was drenched and drizzled with a sticky sweet but almost bitter sauce. It killed the waffle for me. We were back in the area again a few days later and we decided to try it again. Same dishes, but getting the fruity pebbles waffle without the sauce. It was better in the sense that the sauce was left off, but this time around the waffle had a stale, chewy texture. Not pleasant to chew or swallow. I tried adding some maple syrup but it didn't help. Something was off with the texture. What's worse, my husband's waffle was worse than the previous visit and had the same weird texture as mine. After 2 unsuccessful visits, I have to say it's just not good food. It looks a lot better than it tastes unfortunately.
