Opinions de Roma's Pizza Houston
Cool bar, had a great time there, For my guatemalan people Javier is a cool person, I had the pleasuere to meet him. Thanks for saving the spot for the hispanic community. Hold strong my pleople.
Were we leaving for the night until passed by and heard them play Selena jams so we went right in! the music was really good, ranging from salsa to reggaetón, and bachata. Will definitely be back!
Love coming here the drinks are a bit pricy but the music they play is amazing it's so diverse we will always come here when we have a night out!
Casa Blanca is hands down the best bar in the downtown Houston area. If you’re looking for great music from a live dj, excellent drink service, and friendly staff then this is the place for you. P.S. If you tip TK $100 at the door he’ll show you his wiener
Casa Blanca is my spot!!! The bartenders are okay they take forever to take your drink order and aren’t too friendly lol but the music is POPPIN that’s why I keep going back! Lol
We love coming here on the weekends to see our favorite bartender Aileen. She’s fast and makes amazing drinks.
Great place! Will be back. Clean.
Just dance!!! DJ today has got got it going on tonight!! No cover charge.
Man those bouncers are the best lit 🔥 Everytime we come with our friends they’re always making sure we’re good, This bar doesn’t compare to any other bars around. I’m usually not a review person but it’s something about the vibe and the music that I just had to! Thank you so much for always making our night memorable!! Great night as always
LOVE this place. I believe it opened around Superbowl time. My first visit was for Superbowl Sunday and it was a good crowd, great music,AWESOME drinks, and that BBQ sandwich with pork rinds & guacamole! I have come back for more of this great atmosphere at least once a month. The customer service that is given every time I walk in is always great!I have came here on weekdays and weekends and the atmosphere is the same.
Music is very GOOD! If you plan to bar hop around u will definitely get stuck here. Hard to leave when drinks taste good & music is keeping u dancing all night.
Casa Blanca is the place to go!!! I went on a Saturday night and the drinks were amazing. Aliene is Very attentive and took care of us the whole night. Definitely will be going back for another night of fun
The gyro pizza is amazing!!! The stuffed mushrooms are to die for and the service is fast. They have friendly and attentive staff. Definitely a must for pizza lovers
First time here. I must say pizza was great. It was to thick or thin it was just right. We will be returning very soon.
Anyone that gives Roma's Pizza anything other than 5/5 stars has clearly never been to Roma's. Roma's Pizza fed me throughout law school when I worked downtown and now feeds me downtown as a lawyer. The eggplant parm and chicken parm will change your life. The vegetarian and supreme pizzas with a little parmesan cheese and Cholula on top: fuggeddaboutit! Tim, Angel and crew are good people. They deserve 5 stars and some medals.🏅🥇🥇
THIS HIT THE SPOT! 🙌🏼 My goodness, I have been looking for a spot with good spaghetti and Roma’s did it for me! Tomato based sauce and delicious meatballs. Portion was perfect and the side salad was an added bonus. All this for $12.99! Their pizza is always good too, much better than Franks in my opinion and the prices can’t be beat.
Had to be in Houston for a weekend event. Stopped by Roma's because it was near where we were staying. This pizza was absolutely one of the best we have ever had!!! It was made fast, fresh and the staff was friendly, as well! I would highly recommend Roma's to anyone looking for a great, authentic tasting pie!
This place has great selection to choose from. We always seem to show up way too early, the place is always empty. The bartender was attentive and answered all my questions, even though some of them were silly.
I’ve have been here plenty of times and this place never disappoints me. Arnie, the manager is a cool cat and has always treated me and others with respect. I recommend this place.
I loved everything about from the drinks to the vibe. The security at one point shined a very strong light in my eyes. I also really enjoyed the company at the bar.
We stopped here once because they were playing good music (hip hop). It was a smaller crowd that night because it was Christmas, I believe, but it was still fun. The bartender made good drinks. It was nice enough to go back.
This pizza spot doesn't get the love it deserves. Far less busy than its competitor around the corner but the food here is just as good if not better. More more room to enjoy dining with your people, a bar, and lots more seating than the other pizza spot close by.
Honestly I don't have much to say negative about this place. Is it the best pizza I've ever had no, BUT is it good pizza YES. The only issue I have have is it being more thin than most but I think that has to do with style as they don't skim on toppings and they serve them warm or will re-oven/re-warm them in front of you. The service was cool. Just chill guys that help. The atmosphere reminds me of a New York Style pizzeria but for a place in Texas I think more references to the state would be beneficial. Given the business location I guarantee if u catch it at its peak which is like Friday or Saturday when the clubs let out (if they stay open that late- forgot to check) they would be in top form
They were alright. The ravioli wasn't too outstanding but it was perfectly fine, the place was mostly clean with a couple of dirty tables here and there, service was very nice. I appreciated the LARGE side salad with garlic bread on the side and the great views of the train speeding by the windows every few minutes, it gave the place a very nice city vibe. For the $9.99 Ravioli with a side salad and bread, I think it was reasonably priced. As a Muslim, there was limited options to choose from but the cashier did inform me there is no alcohol used in the ravioli, they do have a bar tho but thankfully no one was using it while we were there, so no worries of drunk noisy customers. Halal Italian restaurants don't really exist in the Houston area but this one was alright, tho I would avoid it since I don't like areas where there are bars. Otherwise tho, a solid choice to pick up a fresh and filling dinner from the Downtown Houston area for a reasonable price.
This place would be awesome if only they could find a decent DJ. People come here to dance but the DJs almost never know how to get a crowd dancing. Its not that hard guys just play the billboard 100 top "Latin pop" or reggaeton. Fabian across the street always has better DJs.
Good pizza, but really disappointing customer service experience. I’ve always enjoyed the food here, but I had an unpleasant experience. I called to order a regular pizza, which is clearly listed on their website as one of the two available sizes. The person who answered insisted they only had one size (large), so when I was confirming I called the right place, he hung up on me. I then got my friend call right after and she was able to easily order the regular size with someone else and completed it with an eta of the food being ready. When I went in to pick up the order, the person I spoke to on the phone accused me of “pranking” them because one call had a large size and the next had a regular size. I explained that I was just trying to order dinner and even came in to pay for it, so clearly it wasn’t a prank. It felt pretty uncomfortable and unnecessary. The pizza itself is still good, and I’ve enjoyed this place many times before. Being accused of pranking a business while I'm there in person to pick up the order isn't professional and I left feeling pretty disappointed. The other person that took my friend's order was a lot nicer. Turns out they didn't even make my friend's order that they gave an eta on also. I would've appreciated a call back as they mentioned they received 2 orders from the same phone number.
I have ordered from Roma’s for lunch/dinner for the two years now and decided to order wings with fries for the first time today. However, it will unfortunately be my last ordering them. I really like their pizza so I figured why not as an appetizer and got a slice. While eating my cheese slice, they brought out my wings. I couldn’t believe what i was looking at. I’m not used to seeing feathers still on the wings nor a discolored-white stripe on all the wings. Then the fries were brought to me and it didn’t help that the inside of the fries were still cold. When I brought to to the the workers attention about the wings, the lady at the counter (whom i’ve never seen before) claimed thats how the wings look, it’s normal, and safe to eat. I even asked why they weren’t battered because the picture on the website is battered wings. She explained that they have never done wings that way. I was really confused; why advertise something you don’t offer. I took her word for it and still tried a wing. Big mistake for sure! It was Pinkish meat still inside. I didn’t eat the rest of them. I think maybe the oil was too high; since the fries and meat weren’t done in the middle. Needless to say today was the last time ordering the wings. I was charged $4 for still frozen fries and $7.50 for 5 piece wings and as a paying customer who tips on every transaction; it was a disheartening experience. Overall, don’t trust the website; it’s terribly outdated and uses stock pictures of food they don’t have. Just stick to ordering the pizza on days when you can’t make it to Frank’s.
Got the works and the sausage with pepperoni. Both tasted the same . The works pizza was supposed to be fresh but was extremely soggy. The sausage and pepperoni tasted kinda like metal
There is a bouncer who is too incompetent to make it to the police force so he is letting it out at a ghetto bar. He flashes a powerful LED light straight into your eyes inducing epilepsy, and when I confronted him about it, he rudely asked us to move away from the bar and not let us order drinks, very disappointed, save your money and go get yourself some drinks elsewhere.
I had to use the restroom at 140am. This latin guy blocked the restroom even tho it said on the sign no restroom after 150am. I. Asked if I can use the restroom. He said no but let 5 girls go. I asked why can't I go then a security guard named David (black tall guy) tells me you need to own it. I was soo upset I left.
The security kills the vibe with their flashlights shining everywhere. I’ve never been there once without security somehow finding a reason to shine the lights at people’s faces. Can they just use their eyeballs and stand in the back? Security are supposed to blend into the background unless they are needed like they do at any other club. Not to mention it’s a small space, it’s pretty easy supervise without distracting and commenting on what everyone does.
I always come and get salads because they are really good, today I went for a salad and seen the guy making it with his bare hands shouldn’t they be wearing gloves? I don’t know if I can order salads from there again that is very unsanitary I told the guy in charge and all he did was give me a thumbs up..
