Fantastic food! Awesome service! Always go in hungry and come out full with leftovers. The portions do not disappoint. The flavor is great. We’ve tried just about everything on the menu and have always enjoyed it. We also had a hookah. Fantastic flavors to choose from, and very attentive service. Will definitely come back again.

I have tried most of the hookah places in Houston, and the hookah at Rest House is the best hookah I’ve ever had! The food is also very delicious!

This place was great! The strawberry smoothie was creamy and delicious. The hummus was yummy. It too was creamy not gritty. The chicken kabobs were a little on the dry side but when paired with the amazing garlic sauce, you hardly notice. The rice was cooked to perfection. The portions are huge and everyone had enough left over to take home for lunch the next day. The service was fantastic! The place was not smokey at all from the hookahs and it smelled pretty nice to be honest. We will be back for sure!!

I had Rest House Cafe’s catering at a birthday and the food was so delicious! The chicken and the beef were so well seasoned and cooked exactly right, not too soft or not too hard. The potatoes were so flavorful and the humus and babaganoush tasted amazing and had the cutest presentation! Definitely recommend for your catering needs!

RestHouse, also known as RH, is undoubtedly one of the finest food and hookah bars I've visited in Houston. Owned and run by a family, their food truly reflects authentic home-cooked flavors that are rarely found, in my opinion. The staff is incredibly welcoming and courteous. I particularly enjoy their pizza nights on Wednesdays and highly recommend trying their mixed plates along with the beef or chicken shawarma. If you're a fan of card games, you'll also find a table available to enjoy some games with others.

This restaurant is amazing. They have great customer service. The moment you enter the restaurant they glance at you and attend to your needs. I have no complains. I have been coming here for little over almost 1 year now and I have to say they are top notch! The only complain I have is that their restaurant name is not the same as the Google GPS has on file. If their Mediterranean grill then it should come up as that on the GPS. Other than that no complains. Awesome place! Thank you.

I would go back here in a heartbeat. I did carryout for my first time, but we waited a little bit in-house for food. It's also a hookah lounge, but with a quiet and more mature atmosphere compared with the other hookah places I've been. This is now our go-to place for Mediterranean food.

The food is truly sublime and the atmosphere is relaxing. The hookah is lovely as well and the waiters have always in my experience been friendly socially as well as professionally when it involves handling and serving my food, changing the coals, or just listening and having good conversation. The interior of the diner is clean and reflects the style of the part of the world where this diner takes its name. The owner Ishmael is also the picture of great service as well as proper cooking. He has even thanked me for my continued patronage with a desert on the house. The icing on the cake is their tea. Ceylon Tea made just right to mellow out the rest of the day and end it on a good and refreshing note.

Best service ever! I enjoyed the music they played there as it varied from a ton of genres. Samboosik and fries were very good and their lemonade is hands down the best lemonade I ever had. Youssef and Christina gave AMAZING quality service. Coming back for that lemonade !!

First time here. Had their combination grilled platter, forgot what they called it, and it was ok. The meats are a bit dry and not as flavorful as I had at other Mediterranean grills. Service was attentive, although it took longer than usual wait for the food to arrive. Don't know if I came at a slow time and they are a bit understaffed or what. It was not a bad experience but it is not great. Did not want to give it a 3 stars because i want to give them a chance. May try it again later and have a final verdict.

I’ve visited this place recently, hokkah was the worst , dishes,cups, table were dirty, I thought they’ll clean the table before serving they didn’t, got too sick later Never again.
