Highly recommend! We normally dine in. This time, we picked up the food to enjoy at home. Absolutely everything was perfect with our order. This is one of the best places for brisket. They have excellent service, and we loved the marble brisket with bark on it. It was spot on. We ordered extra rolls which we love too. Kudos to whoever was working tonight. They did a phenomenal job.
I've visited this restaurant before. Their barbecue is excellent... at least by my tastes. The fresh bread/rolls are awesome. Give this place a try!!
I had a great meal at this location. I was in the area and stopped in for a stuffed baked potato. The brisket was so good and the potato was a good size. (See pics) The sides were excellent! I also really like that a staff member comes by and offers fresh hot rolls. IBC root beer is also one of my all time favs! Dessert was perfect and tasted so good! The meal was so huge that I couldn't finish it in 1 sitting. A real bonus to me so I get two meals out of it. I would and have recommended this place to family and friends.
I have been wanting to eat here for a few months now. I made it here today. The venue is very nice and inviting. The BBQ is great. I had the St Louis ribs. Not sure why it is so empty here. Maybe I arrived a bit early?
Darrell, Manager @ time of my first Ubereats order when above and beyond get Ubereats to re-deliver my order to my address and provided excellent, professional, friendly service to help make my Mother's 88th Birthday lunch and my 65th Birthday lunch from Spring Creek special. Thanks, Darrell for your help! Next time it will be Door Dash or we will come eat at your Restaurant.
We decided to stop here after our original BBQ choice was sold out, and I’m so glad we did! There was no wait, and the staff was friendly and professional. The food was outstanding—especially the brisket, which melted in my mouth. The ribs were tender and flavorful, and the BBQ beans and mac and cheese were delicious. Plus, the rolls were hot and fresh. If you're in the mood for BBQ, this place is a must-visit!
Great bbq place. The Manager is a great guy. He came up to me and my daughter to greet us and ask if everything was well.
Love the brisket ! 10 stars hands up 🙌 The rolls are freshly baked warm and soft ready to enjoy, the environment was okay the staff didnt greet me when I came in but the manager later said hi and was able to give me my to go order I placed.
I've been coming to this restaurant for years since it's so close to my house and food ia good. Although service is always good, I decided to write a review this time because Tony was extremely nice and helpful. He made us feel special.
Food was very good, service was top notch. The waiters were friendly, fast service. I love that they had hot rolls served frequently. And the soft serve ice cream.
The ribs, potato salad & baked potatoes 🥔 10/10😋😋😋 customer service phenomenal. Overall it was finger licking good. Will definitely be a regular customer. Thank you. To Your Success 🍻
If you are in the Tomball TX area or anywhere Spring Creek have a restaurant then be sure to pop in. Dined here with a group for lunch and we wanted something local and could not have found better. Friendly, fast, efficient and good "eats" is the way to describe the experience. You have a choice of Beef, chicken, pork, turkey ham from the barbecue menu. It comes with two sides of your choice and fountain soda pop. ..and yes that hot soft bread baked right on site and available in unlimited quantities. Portions are not standard...but Texan! Ie H-U-G-E! So if you are hungry then definitely this is your stop. Unfortunately vegan choices are really limited here. It's really good food at pocket friendly pricing. You must visit!
Have had takeout from Spring Creek before but first time to dine in. Came to try the ribs because we hadn't had them before. Got the babyback rib plate with potato salad and green beans. They offered 2 plates since we were 2 people sharing one meal and that was nice. The food was delicious; the meat was tender and satisfying. Also a staffer offered additional fresh yeast rolls to guests while they dined and I liked that, too. Service was friendly and atmosphere was welcoming. Want to come back again.
Everything from being to end each and every time. From serviced to people and most of the food.

spring creek bbq is my favorite bbq in town. The brisket is always tender with great flavor. Can't forget the homemade rolls. They are delicious.

They do a lot in the local community. My sons school does fundraisers here, last week he came home with a shirt cup, ice cream vouchers & 10 dollar gift card. The food is good, service is better. T…
Great smoke flavor on the chicken, lunch special.. fresh rolls were good. I prefer spicy sauce to sweet bbq sauce. They don't serve coffee.
Same as all the other locations. Good food, good service, quick and easy, affordable, etc. everything you’re looking for in a simple bbq experience. Went with a crew of almost 15 and it was right before they were closing, but they still served us with a smile. Love that.
Probably not surprisingly, I'm not a big fan of chain BBQ joints. Typically they are too commercial and just don't produce high-quality flavorful smoked meat. Happily, however, I recently found an exception. And I hope it wasn't a one-time thing. A close relative works at Spring Creek Barbecue - so we had to viait. They had a beef rib on special for a smokin' deal (yes, pun intended). Ever the bbq nut, I couldn't pass it up. I was pleasantly surprised by.how tasty it was. The fat was well-rendered and had that hoped-for velvety mouth feel you expect from a monster beef rib. The bark was outstanding, with a good black pepper bite to it. The smoke ring was excellent and it had a good smoky flavor. Gotta give credit where credit is due - they did a great job on the king of Texas smoked meat. Kudos to Spring Creek Barbecue.

It was decent, but for the price, I won't be going back. I spent $140. I ordered everything on the menu. BBQ ribs had great flavor, but lacked tenderness. Brisket flavor was lacking, and it was dry. Chicken was the one of the best things there. The sides were just OK. Mac n Cheese was watery. 1 week later, about $70 worth of food was wasted because not even mu kids wanted to eat it. The links were my favorite. I tried the pepper and regular. Cooked very well and it wasn't dry. I made a link sandwich a couple says later. It was awesome! The bread, OH THE BREAD!!! BEST THING SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME!!! I couldn't get enough of it.
I ordered a chopped beef sandwich/drink. No sides. It was over $20 with tip. This place does not offer Senior or Military discount. Won't go back. Do not recommend...
Food was ok, better than the one on IH-10. Food servers were not very friendly. Hurry up and order even though no one was behind us. The pork ribs lacked meat and the corn on the cob tasted like the kind you buy (frozen) at a grocery store. The green beans are excellent. The fresh baked rolls are very good. The brisket was ok, but not great.
Tried it for the first time today and will definitely be back! Lean meats, green beans like my Grandma used to make, delicious rolls and a nice selection of deserts. No room for that today, but I will try in the future! UPDATE: I usually like the food here, but yesterday (8.28.23) I ordered 2 lbs of LEAN brisket, 1/2 lb of pulled pork, a large container of green beans and a banana pudding for pickup for a family gathering. When I got home with the food, the brisket was NOT LEAN, like I ordered. I had to trim off about 1/2 lb. of fat. Very disappointing after spending $55 with a $5 tip UPDATE: went back for another try tonight and have to give it mixed reviews. The brisket and sides were fine, but the Baby Back Ribs were so fatty we couldn't eat them. Two plates of food for $44! I don't know when they became so expensive, but I doubt I can afford to go back when the food is so iffy

Food is fine but expensive. $23+ for “Brisket Lunch Special” w/drink. Once known for serving fresh bread at the table. I had to go to the counter and ask for bread. When I saw fresh bread come out the employee took potatoes to the kitchen first before serving bread. There were only 4 tables sat at lunch (hmmm?). Fresh bread was offered to two tables on one side of the room and the tables on my side were completely ignored, not once, but twice. Second time there were a total of 5 tables sat. Employee went to two. I don’t see myself coming back. There are better values in the area. All that being said, the food quality is solid. The value and service is not. Staff is not rude. They just don’t want to be here.
Sep 2023: pretty much over it! Asked for chopped meat no fat. Fries are never fully cooked. Okra is always over cooked. For $24.00 I just expect better service. So it’s time for me to just leave them alone for good. Pickles are still great UPDATE 2023: I love there pickles man they have the best pickles lol! I swear! I got the brisket and sausage today. For $20.00 I didn’t feel it was bough meat. It’s pictured below! But the meat is very good, I will say that. And I love there bbq sauce it’s really good. Fries are ok, not the biggest fan but…. So there you have it The customer service experience could definitely be better. The bread with the butter is freaking awesome!!!! The salads look really good as well. I get the chop brisket sandwich and fries (fried foods are always made to order so they are fresh). One thing I do miss is there spicy bbq sauce it was the best I’ve had in Texas and they took it away. But always a good experience with the food.
I ordered the 3 meat plater for $19.99 and was not worth the money. Super small portions. The smallest I have had here in Texas. Order was baby back ribs 2 bones, turkey was enough to make a roll full of meat, and beef brisket I had to find it. Sides ordered were very awful which consisted of Mac and cheese tasted like Kraft, pinto beans just bad, potato salad was very vinegar taste overpowering the potatoes, and watery coleslaw. This was very disappointing to say the least.
Where to start? I ordered the three meat combo and was sadly surprised to see how little the portions were on this $20 plate. With only two ribs, this felt like a sampler more than an entree. The little brisket I did receive was poorly trimmed and mostly fat and cold to boot. When I asked the waiter if this was a normal looking three combo plate, she responded with, "they may be running low". I laughed and responded by asking then how is this worth $20 to me if they shorted then portions. She replied "idk" and asked a manager who had even less to say as she looked confused by my question. Over all, the sausage was cold, the pulled pork was soggy, the chicken and turkey was dry and the only tasty and hot thing was the fresh bread that was brought to the table, every 30 seconds. This was not worth the $88 dollars and change I spent on my family's dinner; none of them even finished their meal.
I tried this place&location for my first time ever this past Thursday. And caused me to get severely sick all the way until today which is Wednesday of the following week. Wouldn't recommend this. Se…
Cafeteria style bbq that's been sitting under the lamp. Fresh rolls and great service though. Just the food wasn't the best.
Not Texas good smoked BBQ....the ribs look like they're boiled then grilled. I do not recommend!

I come here ones or twice a week. Not anymore. Maybe other location. Need better services staff’s.There either dancing playing around or on there phones. Food was a little dry but okay. Roll’s were were the best but way to buttery now.And peach cobbler was over cook🤷🏻♀️🙁😶🫤🤔
Super disappointed! We got an order to go. Brisket sandwich and turkey sandwich. Brisket was dried out, buns were stale and hard, fried okra had no flavor. We love Spring Creek Bar-B-Que but it’s too expensive for barley mediocre food.
⭐️ 1 out of 5 – Extremely Disappointing It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a bad experience at a restaurant. The service was terrible — no personality, no smiles, and not a single check-in during the entire meal. The food was even worse. The brisket was dry and completely lacking flavor, the ribs were dry with only mediocre seasoning, and the baked beans tasted like they came straight out of a can. The mac and cheese seemed boxed, and even the hot rolls had no seasoning or flavor. I honestly don’t understand how this place stays open. There were hardly any people dining in, and now I see why. Save your $90 and take your family somewhere else. Definitely not recommended.
Honestly a terrible experience. I came for a pickup order and ended up waiting almost 30 minutes, even though there were no other customers inside. The staff moved incredibly slow and didn’t seem to care at all. The manager was rude when I asked about my order, and no one made any effort to help or even apologize. I left completely disappointed. Definitely not coming back.
I used to love this place and came here all the time, but after today’s experience, I’m beyond disappointed. When you order a half chicken, they usually give you the option of dark or white meat. I specifically asked for thighs, but the so-called manager, Daryl, refused to serve it to me. His excuse? They only had two chickens left, and he wanted to “save” the dark meat for other customers who might come later. That is completely unprofessional and ridiculous. A paying customer standing at the counter should never be told they can’t have what’s available just because the manager wants to hold it back for someone else. Restaurants are supposed to operate on a first come, first serve basis — not pick and choose who deserves better food. It’s not my problem that they didn’t plan properly or ran low on inventory. Instead of owning up to that, Daryl tried to force me into ordering something I didn’t want. His attitude was rude, dismissive, and honestly insulting. I walked out feeling frustrated and disrespected. Sad to say, after years of being a loyal customer, I don’t see myself coming back.
I visited this location today while purchasing BBQ for the Super Bowl and witnessed a deeply unprofessional interaction that deserves attention from ownership and management. Date & Time of Incident: February 8, 2026 at approximately 11:55 AM An older customer was picking up his order when a manager approached him regarding an additional charge for sauce. The issue was not the policy itself, but the manner in which it was communicated. The manager spoke in a loud, abrupt, and condescending tone, creating an unnecessarily uncomfortable and confrontational situation. The customer calmly explained that he has been a loyal patron for over 20 years and is a local teacher who has supported this business consistently. Rather than addressing the situation with respect or discretion, the manager escalated it publicly. The interaction disrupted the atmosphere of the restaurant and made other customers, myself included, uncomfortable. I even offered to pay for the additional charge in order to de-escalate the situation, but by that point the customer had understandably lost trust and requested a refund, choosing to take his business elsewhere despite his order already being prepared. This was an avoidable loss of a long-standing customer and reflects poorly on leadership at this location. Customer service is not just about enforcing policies, but about how those policies are communicated. Unfortunately, this manager demonstrated a lack of professionalism, emotional awareness, and customer-facing skills expected in a management role. I would appreciate a response from ownership or upper management. Without accountability or corrective action, I will also be taking my business elsewhere, despite having been a loyal customer for over four years.
Spring Creek can be a great restaurant when run well. This one is not run well. It is run by teens and an absent manager who was physically there but had a lack of leadership experience. To-go orders are prioritized over a party of 9 standing waiting to order food. The food received was not hot. My daughter was salivating at attending SCBBQ knowing she would receive dinner rolls. She watched. She waited. She asked for a roll. “Two seconds and we’ll be out”. She timed it. 12 minutes passed. Dinner was eaten. While the roll girl yapped with a fellow employee. I wish we had looked at the poor rating this location has on Yelp before spending such an exorbitant amount of money here. We will not return.
I eat here occasionally and love the food, despite the ever-decreasing portion sizes. My visit today may prevent me ever dining here again. I wanted to place an order to go and walked up to the counter to order.. nobody was there, but I was patient. A girl finally came by, but the phone rang... She ignored me and proceeded to take a large order by phone, leaving me waiting. Finally, she finished the phone order and asked if she could help me... I barely finished stating I'd like to place a to-go order and the phone rang again.. and she answered it! Okay, ignoring me twice is just rude, so I walked out. I called and complained to a manager, for what that's worth.. I doubt I'll ever go back there again.. Other places may actually want my business...
I placed an order for a baked potato with chopped beef. I went to pick it up and paid exactly $19.66. I did not check my order because I usually went to that restaurant and trusted that what I paid for would be correct without opening it. When I arrived home, the chopped beef was missing, so I called to explain what had happened, and an employee told me that he personally made it and that the order was complete. At that moment I became very upset and drove back, which took me 15 minutes, and showed them the baked potato. The manager, Colton, told me he was going to remake it, but instead I asked for a refund in advance and told them they could review the cameras and see that the meat had never been added to the baked potato. He took the order and, while they were laughing sarcastically in my face, he brought it back. When I saw that attitude and how unprofessional they were by laughing that way, I told him to give me my money back. He flatly refused because, according to him, it would cause a loss to the restaurant. In conclusion, I have been going there for many years, but the quality has gone down, and it is almost always empty, which makes me believe they urgently need a change of management because only very young and immature people work there. I lost my $19.66 because the manager refused to refund it. And what upset me the most was that they insisted the meat was there and laughed sarcastically in my face. That kind of attitude is unacceptable, and that is why I decided not to take the food, because with that behavior I do not expect anything good.
We’ve been customers of this restaurant for a while and we’ve gone to different locations but started coming to this location more often because it’s closer to our house. We always order the same thing, a baked potato and my husband gets the meat plate. This day we decided to order to go because I wasn’t feeling good and to our surprise when he opened the box the amount of food was ridiculous small. When we call and explain to the manager (LOGAN) his response was that maybe they over served us before. He didn’t show any sympathy or offer an apology. He simply didn’t care. My husband even left a good tip. We are very disappointed.
This used to be my favorite BBQ place, not anymore. The last two times we've tried it the food has been awful. The baked potatoes were cold. The buns were beyond stale! As "wet" as the chopped brisket is, it's full of hard dry chunks. Sadly the best part of the meal was the tea, pickle spear, and the roll.
