Ordered potato and egg and beef faita and egg tacos. Added beans, muenster cheese, and avocado to both. I love the green sauce. Beef was very tender and seasoned. Male cashier at drive thru was very nice. Will return to try other items.

WOW 💯 you know how every once in a while you find a hidden gem? That’s how I feel about this place… I was getting my haircut across the street and buying some clothes over there, and figured I’ll go eat some food real quick… so I walked over here to this place… All I’m gonna say is if you like authentic Mexican food, then come here… because it’s got a fast food vibe to it on the outside(and inside) so you think you’re in for like a taco cabana experience… until you smell the food in there… and then when you get it, you’re thinking “oh, okay… this is like top-notch authentic” Just do yourself a favor and go eat here 👊💯

I enjoy the food at Taco Palenque and happy there is one in the area I shop at. I usually go through the drive-thru and I must say what keeps me coming back is not just the good tacos, nachos and food items offered but the service! Angel has always had a smile on his face after he has answered questions I may have at the speakers which is usually portion size for one. I know many times businesses receive a lot of negative but I wanted to take the time today to say whoever hired Angel Bravo! 👏

Food is delicious and the Fideo is HOT. So good!! They have a place for the kids to play and the staff are great! One employee saw me struggling to see the menu and walked a menu over to me. The staff even wished me a happy birthday! I usually do drive-thru but going inside and serving myself chips and salsa for my table is definitely worth it.

Carla is by far the best cashier customer service specialist I’ve ever encountered at any fast food restaurant. She’s polite, friendly, and prompt! She’s truly a people person and amazing. Oh yea we also like the food too!! It’s so delicious!! My husband’s favorites are the pancake breakfast plate and the steak fajita bowls. Oh and the tomatillo green sauce!! I promise this place will not disappoint!!

Being a native Laredoan, I’m excited to see Taco Palenque or TP expand to Houston. That said, the flavor is not the same as compared to the Laredo or even Sam Antonio locations. The ocio de gallo was missing the pico and the beef pirata taco was good but missing the seasoning. The cheese wasn’t fully melted and clumped together. Hopefully, someoen from Laredo will be able to assess the cooking. Other than that the location is super clean and team are helpful and making sure customers are taken care of.

I asked for 2 chicken chalupas with NO sour cream and a regular taco with NO sour cream with a mountain Baja blast I got my drink correct but not my tacos what so ever I still had sour cream on my tacos which I’m allergic why I ask NO SOUR CREAM paid for something I can’t even eat like be fr. Worst KFC I've ever had. The chicken tenders were cold and rock hard. The new White Peppercorn Gravy is TERRIBLE! This location needs to be inspected. The food was not edible. Thrown in the trash. I highly suggest to go elsewhere. YUK!

When I came to the register, I asked the lady how long is it going to take because I have an appointment. She told me few min. And They already started making it. After 15 minutes the food wasn't ready and when they finished a different girl comes from the back gave the food to my wife and shouted at her to be patient, it they were honest from the beginning and didn't tell it takes few minutes I wouldn't have ordered I woul of ordered after my appointment also the portioning were very small and they shorted us 1 taco, Im very disappointed at this location. Truly sucks. I don't recommend this place.

Visited this location today 10/13/2025 @ approx 4:07 pm. Waited in the drive-thru for approx 25 mins and the food was HORRIBLE. I asked the cashier(Jennifer) how long my food and drink had been sitting and she stated that it had just come up. Not True! Tacos was already soggy and the drink was extremely watery. I frequently visit Taco Bell restaurants but this by far has to be the WORSE ONE.

Its now 11/16/2025 1:05pm -Drive through. Ticket # 1531 The older african american lady is rude. Why is she a front line, customer facing representative? Do better! The ticket shows her name as Priscilla, but I dont think thats the case. I believe she is in training and should be fired. Complaints will be rolling in.

Very bad customer service at the speaker/drive thru. Cashier (Kyrrah) had no interest in answering my question on an item on the menu. Then when getting to the window just took my card and closed the window. Then handed my bag. Did not ask if I wanted hot sauce or anything else. Had to wave her down to ask for sauce, then handed only a few when I had ordered 12 burritos. Worst service there. No smile at all. Looks like she does not like her job.

I haven’t been to Taco Bell in ages. So when I saw the picture for the new melted cheese burritos for 4.99, I ordered them. Come to find out that both of them were tiny. Tinier than regular tacos. It was a complete rip off. Everything else I ordered was mostly tortilla and practically no internal ingredients. Just keep away from Taco Bell and spend the same amount of money else where. The chick who took my order was gorgeous and polite but the food itself was the exact opposite

Tacos were cold although the Fidel was hot and delicious. When it got close to 10 pm seems like they let the restaurant get very Smokey where it was hard to breathe and we had a 3 month old so we left mid way while eating. Not sure if they were trying to get people to leave since it was close to closing time. Would not go back to dine in.

The cashier named Pamela made my experience at taco palenque unpleasant. I orders a couple tacos and then asked for what sizes they had for chips. She proceeded to tell me there's only one size and I asked again are you sure cause I believe I've ordered a small or large in the past and she insisted that I am wrong and she's a manager so she knows best. I was upset having to pay extra money for extra chips I didnt need, to then speak to a real manager and find out that there's definitely more then one chips and they should've came with the food as a complimentary.

Extremely disappointed with Taco Palenque's misleading closing time. After attending the Astros game, my husband and I decided to swing by for a late-night snack, trusting Google's stated closing time of 11 PM on Fridays. However, upon arrival at 10:52 PM, the drive-thru staff informed us they were closed. Both open signs were lit up, adding to our confusion and frustration. Notably, all employees were inside, yet they refused service. It's unacceptable to misrepresent closing times, especially when customers make a special trip. Hopefully, management addresses this issue to avoid further inconvenience for patrons.
