Really good bar, the place is nice, the atmosphere is excellent and the personnel is kind. They have a good selection of beers and good drinks.

Great cocktails and happy hour menu. The Moscow mule and Asian pear martini were both delicious!

There was a pretty good size crowd mostly after work / casual clothing Crowd: it was a pretty busy night, I think maybe 30 to 40 people Food: their food was pretty good I’ve had it a couple times now Recommendations: try some of their craft beer they carry or a Mojito Staff: nice but a little slow on service (but it was a Tuesday) Location: it’s a very nice location, pretty nice inside but with all the construction on memorial made sure not to miss it and drive by I really enjoy making these reviews and have given my honest opinion on the place reviewed. I am not the hardest person in the world to be pleased but I have taken the time to try to recommend to people the best I can. I had a great experience there . The drinks are right , the service is prompt and the staff is nice all around . I love to dance and was afraid I would be dancing by myself which is fine by me , when one of the waitresses took a break and danced with me . After that I bought her three shots and she gave me head in a dark light parking area ..twice actually .I highly recommend buying the staff alcohol and tipping heavily , they will reward you with head and ass to be exact . I highly enjoyed my experience here. I just wrote a 1 star review about Hungrys (both places are connected) but this was different. The menu was simple and clear, happy hour was cheap as heck. Always looking for a local feeling personal place for food and drink when visiting the energy corridor. This place/ Hungry’s (they are attached) is a repeat visit for me due to its very well done menu, beer connoisseur approved local beer list, and comfortable environment. As an out of towner this area of Houston seems to be really hit or miss but this spot is an exception. The Hungry’s and NextDoor bar relationship is synergetic, not a concession.

Food is always excellent. Service is prompt, and the location is perfect for an afternoon bite in the energy corridor. The owner walks around all the time to make sure his guests are happy.

We always host our company Christmas party here. They have a good selection and the good is always enjoyed by all. The service is wonderful. The staff does a great job.

We live within walking distance of this place and given how good their Happy Hour and drinks are, that is a good thing! For how often we go, I'm embarrassed to not have any food or drink pic's to post, but we have never been disappointed with either. Whether you order from the bar bites menu or ask for the full menu from Hungry's next door, everything is great! We've had everything from the pizza, gyro's, salads with salmon or chicken, kabobs, sandwiches and it is all great. We go at least once per week and the staff is awesome - very attentive and accommodating. Really nothing negative to say except that access can be challenging with the construction on Memorial, but they are rapidly making progress on this stretch so that should change soon.

The bar is alright and has a lot of potential, but the music is honestly not great most nights. I really wish they would add a jukebox or let customers have more control over the music, because this place would probably be packed if the vibe was better. That being said, Music Bingo is AMAZING. The guy who runs it is on point, and the music after Bingo is also really good because he is working the music for a little bit. Sucks when he isn’t working it. One other thing, the hours are weird for a bar. They close pretty early, which doesn’t make much sense. In past always good, usually sit inside, but crowded, so sat outside & service was never offered to my sister and i, had to go inside for my stuff.

This bar is in a converted Jiffy Lube! They kept the roll-up doors and open them when the weather is nice. Drinks are priced about what you'd expect for this level of establishment. The drinks are good, but the menu isn't particularly extensive.

Neat little place. Lots of mixed drinks to choose from, if that's your bag. Food was decent. Great Happy Hour specials on food and drinks! Prices are decent. Parking kinda stinks but I'd go back.

The bar was good and the service was even better. We had a big party there on a Sunday and they were able to reserve a whole corner for us which made the party easy. Drinks were a bit pricy and they didn't have many specials, but again the service was good.

Nice place. The prices during happy hour are great. The place feels like it would be expensive but it isn't, even during non-happy hour. The parking feels like it should be a bit bigger but I had no issues (on a Wednesday night).

This was a quick stop to grab a drink and a quick bite to eat while we waited for our next event. Good service and drinks. A place that offers Happy Hour on a Saturday is always a winner.

Good bar. I think it's overhyped because it's pretty much the nicest bar on Memorial/Eldridge Parkway area. I HATE the parking here, it's kind of non existent so you have to use their valet or park somewhere randomly away. It's always super crowded for happy hour and most of time music was pretty loud - never had an easy time hearing people in here. Food is good though. I had their appetizer pizza and really enjoyed it. But from what I remember drinks prices were on the pricey side.

Good place to hang out with friends for happy hour. It is an extension of Hungry's and acts as its bar. It is pretty solid place nothing totally special. Is more lounge than bar. If you are into light bites and drinks this place makes sense.

Patio seating was nice but they need to improve the coverage of the fans especially in a Houston summer - they blew in odd angles and couldn't be moved too actually help those of us sitting at the tables on the patio. All in all not the best happy hour in the area.

Was completely ignored by waitstaff we had to go to bar to order drinks & every table around us was getting service.

No draft beers when I went and service was pretty bad.

Waitress could not speak English. Got 2 of the 4 orders wrong. Tray with food was dropped so we had to wait twice as long for our food.

Terrible service tonight. Asked twice and waited forever for a glass of water. Constantly sitting with empty drinks waiting for the server. The manager agreed to remove the appetizer we never received from the bill.

Weird place... no music in the bar, everyone was whispering. The manager showed me multiple pics of his cat on his naked belly before asking me to sign an arbitration agreement to opt out of civil and class action lawsuits (guess what kind of lawsuit sexual harassment is). NO THANKS.

Used to be a great place to go. Now it’s just a hole in the wall. Going through renovations so hopefully it’ll improve in the future.

I’m really disappointed that this place has such a great bar and location and menu yet can’t seem to schedule enough servers. The 2 servers were more concerned with the party going on rather than my table of two people. I understand you make more money off of a party but you don’t ignore your other tables. I’m a bartender and understand things get hectic but that’s not how you run a business. It shouldn’t take 45 mins to have someone come to our table. It shouldn’t take 20 minutes for a drink to come out. Part of me wonders if maybe we didn’t get service is because my boyfriend is black. The other small tables had fresh beer and food. Regardless y’all need to get it together.

The drinks are great but the manager was horrible and I order Honey salmon with mash potatoes and broccoli . It came out extremely cold so I just ask to remake it fresh. How bout they brought me the same salmon out and just cut it up. I ask the waiter can she bring her manager. First of all I could not get her name no name tag on how Ever I ask why this the second time my food coming out cold and why did they cut up my salmon to act like it was a fresh new one. The manager going to say oh no I was in the kitchen when he freshly made it. When I showed her my fork mark she’s going to say oh let me take it back and make it fresh I am so sorry bout that Ugh just made me more mad 😠 I will drink from there but never ever eat their again.

Very Bad Experience!!! We play soccer close by every Thursday so we are minimum a party of 6+. Rack up pretty good bill. However, the service has become terrible with every visit. We are not the type of people that will call manager or complain in hope of getting a free drink. However, today we got tired of this crappy service, we always sit outside and today the waitress passed us three-four time no hi I will be back, nothing we do not exist. So after 15mins we went to the bar and ordered. So we got two big beer wells and glasses carried them by our selfs. Out side is dark so we didn't see that in two of the glasses there was lettuce. We noticed after the glasses were full of beer no problem, went and got new glasses. So when we were done we split the bill between all of us, the cash was applied to the bill and the rest was paid by cards at the bar. Four of us that were paying with cards left 0.02 tip. This is my first time I have done so for 10 years in the US normally 20% if service is bad 10%. Anyways, I was expecting for the bartender to ask what was wrong, why in a polite manner? In a screaming response I got "What you are levying me 0.02 F**k this by throwing the receipts towards me on the bar. The people in the lounge were looking at him and me. I responded that there is a reason for this and that the service was poor every time we came. His response was "Then why are you coming ?" and he is right will never step foot in that place. By the way the place is very well decorated and nice but terrible service. If I was the owner would have more waitresses out side and won't let them take shots with customers while other customer are waiting for 20mins. Also provide the minimum training. On previews occasion we waited 20 min for beer and water and she got the order wrong.

Wow drove 25 minutes through traffic to make the “happy hour”. The place is just a room under construction, no host stand, no bar, no waiter stations and just one guy working. No draft beers and everything had to come from next door. The place stank and was empty. No exscuse for this as a simple website update would have saved me the trip. Instead I will never return and frequent one of the many other great spots in Houston. Save your time and money!

Happy Sunday! I just wanted to reach out and firstly say, love your restaurant. After relocating to the Energy Corridor from Bellaire, I was thrilled once I found Nextdoor considering Upstairs was one of my faves! However I just wanted to offer a small bit of advice. I came to watch the game last night and had awful service lol. I know because I come from the industry. The happy hour specials that were posted on your Instagram page for the Astros game was not something that was greeted with a warm welcome. I was given wine and basically left unattended which would have been fine if I had all the items I needed.I appreciate the manager comp for my pizza (although I didn't ask)but it was the cold, awkward and unwanted atmosphere that made me box of my things and leave. I felt extremely awkward and didn't get the best service (I still tipped $5 on $10). But I just wanted to give a bit of constructive criticism. I did drive over to Upstairs so my money still went towards capital lol. But yea last night was extremely uncomfortable for me. I originally sent this in a private message to avoid a public post, but since I can't get ahold of anyone, I'll try here.

Tonight the place was not busy but could not get any attention. Never received a menu. Left after waiting for more than 10 minutes. It seems that customers are an inconvenience to this establishment. Won't be going back. Been before and the burgers are okay, nothing special.
