This is one of my frequent places to eat for a delicious burger. Today was exceptionally nice because the service was amazing. Mary (floor supervisor according to her shirt name tag) was so friendly when dropping off our food. Burgers are pretty big so my daughter and i decided to split a meal and she asked if we were splitting and I said yes. She asked to take it to the bag to eventually cut it for us since the butter knife are not the best she said. She came back with a perfectly even split burger. Sometimes its the small things that make a dinning experience exceptional. The entire staff is always friendly. The only con at this place every time is the parking.

Haven't been here in awhile. Food is still great. Got the BBQ burger, Bacon & Parm fries and Vietnamese coffee shake. Big portions, almost couldn't finish! Very good though. Covered outdoor seating is nice, but bugs can be an issue.

This is a review of a mushroom burger cooked medium and fries. Disclaimer, Im slightly tipsie as I write this. That damn burger was amazing. There was no resistance. Bun soft, burger juicy and flavorful. Fries were thick cut and soft. I got honey mustard which was a great compliment for the fries and they give you a ton of fries. Will definitely add this to my late night rotation. Restaurant also seemed live on a Sunday night.

THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!! IT'S MASSSSIVE!!!! the fries are amazing everythingvus so fresh and FILLING. The peanut butter shake is mind-blowing!! The blueberries shake has tons of fresh blueberries in it. The staff is so pleasant and kind this is our new to go spot!!!!!

This wasn't our first time popping in, but it was the first time we've had the burgers (we've grabbed shakes previously-which are amazing). We'd been to the library and wanted to grab dinner before fighting traffic to head home north of the city. Service was great, an option to get a burger bowl was insanely appreciated and the burgers & fries are yummy ... be sure to request the fries well done, otherwise they're a bit too soggy PS-I might have missed it, but the burger bowls have a handful of fries on them, which was awesome so I didn't need to steal fries from the kids!

I really love Burger Giant! The location is great and the outdoor seating area is super nice. I like that they started as a food truck and grew into a full restaurant—such a cool story. The burgers are so delicious, and I heard they use halal meat, which is perfect for Muslims, Arabs, or anyone who prefers halal food. The place is very clean and has lots of big screens to watch games or anything you like. The vibe is cozy and relaxed. It’s family-friendly and kids-friendly too—they even have a kids’ menu. The service is amazing—everyone is super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. You really feel taken care of. It’s not like other burger places—it feels special. Definitely recommend trying it out!

Love the burger - jalapeno ranch burger on med. rare burger. Total price with sweet potato fries and butter pecan milkshakes was $30 for lunch. It's expensive lunch for a burger. Burger taste was good, sweet potato fries was ok but came in great portion. Milk shake was ok, could be better. It's a cold weather, they provided tower heaters. I will visit this place again.

This is a very good hamburger place! This might be the best burger I’ve had anywhere in the US. I highly recommend this place! The BBQ burger was outstanding and so was the Mexi burger. These burgers were so big it’s almost hard to take a bite! We tried the onion rings and the fries and both were good. The fries were very good! The burgers are big and so are the sides so come hungry. We could have easily shared a side. The craft beer selection is good and not overwhelming. The patio seating and tabs are great for hanging out with friends and watching a game or two. The staff is excellent! Stop reading this and get over to the Burger Joint!

The mushroom burger was great! The hot Nashville chicken sandwich left a lot to be desired. Sweet potato fries were excellent. I liked the atmosphere and the sound track. What topped it all was Mary, the great server and table clearer!! Definitely worth your time to try it out.

I visited this spot recently and was thoroughly impressed. While it's primarily known as a burger joint, you absolutely cannot miss their Friday Fish and Chips special. The portion size was huge and easily justified the price. More importantly, the quality was fantastic—the fish was perfectly crispy, and the potato wedges that came with it were seasoned and cooked just right. It’s an excellent, high-quality meal. ​Beyond the food, the outside patio is a major highlight, especially on a beautiful day. It’s a comfortable, relaxed setting that makes dining outdoors a pleasure. It’s also clearly a great place to watch a game, as they have TVs showing sports strategically placed around the restaurant. Finally, the service really shines; the staff are nice and attentive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. ​A solid four-star experience—great food, great atmosphere, and great service!

HOUSTON - MONTROSE: The burgers on the average very consistent. True to ingredient flavor profiles. However, the french fries are a bit greasy. STAFF SERVICE: The best thing at this location in general is the good service you receive. The staff is very helpful, and attentive. The management is very responsive with communication. ATMOSPHERE: It's mostly an outdoor location, with umbrellas and covered deck seating. The fans are on way too high, feels like you are eating in the wind tunnel. The parking is horrible at night. Overall, if you're getting it to go, it's a safe bet and I recommend it.

Just getting into Houston for a month’s stay, we were craving a good old-fashioned burger—and that’s exactly what we found at The Burger Joint on Montrose. This place is truly a hidden gem. Parking is definitely sparse, but once we found a spot and walked in, we immediately felt the vibe: casual, like an outdoor BBQ at home. It wasn’t loud, but had a nice, chatty energy. The ordering process was simple—look over the menu, order at the counter, grab your drinks, and sit. The woman who took our order was warm and welcoming, which set the tone right away. The dining area was clean, the tables spotless, and the place had a steady hum of activity. Large TVs line the walls, and since it was Sunday, football was on everywhere—though the one near us had the Sonic Slide Games, which was a fun change of pace. Our food came out quickly, hot and fresh. My wife had the Classic Burger with cheese and onion rings. The Angus beef patty was juicy and flavorful, topped with crisp, fresh veggies. The onion rings were outstanding—hot, crunchy, and perfect with their spicy ketchup (which was a winner all on its own). My son ordered the Fire Burger, loaded with serrano and jalapeño peppers, pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, and their signature Fire Sauce. He loved it. His queso fries were equally impressive—cheesy, hot, and the perfect pairing for a spicy burger. I went with the Nashville Hot Chicken Sando, and it hit the mark. A big chicken breast with just the right amount of heat, paired with slaw and pickles for balance. The hand-cut fries that came with it were excellent—crispy, crunchy, and I really appreciated the variety in fry sizes, which made them extra fun to eat. We also noticed their cups advertised Taco Bar and Pizza Bar, which tells us this group knows how to do comfort food right. All in all, the food was fantastic, the atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and the prices felt like a great value. This will definitely be one of our go-to spots while we’re in Houston.

There isn't much to say about this place. I love the location. The Burger Joint is located in a cool side of town and seems to be a really cool hang be it with friend, loved ones, or just to take it the views or watch a game by yourself. As far as the food is concerned, I had a BBQ burger, and while it was stacked tall, I only managed to eat half of it, like a good boy 🤣. Had a side of Queso fries and they were MEH. The food was good, I wasn't blown away though. I might come back to try a shake.

alright burgers. fries could be cooked a bit more. just overhyped tbh. tried their chicken sandwich and regular burger. both r just regular tasting and overpriced. would def recommend going somewhere else for better taste + price. sitting area is nice though
