During my four-hour layover, I had the pleasure of spending time in the United Polaris lounge, and it truly exceeded my expectations. As soon as I entered, I was struck by the elegant ambiance and the thoughtful design of the space. The lounge was surprisingly spacious and quiet, offering a variety of seating arrangements, from plush armchairs to intimate booths, ensuring that everyone could find a comfortable spot to unwind. The food options were fantastic, catering to a range of tastes. I appreciated the choice between self-service and a more formal seated dining experience. The self-serve area was well-stocked with an impressive selection of gourmet snacks and beverages, while the restaurant offered a menu filled with delightful culinary creations. I indulged in a couple of dishes that were both beautifully presented and delicious. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and attentive, readily available to assist with any questions or requests. Their enthusiasm for providing excellent service made the experience even more enjoyable. I felt completely at ease leaving my belongings by my seat as I explored the lounge, which added to the reassuring atmosphere. Overall, my time in the United Polaris lounge was not just satisfactory—it was surprisingly remarkable. I left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a wonderful airport experience.

Had a 2 hours stay at the Polaris lounge before my trip and the experience was as I expected. Clean lounge, good food and drinks, friendly staff, and sufficient facilities and space. I had to change from my business costume to travel attire and wanted to use the shower suites and the lady sort of integrated before allowing. That was pretty unnecessary to be honest. After scanning the boarding pass, she was fine and also offered me a towel but I would expect lesser friction in future. I had zero waiting at the Dining Room and ate corn fritters and ice cream. Gates are closeby and I had fun!

United is a mediocre airline with terrible ground staff in most locations. Unfortunately, being a Star Alliance Gold member, I often have to fly United. However, they do one thing extremely well and that is the Polaris Lounge concept. We have visited many of their lounges in various US locations and they are great! This one, in Houston, is fantastic - the staff is exceedingly friendly, accommodating, and professional. The food is very good, and the complimentary bar is fantastic. We tipped well, and everyone should because the staff deserves it. Can’t wait to come back.

Always a nice time in the Polaris Lounge, the best lounges in the US. Nice food, free short order restaurant, free bar, assorted snacks and drinks, and good seating options. A quiet room with a couple lounge chairs come in handy. The best part are the agents available to immediately assist you in person if your flight got delayed or bags lost. I've always had great service here, received help in booking free hotels, discussing what costs incurred by delays would be recoverable, etc.

One of the best lounge experiences in the industry. Plated meals, premium bar, comfortable seating, individual bathrooms, and it's never crowded. Also, a dynamite view overlooking the tarmac. Great product United!

Of course during non-peak hours, all Polaris lounges are super wonderful as are the amenities, such as showers, for example. It's nice to have a Service desk inside Polaris. The service is excellent during slow parts of the day, but goes down hill otherwise. The food, I feel, is not as wonderful as in previous years. Compared to foreign premium lounges, Polaris could improve. Compared to other US carriers, Polaris remains the best.

Impressive lounge Professional and pleasant customer service. Very clean, spacious lounge with great amenities Nice and well equipped shower room. Food and drinks were amazing. Do drop by when you are at Houston airport. Highly recommended !

A lounge that delivers on the Polaris promise. Spacious (there is a normal United Club next door, helps). Plenty of warm dishes (empanadas, cilantro rice, Argentinian stew) as well as salads and desserts (cookies, etc). There is a beautiful bar, if you are so inclined. They also have a restaurant type sit down service. There are many types of seating, depending on what your rear end prefers. All in all, a greater experience.

It is a nice place to relax if you have access to it. I think the minimum is buying a business class ticket, you can get in if you have one of their elite status. The food is good and views nice. Good place to do some plane spotting.

Despite only being available for international business class passengers, this lounge still remains extremely busy and hard to get a seat. Buffet has ordinary offerings and could certainly be improved, whereas all-day dining always has an hour (if not longer) waiting to be seated.

Extreme disappointing! I was excited at connecting in Houston to visit the lounge before our international evening flight and was shocked to see the dining section closed and no more hot dishes being served at the buffet. Upon inquiry, I was informed that the dining section and the hot foods on the buffet are closed at 7:30 pm! That seems extremely early and a disservice for international travelers taking an evening flight. For example, we are taking the 8:45 pm to São Paulo. Extremely disappointed.
