Wow, hello! This place is so great. I came in because I was early for my train expecting to get a boring sandwich, but I got a quarter of a chicken (white meat) two huge sides and two dipping sauces for under $20. It was SO GOOD!!! Texted my husband that we need to come back for date night. Huge shout out to the cook and staff! Definitely will be back.

Kitty's market has good veggies, cheese, eggs bread and meats. Along with basic toiletries if you need something you forget. Right next to the train.

Super hip and friendly restaurant with superb creative drinks on par w some of the best in Boston (I'm thinking of the old Hawthorne in Hotel Commonwealth). The food is inventive fresh and absolutely delish. Hubby, who is a carnivore, actually loved their chicory salad- too beautiful to eat, but we certainly did. Had the oysters, pork belly and clams. Pork belly was a good hunk of meat on a fluffy buttery brioche toast. Clams and beans were interesting, points for creativity but not as good as the other dishes that we had. Eclectic fun crowd, relaxed ambiance. Overall a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend.

We visited Kitty's for breakfast on our honeymoon and ended up coming back on our way home at the end of the trip. It was that good. After our trip, we ranked Kitty's our top meal. We had the breakfast sandwich with sauerkraut and bacon, the buckwheat chocolate marble cake, and a cruller. All three were the best versions of those dishes that we have had in a long time. We ended up picking up crullers for our family on the way home, so they could try them. We would come to Hudson just for Kitty's.

Really great food and drinks in a cute setting. Kitty’s is across the street from the train station which is convenient.

Kitty’s is a destination spot. The food is extraordinary - great fish choice, steak filet perfectly cooked medium rare . Starters were wonderful - a croquette to die for!!! A subtle cornucopias of flavors in the sauce with the perfectly cooked Hake. And the service was perfect - totally discreet but so attentive . We loved our evening !!!

Y'all... If you're here for a little getaway from NYC visiting the hudson/catskill area, this place is for you for some breakfast/ lunch. As someone gluten free, the bread with the breakfast sandwich is amazing, tastes like a brioche from back in the glutenous days. Get it with bacon if you're a meat eater. Funky little shop as well with great vibes, one side is the shop the other is where you can sit down. Came here two days in a row... yum yum yum!! The soup w the rice noodles is also amazing, pho-ish and great to-go if you wanna go to local adventures like Olana. Thank you Kitty's 💖

I rarely write reviews, but I bought a half pint of Kitty's chicken salad from the to-go case for a quick lunch and WOW I was blown away. I will be back for that item alone!!

I want to cry just thinking about how delicious the black-out cookie, strong coffee and fried fingerlings side are. The place is adorable and has great grocery basics as well as fun products, great service and great outdoor seating!

OMG. One of my best best meals In a very long time. First of all This little place has the best vibe. Wonderful -artsy -friendly -good music . My server Remy was so kind and helpful. I had the quarter rotisserie chicken with salad and jasmine rice and sumac yogurt. Holy Jesus. Amazing . Everything made so perfectly. How could I have been visiting Hudson all This time and never discovered this jewel before today?? I’ll Be back many many many times. That’s for sure

This place is awesome! Got the chicken for two with savoy Caesar salad (yum!!), veggies and potatoes. The chocolate chip cookies are insane too - get one for later. Food came out quick and fresh. Loved sitting in the backyard

We didn't go into the market, just ordered from the window and took it straight into the garden which is really pleasant. Definitely recommend coming here to eat on a day when the weather is decent. They don't have many breakfast options but we both enjoyed the granola/yogurt thing. It looks like they are going to be opening a full service restaurant soon.

I thought I didn't like deviled eggs until Kitty's, even ordered a second round! Everything we ordered from drinks to dessert was delicious, nostalgic dishes with a twist.

D

I have to edit my review to echo what I've seen in multiple 1 start reviews: the service is really rude(with exception of Z who was an amazing server, if she's still there; also Exec Chef was especially hospitable), especially the hostess- condescending. Menu was creative, interesting and all flavors prepared perfectly. Raw oysters perfectly Fresh. What a unexpectedly expansive modern earthy clean barn-style event space with lush gardens full of perennials, herbs, ornamental grasses. They have done an amazing job in their use of space and angles, lighting, mood, style, attention to detail, etc. Fine dining in a casual, chill atmosphere, not competing with the congestion on Warren. Peaceful spot.

My husband and I are still dreaming about the chicken fat potatoes with lemon aioli...the chicken, garlicky rice, potatoes plus the cute outdoor oasis are all worth the 1.5 hour drive!

Delicious lunch right near the train station. Quarter chicken and side dishes was good. Same with salad with chicken. The staff was very nice and attentive and the interior environment was lively but not too loud.

We we really really liked our meal here. But what will go down in history for us is the sesame sourdough toast. It is the best bread I’ve ever had in my life. It was so fresh and warm and pillowy and tasty. I still think about it five months later!!!

Hands down the best service I’ve had in New York. I never even write Google reviews but felt I had to because it was so great. Tracy-Lynn was just a superstar and Petra was a queen. 100% reccomend and will be back

If you are ever within 100 miles range of Hudson, go to Kitty’s. Take the train from Penn Station like I did yesterday, and be amazed. I was waiting for a ride to head east to the Berkshires, but I very nearly ditched all plans in order to stay. Who made this takeout salad??!? It’s an astonishing piece of work. In any case what I bought from the grocery counter has ensured a magical journey of gastronomical discovery. So a profound thank you to all at Kitty’s and in this case especially the person behind the counter.

I come to Hudson from NYC to get my haircut (long story, don’t judge). I love sitting on the bar, have some yummy food and a good cocktail and then run across the street for the train. Excellent experience every time !

I always make sure to stop here whenever I’m in the area for the breakfast sandwich! It’s perfect and unique and alongside the hash browns, it’s the best start to the day. This post was made in connection with a Toast promotion.

Don’t sleep on this BEC sando because honestly the sauerkraut is life changing. I sort of ordered this because it was the only menu item that wasn’t a baked good. I was not prepared for the amazing flavor. I had bacon, hubs had sausage which he said was good spicy. The hasbrowns were terrific but the sandwich really is the star here. Will definitely be back, maybe even tomorrow.

Super cute café and market across from the Amtrak station. Popular with neighborhood locals. The breakfast sandwich is a must — with sauerkraut. Well edited selection of sweets, snacks, farm fresh eggs, and meats. And incredibly friendly staff.

Right across from the Hudson Train station! It’s location is perfect. There is a great variety of drinks and snack in the market. One of the best fried chicken sandwiches and kielbasa sandwiches. I highly recommend trying both! YUMMY!!!

Unbelievably tasty takeout lunch - not a thing I would change about it. The half-portion rotisserie chicken with three sides ($32) is generous enough to split, which is what we did. The garlic rice was the best I've had outside of Filipino establishments -- there were no throwaway components on the plate. We left delighted and eager to return.

How does someone not visit Kitty's when they're in Hudson, NY? I had been thinking about the egg and cheese sandwich that I read about all weekend and they did not disappoint! So delish! Loved the vibe in the restaurant and quickly visited the cute market next door too. Special thank you to Heavenly the hostess who was so welcoming and warm, and my server Julia who was awesome. Highly recommend if you are in Hudson. I'll definitely be back!

I love Kitty’s for its relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. I had the breakfast sandwich on the brunch menu and it was awesome. Their chicken dishes are superb too. And the bar is a great place to hang out and eat at, even if you’re by yourself.

This was one of the most amazing dining establishments I have ever visited. The rotisserie chicken is possibly the best I ever had. It comes with chinese style hot oil - and it's the best variant I ever tasted. The sides are huge and amazing. Everything is compostable for the most part (wrappers, utencils, sauce cups). Friendly staff, gorgeous outdoor backyard space. Shop has local meats. Coffee is very smooth and delicious. The fact that a restaurant can be this environmentally friendly yet affordable amazes me. I hope other restaurants can follow suit.

Kittys offers dinner now! Beautiful Kinderhook lamb chops, fresh young celery salad, and the next was a unique Beans and clams with a watercress pesto. Sooo good! Drinks and wine are thoughtful and great as well. Will be back.

The rotisserie chicken is moist and flavorful! Ordered a quarter chicken with Savoy cabbage ceasar style and the roasted potatoes. Everything was spot on in terms of flavors that complimented each other. Good selection of beverages and basic groceries as well. The coffee is great as well. We enjoyed our meal in the garden out back- tables and umbrellas throughout a garden setting with flowers in bloom. Simple and delicious!

Best breakfast sandwich in Hudson. And still available after 1pm (a must since most spots run out too early or are no longer serving at this time). We sat at the bar and service was fast and friendly.

Had a wonderful time visiting Kitty’s. While the menu is limited, their offerings are very tasty, fresh and of the highest quality. We had egg sandwiches, several of their fresh pastries and coffee… it was tremendous! The staff was incredibly friendly, even letting me explore the closed dining room. Taylor, Lilo and the rest of the staff, thank you for your hospitality on our visit!

Loved it here! As soon as I got off the train, I stopped here for a late lunch and it was great! The “spinning chicken” comes in different serving sizes with a choice of two sides. There is outdoor seating in the back (I think there are renovation plans for a larger indoor seating area too). The staff was super nice! I also got some provisions and snacks. If nothing else you have to get the chocolate chip cookies from here. Be aware that they are not currently open daily, so check online before you go. If you’re taking Amtrak to or from Hudson, this is a must as soon as you get off the train and/or before you head back.

Absolutely delicious and super fun Jazz brunch!!! The "traveling hashbrowns" were the star of the show but we also loved the skillet cake. Lovely backyard seating among flowers and butterflies. We'll definitely be back!

Wowowow! First off, the space is welcoming and very cute. For lunch, we split a quarter chicken with slaw and potatoes. We also each had a cruller. Each element was genuinely incredible- the food here is absolutely worth the price! Lots of cute gifts and groceries are available as well.

Top notch breakfast sandwiches. The cinnamon roll is crazy and innovative. Cruller is objectively perfectly executed. Place is a little overrun with tourists (due to proximity to train station?) but it’s worth it.

A large group of us recently visited Kittys and we all had a wonderful experience. The food was very enjoyable, the service was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was welcoming for our group. We did make a reservation in advance because of our group size and the manager we talked to through email explained things very well and organized it all perfectly. When we arrived everything was exactly what was agreed upon which is always a great thing. The food portions were a bit larger than expected but that is never a bad thing and it was great to take some extra food home.

Kitty’s is a charming little spot conveniently located right next to the Amtrak station in Hudson, which makes it a great stop whether you're coming into town or heading out. The location alone is a major plus. The shop offers a wide variety of items, ranging from pantry goods to drinks and baked treats. However, when it comes to fresh food options—especially in the morning—the menu is a bit limited. In fact, the only breakfast meal on offer is an egg and cheese sandwich. That said, it’s a solid one—well-made, satisfying, and flavorful. It also comes with the option of a hash brown on the side, which I definitely recommend. Crispy, well-seasoned, and just the right portion. I do believe that they are priced on the bit of the higher end. They also had a selection of baked goods on display. While I didn’t get the chance to try them, they looked fresh and genuinely tempting. As tasty as they look, I wasn’t willing to pay what I thought was an excessive price for baked goods that weren’t even coming from the bakery. Overall, Kitty’s is worth a visit, especially if you're looking for a quick, tasty bite before hopping on a train or exploring Hudson. Just don’t expect a full brunch menu—come for the quality, not the quantity.

7/18 update: The feta herb scone is absolutely delightful!! Light sweet taste, hard, crisp exterior, soft, airy interior! Yum!! 😋 Lovely, quirky, colorful, flavorful, diverse options/flavors (but not overwhelming). What a charming place for my matcha and cruller. Coffee Cruller was decadent and flavorful and powerful! Perfectly soft with a slight crispy edge. Matcha had a nice light sweet hint (just from the oatmilk--nothing added , and no strong "earthy" taste).

What a treat. Great food, atmosphere, and location. We happened upon this place as we were waiting for an Amtrak. We had the best coffee and egg sandwiches. Seated on the bar side in a cute corner. There’s also cool outdoor spaces. The general store had so many goodies we picked up for the rest of our trip. 100 percent coming back here next time at the beginning of the next trip to Hudson to load up on provisions.

I have been here twice in the last month. I love this place. Probably the best egg sandwich and the best roast chicken that I have had. Both are a tad more expensive than other places, but you get a high quality product and that will keep me coming back.

OMG, be prepared for revelations. The menu is simple, the egg sandwiches on point, traveling hash browns melt in your mouth, donuts are literally the best in my over four decade lifespan (and I don’t like donuts), and their premade salads are heavenly. Each bite was orgasmic here. Bought salads to go, and found them flavorful and satisfying. Their little market is well stocked with so many tantalizing goodies, that will be sure to mesmerize. Do yourself a favor; and check this place off your foodie list ✨

Loved this little cafe and market! My partner and I came in around 12:45ish on 12/30 and was moderately busy. We enjoyed looking around at the lovely unique snacks and goods they had - fun place to stop when you get off the train and pick up a few things! We tried to order a breakfast sandwich and the pulled pork but they were out of the pulled pork so definitely recommend coming earlier if you specifically want this. We were not disappointed though - we ended up getting two breakfast sandwiches, one with the smoked bacon and the other with chicken sausage. Also got an order of the hashbrowns. Absolutely love the simplicity of the sandwiches with the small twist of the sauerkraut. SO delicious! The hashbrowns were rolled into dense balls and came with ketchup. Also delicious - my only regret is not getting a side of the breakfast aioli with these! Can’t wait to come back!

The hype is real. The egg sandwich with chicken sausage and sauerkraut was so good. That is an interesting combo but it worked. Delicious. The hash browns were like hush puppies and you could tell they put a lot of effort into making them. The vanilla cruller was also a highlight. They don’t have a ton of food options but they do everything well. What a good find.

We stopped here every day on our trip. I'll forever add sauerkraut to my egg sandwiches now because of them. So delicious. Loved the walk up window where you can place orders and pick up food to go. Conveniently located across the street from the train station. They have a huge, beautiful outdoor patio with spaced out tables. The market is full of local goods and products, stop in for a taste of NY. The locals rave about their rotisserie chicken meals!

The Travelling Hashbrowns were yummy! The Hummus & Crudites and the Fried Chicken Sandwich were good as well. However service was slightly slow and they also missed our Hashbrown order. Apart from that, the place was nicely decorated and the toilets were cool!

The quarter chicken with 2 sides was great. The potato sides was decently generously and was crispy. The rice was also flavorful, with a melted butter herb topping on top. The grilled cheese was decent. The chicken noodle soup was fairly disappointing, was small for an entree side and the flavor was just so-so. Service was pretty good

Conveniently located across the street from Hudson Station. Somewhat limited menu ... Afternoon I went, they ran out of chicken which is their only meat on the menu. The salad was great and the fingering potatoes excellent.

Stepping out of the train station it’s impossible to miss Kitty’s and its satellite businesses. My party had two very nice experiences here on a trip up from NYC and was totally charmed by the cafe and restaurant as well as the wine store next door. If you get a chance, stop by Grapefruit Wine for rare additions to your bar cart. Our party of six was seated a little late for our reservation (there was a wedding that evening) and waited longer to place orders - totally understandable. Standouts included the mushroom croquettes (delicious, especially the sauce), squash (refreshing), hake (light white fish with sparkling vegetable side), and a few other mains/sides I didn’t try. For dessert, the large chocolate cake slice was presented with a song, which really made the night. At meals end all plates were clean! The wine selection was lovely, I especially liked the Verduzzo orange wine. Service was strong. Although we had a large group, no detail was missed. Some of the menu was slightly confusing - it seemed some “large” plates were meant for one, some for two. Some of our pickier diners quibbled about the cook on the steak, though others disputed this. The ambience is unparalleled for dinner and I have high expectations for the breakfast sandwich when I come back.

E
Emily Tantuccio

When we walked into Kitty's and tried to order, we were disappointed to find that despite the fact their two food menus on the website are named tabs "dinner" and "brunch", that they actually have a different and pared down menu for breakfast during the week, with the brunch offerings only being made available on the weekend. IMO, this is poor marketing and is something that should be clearly communicated on the website since there was no indicator mentioning that the eggs and rice dish is not available M-T, and I went there expecting to order it. My breakfast sandwich, hashbrowns and latte were really great. Note that they do have gluten free bread. Atmosphere is cute.

g

It’s said that if available, ordering the roast chicken will truly showcase the chef’s skills. This bird I ordered was so perfectly cooked, I began with my least favorite part-the breast, and almost forgot the equally delicious leg and thigh! Slight delay with our service for drinks, but nonetheless highly recommend Kitty’s.

Visited for breakfast on a Saturday morning in late August. Had a reasonably tasty breakfast sandwich here. The sauerkraut is an interesting touch. Not sure I’d go for the sauerkraut again, though. Also had some potatoes because the hash browns were not available. Service wasn’t especially quick but it wasn’t bad. Limited outdoor seating. Interesting selection of other food items available. Decent range of local beers in the fridge. Prices, on average, seemed a bit high to me. I’d happily come back here but would be keen to try a meal besides Alastair.

The girl at the counter was very sweet. Nothing special about the atmosphere other than a very cute little market had the blueberry pop tart the bacon cheese, scone, the Vietnamese, coffee, donuts, and coffee. The coffee was great. The Vietnamese donut was good, but the topping did not taste anything like coffee. The pop tart was super fresh blueberries the bacon cheese scone was just OK but very flavorful. Would go back!

Tasty but very expensive breakfast sandwich, which I guess is expected for Hudson. That said, I’m not sure any egg with sausage breakfast sandwich is worth $19. I was hungover and wanted to support a local shop so felt like the right thing to do. Without factoring in price, I’d give it a 4.5 star but taking pricing into consideration, its prob a 4. The cafe itself had cool (but also expensive, overpriced) items to browse while waiting for your order

The food was really amazing. Like honestly some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. Even the potatoes and their miso slaw was so unique and so delicious. The outside seating was very pretty but I was constantly being attacked by bee’s which is not their fault but just stating. I got an iced tea and asked for it sweet but it wasn’t very good and the cashier was a bit rude. But the food was really good so definitely would come back.

Conveniently right across the train station. We came here for breakfast and they had a refreshingly small menu. The food was very good! The decor was very retro and the breakfast sandwich was excellent. As other commentators have mentioned, the hash browns are to die for. Would have given it 5 stars if it didnt have NYC prices, but that's Hudson I guess.

First time at Kitty’s after reading some blogs about it. We were a party of 4 and went for dinner on Wednesday night. We decided to share appetizers and small plates, so we didn’t order any large plates. We wanted to try as many of their offerings as we could because the menu was very interesting. The atmosphere is chic and well-designed, but a bit loud when the bar is full, which it was. Kitty frozen tiki cocktail was strong and tasty. We really enjoyed the savory selection and liked the variety. Flavor pairing were unique and produce was very fresh. The main reason we only provide 4 stars and not 5 is because the dessert was super disappointing after an otherwise delicious meal. It was the Apple galette, which we’ve had many of at many places. This one was a slice of something baked earlier in the day. The apples weren’t flavorful and were dry. The crust was crispy in some spots, but after sitting for the day, it was chewy and not flaky. Sadly, it was served room temperature, which could have been okay if all other aspects are perfect. So sad that it wasn’t as impressive as the savory dishes. Certainly still recommend a visit to this place! Enjoy the seasonal offerings.

Enjoyed dinner here despite service being comically bad. Food was lovely - creative, nice portion size, well-prepared. Between the four of us we covered most of the menu and everyone loved what they got. Cocktails were also extremely well-made. Nice dining room, great bar, comfortable chairs. Would be 4 or 5 stars if service had been competent. Everyone was very nice, but there was a general lack of urgency and disorganization which translated to a disjointed dinner. We ordered 4 appetizers - they came one at a time, over maybe 10 minutes. Each dish was delivered by a different server and none of them knew which dish belonged to which person. This pattern was repeated for the entrees - the final meal coming out so late that the server comped two desserts. Nice gesture but delivered without sincerity. Felt like a good expeditor in the kitchen and floor manager would have made this a great experience.

Food: interesting combinations, many items containing alliums, small portions, flavor was good but overall underwhelming. Atmosphere: since we didn't have a random braid, a beanie, beret or a tattoo, we didn't match the vibe of the majority of the clientele. We weren't judgey about the clientel, but it was obvious that because we didn't have those things the staff was less interested in us. Service: server forgot my coffee order, did try to accommodate my allergy, but argued with me at length about what my allergy was. Became extremely assertive about how others with the same allergy could eat things that I couldn't, seemed irritated and came back from checking with the kitchen to give me safe options and huffed away before I could place an order from those options. We waited for her to return and gave our order (still waiting for my coffee which we realized had been forgotten). Two of the three items we ordered arrived promptly, but one item was missing. When we asked our server about the missing item she told us she had forgotten to let us know that it would take at least 15 minutes. She did offer a complimentary tea, but the tone was extremely condescending with every interaction.

Chicken soup is mid and small and $18 including a %20 tip. Moved to bar as instructed with soup and had to ask for spoon. No one asked if I wanted anything to drink at the bar.

I thought the food was really good, but the whole experience could have been better. The menu includes lots of things that aren't available until later in the day so the breakfast options were actually really limited. I also thought that everything was expensive for what we got. The egg sandwich didn't come with chips or fries or a salad or anything. Maybe I'm just spoiled with NJ diner menus and prices, but I found myself wishing there were more options and wishing I had more food. The art on the walls was very cool and the vibe inside was good. We liked shopping in the market after our meal, but I think we will go elsewhere next time we are in town. It wasn't a bad experience, but it was just mediocre to me.

Pantry items were extremely limited and oddly selected... you’d have $12 crackers next to $2 cup noodles to $10 kombuchas. Food was a bit better though, however the portions are very questionable….

Really good fried chicken sando! Juicy and crispy chicken breast with a sesame seed bun. I give the experience a 3.5 because of the $18 price point. With no sides and $1 extra for sauces I found it very overpriced. Not sure I’d order it again. Came in on a week day and the dine-in restaurant was closed. Might want to check ahead if you’re looking for that.

Went for dinner with their new menu. The food tasted great - but was honestly way overpriced. We were told at the beginning of the meal that the restaurant encouraged “family style” dining, but the dishes were too small for the five of us to share - we got the snack plate and it had one slice of bread. Also they weirdly didn’t have any serving utensils? They brought us regular, small spoons to try to dish up salad and fish. Overall, two entrees and four apps was around $65 each, and left all of us feeling hungry.

I come here often, and the girls working here are always so kind — it’s always a pleasure to return. But for the second time now, the cashier was a guy with long hair, and he was unbelievably rude, unpleasant, and careless. Maybe he has some personal dislike toward me, but for the first time I actually pressed “no tip” because of how off-putting he was. Just a very unpleasant person. With this kind of interaction, I don’t feel like coming back anymore. On top of that, the whole system is not very logical — ordering in one place, sitting in another. Altogether, it’s disappointing.

Where shall I begin… 11 am, need something to munch on before going south along the Hudson River. And what a disappointment this place was. I get it - colourful walls and high-school dropout Jackson Pollock-esque toilet doors, named after a cat. Get all that. But can person taking orders please wake up when the sun is almost at the meridian. I actually had to explain to the host what I needed from the 2 position menu. Was surprised that hashbrowns served on their own. “There are 5”, the answer when asked what it comes with. The instruction is “order at the till and then move inside to wait for your order” (pic attached). Ok, fine. They asked for the name, perfect. Inside the room I asked - is this how it works? “Yes”. Ok, cool. A breakfast sandwich can take 10 mins to make. No happy ending here - the sandwich was lying there all alone waiting for me to pick it up. Glad that I check on it. So it boils down to: bad service, half asleep hosts, ok food. I do not recommend. PS. Expensive for what it’s worth. No tips.

A food article boasts its one of the best breakfast sandwiches in Hudson Valley. False. This was more of a meal outta grade school than a culinary treat. Hashbrowns were unpleasant grease balls. Theyve got nice garden seating, but watch for loud construction nearby.

The food is amazing, the ambience is so cute, and the service is great. However, I came in with a group of ten yesterday and half of our group currently has horrible food poisoning. With bird flu going around, it’s extremely scary when the dishes we ate had chicken and eggs. This was extremely disappointing and I hope kitty’s takes this very seriously to make sure more customers don’t get sick.

We went there for happy hour and dollar oysters. We ordered 24 initially, then another 24 for a couple who joined before the hour was up and another dozen before the end of happy hour. They didn't tell us there was a 24 oyster PER TABLE LIMIT. So we ended up paying full price for the 36 oysters @ $3 each. Would have been nice to know that before we ordered. Other than that. The service was great.

Workers were not very nice. They just were negative people, and said mean things thinking we had left the room which was not very cool at all :( hopefully they will learn to be nice and positive and kind to everyone

A strange vibe. Zombie like. I liked the sauerkraut and eggs. The server seemed clueless. Over priced for what was served. If it wasn't for thier location, I don't think they would last very long. Several servers were huddled around the kitchen as patrons were looking for service. With all of the choices in Hudson, this place is a hard pass.

Super rude person working the counter. Strangely mean and unpleasant both at order and pick up. The person yelled, and I mean yelled, at my wife. I don't ask for much, but this was so unnecessary and really negatively impacted our experience. My wife was nothing but nice to him and this it was entirely unprovoked. I hope this person receives the help they need.

I stopped by this cute restaurant for lunch and ordered a chicken noodle soup for $14+. It arrived in a small bowl, more like a side or appetizer portion, without bread or anything. The taste was just alright, and the portion was unexpectedly small as a lunch menu item—I left still hungry and had to get more food elsewhere.

Cold in dining room. May be new person working the counter. We left after cancelling part of our order and waiting to find out they cancelled the whole order. Worst part was they allow dogs to come in and the person behind the counter with the pee wee Herman haircut said it was there policy. I tried to explain the health departments policy but it was a waste of oxygen.

Party of 4 arrived before 1pm and took a few minutes to look at their menu because not many choices. All the menus except one said the egg sandwich was available until 1 pm. Well when we went to order sandwich plus 3 other different items we were told it was too late and would be very unfair to others to make the egg sandwich at 1:08. No one but us were there place was totally empty so you lost out on a $100 tab because we all left! Odd vibe would never go back

Never going back! Who puts a 3% charge for kitchen when they will not cook your food the way you asked?! Veggie looked like vomit. Large dog sitting next to us was clearly not a service dog. Waitress just wanted a tip made sure to hover over us to make sure got one. I have never had a place ask like this.

Gordon Ramsey would have a field day here. What do you want me to say: they cannot cook, they cannot clean, horrible taste in art used as decor and they are not even polite. We were driving through and got enticed by horribly overrated reviews : seriously one sandwich for breakfast witn egg and a store bought sauerkraut made with vinegar so defo not supporting your gut health. I can service bad food and dirt but lack of basic politeness is final and BIG NO for me; Hudson has better food places to choose from.

Had I looked around and took in the atmosphere before ordering I would have left. The “dining room” was unpleasant. Is leveling tables that hard? Artwork? Not sure what that was on the walls? The cobwebs in the bathroom were so big I should have used them to escape from this place. No real greeting when we walked in. One choice on the menu for breakfast? Is that how much they don’t care to even pretend to be a real restaurant? Egg with sauerkraut on a store bought roll with special sauce? So gross! I wish I would have looked around first to discover the terrible, dingy atmosphere and filth and it would have saved me the headache of eating here.
