Always a fun time at Hudson Brew! They have great food and a good variety of craft beer.
This the place to go to for fresh brewed craft beer, great food and amazing staff. The Brewery carries a variety of alcohol made in NY State. There is Bourbon, vodka, gin and wine. All top quality stuff. The food truck features Smash Burgers, Pulled Pork, Pulled beef and Buffalo wings all made on sight. This is great place to relax and unwind
We took a train into Hudson from NYC, and we needed a place to hang out while waiting for a pick up. This is a short (kind of awkward) walk away from the train station in a large warehouse-type strip. There's a nice beer selection, and they had a few frozen concoctions available. The real hero was the food truck. The nachos were SO GOOD. If I'm ever back in Hudson, I'll be stopping by.
Great beer and a great staff, always friendly and welcoming. Makes it easy to return when ever we are in the Hudson area. Also pup friendly with a yummy food truck out side. Indoor and outdoor seating. The crowd has also been very friendly so the environment the brewery fosters shows in those who come there. Just a fan and has been for the years they have been there. Thank you🧡😁
Terrific brewery, warehouse district style. You may feel lost when you get there. Tucked behind the building, you'll see the cars just follow the sign to back. Good sized interior space that offers events and live music. Parking lot seating, facing backside of historic Hudson along train tracks. Good trick is available. Pet and family friendly. The beer selection was the only challenging part, so flights are a great option.
Just stopped in and notices a major remodel! Outdoor covered family and dog friendly environment, a wood fired pizza oven on the ground floor and a larger interior space. Oh, did I mention a killer beer selection and now wines also! Cannot wait to go back! Stopped in after Breakneck hike, just up the road.
Dog friendly micro brewery! It was not super packed for a Saturday afternoon. Beer selection was pretty average, nothing super exciting. The majority tasted pretty similar to me but I’m not much of a beer person myself. Their cocktail list was pretty interesting. Bar games like darts and table shuffle board was available. Atmosphere was great. Staff was super friendly and even brought my pup a water bowl. I would definitely check it out if you’re in the area.
Excellent beers and wings. Great service, friendly staff. I visited Hudson Brewing Company about 2 weeks ago. I started with a flight and ordered some wings from the food truck. The best beer I had was the "Tainted Senorita" coffee stout. The wings were good- the house made blue cheese was a nice bonus. The brewery was busy when I went - it was a Saturday afternoon. They have a few tvs and had some college football on. Bartenders were attentive.
We went to taste the local beer and we shared 3 flights, trying 12 varieties. Total cost $30. The beers were fantastic, only one we weren't fond of. The most unique on the menu was called Hot as a Cucumba, featuring jalapeno, cucumber and lime. It had a refreshing taste, with the heat not on the tongue but in the back of the throat, making it pleasant to drink but still delivering on the heat I love. The Ropewalk Blond was my surprising favorite of the day. I am not a fan of IPA in general, but this one was delicious without the bitter bite usually found in IPA varieties, making it the first IPA I've ever really liked. My usual taste is dark, malty beers. I loved the Tainted Senorita, their award winning coffee stout, as well as Firkin Mirkin. The others not mentioned here were all very tasty. There was also a remarkable light fixture, which I'm told the owners designed and constructed. Very nice place, located in a warehouse.
We were in town reliving some old memories like when I took the train out of Hudson to Atlanta many years ago. There was no brewery back then. We had a fun time hanging out and telling stories, but what was really interesting was trying to determine what was hanging from the ceiling. We also enjoyed our beers. My husband had the Just Us and I had the sour while my Dad had the Proprieter. There was lot going on with the sour, which had a lot of good flavor. The place was quite crowded since it was too cool to sit outside, but there's a variety of table to hang out at with friends or family. Dog friendly.
Of all the various fruit fermented drinks offered no apple cider in a upstate brewery? From the flight, liked the lager the best. The food being served from a camper parked outside not sure if it's a zoning or business compromise. Pezole was tasty and nice for the chilly weather, wish it came in a larger portion. One annoyance is very bad reception in the back near the stage, maybe due to the brewing equipment.
1st time here. Will have to say nice place with nice staff. The beers I sampled were good. Clean place to enjoy a cold beverage. The food from the food truck was very good as well that was here. The music that was playing was at the right level, so you can talk to people you are with at the table. Girlfriend and I got 2 flights and some food. She enjoyed it as well as I did. Will be coming back again for sure.
Hops, Hounds, and the Hudson. This quaint little spot in the back of an industrial park is great for dog parents, families, solo, or with couples. The environment is inviting and encourages you to stay awhile. Games like darts ans foozeball are strategically placed around the taproom. They allow dogs inside and out and have a food truck on site so you can grab something to eat. If you are not a beer lover, they also offered some locally sourced bourbon flights to sample. They had a nice selection of beers on tap none that were exceptional but they were definitely easy drinking. Definitely recommend.
This is a tale of two experiences. Stopped in for beer and nachos. The beer gets 5 stars. Had the Hefe and it was delicious. The nachos get a 2. I paid $20 for nachos with beef and there was hardly any beef and the flavor of the cheese sauce was giving cold pack cheese spread. None of the other toppings could save it. Maybe go for the beer and skip the food or don’t pick the nachos.
Arrived today at 12:45 door locked stools up and guy waiting to make Ginsberg delivery. No sign saying closed I drove far to find out it wasn’t opened so sad
