Recently seen a lot of ratings on social media about Ann’s so we finally made a trip to try them out. The service was attentive and friendly. The serving was beyond enough and one thing that stood out to me was the fresh vinegar. The oil was clean!! Look at these servings. Inside was clean and fresh they even have tables outside for this beautiful weather.

My new replacement for Long John Silvers since closed in Merced, everything was good fish, chicken strips, shrimp, onion rings n fries and btw hush puppies r off the menu item good thing I asked...

Nice staff, great food. Had fish n chips , battered vegetables, and shrimp. All were great!!! Food smelled and tasted great. Forgot to take more pics.

Highly impressed with the Fish and Chips I ordered here... Def a new spot to add of my list of places to frequent... Its competition is London Fish and Chips by the mall... slightly cheaper but, if the portion size I got today (3Piece) stays consistent; I may have to declare this place the #Winner... Plus it appears they serve Guiness #Bonus... Staff seems friendly and it's super clean, plenty of room to eat... Highly Highly Impressed... They will see me again!

Great little gem. You can see the people cutting fish in the back and it's so meaty and fresh. Great little place!

They were extremely busy I was told up front that it would be 30 to 40 minutes before my food would be done we said fine I'm glad we waited the fish was cooked to perfection even though they were slamming busy I'm hopefully going back in the next few days cuz I love me some fish and chips. I tried it a second time with the same results except the french fries were much better this time. It can be hard to find a seat inside it's very tight but they seem to be doing the best they can with the limited space they have 11/26/25 there's nothing better than a fish and chip feast the day before Thanksgiving. The result was the same as the last couple of times it was delicious food was hot it was NOT greasy and the service was nice. 2/25/26 The food was still cooked very well it was hot The food came out pretty quick however it was two of the ugliest pieces of fish I have ever been served here one piece was very flat and the other was a bit thicker but it was smaller than the pieces have been. My only suggestion would be next time pair one ugly piece with one good piece other than that the service was great they're always friendly.

Fresh, crispy and super tasteful. Their Aioli and cocktail sauces were my favorite. Tartar is ok. Needs Capers, dill. Etc. But overall very friendly staff, and food was delicious..Will be back. Thank Guys

Pleasantly surprised! Food was very good. Fish could have used a bit of seasoning, but the shrimp were tasty and HUMONGOUS! Priced fairly for the portion.

I heard about this place and have been wanting to try it. Glad I finally did. The fish and chips were delicious. They actually give you fairly big pieces of fish, and not just a bunch of fried batter. The service was friendly and the wait time for take out was pretty fast. Will definitely be coming here again.

The food is great but that's not why I wanted to leave a review. The people who work here are nothing less than rock stars! Maybe some day they'll forget about the day I came in and they did for me what I'm sure they always do for others which is to show kindness, empathy and respect, but I'll never forget the warmth and genuine human kindness I felt that day. Keep rockin' and you should all buy the darkest sunglasses you can find because each of your futures are extremely bright! 😎❤️

We don't do a lot of fish and chips but we thought it was delicious, in our humble opinion. We ordered the meal with fish, shrimp and scallops. I really enjoyed it. I could tell they used quality ingredients, especially the fish. We also ordered the battered veggies- zucchini, onions & mushrooms. Also yummy. The place looked very clean and organized as well. Service was good and it very cutely decorated for Christmas. Looking forward to going back again.

The fish was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of batter. The coleslaw was very good as well. The only complaint; the night we went (Dec 25) it was like an ice box and they needed to turn down the A/C and put on some heat. Everyone was eating with winter coats on.

My family and I got food to go and omg everything was amazing! We got 2 of the 3 piece fish and chips and the chicken strips and chips with shrimp on the side and all we could say is that it was VERY DELICIOUS and we will definitely be back! To top it all off the staff was very nice and attentive!

I went there Dec 27th with my brother. Came back today with my wife we had the special. The young lady gave me a coke to go when we were done. I drove 30 miles each way in to experience the food. Very good ! Great service, very clean restaurant.

We heard about Ann’s via social media and drove quite a distance to try it. It is the best place where we have had fish and chips in the valley and nearby seaside towns. Unlike some other places we have tried, which include coastal restaurants, the fish was tender and seemingly fresh, and the batter was perfect! The last place we had really good fish and chips in California was Crescent City.

Had the 3 piece fish and chips which is more than enough for a big eater. Also had the shrimp which were large as well. Also had 2 sodas and the bill came to a little over $46.

We ordered Fish and Chips and the Shrimp and Chips ....both were equally delicious.. We will be back. Enjoy!
