I was very impressed, I've never eaten here before and Dion certainly fixed that. He was very confident and friendly. I told him to surprise me and boy my food was magnificent. Very flavored and tasty, along with great service. Dions service was superior and friendly. He told me about his son and school along with how he's been working thier for 4 years. I met a friend at Lupe Tortilla for a business meeting over lunch, and we definitely enjoyed ourselves. I had the Chicken Little with salad, which was perfect and delicious. It's the handmade tortillas for me, y'all! I also had the Margaita flight and WOW! That sure packs a punch. Definitely worth it! She had beef fajitas and a beautiful cocktail that I can't remember the name of but it was really pretty, and she kept saying that it was really good sooo I think it was good! Lol Lupe Tortilla is my go-to Mexican restaurant in the area. The drinks are always on pound and the food is always sooo flavorful.

I was really surprised, it was really busy and I was in a party of 6 but we got table right away, I love the music, the environment and the service was incredible. Food was served by the manager, plenty and delicious. If you want to enjoy a nice mexican this is a good local option.

Great fajitas! Their tortillas are oversized and super thin, just a nice change from the thicker smaller ones normally served at Tex Mex places. One weirdness is that they always try to seat us at the high tables in the bar... maybe bc my husband is tall, but we don't prefer those so request a table instead. The service has always been good. And they have delicious margaritas. This one was frozen blueberry pomegranate. We will def go back.

As someone who works in the restaurant management industry it is truly rare to find a gem like Lupe Tortilla. Today was my second visit (two days in a row, yep) and the experience was exceptional. The decor is unique and the service is spectacular. Lauren was our server and she was amazing. Seriously, I felt like we were easily in a high end NY restaurant due to the incredible level of service. I am convinced she can read guests minds. Starting with the chips and salsa the experience is fresh, clearly scratch made in house. I ordered the chicken flautas which were exquisite. The guacamole that accompanied then was great too. When it was time to wrap up our server Lauren totally upsold me on an amazing brownie a la mode they have (brownie with a scoop of ice cream), it was amazing. I am not sure if I liked dinner or my dessert better. One thing I am sure of, this is now my favorite dinner spot. Oh and they do lunch and breakfast too.

Had a fantastic time at Lupe Tortilla! The food was delicious as always, but what really made the experience special was our amazing waitress, Sam. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent Tex Mex restaurant! The staff is super friendly and helpful. This is even my favorite of all the Lupe Tortilla restaurants around Houston. This is definitely the place you're looking for in Humble for a delicious classic (Tex) Mexican dinner with a family-type atmosphere. Safe for drinks afterwards!

Been here many times. The food is really GOOD. My favorite is the Chicken Quesadillas. They were extremely busy and the food still came out in a reasonable amont time. The waitress was awesome, very attentive, and down to earth. I would recommend Lupe Tortilla and will be back again as this one of my favorite places to eat. This was our first time here. The atmosphere was nice. A little dark for the wife, but not too bad. I ordered the ribs. They were cooked to perfection and the Chipotle sauce was great. The wife had the taco salad. We both had leftovers, so worth the price. I would definitely recommend trying.

Brandon! Brandon absolutely crushed it being our server. Never once have I had such a perfect experience in a restaurant. He was extremely welcoming, happy, professional, caring, great with kids. His attention to the customers needs are fantastic. No one at our table went without salsa, chips, did not wait at all for him too come to the table, introduce himself and get our drinks out too us. Brandon showed up with fresh drinks every time before we could finish them, including my daughter which has never had that happen before. Brandon should be recognized in whatever way Lupe Tortilla recognizes their employees because he is the reason we will be going more often than a special occasion. Too add, he made sure that anything that was not being used anymore was off of the table. Typically you have plates, bowls etc left until you leave. This was absolutely not the case. We felt like a million bucks there and I made sure Brandon knew before we left! But, don’t ask for him, because we intend to let people cut in front of us to ensure we get the next table he is serving. And I don’t want to let everyone know. Or we will never get the chance to see him again.

This place never fails to deliver! Fun festive atmosphere with immersive decorations. It feels like a party every time I eat here. We have never waited long anytime we've been here and the food is always on point! They're carne asada is the best I've had, bursting with flavor, tender and juicy!! Portions are from just right to rather generous. Its definitely one of my favorite TexMex restaurants with some of the friendliest employees around!! They always make sure you're well served, have everything you need and fix anything that isn't! It's a great place to have a meal for any occasion and they have plenty of spa e for large parties!!

As a vegetarian family I think Lupe is by far the best Tex mex in Houston for us! The small vegetarian menu with all those options is sure to keep us coming back to different Lupe locations around the city. Had the enchiladas and quesadillas and both were delicious! I just wish Lupe would add the big flour chips for when you order queso. That would be a game changer!

Talk about fast and quality. Overall my experience here was amazing. To start off I was warmly welcomed by the people there and was asked if it was my first time here. I told them yes and they came in with a complementary sample of their beef fajitas. I was indecisive of what to get on the menu but that sealed my decision once I bit into it. Overall could tell they have high standards for customer service and food quality. If you want a good place to eat with family, this is the spot to go.

The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic! Even though the restaurant was quite full, we only had to wait under 10 minutes to get a table. Our server was amazing, making sure everything was perfect, from the food to the refills!

UPDATE: Delicious brunch! Carne asada & eggs are so good. Last time I was here, they did mess up our order. They had to take the food back to redo it & it took forever & my son was starving. They finally brought it out correct & were kind enough to remove it from our ticket. I love it here. Complimentary charro beans before your meal are some of the best I've ever had. The table side guacamole is a meal in itself. The Carne Asada & fajitas are delicious, cooked to perfection & seasoned sooo well & my absolute favorite thing to get every time is the Shrimp & Rice stew which is basically gumbo with cheese. The flavors & everything in it are better than that of some of the popular seafood & Cajun restaurants around. The shrimp campechana is also one of our favorite things to order. In addition to the delicious food, the service is always above & beyond.

Wish I could give this place 10 stars for today. I could taste the flavors in my burrito y'all. It was fresh, I could enjoy each flavor in that huge burrito! I loved the dips they brought. Not one but 2 delicious dips. My daughter had the chicken fajita that sizzled w so much flavor also. The chicken was fresh cooked, juicy, tasty just like the huge pepper they also grilled. Food was good. I had the carne molida puffy tacos and my husband had the crispy chicken tacos which were puffy also. We each had one of each to try them both. I liked the carne molida better than the chicken. The charro beans that came with are really good. Drinks were tasty but they were pricey and I couldn't taste any tequila in my margaritas.

My girlfriend And I were in the Atascocita area headed towards I-45 location when we came across this Lupe Tortilla and decided to give them a try, from the hostesses to our server Shawn the service was 100 and so was the food. We had the Trio for 1, it consisted of the shrimp and the chicken and beef fajita with all the sides. Deliciousness! It was my girlfriend’s birthday and the both of us enjoyed. We actually sat next to a lady that came over to us before we left and said she never tips but Shawn was so good she was giving him a tip. Lupe Tortilla has very tasty Tex-Mex food. If you just get a tea, soda, or water with your food it's fairly reasonably priced. However it is easy to drastically increase your bill by adding their queso which is around $9 or their Margaritas which are close to $10. An odd thing that they do each time that I have visited is that they always asked if I would like to sit at one of their high top tables. These are obviously the less desirable places to sit because they're always offering them when you get there. I am wondering when management will realize they should rip these high top tables out and replace them with regular tables and/or booths. Why take up a third of your restaurant with tables that you're always begging people to sit at? Another interesting thing is when you order fajitas they have you order it by how many pounds of meat you want to order rather than ordering for one or two people . The first time or two I came I felt like I was guessing at how much meat I needed to order. Half a pound is their smallest amount and it seems like a lot for one person and not quite enough for two people. They also have a nice atmosphere and ambience to the restaurant. Overall they have very tasty food and a nice atmosphere. I have learned to just avoid buying alcohol and queso because I find them overpriced. They are quite popular, however, so you will even find yourself waiting for a table on a Monday night... unless you're willing to sit at a high top table.

The fajitas are always great. The service is great and they you get seated fairly quickly at this location. The queso and the flour tortillas are kind of hit or miss. Great drinks. Thre parking lot is not very big. So sometimes you're stuck parking on the shopping center.

The blood orange adult beverage was great because it was made with fresh fruit and served ice cold. So good! Plus, the lil sample of beef fajita on their SUPER THIN flour tortilla was a nice touch. In fact it sold us on getting fajutas that night when my mouth was already set for enchiladas. The queso con came seemed like it was made with some kind of weird cheese substitute and not actual cheese, so it was okay. Overall, I enjoyed my first trip there (minus the super chatty waitress) and I'll certainly be back!

I’ve been passing back-and-forth by the Lupe Tortilla restaurant for months on 1960. Every time I pass by no matter if it’s lunch, afternoon or night the parking lot seems nearly full. Given the enormous amount of Tex-Mex restaurants in this area I figured the popularity had to be driven by either free liquor or absolutely cheap food. So instead of speculating, I decided to go in and try. The decor is very upbeat and entertaining. We found the menu to be as broad-based as any Tex-Mex restaurant in this area. I tried the combination plate that included a little bit of everything and I found all of it delicious. The beef enchilada was rich and delicious, The tamale was flavorful with real meat inside. The rice was surprisingly moist. Can’t recall having rice where it was so moist and almost begged to be eaten by itself. Ultimately the prices are a little higher than in the past but that is the post Covid world we live in. I found the experience worth coming back again. Now I think I better understand why there’s always a crowd in the parking lot.

Decided to order lunch and looked up the lunch menu. I saw the soup and salad and ordered. Nowhere on the menu does it say that the lunch soup is different from the regular soup order. This was the worst tortilla soup I’ve ever had it was broth w chicken fajita cuts w tomato and peppers. I called but they said the lunch portion don’t come with cheese and tortilla strips and I’m guessing corn either. The to go host didn’t offer to make it right since I was obviously not happy with our lunch. If every one of those tables were to "donate" that's enough of an influx at $12.20 to make a nice difference. Now granted, not all those tables will not pay cash, so let's say only half of them pay cash for 10 hours (open for 12, with the slow time deducted at 2 hours,)...that's $61 a day...7 days a week...$427 "extra." Food was absolutely subpar, like everything looked really good but was just flat, took forever to get our drinks even though it wasn't that busy. One of my friends got hit in the head by a person carrying food meaning the tables are wayyy too packed in there. Our waitress was super attentive at first then disappeared and getting her to our table was worse than pulling teeth, took almost 20 minutes to get our checks back. Everything could have been forgiven if the food was good and it just absolutely was not. First and last time there

The stars are for food only. I would give 5 stars for food because it’s so yummy! I would give zeros stars for the rest. We have been here probably 5 different times and service is horrible. We live maybe 3 minutes away. I don’t understand or know how you can have 100 workers in here and get horrible service from the hostess to waiters. If you didn’t have to wait so long it would be worth coming too. We are so over the horrible service even if the food is good!

Food is still good but service is horrible. Sat at the bar. Waited for a drink, had to ask for plates and silverware. Had to wait for water and when I complained Dino was extremely rude.

The food had no seasoning. Cool atmosphere & music. Nice staff.

Maile provides great customer service at the bar. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for Kyle. Before bringing water, chips, food menus or silverware… he asks for My ID for age verification. I had to ask him if I would be able to eat if I am not older than 21. He responded with attitude. I’d recommend to have him complete some customer service trainings and learn how to respect his customers.

I would love to give a better rating. Upon walking in it was EXTREMELY dark making it feel like we were sitting a dark cave instead of a restaurant. Our waitress was super nice and that was the highlight of our visit here. We ordered the chipotle smoked ribs, which we get quite frequently when we go to Lupe. Today the ribs were so over cooked that some of the ribs were so dried out and burnt that they were inedible. The ones that were semi edible were not much better. This is the first time I’ve walked out of a Lupe and needed to pick up food from somewhere else because our food was that bad.

Huge disappointment. Atmosphere is amazing. The decor is great and the music was nice. Really feels like a vacation spot. But the food….huge letdown. This looks lace is so overpriced it’s ridiculous. And it wasn’t even good. If I’m paying that kinda money for food it better be good. Won’t be returning.

Needs new management they were very inconsiderate waited over hour and a half to be seated then tables were being moved all around us like we weren't still there. Felt like they were trying to kick…

Food is chewy and the barbacoa is definitely not barbacoa . Everything was dry. The pancakes, the eggs, the potatoes and the sausage. Steak was not tender. Only thing that was ok was the chips and salsa and the freshly squeezed orange juice.

I just went by this location to have lunch. The hostess offered a high top table and I said I preferred a booth or table. There were many open that I could see. She hesitated and brought another employee over. They whispered and gave looks back and forth finally offering another high top. I explained that I already asked for a table. I also asked if it was a big deal that I sit at a table or if it was policy to sit me at a high top. They have looks back and forth again being very rude. I asked for a manager. Once I explained what was going on he said he was sorry I felt that way. I won't be going here again. I guess those dining alone don't deserve a table to sit at.

Food looks ok, however this was not worth $165. I know times are tough for the restaurant industry however it's tough for everyone including the ones trying to help keep you in business. I didn't realize my order would pay for the week

If I could give it a zero stars I would. I ordered chicken enchiladas to go and after picking up my order and arriving at work I start eating and realize the chicken is NOT cooked. I am 8 months pregnant. This is very unacceptable and they need to be more careful when preparing the food.

Food wise-- EXCELLENT... As Far as the staff... I can't say the same. There Hostess needs some more customer training that's for sure. My husband and I walk in at Lunch time. She takes us to the left side of the restaurant to this huge table right next to the busy kitchen where they are coming in and out nonstop. We look over and see a private booth. I ask can we seat there instead. She says yes. Grabs our menu's. Goes back to the front seats another couple and leaves us standing there. I walk back a few minutes later and said did you ask someone to clean the table. She said yes, but no one came. So I say never mind I'll just go eat somewhere else. By that time she already had a rude look on her face. My husband says let me ask you a question.. what's the reasoning for not allowing us to set on the right side.. There's alot of seats open. And with the rude unhappy face again, she seats us at a decent table and walks off. I did speak to the manager about it, but I'm sure nothing was said about it. He looked pretty distracted. Next time Were in the mood for Lupe,, We will drive to another location.

This place is awful. The worst service. Kyle and Maile in the bar are just horrible. Save yourself time and money. Never have I been and it be this bad. HORRIBLE

I over heard management speaking to employees very rudely, as in talking down. If you want employees to respect you, you should talk with them with respect. I also I another instance while my family and I were there, I am pretty sure a lady manager was breast pumping while walking around speaking with customers….I understand the need to do that but I am pretty sure there is an office to do that.

Chris the lead chef was over stimulated dealing with my situation like he was on more than just coffee. I did not like the food "the staff" cooked. If you cannot lead the staff to cooking better dishes than find a new hobby. This place is usually empty on a Friday night and it makes more sense why. Get better help!

This place is terrible! music was too loud, server wasn't professional, he kept interrupting, not interested in listienng to us. Too much cumin really had no other flavor. The ancho sauce was nothing more than chili. Long wait for food and had to ask for server to return to get check and leave.

This place is horrible. Manager is a disrespectful. Chose to have my grandma's birthday in here and I regret it all. Got there at 7pm, Waited an hour and a half. And the place closes at 9pm. We got our table at 8:30pm. Spoke to the manager about the situation he completely told us off telling us weather we want service or leave. No empathy or any customer service at all. This place was not busy at all. And there was tables that could've got put together. But no. Still decided to stay because Grandma was tired and it was already late to go somewhere else. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE A PARTY OF MORE THEN 10 PEOPLE. THEY ARE NOT READY FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS. THERE WAS PLENTY OF TABLES OUTSIDE AND THE MANAGERS SAID THAT HE HAD NO SERVERS OUTSIDE. TIM DOESN'T REPRESENT LUPES TORTILLAS in a good way. Horrible Person. Spent over $400 dollars plus. Never ever again. TIM I HOPE YOU REALIZE THAT YOU NEED TO FEEL EMPATHY FOR PEOPLE SPECIALLY WHEN THERE ARE OLDER FOLKS INVOLVED. AND INSTEAD OF TELLING PEOPLE TO LEAVE, THINK OF SOMETHING TO ACCOMMODATE THEM.🤢🤮

The food was good. We had to switch servers due to poor service. I might note that the restaurant was not crowded at all. There were several other issues as well. We will not be back to this location ever! The manager seemed bothered that we wanted to speak to her! I am also very concerned they are using cut-up chip boxes as coasters. This seems highly unsanitary and cheap. The boxes stick to the glasses and cave due to the liquids on cardboard.
