Banzai Bowl is a great place to get an oversized acai bowl, with lots of choices for toppings. I think it's a pretty decent choice for acai, but they tend to get busy due to their location being so close to the beach, and the quality of the preparation can be hit-or-miss. Overall, a solid offering and great location.

When we stopped by for breakfast this morning, Zack and the rest of the family at Banzai Bowl got right to work blending by far the best Açai bowls I have ever tasted. Service was punctual, the atmosphere was laid back yet refreshing, and the food was an excellent early morning adventure for the taste buds.

Wonderful, açai, bowls with big chunks of high quality fruit. I’ve been there about 15 times and they never disappoint! The only item I’ve ever order there is the Maui açai bowl (I think that’s what it’s called), but I delete the coconut milk and honey, as I’m not a fan of those two ingredients. So yummy! Pictured is a small bowl. They’re extremely busy at lunchtime and probably other times of day that I am not aware of. You can order online so it’s ready when you get there, though. I usually go to the Huntington Beach location because I don’t particularly like the one in Costa Mesa. The food is just as good, but it’s very noisy, and it lacks the service and professionalism of the Huntington Beach store.

Simply delicious !!!! There huge!!!! But the wait is Simply ridiculous so for sure order by phone 1st then go get it trust.....but get the Banzai bowl Large with Apple juice extra blueberries extra granola get the bee paulin blended in with extra honey on top super super yummy you will be back every dam day its like crack lol get a bowl go eat it on the beach people watch or just watch the sunset .....perfect

Delish!!!!!!!! I downed the size large (32 oz.). I recommend the Maui Sunrise as it comes:) you can also get a smoothie and have them blend it as an açaí which is what my friends did:)

This place is AMAZING. Their bowls are sooo good. Super fresh and super delicious. The granola and the honey they use is really yummy. I got the Pupukea bowl and was so happy.

My favorite açaí place in HB! Nice selection of bowls; highly recommend getting the large size! They use fresh fruit vs. frozen, shredded coconut is super tasty and the açaí is perfectly thick & creamy; not overly sweet which is what I prefer. I ordered & recommend the Maui Sunrise (without honey); you get a GENEROUS size cup topped off for $15. vs. other places that charge same price for half the portion. Definitely a casual, surfy vibe inside; no A/C though so I’d recommend enjoying your delicious bowl outside on their front patio. This local business is highly engaged with HB surf community and they’re one of the sponsors for HBBRC Huntington Beach Boardriders Club 🤙🏼😎

Odd little shack behind a corner lol. The dudes there seem like bros 🤙and are helpful in helping you order. There are way too many choices and difficult for indecisive people like me lol. But there’s a huge variety for whatever you like in your açaí bowl🍓! And the size small is actually really big. That took me a long time to finish lol. The wait was rather long for a small bowl. Not sure why. I was the only one there too. Hmmm🤔. Tastes very grand though!!! But beware... it’s REALLY sweet and leaves you feeling with a sugar high🤯🍭🍬🍫🎂🍰🍦🍪🍩. Turns out the Malibu sunrise or something is the most popular. It’s definitely good.

Super glad that this place is still in business even though Covid made it a rough year for all of us. The quality of the bowl was pretty good but both times that we went, there were only two girls working. The wait time was about 45 minutes to an hour and it didn’t seem like there were that many people ordering. Besides the wait time this place is awesome and super close to the beach. For anyone wanting to check this place out I would call ahead and order that way it’s ready when you get there.

They used to fill it to the rim and above. Just went back today and they now cut it short. It's only 3/4 of the cup now. Not a bowl. They cut back bc business is slow. So why would i go back if they if they give u less. Good way to loose customers that you still have.

The Newport location has been perfect every time, super disappointed in Huntington Beach. The staff was rude when I asked about my order because it had been 40 minutes and they gave me melted acai which is impossible to eat. I drive from Corona every weekend for a run, the beach and acai, just sad to be treated this way.

They have my number and said the manager would contact me soon for the refund. I have yet to receive a refund for $30 and it’s been a month. This store is ran by TEENS in filthy condition. I saw an employee wearing sandals without socks and shorts that looked like underwears. Inappropriate attire for a work place. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

This place SUCKS there’s others nearby not only are the staff rude. They won’t let you replace anything even if it’s dietary unless they charge you more they’re slow. It’s a bunch of kids. The vibe is gross. It’s dirty. Just in the five minutes, we were in there to full families left for the same reason terrible business just for a nice little bowl ruined our nice morning
