Checking out this place on a recommendation and it was great for lunch. There are good menu choices for all kinds of fish entrees but I was there for s poke bowl. You can build your own with different rice bases and toppings, sauces. I got salmon and it was delicious. The wife got a white fish taco and enjoyed it. We also got chips and guac and it was legit. No fountain drinks, all cans and bottles, beer, spirits. Ate outside as there was very limited indoor seating, which was fine but fairly windy and a bit cool. Great place!

This fast casual was a gem of a find! Order at the counter, fresh poke bowls, sushi, calamari fries and grilled artichoke. The fish was perfectly fresh. They have a large outside patio with plenty of seats overlooking the beach. Staff was very friendly and working hard!

Our son turned us onto this spot saying the fish is fresh and amazing and he was absolutely right. We got the Poke Burrito which I was a bit hesitant but the staff said I would love it. I did. We also got chips and guacamole and calamari fingers. The chips and guac was good but nothing special. The calamari fingers were delicious. All together the meal was a hit and we will definitely be back.

After a nice, breezy day at the beach this was the perfect place to have dinner. They have plenty of seating, including an outdoor patio with heated lamps. I was craving fish so I got the small seafood plate with mahi-mahi. The fish was meaty yet light, with a slight grilled taste. It was divine. We also enjoyed their chips and pico de Gallo and fish burrito. I definitely see myself coming back to try their other dishes!

Fresh seafood on the shore with a view of the ocean. The calamari is delicious! Try it with the Bear sauce. The poke and ceviche are very tasty. The premium burrito is very good. Never had it with bluefin tuna before but you will throughly enjoy it you enjoy tuna.

Bear Flag Fish Co. is tremendous! The food was over the top fresh and delicious. Love the location! The service was friendly and helpful. I would undoubtedly eat here again and again and again.

The fish was fresh. The food was good! If you're seated outside, it's extremely loud from the cars going by. They also don't have table service so you have to walk inside and order everything, grab your own utensils/sauces/napkins. I wish they had table service! I ordered 6 oysters, 1/2 pound Peruvian ceviche, and a glass of wine for $46.

Located in Pacific City with a killer view of the HB pier and ocean. Limited indoor seating at a short bar which has a view but the patio is the place to be. Perfect on a sunny day! Salmon Poke Bowl was delicious but expensive of course. Be sure to get the pickled wasabi and garlic chili crisp on it! You order at the cashier, find a place to sit and they bring your food to you in a plastic container. I left a 15% tip but they still didn't even bring silverware which we had to go get ourselves. Good for a casual lunch with a view!

Get the fish burrito with white rice. It's delicious!! Poke is also good. If you order by the pound, it comes with chips. The outdoor seating is amazing with a view of the beach and beautiful sunset. Parking is free in underground lot with two levels. Credit card / Apple Pay accepted.

Absolutely love this place. The staff wasn't incredibly knowledgeable about the menu options, and they weren't very helpful. That's why I'm giving the four stars. The food, however, was absolutely delicious. You should know before going here, that the food is all Latin influenced. It is not a low country type of fresh seafood place, which is was we were expecting. It is nice to try different cuisines, and this was shockingly good. It was recommended by a local and we are so glad we tried it.

Great location and view...no table service or wait staff, order counter only and bar.plastic forks and knives. Food is hit and miss...the chips come out of a bag, the pico de gallo looked a few days old...and tasted like it too. The fish sandwich was just okay...we ordered two but only one came out and had to wait for the 2nd sandwich. Ordered a couple beers, those never vame...had to go to the bar and ask for them. The service was terrible...won't be back and can't say I'd reccomend Bear Flag HB to anyone.

The people working the bar should all be fired. Visited two different times. Once sat at bar and the person basically hated their job and gave us the slowest, worst attitude service. It was not busy at all. Just thought they had a bad day so tried again a few months later. Same slow, nasty attitude. Hope they didn’t spit in people’s drinks bc they seem like the people who would. Just quit if the job is that bad!!! In general the bear flag workers seem to be entitled and rude. Both HB and NB locations.

This was very disappointing. I ordered shrimp skewers with rice and sautéed vegetables. The vegetables must have been warmed up in a microwave out of a frozen vegetable mix. I got the bottom of the bag apparently. The rice felt old and hard and unseasoned. The shrimp was obviously from a bag of frozen fish with only salt as the seasoning. I could have done a much better job for 1/6th of the cost by buying the same frozen ingredients. The clam chowder was fishy and we only ate a few bites.
