Two burritos 🌯 and a strawberry shake 😋

I usually get the taco salad in the drive through. I like the food. Sometime they give me a big plastic container of salad, other times, it's in a smaller box, which I don't like. It inconsistent.

5 buck box is the bomb...just what this place needed to get some customers back as Mexican food (beans cheese and tortillas) should not be this expensive.

I love Del taco for their cheap food and most definitely their service the girl who was as sweet as her name Praline. Was all by herself, just killing it. If she were overwhelmed, I could not tell by the way she handled herself. One of my tacos tipped out of the wrapper and my daughter said it came like that, but I do not know if it believed her but money is tight so i came back to have it replace. Praline was there alone and handled the situation with kindness. Replace the taco but i know if it were me and i were alone and someone wanted a taco replaced i would not of been as matured, nice as she was all by myself. Cudos to praline for doing an amazing job!!!

We went late on a Saturday Night and there was a long line of cars in the drive thru. The employee who took our order on was clear and understood our order. He was professional. While the wait in the drive thru was a rather long one, once we arrived at the window to pay for our food and receive our food, the exchange of money and food was quick and without any problems. We received the food and it was perfect!

My favorite is fast food since 1977! Decent prices and use them even more for delivery! #1

The prices are fair and the food is good, especially when it comes to other fast food in the area. I always receive prompt service. The Del Taco beats Taco Bell's standard taco by a mile and their burgers and fries are a handy alternative to In n Out with 24/7 availability and shorter wait lines.

Del Taco has always treated me right. Always friendly people, and the best bean burrito in town (I get red sauce with extra red sauce, and I add onion plus extra onion). They are fast and the food is good when you're in a hurry.

Had a inexpensive meal. Beef burrito was delicious. A little cold but I ate and enjoyed it. Pretty clean place. Staff was quick to come out and clean off a empty table. Very cold on this one, that A/C is on blast! great menu and good prices.

For a great Chocolate Shake and fries, go to Del Taco? Yep. They have a lot of choices on the $1 value menu. My favorite is the Chicken Roller with Chipotle sauce.

It's Del. You get what you expect. More tortilla than filling at times, slightly over priced. But it's somehow, surprisingly good, every time. Sometimes you just want inauthentic Mexican food that may or may not be Play-Doh. Cravings man. Cravings.

Food was great but the guy working the drive through window took my money and helped 2 different people at the register so I waited 5 minutes to get my food handed to me, it was on the counter at the window. Most likely a one time thing.

Huge line, took forever! Food was good enough I guess. Nothing special, but decent. Service was slow, and they forgot our mild sauce... only del scorcho... that sucked.

A tough little location, with cheerful friendly staff. The food is just Del Taco, and if you like that then it's perfect. The store is clean inside, the staff do a good job and the prices are right. There you go.

I order from the $1 menu. Everything was delicious except the fries. I ordered my fries cooked without salt. When I received my fries, they smell like they had been cooked in old cooking oil. The drive thru cashier was very nice.

I enjoy the freedom of creating my own menu within their kitchen. They never give me a hard time when I customize my order. You should try a side order of eggs a side of Jack cheese with avocados slice and fresh salsa all in a bowl for about $2 with green sauce on the side.

This is a typical Del Taco. The drive thru could be faster & the morning crew seem to be a little slow or in need of a larger staff. Other than those small drawbacks it still has good food,the best fries and this is a very clean location.

Good food, good value, but they need another menu in their drive thru line you can study while you're waiting in line before you get up to the speaker. It would make ordering a lot faster.

Fine Del Taco. The usual stuff here. Very busy intersection so if you are in a rush to get somewhere after, it may take a while. Great location for those traveling south on Beach Blvd. If going north, not so great. Food and service- the usual Del Taco

me and my boyfriend go here pretty often, almost every other day and he orders a bunch of stuff, all I ever get is fries. I'm really not trying to come off as picky or as overly critical, but half of the time the fries don't have any salt on them at all :[ and tonight, I got macho fries and they skimped me suuuper tough. bummer.

They cashier ordered slot more than I said through the box in drive through. I asked for a water and thankfully they told me I was already getting a soda. Didn't order a drink so they had to refund except I had already paid with card. The guy hands me 3 bucks. I'm thinking there's no way I would have paid $3 for a small Sprite. But lucky as I was I still got overcharges for food that didn't show up or I just plain didn't order. Foul ball!

This place is 24hours but lately when I go late at night they have been closed.. Extremely upsetting.I know they are having a hard time finding people to work so I guess its not their fault...its just you can see the people inside..doing whatever their doing...but they definitely are not taking orders..which is irritating.

I took my food scale out at home and weighed the 1/2 lb bean and cheese burritos because they always seem too small now and they were 1 oz short and other times they have been smaller and I didn't weigh them. I wish there was quality control because sometimes the burritos are so small.

What can we make fresh for you? Why are the hash browns not fresh? They are already cooked and when order thrown into oil to heat up. Well today they weren’t heated up. Room temperature. That goes against health department. By law food needs to be at 160 and almost every time i Come for tacos the meat is not hot. When I speak up I get attitude. The quality of food is not up to health law. Management get it together, owner get on it. There’s no excuse for this uneducated/lazy service. Hot foods should be hot. Not Acceptable. If I don’t Get credit or see change in food I will contact corporate and health department.

I'm not fan of Del Taco, I bought a quesadilla, but wasn't tasty.....

The drive through is not very friendly!? The way it's set up it's chaotic and some employees need an attitude adjustment. 2 star because they're a few staff members that do try.

Honest review, the food is ok but certainly not fresh. They charged $4 for tax! I went in for the 2 cheeseburgers deal they had for about $5 I ended up paying about $10. No thanks I won't be coming back!

Very sad because I love Del Taco in Colorado. I was in HB for a race and wanted the chicken guacamole huge burrito. I had to get back to the hotel, so I went through the drive through. Everything was good until I sunk my teeth into the burrito, it definitely wasn't what I ordered - there is a difference between beef and chicken. I couldn't just go back and replace it, but when a friend came in, their order was messed up too. Sad because I recommended Del Taco due to my experiences here in Colorado. Might give them another chance when I am in town.

Literally was told they would not give me more than one sauce per an item. Ridiculous. I even went in from the drivethrough. After getting 3 sauce packets for 3 items and asking for 10. I've never experienced this

While I understand the difficulties with social distancing, this place has had the same issues even before the COVID-19 dilemma. The staff is always getting orders wrong, shorting orders, and just plain under-trained. The management needs to take a step up and re-train all of the sfaff here at this location specifically. By far, one of the worst Del Taco locations I have yet to experience. Consistently bad.

Went late night the line when we arrived was maybe 4-5 cars deep . And we easily sat in line well over 30 minutes. When finally pulling up to the window it appeared there were only 2 workers in the place ..by the time we left the line was like 8 or more cars long. Clearly it gets busy certain times and only 2 workers is ridiculous.

1-23-25 I went through drive and ordered A large ice coffee and the bean, rice and cheese burrito. Pulled up to the drive thru window and the guy gave me a regular ice coffee(which was fine, didn't say anything) I got my burrito then I had to ask for a recipe and hot sauce.. Again whatever but then I got home took a bite it was cold, dry and the rice was crunchy. It was like it was sitting out for a while possibly all night it was 8:29am when I ordered. Rice wasn't cooked all away the beans were cold the cheese wasn't melted looked like maybe it was a one time. It was bad. Very disappointed! * I wish there was a way to post the pictures I took.

I come here to pick up food as a delivery driver and the guy tells me they’re on break around 5 am. But this was after I waited on driver through line with no response and his response was “I already told another one of you drivers were on break” lol okay? So you think all delivery drivers call each other update on stores 😂 After 20 mins they’re still on break

Waited 16 mins for an order, while 3 others ordered after me, and got their food. Then got served cold French fries. MANAGER was the one who served me.. Hoping this is a one time issue, as this is close to work.

I love Del, but this place ruined my order twice. The first time I was missing 12 tacos! When I went in to get the missing tacos the crew laughed as I they reordered my tacos. When I got home I was missing 3 tacos. Soooo disappointed.

Food poisoning kicked in a half hour . i was found throwing and sitting on the toilet at a hospital visiting my dying sister. I drove 2 hours stayed 15 minutes and had to be drivin home very sick. I will never forget them.😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵

I tried to order the FIESTA PACK and I am sincerely disappointed that the woman I was on the phone with hung up on me multiple times MID ORDER!? The guy in drive thru at 530 am on Thursday April 23 2020 is horrible ..hes clueless and they made a mistake hiring him and the guy cooking Wrong orders, long wait times and cant even do their job correctly. If u make a mistake apologize and get the order right. They need to fire Marquez that's his name and who runs out of french fries??? But fails to inform the customer at speaker before ordering??? Bad customer service and no manner . Bad for buisness

The slowest Del Taco ever. I love Del Taco but this has got to be the worse one ever. The food seems old they mess up order they’re rude to you and the worse part is the wait. It seems they literally don’t care. Definitely won’t be coming here again. STAY AWAY

This location is the absolute worse I have ever seen. They always screw up every order. They have horrible attitudes. They can't take basic orders through the drive thru. The employees are disgusting when it comes to food handling practice. Avoid at all costs.

to all the unsuspecting customers at drive thu, the employees use the same gloves to prepare the food for everything else & do not change gloves; they use the same gloves to clean, stock & handle money; put their hands in their pockets, handle their mobile phones, wipe their shirts & adjust their masks. the company is just hiring any body they can find who could care less for food sanitation & safety guidelines let alone staying on the job. the worst of it is, the health department does not have the budget or even the human resource to enforce food safety & sanitation anymore due to staff shortages caused by the pandemic & the restaurants are taking advantage to save money

This del is seriously sub par. They habitually screw up my order. The frys are often cold and soggy while also being burnt. Burritos are cold. They frequently game their internal metrics by running through the drive through with steel pans on the car sensors.

DON'T GO! They messed up my order somehow. Repeated order back to me, CHICKEN quesadilla. Charged me for chicken. Guess what though..........NO CHICKEN! They asked me at the window "any sauce?" Del scorcho please, she repeated it back to me. No sauce, not even the wrong sauce.

Never been to a fast food restaurant that dont care about customers service 4:40am after like 20 min of wait guy comes out with a rude tone and tells me we just got back from break what break he look like he just woke up

The lady at the window asked me what sauce I wanted. I told her the black packet ones and she gives me all red ones. Not a single black spicy packet. I didnt have time to go back. I know it's a little bit picky, but when you only have 30 min to eat and get back to work its tough.

People, be careful at this Del taco. Dont leave your credit card or debit card in the machine outside the drive through window. I UNFORTUNATELY DID!. On Friday 5/8/20 I left my debit card. On Saturday the next day I remembered I left it at that Del taco. Which i went and got later that day. Today i noticed 2300 taken out from my account. One for 1500 another for 800... Recvd a wet bag with water sprayed in it and appears to be used and it rinsed out. My tostado box was damp wet. No receipt recvd . Del taco usually excellent quality. Who had this bag before me? It’s wet and wrinkled. Dissatisfied all the way and health hazard. I can say staff very nice but my issue was serious.

I work 3rd shift very close by, and bummer In N Out closes at 0100 and this Del Taco is the only (closest) place open. It was 230am, I was the ONLY one in the drive thru, and nobody at all came to the speaker, then I saw the manager come out the back door with the trash, empty it, then put his hands on his hips and give me a dirty look, once inside I guess he told someone to take my order, all I wanted were 2 regular tacos and fries, bad choice! The tacos dripped of grease, and the fries? Well, lets just say they were left over from the 7pm dinner rush and tossed back into old oil to be reheated. I ended up throwing my entire order in the trash, I will NEVER come to this Del Taco again, once was enough, and after all the one star reviews I am seeing, there will not be a second chance because I am obviously not alone.

This Del taco is constantly messing up my order I don't think I've ever gone to this restaurant where my order was correct. I always order the beyond meat and they give me real meat poisoning me and making me throw up. I called corporate before to get this resolved they are very nice and they comp the next meal but then this happens again so clearly nobody is doing anything to assure that their employees are well-educated on this new beyond meat. And how severe it is to give meat to a vegetarian.

Tacos were terrible. They tasted like catfood. I don't think they were even real chicken. I will never buy them again. I used to get del taco all the time. They didn't taste like this last time I had them. Something has changed and it isn't a good change. I threw them in the trash.

Extremely rude and unprofessional employees. Waited in drive thru for 10 minutes just to be yelled at from the drive thru window that they're supposedly closed, how are you closed with no visible caution anywhere letting customers know of this inconvenience? And not only that you're talking having a full blown conversation with someone at the drive thru as a line is building up. Employees come to del taco just to talk and not work. 24hrs my butt.

Never gotten an order right from here. Got a mini chicken quesadilla and the meat tasted and looked like fish. Couldn't eat the rest of my food either, it was all off. The employees are usually pretty nice though.

I wouldn't normally complain about a bean and cheese burrito but when you have extra cheese sour cream and you pay for things that are extra and now you're 99 cent half pound bean and cheese burrito that really is only like 8 oz is not in the bag when you get home, park, walk up your stairs,take off your shoes, pjs on, sit, TV on...deep sigh...and the only thing you pretty much eaten all day isn't in the bag? I just think that when people are tossed a bag to hurry up and get the next person served. Realize when it happens to you you don't like it so slow down and take your damn time because there was a person in front of me as well and I wasn't honking my horn & acting up. My 99 cent bean burrito ended up coming out to $3. 70 ? Cents. It really isn't much money but that's not the point.. the point is some people barely get by right now, some people aren't working right now, some people have three kids and they're single. so yeah $3.70 burrito could have fed three kids one burrito with just beans cheese and a tortilla and sauce think about that next time you short someone... you never know who's in need. So do me a favor today randomly give three people a bean and cheese burrito in lieu of me coming back to get mine or my money. somebody who looks like they might need it somebody might see out front sitting on the bench waiting for a bus go hand them a burrito. And after you do respond to this so I know that you really did because if you don't then I'm going to come and get my money I'm going to buy three burritos and I'm going to tell them and do it right in front of your store. Be kind and don't throw your food that you have leftover in the back dumpster I'll come pick it up and hand it out to some people not myself I will have friends even help me handed out to some hungry people on the streets.

The drive thru staff was clearly contemptuous of the customers as they were laughing at the customer behind me when I was at the window, then they gave me 4 hot sauces for 6 tacos and 1 burrito. Gonna start going to the Del Taco in the Sea Cliff plaza. The staff is better there.

We have been stuck in the drive thru for over thirty minutes. They are seriously taking forever. We couldn’t get out since there were several cars behind us. No explanation was given. The girls working were not kidding walking in slow motion. Even had to ask for our drink. The girl just started walking away.

The restaurant is supposed to be 24 hours and there's no one to take the order. I was waiting for about 10 minutes, I went through the."DT" again and nothing I'm very disappointed, there were even more cars behind me and they weren't taken care of them either

Went in this morning for a breakfast burrito at 6am. I was rudely told that the dining room doesn't open till 6:30am. Use the drive thru I was told. I explained that I road the bus to work today and that 4 weeks ago you served me in the dining room a little before 6am. The same person that served me then is telling me that didn't happen. Taco Bell is better anyways. I'll never patronize this Del Taco again. I hope their rudeness causes them to go out of business!!! Beach and Slater location.

Not impressed first time here Birra Tacos and Quesadilla taste ridiculous, all I can say is I tried it, I will not try it again. Taco had no cheese, the quesadilla taste like the regular quesadilla with green sauce just with meat.

Your staff need an attitude adjustment at this Del Taco on Beach and Slater. Not sure why they give poor customer care. Several times they act like serving me is a bother! Now the Del Taco on Warner and Springdale give excellent customer care. It is a pleasure to visit this store!!

Last few times I have been here the wait has been extremely long. Be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes for every car in front of you. If there 3 or 4 cars in line you can actually drive to a different del taco get food and drive back in less time.

I believe an employee there stole my benefits from my ebt card. They asked for my pin instead of giving me the pin pad whoever was working the afternoon shift drive thru on jan 23 2025. A few days later 1409$ was taken from my account. Do not ever give your pin to anyone, they should not have asked they probably scammed me

After spending 15 minutes waiting in line for the drive-thru, we just gave up. As did the four people behind us who backed out also. The service at this Del Taco has always been mediocre at best, but there was zero service today. The line literally did not move in 15 minutes. Go somewhere else is all I can recommend.

Dear Del Taco team, I have been a loyal customer for quite some time, but recently, it has been challenging to return due to terrible experiences. For instance, today I ordered two chicken burritos, but instead received lettuce and cheese burritos with no hint of chicken. I understand if prices need to increase, but maintaining the minimum quantity of chicken is crucial; otherwise, you risk losing customers

Just got home from a long day of work after making a last pit stop at del taco on beach and slater where everyone's " favorite" night time gentleman who is never pleasant to order from nor has he ever pretended to enjoy his job there in all the years I've come to this establishment and lo and behold once again after giving the benefit of doubt that I wouldn't need to sit there after how tired I already am and need to shuffle through the order I just placed with him to make sure it was all in there yet now I wish I had. I ordered 4 red burritos, a large fry, large vanilla milkshake and 1 ground beef burrito with sour cream. I dont understand how I received a bean and cheese burrito that also included chicken AND French fries Inside of the burrito!!! Is that even something people enjoy. And I was charged for everything I ordered yet given none of it correctly other than the shake. No receipt was included but thanks to venmo I was able to receive the extra charge! How am I supposed to contest this order with no receipt?? Big boy should be fired. He makes for a bad experience and this is about the 6th time he's messed up an order I've had. He's always the crew for the eveing / early morning orders and he should be replaced at this point. It is now 3:35am and I am now going to bed still starving bcuz I refuse to drive all tge way over there again to argue with that man. I hope the owner actually listens to the complaints he is receiving on here, your about to lose another loyal customer.

I ordered a chicken, a grilled chicken burrito. They gave it to me. the bottom was freezing cold and folded over kinda and hard real hard like it was sitting there all morning. They just gave it to me anyway. What are you doing, man? What do you do? you take it back? They're just gonna spit on the new one.

We live within 3 blocks of this location. We've been here many times. Customer Service is terrible. Not once have they gotten our order correct. Their fries use to be the best, but this location always serves soggy unsalted fries. Even when you order extra crispy. Our family has always been a Del Taco family, we are pretty sure it's just this location. Guess we've got to travel a bit to a better location. Too bad, we really do like Del Taco. This location just makes them look bad.

Del Taco is my jam. I eat it all the time and I’m surprisingly in good health. I legit eat it 3 times a week . I’m saying all this because I want corporate or whomever reads this to take me so seriously when I say this location has been run into the ground by the employees who seem to genuinely enjoy giving us the worst versions of what’s on the menu. I am telling you DONT GO TO THIS DEL TACO. There is another within 1.5 miles go there! The girls working there do not listen or care about anything.

I pulled up to the window to get my food and the women opens the window and says in the snarkiest voice I have ever heard "Next time, be in a car~" According to her this del taco has a policy that doesn't allow poor people to eat there. I'm not even joking. I thought maybe it was because I was in a 2 wheel vehicle and not a 4 wheel car. But she openly admitted that they hate the homeless and won't serve them even if they have money. Truly heartless. I will never eat at this location again obviously.

Slowest del taco ever. Every time I go through the drive through it’s 15+ minutes. They have messed our orders up multiple times. Food has been stale. Terrible management at this location. Ordered the cali bacon burrito and got home to find it a normal bean and cheese burrito. If you are in a rush I would not recommend coming here. If you are looking for “quality” fast food then this isn’t the location.

I experienced the worst ever drive thru service at this location on the early hours of Saturday night Sunday morning 4/24/22. When I pulled into the lot, I was like 5 cars just from the order board. It literally took a half hour just to place my order. I really would’ve left but once a number of cars pull in behind you, you’re like stuck. So after placing my order, I was sitting behind this car at the window for another 5-10 minutes. When I got my turn to receive my food, I looked at the service clock and it was over 3 minutes when I received my food. There was a guy working the window, probably 1 preparing and 1 big guy walking back & forth. How long does it take just to prepare orders when only drive thru is open and nit the dining room? I could’ve gotten food faster at a packed In n Out on Beach/Talbert faster than this Del Taco. Btw, this was the Beach/Slater location. I have NO IDEA what was taking so long but the guy working the window wasn’t even giving out receipts probably because he didn’t want the people doing surveys with time stamps on it, plus no apologies what do ever for the long waits? Management really needs to investigate why this happened? Looks like Jack in the Box has my business as I stay away from this location.

Waited almost 40 minutes in drive through because the lobby was already closed at 7:30 pm. The person taking the order got out order wrong. They didn’t repeat our order so we did not know it was wrong until we paid. Came from Colorado was excited to have del taco out here because it always taste better here. What a disappointment I would not recommend this del taco. The chicken tacos didn’t even have meat in them

Staff opened the restroom for me to use before I ordered. 1 issue: no TP. 2nd issue: staff opened the restroom for another customer while I was still using it before checking. Felt embarrassed, notified the staff, then decided to to go elsewhere to eat. Never going back to this location due to this experience.

I've been silent for too long, just hoping for change. Store #1503 on Beach & Slater is guaranteed the worst Del Taco in ALL of Orange County, CA. The service, wait time, and portions are appalling knowing how every single other location meets the standard minimum expected. The workers are curt and lack the least level of customer service skills any time day you go. Furthermore, no matter what time of day you're unfortunately at DT#1503 it takes an excessive amount of time to "have a quick meal" almost as if there's just one person single-handedly running the entire fast food restaurant. At last the final grievance that ignited this severe feedback is the portions served at this specific Del Taco are NOT what you pay for. The amount of food given doesn't even come close to what the nutritional value is supposed to be. I came today to get chicken soft tacos and they were smaller than the snack taco portion given at normal del's. It blew my mind that this specific place had enough funds to change their signage last month. When I have any other opportunity, I drive to another location. I'm so saddened that my closest Del Taco is THE WORST. I love Del Taco and it is my favorite fast food joint, except the one nearest to home.

Walked into this Deltaco at 12 noon lunch time. A Del taco employee using a strong spray cleaner for everytable in front of customers while they're eating. No consideration for people who are sensitive to chemicals.

This Del Taco is incapable of giving the right order. The last four times I have gone to this location they have gotten something wrong or didn't give us our entire order. Today we ordered a chicken and fries box and got chili cheese fries instead, the time before that we ordered 3 snack tacos beef only and received 1 snack taco with everything. The two times before that we ordered red burritos and received green burritos. It has not been super busy any of these times so I have no idea why they can't get it right. This has happened through the drive thru and ordering inside. The food tastes great when they give you what you ordered, but having to take time to check and open everything you ordered or go back when you find out they got it wrong is very inconvenient.

I ordered the AL Pastor Street Tocos meal. Two tacos, barley any meat 🥺 & tortilla not cooked. Both my tacos were all broken in two pieces at the bottom. Never again! I seriously feel as i was robbed from my money. 🥺 just very disappointed 😥

You can't order inside because they don't like the homeless. It says open till 10pm but as you can see I tried at 9pm and closed. Don't bother with the drive thru it will take you 30mins with only 4 cars.

Not clean. They need to re-staff this place asap. I canceled my order as soon as I pull up and saw the inside from the drive tru window. I can only imagine how it is where you cant see. Never coming back again. Too bad is on my way to work.

This place isn't open 24 hours, the window sign is a lie. It's seems like they actually close at 4:30AM because they just served the car in front of me but refused to serve me after a 20 min wait, I'm certain my gastrointestinal track will thank me in the morning. Great job guys

I order a streak wet burrito and I got a chicken wet burrito instead . My burrito had only three piece of chicken inside it and lite beans. I being coming to this place for some time and it never happened to me .
