Pleasantly surprised. This place is 24/7 with typical diner food. The waitress was new but still nice and did her best. The food was good , portion sizes were plentiful!

Fun Fact: I have been to every NORMS except two - Rialto and Las Vegas. I grew up on NORMS, my dad took us to the La Cienega/West Hollywood and old Pico/Westeood locations at least 1x/weekly. He would say "You just can't beat NORMS". This still holds true today. Sure, the $5.99 breakfast 🥞🍳, &7.99 lunches 🍔 🍽️ and & 9.99 steak dinners 🥩🍝🍗🍖 are over. The new ownership is kepping the legacy alive with new or rotating menu items. You can still get a deat here. 😁 Today, I got The T-bone steak and eggs with hash browns and hotcakes. My brother-from-another got the pork chop breakfast with eggs, hash browns, hotcakes w/coffee. $45.11 total minus tip. All was delicious 🤤 🤤 🤤 😋U CAN'T BEAT NORMS BABY! I'll be back 👍🏽

Very cold INSIDE RESTAURANT so people can leave bc it's crowded. If you want to stay, love yourself and please WEAR a ski jacket n thick pants. You will stay because the food is delicious and the place is fun and clean. You will stay for a long time to enjoy. The view of the busy street is amazing worth colorful city lights.

That's was my first time having Gumbo and it was delicious. The restaurant was very busy full but we had no problem getting a table and the waiters were very polite.

I had a great dinner experience at Norms! From start to finish, the service was excellent. Our server, Khan, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. He checked in at just the right times, kept our drinks full. Great service, food, and fair prices!

Had dinner tonight and our server was Khan. Service is always fast, courteous and attentive. Khan was extremely happy and always with a smile on his face. He took care of us like family and that’s the reason why we go to Norms. They have career servers and not part time teenagers that are just there for a job. The family owned business is way above any franchise eating place and it shows that management actually trains their people. Some of them have been there for decades.

Im accused of leaving only bad reviews at times. I really try to give credit to great places too. On the way here from Phoenix we had a horrendous experience in Banning CA at a place we had always enjoyed in the past. We are here in HB for the weekend,and found this Gem. Everything was amazing. Service, food, pricing. Will definitely be back. Looks like this is a chain in SoCal, which is better as well. Thank you for a great experience.

Music git a little weird for what we’re used to here towards the end of our visit (usually its oldies through ‘80s and it’s the best). Hashbrowns were a little over-cooked, but everything else was good. Joaquin topped off our drinks often and is always who we ask for when we come, because he knows good service!

Norms is great place for a good quick meal. Nothing fancy just your good old neighborhood dinner serving a fair meal that tastes good and is filling. See lots of locals stopping in for breakfast and a cup of coffee that gets topped off quickly. I like the steak and eggs. They have multiple chooses from t-bone to sirloin to New York. And their Eggs Benedict is classic and good. Or their offer several other versions too. For Huntington Beach, this place has been here forever and is loved by the locals. Everybody knows Norms.

Great food, great price, fast service. Love this Norms! Update, food is still cooked great, Jody our server was excellent and we feel that we had better food and service than a lot of the other places we've gone lately. The only reason for the lower rating is that they were out of Mac N Cheese for our picky kid and no blueberry topping for my pancakes. I understand it's the busy time of season but they were out, sooooo 4 stars.

I generally love a good 24 hour diner especially for breakfast. IMO, Norms was mediocre. Food average, service (decent) and atmosphere, clean and plenty of seating, diner vibe for sure.

We ordered chocolate chip pancakes and they gave us pancakes and a tiny bowl of chocolate chips on the side. For a $5 upcharge. Called over and over and nobody would even pick up. We came in and nobody even greeted us so we had to order to go from our phone while sitting there. Nuts. We have been there during the day with no big problem but nighttime staff is ridiculously bad. Dennys is way better so if it's nighttime just go there because you won't get real help from Norms after 9 o'clock.

Usually, the food here is okay in services okay too, but this time it was below par, our meal, we had a soup and a salad that was fine, so but the meal I had steak and fries, my steak was cold. My fries were cold. My wife had steak and baked potato with her meal that looked like it had been reheated twice already. I was supposed to have Shrimp with my meal that came last and that was the only thing that was hot. I don't know if they were waiting for the shrimp or just got backed up on orders, but it was very disappointing.over all.A hot meal and service can make or break the meal.
