Riip Beer Company is a popular spot in Huntington Beach known for its excellent craft beer, especially IPAs, and delicious pizza (Detroit style and NY style). The smash burgers and wings are also well-regarded. Service is frequently praised, especially Zach.

This place has a surprisingly, really good offering of beer's. I've been to a lot of breweries, and they're all the rage now. So everybody's trying to get into it. But this place has very tasty beers. I especially love IPAs and their West Coast IPAs are phenomenal. They rotate their beers quite a bit. So if you fall in love with one, you're going to have to be open to falling in love with another one. But if you wait, it'll come back around, my favorite is Loose Trucks. That's a banger... super citrusy, hoppy, malty a little bit and super delicious. Now, you're gonna fall in love with the beer, but then you're going to love the food. Their pizzas are delicious, but their Smashburger is really, really good. They have your choice of 1000 or mustard with the burger. And then get the extra pickles because they are tasty. The service is awesome. They come by frequently and ask you if you need another beer. So come and check this place out. You're going to love it.
I've been going to Riip regularly for a couple of years now and I have to say that they're definitely doing something special here. The food, the drinks, and the service are exceptional. I love their IPAs! The ambiance is super chill and lively at the same time. It's family and pet friendly as well. Fernando and all the OG staff from the Magnolia location as well as some of the new members of the team really make regulars like me feel right at home. Phenomenal energy from the staff! Every instance I go out to eat, I end up comparing to the standards Riip offers their customers and I have to say, most can't even compare. I'm always recommending people to try this place out. As long as Riip keeps on doing what they've been doing, they've got a Riip fan for life!
Love this place! The beers are really good, the brewers definitely know what they’re doing, and they have a great range of beers. Food is really good too. Pizza is more New York style and they use quality ingredients. Got the wedge salad and the pretzels with cheese and both were great. Parking fills up fast on the weekends but they do have free valet or you can park on PCH and walk a bit. Mostly dining inside with some outdoor dining.
This is great! Food and beer are amazing. Loved the smash burger and the Detroit style pizza. Valet parking is free which can be very convenient given their location (on PCH). There's plenty of space to lock your bike as well. There's video games for the kids and TV's for the parents ... they open early on Sunday for NFL fans. My family and I love this place.
Had my brother's 50th birthday party here. Let's start with the service because you will not find better service. Zach was awesome. Sometimes, with a large party, you get ignored due to the mandatory gratuity, not these guys they ensured drinks were coming out quickly. The food was hot, and Timly thank you for making it a great event
Riip has expanded a lot, and there is a pizza shop next to it. I drink beer here, order a pizza, and watch the surfing. The Hazy is my favorite.

My wife and I drove up the coast at the urging of a waiter at another restaurant to enjoy their pizza. We ordered the 18" with extra cheese, pepperoni and bacon and it was absolutely delicious. It was more pizza than the two of us could eat in one seating, but was enjoyable a second time. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great pizza. If I lived locally I would eat here every week. One caution is that they require 30-60 mins to provide your pizza depending on how busy they are when you order. It's worth the wait, order another beer.
For a Thursday afternoon it was slammed but Madison handled it like a pro she was amazing , great beers and great pizza, I love it's dog friendly too.
RIIP Beer Company – Huntington Beach’s Pizza Gem! Look no further: this is, hands down, the best pizza in Huntington Beach, California. Having tried almost everything on the menu, I can say with confidence that RIIP Beer Company doesn’t miss. The pizzas are out of this world, the rest of the food is just as impressive, and the consistency is what really sets them apart. But what makes the experience even better is the staff. They’re not only on top of their game, they’re genuinely welcoming, attentive, and just plain sweet people. You can feel that they love what they do, and it shows in the atmosphere as much as in the food. Sure, there might be a little wait at times, but it’s absolutely worth it. RIIP Beer Company is a place that takes pride in every detail, and it shines through. If you want top-notch food served with heart, this is the spot.

This place really is one of the best for brewing in so cal. I might not be a certified cicerone but you will not be let down. It's been a while since I've seen loose trucks but chain out will do. Smash a burger and if you care about dough the pizza hits, no bones about it unless your carb count.
Medium size crowd on a weekday during happy hour. Although out of some, several craft beers were available,on tap, cold, flavorful and less than $5!! Atmosphere and seating inside and some outside was fine, clean, decent restroom, some TVs to watch sports, and not too noisy to talk. Walk up to counter to order, friendly bartender gave free taste. Can find free parking by driving around the building. Probably a 4 star location, but deserving of a 5 for price. Great place to have a cold one!
Absolutely delicious!!! This place has everything! The service was amazing, the ambiance, and of course the food. My girlfriend and I shared the fungi delicious, mo money mo problems , and the WINGS Hawaiian style. The food will blow your mind. So bomb. I can’t say enough things, and I don’t do very many reviews, but this was worth it! Enjoy :)
Always friendly and courteous service. The cesar salad is divine. Berry cider delicious and cold. The hot dog-skin-on is delicious as well. Peak hours are super busy. Get there earlier if you don’t want the wait, however, waiting is worth it.
This is our go-to spot in Huntington Beach for burgers and beer. The smash burgers are excellent, the wings are solid, the IPA selection is always on point, and the atmosphere is fun and easygoing. Exactly what a neighborhood favorite should be.
Stopped in on our first trip to LA from Australia. Really impressed by the beer range — lots of unique brews, and the Super Cali was a favourite. Happy hour was good value and the wings with Texas dry rub and blue cheese sauce hit the spot. Worth checking out if you're in Sunset Beach.

This is a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy a good craft beer. They also have seltzers which are very tasty. The food is also pretty fantastic and you can bring in outside food from nearby restaurants. The only downfall is that this place can be very loud. Pets and kids are welcome. My suggestion is to leave them at home.
The server was really friendly, I didn’t catch the name but she had brunette hair. The flavor of the pizza was good and the crust was crispy. It was a tad greasy though. I’m not a huge fan of Detroit-style, so I might try the other ones next time. I also wish there were more veggie options for the pizza; but, there’s a decent variety of flavors nonetheless. 🍕

More like 3.5 star's. Ordered a Detroit style pizza with 3 toppings out of which one was non existent! Pizza was greasy and salty. They got the focaccia based crust right and the char on the sides was fine too. Price is higher for the size but the saltines, greasiness and the fact that the third topping for which I was charged $2 was non-existent makes it 3.5 stars.
I've been here multiple times and enjoy their food and beer however, last time we went our group got up from the table as the place was cleaning up and I forgot my sunglasses on the table. There was barely anyone in there and nobody sitting next to us. I got to the car and immediately realized I didn't have them. I ran back in and someone was cleaning under the table. I asked if there were any sunglasses found. It was an immediate no and back to work. Not a let me check with someone or get your number... I must've ran into the manager or someone who actually gave a F on the way out and she noticed the interaction and she wrote down my name and number. It just felt really shady. I don't think we'll be back. I get it that anything could've happened but by demeanor it just felt off.

Would be great if they served pizza after it was made. So many times we've ordered pizza here and they serve it at room temperature. Tonight was no exception. Ordered pizza and waited an extraordinarily long time and it comes cold. I've had them reheat slices so I avoided the slices and ordered whole pizzas only to be more disappointed. Seriously, I order a whole pizza I should be careful eating it so I don't burn my mouth. Instead I get cold pizza.
People have glowing reviews about this place so I tried it. I don't get it. Beers are an odd selection of IPAs if that's what you want. I didn't enjoy my choice. Ordered 2 Detroit style slices. It took nearly an hour; we were at the bar, not the restaurant. We saw other people taking toppings off nearly burned slices. Our slices were way too crispy. You couldn't cut them with a knife. It was very chewy. $7 for a slice, just not happening. I've eaten a lot of pizza, never waited that long. Our bartender was very nice, but I think he forgot about the food. Like others said, parking is horrible. At the restaurant, the wait for 2 on a Saturday night at 7:30 was 45 minutes, which was ridiculous. We ate at the bar but maybe we would've gotten the pizza quicker at the restaurant.
Not too impressed. Thin crust pizza is thin, like I like it, but also seems mostly crust. And, like in other reviews, is somewhat salty which unless the service is keeping up, can be an issue since the beers are tiny. A „large“ is a whopping 16oz! Be sure to order waters on the side. So don’t come thirsty and with the hour wait time for two pizzas, don’t come hungry either. Best bet is to place a to-go order with a take-home „growler“ (32oz like half a pitcher) of beer (which is only allowed to be sold to-go). I’ll stick with HB Beer Co. were I can get a pitcher of beer, (can’t here) or a few 22 oz glasses, pizza is good, variety of food better. Located at the pier but without that „beach“ (arrogant and take it or leave it) attitude.
