Went for a power walk and ended up here for food. Wasn’t sure if I wanted breakfast or lunch until I saw the Ahi bowl. Our server said it was fabulous which changed up my friends order as well. Great back patio and our server was fantastic! Ahi poke bowl was yummy. I need that! The ahi tower looked good, too, if you need a lighter option. Great juice options so you can have champagne and guava, mango or cranberry juice. Great menu and lots of choices. Highly recommend!
Great spot, we came in for brunch, and the food is really good. We opted on the back patio, so it's easier for the kids, and it has heaters to keep you warm. I got the Loco Moco with brown gravy and a side of Portuguese sausage, and I highly recommend the Portuguese sausage. I liked the flavor of the gravy and the eggs with runny yokes. It's perfectly cooked. The meat tasted ok to me, but it's a great bite with all the components. We also got the cinnamon roll bread, and it's huge, chocolate pancake for the kiddo and side of bacon. Breakfast tacos that are so good come with a spicy sauce that is so good. is good, and our server was really friendly, especially to our kids special it made it easier to order. When you visit Huntington Beach Main St. Make sure to stop by here and you will not be disappointed.
Oh My! What an experience 👌 We loved the patio on back of the restaurant which made our family really appreciate the opportunity to spend time together without worrying about where our kids were. Small family ambiance with superb dishes that are unmatched for n Huntington Beach. Fine, delicate flavors of Hawaii with the huge American portions people love. Go 🎈📌
Hidden gem and hands down one of the best Hawaiian dishes I've ever had on the mainland. Their Crab Wontons were stuffed with real crab and the best ever. Definitely worth seeking out. The chef and staff are amazing.
Great customer service & delicious, freshly made food. We tried the Spicy Ahi Tuna bowl which was bursting with flavor & spice, also tried the linguisa burrito with salsa & sour cream..delicious! Finally, we got the loco moco (double order) which was also full of flavor.
The size of this restaurant can be easy to miss in a blink but great location downtown. I tried the Boss Burger which was fantastic. I ate it pretty quickly. I guess I was hungry 😆 They had a special on Baby Mai Tais for $7. Pretty good prices for lunch.
Amazing food. We came by for breakfast and had some of the best looking AND best tasting food. The waffle was so yummy and came with so much fruit. The pancakes were stunning and the coconut syrup is delicious. The pork Benedict was life changing and the potatoes that came on the side was so good too. We sat on the back patio and got served right away. POG juice is the way to go. This place is dog friendly so you can bring your dog and have them sit with you in the back patio. They have been open for 20 years and have had the same chef since day one!
No Ka Oi, located in the heart of Huntington Beach, CA, offers a blend of Hawaiian and American cuisine that has locals and visitors. This cozy eatery stands out not just for its unique menu but also for the vibrant atmosphere that captures the aloha spirit. Whether you’re in the mood for a traditional Hawaiian plate lunch or a hearty American breakfast.
So it was between this and Sugar shack Cafe. A local persuaded us into Nokaoi, and I’m so glad we made the choice. I like a good a la carte option for breakfast, which they had plenty of! My husband got a big breakfast plate! All was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. They also have inside and outside seating.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Get there early as Main street only manages to get busier the later it gets, especially during summer. This Hawaiian inspired place gets an A+ for their macadamia nut pancakes and homemade Portuguese sausage which really reminds me of the fare in Maui. The Kalua Pua benedict was delicious, albeit a bit soggy. The service is friendly and quick and the covered back patio is a nice step away from the constant foot traffic in the front.
Always wonderful food and service here for Breakfast! Been coming here over 30 years! Nice to grab breakfast then walk across the street to the pier. Preferably eat outdoors on their patio. The restaurant is quite tight and loud.

So impressed with the dishes here. We got the poke nachos and they were unbelievable. There was so much tuna! And it's not like a pile of nachos where everything on the bottom is bare. Every single chip was covered in toppings. The French toast was also delicious. Made with Kings Hawaiian, how could you go wrong! The only thing we weren't crazy about was the edamame. It was a bit too heavy on the garlic.
WOW, first time here. The chef did a fantastic job on my order. Food is delicious! Full Bar, indoor outdoor sitting. Staff is nice and attentive (midweek morning). Glad to have taken this morning walk.

10.3.25: I was visiting a friend who lives down here and she comes here on a regular and said I had to try it. It's California so I already knew parking was going to be difficult, not to mention it's the weekend of the air show. However, we found parking in a near by garage, which was just a short walk across the street to the restaurant. When we walked in, my friend wanted to sit at the bar, so we did. She saw her friend Charlie was working and he was our server. He was pretty laid back and friendly. My friend ordered us the edamame as an appetizer and it was really good. It took a while for it to arrive, but when it did, it was hot, spicy, and garlicky. It was pan fried with some really yummy spices. As for entrees, I ordered the Aloha Bowl with tofu and my friend ordered the same but with broccoli beef. It also comes with 2 fried vegetable spring rolls. My tofu bowl full of flavor and decently sized too. The spring rolls were a nice addition and were fried well done. I would order the tofu bowl again. Ambience wasn't too busy and the general feel I get from the place is that they are super laid back and run on island time, if you know what I mean. Since we're right on the beach, this Hawaiian inspired spot was perfect for lunch.
American breakfast place with a Hawaiian twist. Decent breakfast/brunch choice on Huntington Beach Main Street. There are some outdoor seating with great view of cars and people walking by.
Great location. Service is good but could improve on checking up once in a while. Food is good. Not 5 stars but not too bad. The burrito was great but the waffles and omelet worth 4 stars.
No Ka Oi is a familiar phrase for someone like me who is from Hawaii. The immediate impression is that they have “local food” and glancing quickly at the menu at the front desk I saw the standard local dishes that indicated that they were someplace I wanted to eat. After all, I was in Huntington Beach feeling the ocean vibe. Instantly my mind started imagining the Rainbow’s Drive-in Waikiki. Sitting down at a table a friendly waiter soon approached me with a menu. Great! I’m hungry! Wanting to grind! So I looked over the menu and settled on the corned beef hash with gravy. I asked if it came with rice. Of course I did, but the waiter wasn’t sure and asked if I minded an up charge if it wasn’t. Strange, I thought. Definitely not a local food joint. Brah! Rice comes with everything! Lol! I just said no problem. Corned beef for a local boy Filipino is a must! I asked for the gravy on the side. I also ordered the pork belly char siu. Promising because it was spelled local style char siu! I’m a sucker for fatty pork! After about 20 minutes I received my order. The corned beef was interesting. Definitely not a local style corned beef plate. Maybe it is local inspired. The gravy which did not come on the side but poured all over, was a white gravy similar to what I usually see on chicken fried steak. It also came with vegetables that I typically do not see with corned beef. Not to judge, because everyone tells me that I need to eat more vegetables! Lol! Props to the restaurant, it wasn’t canned corned beef, but decent sized pieces of a side of a corned beef brisket. The reason I ask for gravy on the side is because sometimes the plate comes drowning in brown gravy. I took a few bites. It wasn’t bad but not what I am used to it came with rice. I don’t know if I got charged because I didn’t really look at the bill. I asked for box to bring my leftovers home and have it with my own rice. Japanese short grain white rice and eat the char siu in the comfort of home. Will I return? It depends on how my leftovers taste! Mahalo nui loa!
Busy kinda morning when I went, food was amazing, wife had to return her food (still a bit raw) but came back out and was amazing, slow on drink refils but everything is getting back to normal and they have a sign saying they need extra help so I fully understand, good food which is all that really matters in the end, good experience. Honestly one of the best eggs Benedict I've tasted in California. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection so compliments to the cook. Has a cool bar environment, plenty of indoor amd outdoor seating.
Hearty burger with unremarkable fries. Traditional poke was pretty good. The Mermaid Bowl had delicious fish with plain beans and raw cabbage. Beer on tap was yummy. Great view for people watching.

My favorite breakfast spot downtown. Their French toast is always a hit, the fruit they use is fresh, and their coconut flavored syrup is so unbelievably delicious. The last time I went was sometime in the winter of this year, and they had changed the way they made their mimosas. About 6 years ago they would hand me a carafe with what tasted like hand squeezed oj but this last time it tasted like cheap gallon oj was clearly a disappointment, bartender was a bit rude too was seemed to be annoyed I was in a good mood, to be fair not uncommon demeanor for bartenders downtown HB, but still….the plates are huge and definitely worth the price!

The restaurant is very tight. Very difficult to get into the seats and I'm not a very big person so I can't imagine what it's like for others. The service was mid saw the waitress 3 times in an hour. The food looked amazing but really lacked flavor. The eggs were cooked beautifully but the hollandaise sauce had a weird kick and tang that it shouldn't have in my opinion. The pork on my eggs Benedict was kinda dry and I didn't like the flavor, it did not go well with the dish at all. Stick to Canadian bacon for your Benedict I guess. My husband got the Moco loco the gravy was decent but the meat on this was also dry. There are better quality restaurants for the cost. I won't be returning. Maybe just for drinks, the Mai Thai was fabulous!

We live within walking distance. Love to support local businesses. This place has been around for years. It needs a facelift. Food is good. We sat in the back patio. Many of the local restaurants are the same. Building is old, furniture is getting beat, floor is dirty, boxes crates ect are stacked up.
