I love the new Birria Tacos! My only comment is they are sold as 5 tacos and I wish there was a smaller plate option with only 2 or 3 tacos.

One of my go to lunch spots in Hutto and it is always delicious. The portions are great and everything has been better than expected.

Their menu is quite lengthy. Would be hard not to find something to eat. The drink menu also has quite a few choices. The food was very good as was the service. Worth the drive from Round Rock.

Held our Tasty Tuesday dinner here for the first time. Based on reading online reviews we weren't sure whether it would be a fantastic or horrible experience. There was nothing bad about our outing on this occasion. We were promptly seated after which Alex took excellent care of us. Chips and salsa were immediately delivered along with our drinks. They were all continually topped off or replenished without having to ask throughout our meal. Everyone spoke highly of their individual food orders as evidenced by the fact that there was nothing left to take home. It was a very enjoyable experience and we'll definitely go back. Thanks again Julio. Keep up the good work!

Excellent green salsa. We really liked all of the food there. The prices are reasonable and they actually know how to cook fajitas. Most places overcook them until they are dry. Give them a try.

My lunch was really good. Combo plate with deep fried stuffed avocado filled with chicken fajita & cheese, a crispy taco, cheese enchilada, rice & beans. The salsa, green salsa, pico were spot on fresh and spicy. Will visit again.

Decided to stop in here for dinner this evening. The food served here is no frills Mexican cuisine. Food and drink prices were decent and customer service was quite good. I had multiple wait staff check on me during my visit. The chips and salsa were good and neither the red or green were spicy, but had good flavors. I started with their jumbo house margarita on the rocks. The waitress brought it out in short order. I did find it to be a bit sweet for my tastes, but I did enjoy it. Wanting to try a couple of food options I ordered the shrimp and crab quesadilla and the shrimp enchiladas. Both came out quick and had good flavor. I did find the rice and beans could have been seasoned a bit more, but were good. Overall, the food hit the spot and I'd come back again. I would love to try some other dishes on the menu.

Been here a couple of times, shrimp tacos are good, so are their skillets and nachos! Service is nice and welcoming. Not the best Mexican food but ok, I've been across and around Texas and this place is the only place that I know that makes their carne guisada different so I was a bit disappointed. Their cheese enchiladas were another disappointment too, tortilla had a funky taste and the shredded cheese inside was not even fully melted.

We went for lunch while visiting the area. Our waiter was hard to understand. We asked for things that we didn’t get because he either didn’t understand us or forgot to get it. The food was ok. The red salsa was very tasty . A little too hot for me though. Not sure I would go back

Arrived at 11:30. First time visit. Asked about the breakfast menu and was informed that they stopped serving breakfast at 11am. Chips and salsa were ok. Neither salsa was spicey nor notably flavorful. Ordered the Carne Guisada plate. Arrived at the table a little cooler than I was expecting. Overall, the dish was good. Good seasoning, gravy was good, meat was tender. Rice and beans were good. Guacamole, pico de gallo, and veggies were fresh. Tortillas were unimpressive. I'd visit again. I'll try the fajitas and a margarita next time.

The chips were stale Maybe yall should try the chips before serving them. I searched for meat couldn't find any. In my food definitely would not recommend.

I knew Julio, used to get his chips and salsa in Del Rio every weekend. He was fanatic about quality, and taste. Plastic silverware? In a restaurant? Very disappointed.

We used to order breakfast tacos here a lot via grubhub. The tacos were decent and was a decent value for the price. Unfortunately they decided to go up on their prices to where it's almost 50% more for the same order I had a week ago. Now it isn't worth ordering anymore. Responding to the answer I got on this review, and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, I can see the same markup on other "3rd party" ordering services. So yes, it does seem as though they upped the price on delivery items.

Unfortunately I have to give 1 star, we’ve been dining here since we moved to Hutto over a year and a half ago 2-3 times a month. Tonight we went in 10-15 minutes before closing and was told we could not be seated because they are closed mind you there was customers inside dining still. The food has always been good reasonably priced and decent service. If you plan on closing early turn off your signage or change your business hours. We came to Chuys and they are gladly taking customers even as they are preparing for close. We will never dine at Julio’s again completely lost our business.
