Really fresh Mediterranean food! I like the quality of the meat. It's never too heavy. I feel great after eating here. Also, I like the fact that they use paper takeout containers, and not plastic containers. Stephanie was really kind. The staff are always nice here.
I really recommend this place the food is really good and the cashier saray provide us and excellent service she is very nice and gentle she is always with a good attitude and always smile she really help all people specially when they only speak Spanish is really nice to have someone that speak Spanish as well.
This place is always good but this time I have been dying to try their infamous San Diego wrap. It really is huge, it's the size of my forearm actually!!!! I loved everything in it but the only thing I would change is probably less or completely take out the feta cheese. It can be a little strong and overwhelming with the rest of the ingredients but other than that, i loved everything. I might ask them to change the meat too, I personally don't care for gryo and I would rather have the chicken. And their chicken is yummy. Can't wait to again. I filled lots of containers with their yogurt and jalapeno sauce. I wish they had bigger containers so I don't have to make as many but I did it while I was waiting.
Kebab shop is probably one of the most well-priced quick Mediterranean food spots around. The manager, Lalo, really went out of his way to make sure our catered order had more than enough sauce, utensils, plates, and all the right items. I asked for so much sauce I was sure he would say no the 3rd time I went back but nope, instead he was very humble and without hesitation said yes do you want the big one or small ones. That’s the type of service that really makes me want to come back. Thanks Lalo and Kebab Shop. You’ve got a customer for life.
Always a great experience every time we come out here. Our stop when coming up from SD to OC. Angel provided great service and explained in detail to my wife the different meal options. Clean place, great food, and great service. What else can you ask for.
Food was great and Manuel the person that help us with our order was Very helpful with everything we ask his service was young expectations thank you, Manuel you made a regular dinner into a great dinner time with friends and family
Excellent service, very good food and good customer service, I am always lucky that Saray takes my order she is a very charismatic and respectful person who always treats customers well
I usually order the lamb beef wrap and fries. Sometimes I’ll switch out the fries for the chickpea salad and hummus. Everything is always fresh and tasty. The meat/veg ratio is balanced. Service is always courteous. The interior is always clean.
Our first time trying the restaurant and we had a very pleasant dinner! Our waitress was friendly and she even offered us a complimentary fries as a side dish! We will def come back again! The service was great and the food was delicious!
Food was great. The wrap I got was fresh, colorful and visually appealing. I really liked the portion size. Service from Stephanie was awesome. Will definitely be back!
Food was great. Worker named Chris was extremely nice and helpful
Had a great dinner last night at this location.... The food was delicious and we got great service, Carolina had great recommendations and was super friendly. I would 100% recommend having a nice meal here.
Edit: I left a 4-star review and was right away contacted by the restaurant asking for more information on why my experience was not 5-star. That alone deserved the 5th star for me. I knew that they care and want to improve. Perfect customer service. I went back and had a great meal again. Thank you!
I might as well own stock in this business with how frequently my wife and I return... The wraps are so huge my wife and I split one and it's still a ton of food. It's 10/10 every time. Favorite place especially for the price.
The food is amazing and cooked to perfection. The service was just as good and I can’t wait to comeback. Thank you to the lady who was working at 12pm 05/05.
Food was tasty, enjoyed the wraps - I liked how thin the wrap itself was, was a nice contrast to how full it was in general. The cilantro sauce and pickled onions were my faves!! Wraps range from $13+ depending on your protein and any add ons (rice should be free but that’s a company issue not this location). Great customer service, thank you for helping us out Angel. :) Would definitely recommend!
Such a great place! The food is amazing and the service was so great! The wrap is huge and filled with loads of thinly sliced meats. The kabob fries was my favorite as well. This place should be busy 24/7! 10/10 must try!
Just so happen to be in this area decided to give this spot a try. I’m glad I came and will definitely return in the future. The food looks and tastes fresh with just the right amount of each ingredient. The portion was slightly more than expected but I’m a big back so no worries there. Jose was awesome and explained the menu since it was my first time. I got the San Diego with lamb/beef meat choice and it was delicious not dry and full of flavor!Overall I loved everything!!!
Food is great, service is just as good. Fresh ingredients and great vibes. Definitely will be coming back.
The cashier, Sophia was so sweet and provided excellent customer service. She also greeted every customer that came in. She helped me picked which chicken I should get. I got the chicken wrap. It was huge! It was so good. I’ve added their garlic yogurt sauce and it made it 10x better. The food was cooked fresh. They also had upbeat music playing so it’s not awkwardly silent inside. It’s also very clean. This place is very affordable. Not many places make their food affordable for many people nowadays. I will definitely come back.
It was good. I would come again. I had the lamb beef plate.
The chicken shwamara is amazing and pita and saffron rice
It was amazing Food was so good (their garlic sauce is amazing) And people are so kind (thanks Sofia😆) I'll definitely visit again
I love this place! The lamb wrap is amazing! The chicken too! I don’t think you can go wrong in anything you order. And Stephany was so friendly!

Our kid’s track team had a fundraising event here and I’m so glad they did! This was our first time at TKS and we will definitely be back. Everything was freshly made and absolutely delicious. The falafel was so good - moist and incredibly flavorful. Wendy suggested the crave fries and these did not disappoint. She was so helpful in helping us pick out items on the menu. We had the Super Duper wrap, chicken schwarma bowl and Caesar crunch plate. Get the pita crumbles on your bowl or plate - they make the dish!
Once again Kabob shop hits the spot. I had some work in Irvine and was craving some kebabs and I was happy to see Jonathan here. Always has a smile on his face. Food was fire and the sauce was the boss. 10 out of 5 stars!!
Food was great! We had to order more, the chicken was so flavorful and tender. Definitely coming back!
This is a great concept for a restaurant. I'd call it Mediterranean fast food but the quality is great. I asked Wendy for a little insight into some menu items and she explained everything very well. I highly recommend TKS.
I went to the one on Culver in Irvine their food is absolutely delicious and their prices are very reasonable, and I got absolutely amazing service from Jonathan their manager

The food was good. It should be called the wrap shop, because they don't really have kabobs. The meat that was cut off the spit was very processed looking. In the spit, it looked like a can of dog food... in the wrap it looked a little better. Taste was good... nothing stands out. The fries though, they were BOMB! The loaded ones, I forgot the name. Amazing. I didn't order them but wished I had when I tried my brother's! The wrap was good, huge so it was also next day's lunch. Salad, humus, pita we also good. Note that the wrap is in a tortilla, not pita.
Good food, quick service, nice decor, choice of indoor or outdoor seating, what more could you want from a strip mall marketplace? I liken the kebabs to a Greek burrito in jest, but that is helpful to the uninformed sometimes. Parking is dynamic here so slow down and be patient.
This place used to be our go to, from choices like donerg and cava. The thing is that shrinkflation keeps occurring and the price is already pretty expensive ($16-18 a wrap). A wrap used to be pretty big, and now it's smaller than a subway sandwich. Not cool. Taste is good and the sauces are still generous. Hope they can fix the portioning issue. **edit: 12/27/24 portioning is better. bumping an additional star to three for now.

Ordered a to go order with a super duper wrap with lamb, tzatziki dip with pita chips and fire hummus with pita chips. The tzatziki dip was hardly any in there in comparison to the hummus. That was disappointing. It wasn’t bad but not mind blowing either. The fire hummus was ok, again not bad but not mind blowing either. A bit too spicy for a hummus imo. The wrap I had ordered hot sauce on the side and never received it. First bite it was very dry. Literally hard to swallow dry. The lamb was seemingly overcooked or had been left out too long under a heat lamp and just beyond dry. There also wasn’t any flavor that was popping here. This should be a very flavorful wrap. Not sure if the cooks were not on their A game or this is standard practice ? Nothing worse than a wrap that is that dry. And this is supposedly the wrap that put them on the map?! If that’s the case then I’m certainly not eager to go back and try anything else. First impression is very important. My impression was that there was not a lot of care put into the food and just slapped together. Portions being shorted, missing hot sauce I ordered etc. Not the best experience.
I took a delivery, and the portion size was a surprise; it was very small. I am not sure whether the management decided to cut down the size or it was specific to the location. I've never seen this size before. Also, the rice was hard. I am missing the taste, as I used to have it before.

New update: ordered again, still horrible. No one enjoys plates that are intended to be hot as ice cold meals for a premium. Update: I was offered to make things right by emailing them. No response. Even worst to ask to fix things and then ignore the customer. Updated rating to reflect overall experience. The food was not fresh or good. Ordered a Greek salad but it was wilted. Ordered the beef/lamb plate, but the rice was dry and hard (overcooked and stale). I also got a side of fries that were limp and room temp. Arrived 10 minutes after I ordered, and a few minutes before the ordered was set to be done. I hoped the food, quality and taste would have been better.
worst gyro meat ive ever had. especially for 18 dollars. meal comes with two sides, but rice and pita each count as a side. ive eaten at places that are cheaper, better tasting, and include rice and pita along with the other sides. restaurant also smells bad.
I left a feedback review through their QR code in the store but figured this is important for people to know…they do NOT allow substitutions in their foods. For example, if you cannot eat onions they will not sub for cucumber or tomatoes. This is terrible, if you have a food allergy, they won’t respect it, they’ll charge you more to “add” it in. Not like we were subbing a vegetable for a meat…We passed on their fries cause of this issue, the wrap we got wasn’t filled up, and they put onion in it when we said “no onion” lol. I didn’t even want to ask for a remake after the previous debacle, just will suffer with the heartburn and won’t return. Update: I used their website to contact the owner. They wanted to send a coupon that I wasn’t able to access, and no response to the above mentioned issues
This branch refused to give us the salad aside as every other branch does. I eat in Kabab shop twice to three times a month. I left and not returning to this branch again.
The carved chicken wrap with standard fillings is our fav. The garlic yoghurt inside is perfect combo. The taste is ok. I would not say for the rep. I do not think that he knows how to take an order. Sometimes even rude. I did not leave there happy last time.
The food tasted alright but my complaint is about the value. I ordered the basic lamb Kebob wrap and the wrap was 90% lettuce 10% meat. It cost 16$ without a drink. Youre basically getting a salad with a little meat wrapped up in a tortilla. But if you want to pay for more meat, that’s another 6$. Almost 50% of the wrap cost itself and I’m skeptical how much more meat you’d get. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you’re craving a gyro wrap. This place serves gyro salads disguised as wraps
First time I ordered here last night and I ordered for to go at kiosk for build your own plate with Beef Krofta and as add on extra chicken shawarma. When I picked up and got home there's no extra chicken shawarma, I paid extra $6 for it and nothing. I hope somebody could reach out to me for this issue pls.
Jose the manager does not appreciate the customer.. I ordered steak and was rare. I asked the one who was standing on the counter to cook a little bit more and he refused because I already taken my order. I told him but this is too rare. My kids cannot eat it. Can you replace it? And he said no we will not Replace it. He said that it’s the way we cooked it here. it was not the first time I eat steak in this location. I have told him, but you didn’t ask me how well I needed it and he said we don’t ask the customer!!! I ask for the manager and he surprised me that he is a manager. He literally ignored me and I had to throw the order. I will not eat in that location anymore they don’t appreciate the customer.
I’ve always had great experiences with TKS—until I visited the Irvine location. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst meals I’ve had. The bowl I ordered was completely off in terms of portioning compared to other locations I frequent, and it was drenched in an overwhelming amount of sauce. The plate I ordered was even more disappointing—it had such a thin layer of rice that for $17, you’d expect at least a proper base. What really sealed the experience was seeing my food sit on the counter for 15 minutes without anyone calling it out i assumed it was a to go order—especially considering we were the only dine-in customers at the time. Sadly, I won’t be returning to this location and won’t be recommending it to others.
I really wanted to like this place but after two separate visits it's clear this place is a rip off. All their pictures and social media show wraps overflowing with meat and fries but each time I have gone they don't add more than 4 pieces of gyro and 6 fries.....all for a $20 wrap!!!!! I held out hope it would get better at the bottom of the wrap but the good times never came. Should rename this place The Lettuce Shop. Go to literally any other Mediterranean restaurant.

The food was cold, and it took a long time to prepare. After taking home three plates, one of the side was missing. The fryer wasn’t working, so side options were limited. The tabbouleh was extremely salty and overly lemony impossible to eat.
