Such a cute hidden gem. Live music until 9pm on Saturday. Large grass area for kids ti run and play. Lots of seating areas and great night time ambience with lightening. Parking is free in structure with validation, bring your parking ticket. Food was delicious. Got the pulled pork burger protein style and bacon cheeseburger.
Really cool spot to grab a drink at! The Orange Wheat on draft is so good and refreshing. Nice outdoor patio area to sit at. Food was very good as well. Would recommend the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Very delicious! Location is hidden a little bit but makes it a nice, chill spot overall.
Great eating place with good flavors and quality. I highly suggest getting something meaty, because the stuff everyone else was eating around me smelled super good. But they have good fish tacos and take a look at the sweet pizza they put out. Their pricing wasn't too bad either. Great place to hang out and get some great food.
So to find this place was rough. I did a few loops and was getting frustrated. No signs by the road. That would’ve helped. Once I got here it’s a neat place. Parking is free, they validate it. Great atmosphere, it’s the typical order at the counter and they bring it out. Lots of different beers on tap and the food was great! Airplane theme throughout. Also weird side note. The bathrooms are very different. Separate stalls that are multi gender and then you share a sink. There’s also one sink off to the side if you don’t want to stand next to someone. All mirrored doors and I feel like it would be hard to figure out if you were drunk!
Enjoyed watching different bands play here. Fun to have the whole family together. Food was great. A little $$$ but understandable
Came here because my buddy was playing a gig here, so I came to show some support. Got a burger and my girl got the tacos. It took about 30ish minutes to get the food because it was busy and they seemed a bit understaffed, but when it came out, it was definitely worth the wait. The fries were excellent and the burger was very good. It could have done with just a little less seasoning, as it made it a tad bit salty. The shrimp tacos were awesome too, and the plating was so good that it felt like a crime to eat it. It was pretty busy, and since everyone was eating and drinking, most people weren't wearing masks, so just be warned. I ordered the Orange Guava beer and it was really good! The service was excellent and I would definitely recommend this place to my friends if they're ever in the area and want some good food and beer. This place also validates parking, so it's free! Just have to ask the bartender. Many of the tables have heated lamps which are great for combating the chilly air, but it might be a challenge to find a free table with one because they go pretty quick. Overall, a great experience.
Unexpected brewery in middle of office buildings. Really nice outdoor space when cool weather but indoor is also nice and cool with patio seating also. Beer selection is a nice variety with some sours to go along with beers. Bar food was good and salads and veggie options was nice. Will mark to return when in area or to have friends also go visit
Delicious beer flight: Iconic, Betty, Aventura, Cara Cara Orange IPA. I favorite is Iconic IPA with local honey LIVE MUSIC even though Tuesday Swing dance is cancelled due to unexpected rain forecast so call Hangar first if you are out for dancing since website or social media won’t be updated accordingly for last minute weather condition.
I have traveled multiple states in the past month stopping in various different restaurants. Hanger 24 has now hit one of my top favorite spots. I will definitely pass through here again.
I came here for a concert in the Park area (Attention Fest hosted by Wiretap Records), and I had the corn dogs which were absolutely awesome. The jalapenos are a genius addition, and the breading was tasty. The beers at the restaurant were also delicious. I had several of them over the course of the day, and didn't dislike any of them.
First timer and definitely coming back. Great experience from start to finish. Staff were super friendly and helped us with the menu and 🍺 selection. Food was delicious and there was plenty of seating outside to enjoy the music. Great for family and very kid friendly. Nicely done.
This place had great beer they make and wonderful drinks. The food was absolutely one of a kind so good. It's hard to find a place to please everyone's taste buds and this did just that.
Great place for families with babies to hang out. Food is also great, the crunchy taco salad is must try!
Hangar 24 in Irvine is such a cool, laid-back spot to hang out. The outdoor patio is massive and loaded with fun stuff: volleyball courts, basketball hoops, lawn games, and even a bar made from a repurposed shipping container!! We happened to visit on a 90s cover band night and it was such a good time! The food didn’t disappoint either. We tried the poke bowl, carne asada fries, wings, and BBQ chicken pizza. Everything was fresh and packed with flavor. We paired that with their house-brewed beer and seltzers… yum! Overall, it’s one of those places where great food, drinks, and a fun atmosphere come together perfectly :) Definitely planning to go back soon with friends!!

I think this a great place to hang out, especially if you have a group of young kids. Saying there is plenty of open spaces is an understatement. The food was delicious and was of high quality. It took a while for the food to come out because of the high volume of patrons, but the cashier set proper expectations with the wait time. Overall it's a great outdoor concept and our group of friends and kids had a blast.

Nice brewery strangely located in a business area. I came here on a Saturday evening and there was a Red Hot Chilli Peppers cover band playing nearby. Parking was easy to validate at the register and the service was fairly quick. You order at the counter and pick up the food outside at the tent. My Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich came out in a reasonable about of time and it was hotter than I expected. The fries were perfect and well seasoned. I didn't try the beer here but I'd come back again to try something other than the can of hard kombucha I bought.
Nashville hot chicken sandwich was good ! My wife also enjoyed her mushroom burger. Fun for the whole family. Yard games and live music
Parking: You can park in either of the two lots when entering from Von Karman Ave or in the covered multilevel structure to the right when entering from Gillette Ave. If the parking gate arm is up you simply drive through without taking a ticket (you can’t get a ticket anyways if the gate arm is up because the ticket machine is inoperable when the arm is up). If the parking gate arm is down you’ll obviously be blocked from driving through and you’ll need to take a ticket and get it validated inside the bar for free parking. It should be obvious but I know people who don’t understand this. You don’t have to buy food or drink get it validated. Just give your ticket to the bartender and they’ll validate it for you. Food & Drinks: I haven’t personally tried food or drinks here, but others say the food and drinks are decent, though pricey. Expect long lines on weekends. You can’t order food online days in advance, only hours. Atmosphere: Busy on weekends, making seating scarce. A good spot for singles. Lots of kids though. It’s definitely kid friendly which can be a bad or good thing.
This is a such a fun outdoor spot! I went for trivia on a Thursday night and had a blast. Seating can be kind of limited, so go early and be flexible. The food and drink was pretty good though. Nothing that was incredible, but nothing bad.
The place is very nice, lots of table and chairs. The food is ok and the price is a bit high, Philly steak sandwich with fries costs $19.00. Parking: need to go thru the gate and get the ticket, which you can validate at Hangar24 so you don’t need to pay.(it’s right next to cashiers and you do it yourself). It’s a bar where you order at the cashier, they give you a number, you choose where to seat N they will bring the food to you. It’s a great place to hang out with friends.
So this place has some good eats, but certainly higher priced and not sure it was totally worth the high price. Better burger than lots of places for sure, but it wasn't the best I've ever had. Maybe just more attention to the details... like the onion ring on the bbq burger I got was fairly soft and would have been great if it was crispier. Tomato and lettuce got too warm and soft. Fries were pretty crispy and tasty and they have quite a few cool things on the menu. Flatbread pizzas, salads, sandwiches,... all looked better than just common. Be prepared to eat here and get parking voucher, otherwise parking is super high. Either hang out on the grass where music might played live depending on the night, or sit inside or out for a relaxed place to hang with friends. Would recommend it, but be prepared for higher prices.
What a strange Hidden Gem. I would have never thought that there would be a bar much less an outdoor bar in the middle of a business park complex. I did attend this for a work function but the place was open, clean and in general a good venue. I only had a few munchies so I can't really comment on the food quality but this rating as it relates to being a bar and especially in a professional work setting is a thumbs up.

Very Busy Live Music Outdoors in a Courtyard Venue. Food is good—lines to order are long and receiving your food is very long after you place your order (they should make you aware at the time)! 45 mins! Band was very good and fun. Great time dancing. Kid Friendly—lots of kids running everywhere! Being a lawn chair or blanket to sit on the ground. There’s a few picnic tables that can be reserved (price?). There’s also a patio as well as small indoor dining. Plenty of parking (get validated)!
Nice place for all ages - space, food, drinks. But there will be kids present, so if you don't like kids, this is not the place for you. Great for parents with younger kids who need a break. Good beer selection, good food variety. Clean area.

Great place to bring your kids to tire them out, but sadly the food and service is pretty poor; and the prices are way too high for what you’re getting. Don’t order the ($16) pickle fries. They look like they have been sitting in the bottom of the fryer for the past 6 months. Pretty sad. Bar tenders are are not very friendly, either: the food ordering system kind of sucks, especially when it’s busy (which it often is).
If you live in Irvine and you fancy yourself a craft beer aficionado, there are only two craft brewery options within the city to choose from - Hangar 24 and Left Coast. Both breweries have a decent beer selection, but IMO the beers are drinkable at both but average at best. The food at Hangar 24 isn’t that memorable either. I recently tried their All-American Smash Burger and it was disappointing. On a positive note, Hangar 24 is great for families because they have a lot of open space outdoors for the kiddos to run around. There’s a good amount of parking too and they validate. Hangar 24 also hosts a number of events like trivia, live music, dance nights, etc., and they’re on point with their aviation theme. PRO TIP: Hangar 24 revamps their rewards program every once and again, but their current loyalty rewards program offers customers the opportunity to earn 1 point for every $1 spent and unlock $1 off every 20 points!
Expected too much….the fries were too salty, bbq flatbread was ok but the other peperoni flatbread was too salty as well. The live music was terrible. Not worth coming back.
Met up with a few friends to enjoy a nice evening together. Thought the food was pretty good, but pretty expensive for what it is. The scenery and the atmosphere is what you're really there for, however this is a food review (= Tried their Spicy Southwest burger. Can't tell if I can really handle my heat or this burger just wasn't spicy at all. It's made up of a Chipotle bun, ghost pepper cheese, sauteed jalapenos, grilled onion, lettuce, tomatoes, and chipotle aioli sauce. A lot of flavor there 100% but in terms of spiciness I thought it was on the extremely mild side. Frieda would good too, well seasoned and crunchy. Obviously you don't come here for the food, but if you really got to eat, the food is pretty satisfying.

Both kids didn’t love their dishes. One ordered a cheese sandwich. Cheese seemed to have a Kraft cheese square like texture, if not Kraft cheese. Chicken strips we just sad looking and according to my kid and husband just no flavor. Husband got the French dip and tator tots. The texture of it wasn’t great and cheese seemed fake or cheap. I ordered the tacos; thought the meat could be more tender flavor was good but nothing that would make me come back. Staff was nice enough. The beer was good and what originally brought us there because can’t really find it in to many locations. The food however I wouldn’t order again because even if it wasn’t horrible both great and not worth the $$$$

I feel like mediocre would be a significant step up for this place’s food and beer offerings. $19 Burger was comically small compared to the large bun it was served on. Their $13 20 oz. beer was somehow even more of a letdown than the burger. Their beer tastes like your local craft brewery from 15 years ago. Service staff weren’t jerks, but far from warm and friendly. The whole place just seemed like a money grab. Should’ve read the reviews first. Pros: nice kid friendly shared outdoor space (which I don’t know if Hangar 24 or the office complex deserves the credit for) and they serve those crunchy fries with the crispy layer somehow manufactured onto them. Won’t be back.
I wish I would have read all the reviews about this place being so kid-friendly before I went. It was basically a day care on Friday night at 6:30pm. The truffle fries were good but if you want to drink beer without kids screaming and running within inches of your chair, go somewhere else.
There are so many kids here. And the parents don’t watch them. So the kids are running into you and knocking over drinks. This place would be so cool if the parents were more responsible for their kids.
Wow … I bet this place was good before Covid. Seriously- I bet it was a fun, cool place. Went on a Friday at lunch time. Only 3 people working and they were all trying so hard. :( Kinda made me sad as it’s hard to get upset when they are trying so hard , but it’s just not working. I’d come again if they had staff.- as in more than 3 people trying to help 75+ people!Just don’t want to spend $50 on lunch that is burned and took forever. Sad when we feel guilty for coming to eat and the poor employees are on a sinking ship and it’s just an all around depressing situation. Whoever owns this, help your staff! You have a great location, good menu and they need help! Edit - went back 5/23/2023.. you still order at a cash register when you walk in. Took 45 minutes to get food and wasn’t busy..Food was mediocre at best. Again this could be a cool place but same old story- food is burned and take forever and there’s no staff- maybe 3 people serving a hundred. Don’t waste your time.

A one star rating is too good for this horrific attempt at restaurant service. You stand in a line that is only large because they intentionally under staffed. The model is low employee overhead. We waited in line for 20 minutes to get a beer and order food. We had to do that twice as they have zero table service. When the food arrived we were told to get our own utensils, napkins and PLASTIC plates. The food was average at best. When it was time to leave we were told to get in the now 30 minute line to pay. “Thanks for your patronage, now get in our 30-minute line and pay our high prices. If you leave without paying I’m going to charge you a 18% fee for the horrible service we provided.” THIS PLACE SUCKS!!
Im all for having a place for families but letting kids run all over the place at the live music stage is crazy. There were children throwing footballs in front of the stage and littles running up and grabbing wires. Maybe an aged time out?
We waited over an hour for our food with no warning about the long wait when ordering. The chicken teriyaki bowl was especially disappointing—bland and unappetizing. The burger was decent, but nothing special. On the plus side, the outdoor seating area was nice, and there was a live band, which added to the atmosphere. I’d recommend this place if you’re just looking to grab some beers and fries, but not for a full meal. Visited for lunch on a Sunday.
Absolutely unacceptable experience. The staff were incredibly rude, aggressive, and even made racist remarks. They took away our drinks without reason and ganged up on me, yelling and calling me names. Another customer yelled at my husband first—when I responded, the staff escalated the situation instead of calming it down. They were threatening and completely unprofessional. Be careful—this place treats customers with zero respect. Stay away. Awful
Order a drink using the table QR code. Waited over an hour to get it. No communication from staff, really just a bad experience. Area is nice. Good seating, lots of shade. Space for kids

LATE, COLD & BURNED FOOD! A ridiculous wait... 47-minute past the quoted time to receive cold & burned food for my family! :-( I went up to the pop-up tent where food orders were waiting (all cold because they didn't set-up any heat lamps!) to be told by multiple staff members our food would only be 5 more minutes. I'd come back... new person, but the same unrealistic assurance. FYI - ours wasn't just lost order, there was a huge line of other guests also complaining about the same problem. When the food arrived and was burned and cold (and with NO silverware), I called the manager and told him that this was unacceptable. Reply: "Yah, I talked to you already? Sorry, I guess"... WOW, that's it!?! No remake? No solutions? And no dinner for my family! Super disappointed. I'm calling my credit card company to cancel payment. Suggest you do the same. Avoid this place! And if the owners are reading this, you need a new manager who finds solutions.
I get it, you are "family friendly". This felt more like a day care that serves alcohol. Drunk parents and unattended children. Wanted to enjoy a few drinks and some live music. Instead I spent my time making sure my drink didn't get spilled by feral children running all over the grounds, tables, and benches and screaming louder than the band. If you want a chill vibe, avoid at all costs.
