I recently dined at Grimaldi's Pizzeria in Irving, and it was an outstanding experience! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or family. I decided to try the classic margarita pizza, and it did not disappoint! The crust was perfectly charred and had that delightful thin, crispy texture that I love. The fresh mozzarella was rich and creamy, complementing the vibrant, flavorful tomato sauce beautifully. Each bite was a delicious reminder of what great pizza should taste like. The service was excellent—our server was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, Grimaldi's Pizzeria exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return to try more of their menu. If you're a pizza lover in the area, this place is a must-visit!

New to town and craving Pizza so we gave it a shot. Wasn't busy at all but we did go pretty late. Sat right down and waited on right away. We ordered a couple of 16in pies, one was The Don, the other custom. We also had a The Don calzone. All prepared perfectly. Crust was crisp, tasty with a bit of a chew. We will definitely be back.

A must try for pizza!! We snuck out of a concert next door at the Toyota Music Factory to beat the crowd after the show so we could score some pizza. We didn’t know we would absolutely love this pizza. We were quickly greeted at the door to a quiet restaurant and bar on a Friday night. It seemed low key and had a great NY pizzeria feel to it. Service was good start to finish and it was great to see the manager up front and present as well as assisting his staff. We ordered a bruschetta appetizer (we tried 1 of every kind) as well as a margherita pizza with pepperoni, along with some ranch dressing. Bruschetta was wonderful: Tomato basil was very fresh with great flavor Artichoke was delicious and very impressed with the light but delicious flavor this one had. The red pepper and ricotta was def my favorite and the roasted red peppers were everything! Now - for the best part - the pizza!!! First, I want to recognize the man who worked his butt off the ENTIRE duration of our visit. This man was on fire!! He pumped our pizza after pizza like a machine. Carefully crafting each pizza and he was killing it! I sat there most of the time mesmerized by him. Victor - you alone made this the best part of my visit! Thank you. The pizza was every bit of NY brick oven pizza. Hot and bubbly, crispy and slightly burned crust. Perfect amount of sauce. It was divine!!! My husband still raves this was the highlight of that weekend (not the concert we saw haha). I was even more happy with the best serving of ranch! THIS is the side of ranch I want with my pizza!!! We are excited to have a weekend to take our kiddos next go round. Love, love, love this place and look forward to seeing Victor again.

This place always lives up to it's reputation. Pizza is cooked consistently perfect(in my opinion). My order consists of a small Mediterranean salad and the small pizza. perfect amount of food for two people depending on your appetite. Abel was our server on this visit. Even though he was assigned multiple sections, he made sure we were always topped off and had what we needed. He also interacted with us as opposed to just serving us which, in my book, helps to earn the tip. If you enjoy pizza, give this place a try and ask for Abel. He was there on Monday evening. Enjoy

Food was top notch as usual, however my waitress charged me an extra $8 to substitute veggies on my pizza. Which may or may not have been correct protocol, either way that's terrible customer service to charge extra to sub veggies on a pizza. My server also told me when I was ordering "there may be an upcharge" but did not tell me how much the upcharge would be or if there was one for sure. I found out I was charged $6 to sub one veggie and $2 to sub another veggie when I paid my bill. I also had to ask for the receipt because my server knew she snuck the charges in without my consent. Food was awesome pizza and the salad.

Pizza was great. Apple walnut salad was lacking flavor. My main issue was with the handling of the check. Is it typical protocol for servers to have customers review the check and present the handheld device down on the table while they watch you pay and tip? I had a really disappointing experience with this pizza place. Our order took about two hours to arrive, which is far longer than you’d expect for a pizza delivery. After waiting a long time with no updates, I finally called to check on the order. That’s when I was told the pizza had actually been sitting there waiting for someone to pick it up. Apparently they use an outside delivery service instead of their own drivers, and no one had come to get the order. That was frustrating to hear because it means the food was just sitting there getting cold while we were waiting. If a restaurant is going to rely on a third-party delivery service, there should still be some accountability and communication with the customer when there’s a problem. By the time the pizza finally arrived, it obviously wasn’t fresh anymore. Mistakes happen, but leaving food sitting there without notifying the customer is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I’d be hesitant to order delivery from here again.

Pizza’s good when you can actually get it, but every single day from 3–4 pm they shut down the oven completely to clean it. No pizza at all just salads and a couple cold apps for a full hour, right in the middle of the afternoon/evening rush. I have never, in decades of eating pizza all over the country, seen another pizzeria that can’t figure out how to clean an oven without stopping pizza production for 60 minutes every day. How do they stay in business throwing away that much prime-time revenue? A full paid break for the staff to be on their phones. It’s absurd in 2025. If I wanted a salad at 3:30 pm I wouldn’t have come to a pizza restaurant.

NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN! The manager is an absolute prick! We ordered a pizza last night around 7:45pm to catch a show next door and asked if it was alright to eat there just trying to save time. The manager on duty came out and made a huge scene in front of everyone and was very angry with a huge attitude telling us off like we did something wrong in front of everyone. Many customers in the restaurant were shocked at his response to such a simple question and some started to leave including myself. This was my first time coming to this place as I live down the street. We just left and ate our pizza outside. Luckily we dressed warm cause it was very cold outside. Absolutely uncalled for and the pizza was extremely bland no flavor on top of this.. I highly recommend the Cork & Pig pizza if you like good pizza! They have the best pizza around and they are cheaper plus they also make you feel at home when you are there. As an employer myself, I suggest you find better management with a better attitude. I spend $40 for one silly pizza and yes that did include a tip to the bar tender even though I did not get to stay. I spent good money there and you treat me like I’m not welcome…

Worst Customer Service I’ve Had in Years I’ve ordered 100+ pizzas from Grimaldi’s Las Colinas — always for delivery through grubhub. This was my first time dining in with my wife, mom, and toddler. It was a disaster from start to finish. We ordered two pizzas: • BBQ Chicken • Quattro Formaggi (four cheese) with prosciutto Instead, three pizzas showed up: the BBQ Chicken (correct), a white pizza with arugula and prosciutto (completely wrong), and eventually the four cheese — missing prosciutto. The manager came over and said, “I don’t know how all three pizzas will fit.” That’s when I told him we only ordered two. He took one back, then returned with the white pizza and prosciutto — arugula scraped off, a few pieces still clinging to the cheese — and claimed it was “the same as” the four-cheese pizza. It’s not. That lie stuck with me, so I had the waiter bring him back. I calmly explained again that it’s not the same pizza. He stood there stunned, then tried to justify it by saying he was only charging us for two pizzas — including the one we didn’t want. Instead of simply apologizing and doing the obvious (comp the error), he got defensive and started arguing. I said, “Just do the right thing” His response? “Will do, buddy.” — completely condescending. Later, the server came back visibly annoyed, dropped boxes on the table, and rushed us out. When I asked to speak with the manager again, she refused, raised her voice, accused us of trying to get free food, and caused a scene. I said nothing and calmly asked again. Eventually, the manager returned like nothing had happened. I told him I still wanted dessert — which I’d mentioned earlier — and he brought it. Still no apology. We paid (no itemized receipt), were never thanked or apologized to, and were treated like a nuisance the entire time. No accountability. No professionalism. No decency. Delivery only from now on — and even that’s questionable.
