We stayed at the Westin for Texas Frightmare and spent several hours a day and every meal at Mesa Mezcal. The food, drinks and atmosphere were great- but it was the staff that made it magic! The bartenders were all great, but the employee who charmed us all was Greatful! She took amazing care of us and was so incredibly kind! We’ll definitely be back next year- we hope to see her again!
The drag brunch on Sundays is fantastic and a wonderful way to raise funds for a good cause. Jordan and Ashlynn were extremely attentive waiters and bartenders, checking on us frequently and providing whatever we needed to make the morning even better. Can’t wait for the next one - keep up the wonderful work!
We wandered here from our hotel on a work trip and had a BLAST! We had a huge party with a bunch of rowdy people and Nicole took care of us! The entire team was amazing and made sure we had a great time. I highly recommend coming here for some great food, drink and people. Make sure you grab a pic by the sombrero!! We are definitely coming back.
Soooo i went on a drag bruch sunday 🙃 😊 10 dollar cover , two alcoholic drinks plus buffet for 2 people , tip , performers tips and tip valet parking add to about $200 but we had a great time and the buffet breakfast and lunch did not disappoint oh and desserts 👌 highly recommend! I believe the next show is in april dont forget your cash money 😉 for the preformers !
From the moment you step into Mesa Mezcal, located in the luxurious Westin hotel in Las Colinas, Texas, you are transported into a world of authentic Mexican cuisine and culture. This restaurant is a true gem, offering an unforgettable dining experience that is as vibrant and rich as the country it represents. The ambiance at Mesa Mezcal is nothing short of spectacular. The decor is a tasteful blend of traditional Mexican elements and contemporary design, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant is spacious, yet intimate, making it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The menu at Mesa Mezcal is a culinary journey through Mexico. Each dish is a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that are both bold and nuanced. The chefs have done an exceptional job of balancing traditional Mexican recipes with innovative culinary techniques. The result is a menu that is familiar yet exciting, with dishes that cater to a wide range of palates. The standout for me was the Mezcal Marinated Steak, a dish that was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The accompanying sides were equally impressive, complementing the steak beautifully. The Guacamole prepared tableside was a delightful spectacle and tasted as good as it looked. The Tacos Al Pastor, with their succulent pork and tangy pineapple, were a revelation. The bar at Mesa Mezcal deserves a special mention. The selection of Mezcals and Tequilas is extensive, and the cocktails are expertly crafted. The signature Mezcal Margarita is a must-try, with its smoky undertones and refreshing citrus notes. The service at Mesa Mezcal is top-notch. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience. They are more than happy to guide you through the menu and make recommendations based on your preferences. Mesa Mezcal is a shining star in the Westin hotel's culinary offerings. It is a place where the food, ambiance, and service come together to create a dining experience that is truly memorable. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Las Colinas, Texas, a meal at Mesa Mezcal is an absolute must.
While staying at The Westin Convention Center Hotel, we opted to try in-house restaurant Mesa Mezcal. Open seating, indoor and outdoor seating available. Large dining area, decor was comfortable and nice. Started with their chicken mole nachos, which comes small or large. Flavorful and plentiful. Then we shared the street tacos for 6. It comes family style to fix your own with black beans, elotes, rice, and fixings of onion, cilantro, jalapeños and Pico. Very good.
This is my go to happy hour spot in the Toyota music factory area. They have a great happy hour menu with food and drinks. The bartenders are always really nice - Alan is our go to! Their margaritas are good, wings, and steak quesadilla was phenomenal. On Mondays, they hosted mah-jongg Mondays that have guided lessons or open.
Peggy and Allen were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The food and drinking were amazing. The service was a 10/10 thank you!
Nicole was so attentive, fun, kind and a great asset to your organization. I appreciate the great service, amazing food and atmosphere! Nicole you have a warm smile and welcoming personality!
I recommend their appetizers and if you have time stop by the bar! Met the bartender Ozzie and they definitely delivered great customer service
Kenneth was the best! Drinks and nachos were perfect. Very hospitable place and great for larger groups.
Excellent service and food. And the atmosphere was welcoming. Very busy evening but I was treated so professionally. Thank you Peggy, Mike, and Jesus.
When we are in the Irving area we love coming to Mesa Mezcal. The tacos are AMAZING!!! We also love the Turkey BLT and is great for lunch. They have warm churros for dessert which are so good. Highly recommend stopping at Mesa Mezcal next time you are in Irving.
The breakfast here is delightful. All you can eat Buffett with fresh options and brisket tacos that were delicious. They bring you a thermos of coffee so you aren’t constantly asking for more and they automatically bring milk for my coffee which was wonderful.
Had a large dinner party and our server Nicole was INCREDIBLE. She was warm, helpful, fast and knowledgeable. Will definitely return all thanks to her and the phenomenal food and atmosphere.
Both times I have been here, I was treated with warm welcomes and excellent service from Nicole!! We received our food right away and it was really good!! Thank you again guys!! Update; I went back and got to meet the new manager Camille! She was very nice and so was Nicole as always! Thank you
Pleasantly surprised both at food quality and price. Stopped in for a Valentines special dinner and found the food, dessert and $20 bottle of wine to be superior to many far more expensive places I've been.
Service was amazing. Food was pretty good and at a reasonable price. Staff was all incredibly friendly and great at making suggestions as well. We have been here three times during our stay. I do recommend
Ken and Ozzie do an awesome job slinging drinks behind the bar. I travel from out of town most weeks and have dinner or just grab drinks at the bar most week nights and have always had a good experience.
Maxwell and Ozzie were amazing. The hotel was hosting a large event, which I can imagine was stressful. Yet, bartenders extraordinaire, Maxwell and Ozzie handled it all with aplomb. Their service was fantastic, fun, and an all around great experience.
Great food, yummy drinks. I didn't realize it was located INSIDE the Westin Hotel. Parking was a bit to figure out-you can park in the adjacent parking garage for free, a little bit to walk to the restaurant but totally worth it! We will certainly be back again.
We love Mesa Mezcal at Westin Hotel. First class service and drinks. Manager Blair is awesome and Nicole our server and bartender Ashlynn are amazing. Everyone made us feel right at home, drinks were great and we will we back soon!
I had an amazing dinner, with the BEST service from Nicole & Jordan. Honestly; they are the reason I will return. The food is good but the service is BEST in class!!! Thank you guys so much for making my day and I look forward to seeing you again soon!!
I had the BEST experience at Mesa Mezcal! Nicole and Ashlynn provide amazing service on a Friday night after a tough day. The service we received completely changed the day. Such a breath of fresh air to have people who truly care and go the extra mile!
Small portions, high prices. Good profile flavor and presentation. Location is great. Cleanliness and service: outstanding. Not my first choice of Mexican food but definitely I will be back.
Ashlynn and Nicole was very Amazing! They treated us very nice for first time customers and I live in the area so to have them greet me in such a manner was nice! I love them so much, they are very respectable and just good overall customer service! I will be back! Love them.
So the food was fantastic. Drinks were great as well. I got the wings and they were top 3 wings for sure. The service was lacking. The bartender didn’t seem familiar with the menu at all. She couldn’t recommend me anything. So I went based off of the person sitting next to me. May have been an off day for her but even when I came in I wasn’t greeted so I walked to the bar to order. If they get the service piece situated they will be a go to spot for me. Delicious food!
What a great find. Wonderful service. Wonderful people. Great drinks. This was our go-to spot for our visit and I’m happy to have found it. Just ask for Grateful (she’s an absolute delight), she’ll take care of you. 10/10 no notes.
This restaurant has the most incredible staff. Grateful is a very personable and inviting hostess, Carmen is lovely and super helpful, and Ozzie is extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Everybody on the Mesa Mezcal team is absolutely wonderful! Also, the food is great. The wings are my favorite.
We came here for Drag Brunch. Everything was well organized and set up nicely. It was easy to make a reservation via OpenTable. Our server, Christina was attentive and friendly. Even though it was a busy brunch due to the drag show, she was always smiling and accommodating. I enjoyed my Mole Nachos at Brunch and we ordered bottles of mimosa. Delicious. I would definitely return. Excellent in all aspects.
My wife and I stopped here for dinner while in the area. We both enjoyed it very much. The food was excellent - I had nachos and my wife had tacos. We both enjoyed our dished quite a bit. Our server was very friendly, helpful and attentive without being too intrusive. Overall it was a great experience and highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
We first came here in January, and were pleased to meet Nicole at Mesa Mezcal on the first night of our stay. She was so upbeat and friendly and made our first night in Dallas memorable and fun. We just got back into town today and it was so awesome to see her again tonight when our group met up for dinner. She had the same great energy as before and even remembered us! Nicole and the whole team provided excellent service to our table and we had such a great time. The food is amazing and Nicole and the staff are a pleasure. We will definitely come here every time we come to Dallas!
First time at Drag Brunch today, and lemme tell you… SO FUN! Service was great, thanks to Nicole! Drinks were amazing and food was good too. The atmosphere was on point for a nice fun and upbeat brunch. Can’t wait to be back! Ask for Nicole. She was a peach! Can’t recommend this spot enough!
The Drag Brunches are so much fun! Great service, wide selection of buffet style food and a super fun show. Bingo night was a blast with small tasty plates (the empanadas were so yummy), themed cocktails made to perfection. Looking forward to dining here again.
After a previous poor experience, this was the best service I have had in the area. We traveled on business and this was a nice play to enjoy a meal and drinks. I really enjoyed the experience. Nicole is the brightest ray of sunshine. She was amazing, changed the expectation going forward. This is a must stop for anybody in the area. Staff was very accommodating. Please try them, with your next trip.
My wife and I live in Las Colinas and love Mexican food. We have tried many of the local favorites and decided to give Mesa Mezcal a try. It was wonderful! Decor was bright and airy. Service was wonderful. The menu selection was varied and unique. Food was well prepared, tasteful and rich with flavors. We ate with another couple that are our foodie friends and they thought the same thing. Don’t pass up this gem of a restaurant.
Phenomenal experience with a huge group. Nicole took GREAT care of us. Was kind, funny and attentive. Truly enjoyed the experience and if I was a local I’d definitely come back. Food was good, cocktails tasty and it was an overall memorable night.
Please go to this veryyy nice looking restaurant. It's apart of the hotel the decor and atmosphere is inviting.. My best friend and I went here for our monthly meet up. I chose this place for thos month and man oh man I'm glad I did.. The hostess was very nice. Our waitress Nicole is like no other 🔥 So accomandating and attentive to our table and ALL the others she had.. She was easy to talk to in ref to menu items. She made sure we were knowledgeable about the happy hour items etc and gave recommendations. She made sure that we were happy with our experience there on our girls night and it was. 💓 The drinks were strong and we loved it!! We had pear and mango margaritas. Yum❗❗ My nachos were delicious. My friend had the tacos and it was a lot of food.. When I tell you I'm glad we decided to go here. We will be back in a flash. Oh and Nicole the waitress works on the weekend fri-Sun and maybe 1 day during the week.. This is a review that I couldn't wait to write. This place was amazing and Nicole was such a great representative for this restaurant. Thanks again Nicole your the best!
Michael the manager & Nicole were so awesome!! When I came to view the place they were busy but took the time to show me around, as I needed space for 15-20...nice & friendly they were! So I reserved the space. My day was extra special! A really great guitar player performed who gave me a free cd. The patio spot for me and my guests were perfect! And the menue..We all had a really fun time and will definitely be back! 😍
We had a tremendous time at dinner. The service was outstanding. The food was amazing. A bit pricey but they made up for it with the quality of the service provided. Highly recommend.
Came for trivia night on Thursdays, had such a blast. Right around happy hour too. Great drinks and food, and even better service. You’ll have so much fun with Nicole as your server!! :)
We travel to Irving every year for a work event and we are always excited to see Ozzie! He is an excellent employee and always has a smile! It’s rare to find an employee loyal to a job year after year. Thanks Ozzie for always making our trip to the Westin memorable! We look forward to being back to see you next year!
Buen lugar para comer o cenar, la comida está bien, el servicio e excelente
I hosted a corporate dinner in the private dining room and had an excellent experience! Everyone from Taylor (event coordinator) to the on site staff (Ramiro, Brian, and Ernesto) were wonderful through the whole process and experience. Would recommend to anyone looking to host a large group for dinner or lunch.
Was stuck in Dallas Texas due to flight cancellations stayed at the hotel and had dinner at mesa Mezcal the service was great and the food was amazing our server Brian was more then attractive to our table great attitude and made my margaritas really good
I hosted an event at Mesa Mezcal and could not have chosen a better venue and group of people to work with! The manager and staff were phenomenal in accommodating our group and providing us top-notch attention throughout the event. The food, atmosphere, and location were perfect!
Located in lobby of the Westin hotel, it is super spacious, so much that is detrimental to the atmosphere, not cozy or inviting. The dinner menu is somewhat strange, a wrap? a BLT? The only two entrees that really looked good were the salmon and the short ribs, so we went with those and they were really good. Couldn't find too much of the pasilla profile on the salmon but still good. If they had a better dinner menu, we would definitely return, but for a wrap or sandwich, I'd probably make dinner myself :). Churros were good too.
Been meaning to try this place for awhile. It's kind of tucked away from everything else, so it can be easy to overlook. They have a happy hour, where I got the house margarita for $6. There cocktail menu looks like they have some interesting choices, so I need to come back and try some of them. The outside patio area is really nice. I love all of the couches
Incredible service! My husband and I came for our anniversary, and I have never been received so well at a restaurant! When I arrived and said the name on my reservation, she immediately knew who I was and what we were there to celebrate, they even had a bottle of champagne on ice for us! Our waiter was great, the hostess was great, the experience was just GREAT! I feel like I haven’t had service like this since before Covid and it is such a relief. Thank you for making our night special instead of just a regular dinner like any other night! PS I had the chili and it was super yummy with large chunks of steak in it 🤤
I have no idea why the ratings are so bad. My food was excellent. The service (Shout out to Maria) was soo amazing! The food is great. I had the salmon and it was delicious. They also have happy hour on Saturday!I was with a party of 8 and everything came out amazing. No one at my table was disappointed.
Only high end Mexican restaurants will compete to the authenticity, quality, flavors, and reasonably healthiness ( less fatty than your average Mexican place) I just had the best pozole I have had in 5+ years. Heck even many Mexican restaurants located in Mexico won't match the quality of their pozole or their churros. thanks to the cook / chef that puts so much effort on quality food! seriously! Sadly, they get to lose a star due to slowness of their service. We went on 2/16 for Sunday brunch. even thought they seemed to have plenty of servers (4+) for maybe 10-12 tables, they still were extremely slow. That said, if you plan ahead of time you won't regret coming over! The friendly manager who gave us a complimentary fruit plate!! . The servers are very friendly, they'll try to accommodate any custom / out of menu requests. lastly I'm a sweet potato fries kind of guy. and they will have pretty good sweet potatoe fries here. next time I'll make sure to personally thank the chef and cook because their food is fantastic!!!!
I understand you are attached to a hotel. I also love giving and charitable contributions. However, this is texas and chips and salsa are included! If you want to donate to charity include it in my final bill, but please don't set yourselves up to be so money hungry. The food is good all of our main courses were well prepared and tasty. I would only recommend this place if you have an expense account and can't go somewhere more authentic and your clients don't know how good dallas cuisine can be.
Rico buffet, y excelente servicio
Fairly disappointing. I ordered the Summer Salad and Pozole. The salad had possibly one slice of a canned beet, a few kernals of corn, not roasted. It was bland and I wouldn't order again even if 1/4 of cost. The Pozole was a bit better, but still spiceless. The chips and salsa were great ! Convenient location, but wouldn't go again.
The place is beautifully decorated. Views are great. The food was good, but not GREAT. My favorite thing was off the kids menu, chicken quesadillas. They were very juicy. I ordered tacos al pastor, and the were ok. The chips were good too. Our server knew a little about being gluten free so he was able to guide us a bit.
The food is ok, but not worth the price. If I am going to pay this much, I expect some flavor and presentation. Pretty much just average food with an upcharge.
Overpriced for the quality of food and drinks. Their "large" salad was 3 leaves.
Waitress was super nice and friendly. The stars are for her as the food and drinks took forever. Even though she took my order down right, my drink was messed up, the food added chicken that requested not to have, and my waitress had to get the sour cream the comes where never bringing out. When I go to order pricey for, I expect it to be done right and in a timely manor. They failed. Btw, the waitress didn't have to bring out food, they had others fire that. Also they had her work a double. What is that place doing?
Mesa Mezcal is attached to a hotel, so I wasn’t expecting five-star dining service—but they still managed to fall short. We had a Thursday night reservation, and the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. It took over 10 minutes for our server to take our drink order, and another 20+ minutes for the drinks to arrive. To their credit, the drinks were great, and our server Edgar was very kind and apologetic, explaining the bar was backed up with a large group. The food, however, was another letdown. My salmon was overcooked, and the lava cake dessert was also dry and overcooked. For the price point, I expected better execution. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was friendly, but the slow pace and poorly prepared food made the experience underwhelming. Mesa Mezcal has potential, but it needs work to live up to its price and setting.
I was staying in the hotel and I sat at the bar on a Wednesday night. Decent sized crowd for a Wednesday. My experience was just mediocre. The margaritas on the menu aren't awful but also aren't great. The old fashioned on the menu, however, was good. I had three tacos of Mahi Mahi. The fish was diced into small 1/2 inch cubes and barely filled two taco shells let alone the three that came with the meal. The black beans were the shining star with a lot of flavor and well seasoned. Everything else fell flat. Bartender was attentive and provided great service. If I lived locally I would not come back. But was fine for me given I didn't want to leave the hotel.
Likely some of the slowest service I have ever had in the DFW area. The happy hour menu was very lacking and the drinks were very over-priced. It often took 15 minutes plus to get a draft beer, which should take seconds. Likely will not go back and don't recommend - there are much better options in the area for Mexican food. Toyota Music Factory is within walking distance (2 minutes) and Gloria's has similar food at a much better price point, with wayyyyy better service.
Waited to be seated. Was told that it was a breakfast buffet and was not provided menus. Basic items on the buffet. Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, grits, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy. They did have an omlette station. Waited on coffee and silverware to eat. Came to the end to pay the bill and was shocked to pay $100 for breakfast for 3 adults and a child. Didn't get an itemized bill so never knew how much we paid per person. Definitely won't be coming back.
The mole was tasteless and runny. The salsa was just spicy from jalapenos and the service was SLOW. NOT a good dinner for what you pay.
I went on Mother's Day, and beyond an extremely rowdy table, this place was deader than a morgue. That should have been my first clue. The menu was heavily shaved down from what was shown on the website, I couldn't tell if this was in regards to the holiday or what, but the remaining fare was a smattering of the ol' boring standard offered anywhere. Chips and salsa are not only not complementary, they're $6. Whatever water we were given was all that we got for the night. Tiny cups. Service was nonexistent, check-back was nonexistent, the table in the corner boomed and shrieked, and the bartender who started my order left without ever saying anything. I was seated right next to the bar, with my kid, and the remaining bartender was eventually coaxed away from his attention to the TV with enough meaningful glances to mumble at me asking what I needed. Anything and everything would have been nice, but this isn't something that you say to someone who clearly has better things to do. Like wordlessly haunt the bar. The salsa was probably the best that I've had in a while, the actual restaurant setup/decor is cute, but the remaining menu is hopeless, the staff lifeless, the mixed drink unimpressive, and the food is better left to food trucks, where they don't charge you 2 vital organs to feel like a garage rubber plant that they can't wait to pretend never happened.
The manager from this restaurant should be fired along with servers... We went last night to eat, and we're seated at the patio. No one came to us and acknowledged us. No one offered us any type of service or assistance. We had to walk from the patio to order our drinks and to get the menu. After we returned to the bar and requested a server, we placed our orders. The server came saying one of the orders was no longer part of the menu.. We changed that particular item; our food was served except the last one we modified. 20 minutes passed until we had to complain and asked for that order. They never brought us water or utensils. We asked to speak to the manager who had the audacity to say the area we were; it is for self-service only. We saw the other tables' place orders and be served accordingly. The food is okay, and the service is below expectations. Go to another place to spend your money. They turned off the lights and the music right when we were still eating, and others were still enjoying their drinks.
We were not allowed to sit at the booths, even though all of them were empty. We were required to sit in uncomfortable bar stools. Then, I was required to give my credit card BEFORE we received our food. Now for the food. The Salmon was the saltiest thing I have ever tasted, so salty that it was almost inedible. I was extremely hungry so I suffered through it. 🤮
Horrible experience . The waitress did not care to accommodate. One hour for one Round of drinks for a table of 8. Even received 2 bills for drinks that was not served . Do not recommend. Never will return . Manager was just as helpful as waitress.
Never got to try our food, we were seated and waited 25 mins and never saw our waiter so we left. Staff kept walking by, not very busy, and we weren't in a corner so just ignored. Luckily other places to next door if you're looking to save your self the misfortune of walking in here.
This place is very sad. We ordered the mole nachos not sure where the mole sauce or the chicken was. The taco platter was so bad I had to just send it back. We also ordered the sopes I have never had something that is so simple to make taste so bad and covered with Tajin. The atmosphere of the place was horrible to you would think they would be playing better music to atleast make it a little better.
No one ever came to take our order, we had to call someone over for menus. The only one who gave us prompt service was the lady who filled our glasses with water and honestly the best employee that restaurant has.
Unfortunately I cannot give a -5 as a review. We had a reservation for 9 last night for our kids and their friends. The kids were sitting at the reserved table for an hour but no one came and took their order and they eventually walked out without having their dinner. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would definitely not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant till they fix they treat their customers.
Went to this restaurant while staying at the Westin for a conference. They only offered a “special menu” for the conference which had around 5 food options. We got chicken strips and a quesadilla, and let me tell you it was some of the worst food we’ve had in a long time. The chicken strips tasted like freezer burnt Tyson nuggets, and the tiny Quesadilla looked and tasted like it had been microwaved. Both items were so bad we decided to order delivery from other restaurants for the rest of our stay. We also payed an extraordinary price for this trash food, somewhere in the ballpark of $56.
It took 30 minutes from being seated until any staff approached me. Many items on the menu were unavailable. The hamburger I ordered took 45 minutes to arrive. It came totally dry, with no ketchup, mustard, mayo... just a dry bun. I figured it would take several hours to get ketchup for my fries, so I just ate my dry burger and dry fries. Many others next to me were openly wondering why there was no staff around.
this has got to be the worst service . And not to mention the manager . We had to get up 3 times to ask for drinks , even though the restaurant was empty ! the manager did not authorize to serve kids menu , they just allowed us to order from the regular menu with only 4 entrees available . when we got the check we asked to hace split in 3 , it was a large party of 14 and the manager did not allow it because it would ruin there system . The lamest excuse ever ! they just wanted cash or one card . We asked to talk to him and he wouldn't come out, he had no time , but the restaurant was empty. definitely not going back
Place wasn’t packed, but first they asked about a reservation. Then we were seated for 25 minutes before anyone greeted us except receptionist. 30 minutes for food that came out cold and super spicy regardless of asking for no spice. Worst service for mediocre food that was expensive.
We waited about 25 minutes without anyone ever coming to take our order before we decided to just leave. About 15 minutes in, one waitress came and told us she would let another server know to come take our order but nobody ever came. Very disappointing because the restaurant was not very busy and there were clearly plenty of staff available to take our order.
We tried to enter from the parking garage entrance and it was locked so we headed through the hotel. When being seated we asked for a booth and then sat us far in the corner. Others were seated at the booths and at that point we decided to just get a drink for happy hour and skip the food. We ordered the drinks and they took a very long time. No one was really attentive and the girl at the front was bent over texting. We took a few sips of the drinks and asked for the check. There was no happy hour. We left our full drinks and found somewhere else to eat. The girl at the front was still texting and didn't even see us leave.
We had the breakfast buffet 2 days in a row. I am African American and I noticed the male host catered to the white and non black guests more than he did with us. My daughter had to ask for more orange juice. I watch this man freshen up the coffee and water for the white guy at a table nearby and he also asked another white male did he need more orange juice, all the while my orange juice glass was completely empty. I couldn’t help but to feel racist vibes this morning. Do better. African Americans are spending at these types of hotels and better just like any other cultures.
Mother’s day weekend and we wanted to have a nice dinner ! Food took over 30 mins, we were the only people there, and tasted extremely bland. Our first waitress was rude and did not want to answer any questions regarding meals. Aussie, Liv, and Grateful were very sweet and accommodating. If they aren’t working, good luck! 2/10 experience.
Staying for a week at the Westin and upon check in noticed a sign for Taco Tuesday. Went there tonight and when asking for a table, was asked if we had a reservation. There were maybe 3 tables occupied at the time. I said we did not, was told not a problem and was seated. Waited a few minutes for a server who arrived and we asked about the sign out front for taco tuesday (EVERY Tuesday) Was told that they weren’t serving that as they had a different special tonight. So we asked what the special was, and she came back with a small menu with a few drinks on it. Very unwelcome atmosphere… Might want to remove your sign out front and work on your customer service. Ended up having a really nice dinner elsewhere.
I’m not one to leave bad reviews, however being disrespected and treated the way I was is entirely unacceptable. Maxwell was the reason I didn’t even bother to spend a dollar here. If management had any sense of keeping a reputable restaurant, it amazes me they would even have someone like him working behind their bar. If management wants to provide a way for me to explain this review I will gladly do so. Nothing else needs to be said here.
Ozzie and Liv were the highlight of the experience, our original waitress was extremely rude and talked to us like we were stupid. The food nothing to brag about .The restaurant wasn’t busy and it took over 30 minutes to get our food and one of the orders were wrong. After expressing our dissatisfaction with the rude waitress Ozzie and Liv went out of there way to help us they were great , but if they’re not at work good luck. Overall horrible.
I inquired about reservation for the Galintine Drag Brunch was told they were booked but was promised a call back after they had confirmed the reservation that had already been made because typically people drop out and would be at the top of the call back list. I did never received a call back. I phoned 3 times left messages and have not received a courtesy call back. I'm very disappointed.
I would give this place a golden 0 if i had to. The only stain on a great stay at this hotel. I opted for "Complementary" breakfast during my stay and sat the restaurant at 7:10am. Nobody asked me what I wanted till about 7:30. I ordered a Fruit Bowl and waited. By 7:50 I noticed other guests who arrived at 7:40 were served their food. By 8am all the other guests had finished their breakfast and left while I was like the only guy sitting in the middle of the restaurant STILL waiting on my food. I have never been disrespected like this. Was it because I wasn't dressed as fancy as the rest of the guests Ill never know. I will continue stay at this Westin but never step foot in this restaurant again.
I would give this place a zero star if I could. This place is very racist as well as classist too. I called to book reservations , they said they take walk ins. But when I went there, they said they don’t and told me there is a waiting time of 20 minutes. I waited in the lobby, then went back. This time the lady that was working at the counter told me I have canceled my reservation when I didn’t. Then they agreed to sat me and my girl, at a high table when we wanted to be sat in a regular one. And there were 6 of them available. I don’t want to talk much but the way the serving lady , manager and the waiter treated us, I kind of got the vibe they are racists. Please avoid this place while y’all can!
