The food was delicious! I'm still thinking about the focaccia😩 Try everything; as much as possible! You will not be disappointed. You have the choice to sit inside or outside. We choose outside which is temperature controlled. The service was top tier and we never had to ask for a refill. As a bonus the bathrooms were clean as well.

Italian Cafe was an absolute hit- I had family from New York staying with me and they absolutely agreed. I called ahead to reserve a table for 9 at 5:00pm on a Friday and the host was so accommodating, he swiftly added us in, even though I called only 3 hours ahead. The restaurant has a charming, old school aesthetic with wooden accents throughout and these gorgeous table cloths. There is an outdoor, sealed in patio with TVs to watch sports, which is where we sat. Our server was incredibly attentive and accommodating, we were never without anything we needed. Now: onto the food. It’s amazing. We loved we tried everything we tried. The greek salad was beautiful and full of fresh produce. The tortellini in broth was rich with incredibly tender pasta. The chicken stromboli was crisp and well seasoned, with an acidic tomato sauce to go with. Overall, this was a fantastic spot for a family meal. It’s very close to the University of Dallas and would be a great place to meet up if you go there. I can’t wait to come back in the future.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, and it was such a pleasant experience. For about $60 for two people, we enjoyed a truly satisfying meal. We started with their Focaccia bread, which was incredibly soft, flavorful, and served with a creamy dip that paired perfectly. For our mains, we ordered the Tortellini Pesto Pasta with Chicken and the Rigatoni with Spicy Arrabbiata Sauce. Both dishes were delicious, with generous portions that left us full and happy. The creamy pesto was rich and comforting, while the spicy red sauce had the perfect kick without being overwhelming. We ended our meal with their Chocolate Cake, which was both soft and dense—a sweet finish to a wonderful lunch.

Best Italian experience since I was in Florence (Italy). Someone, I’m assuming the manager or owner, welcomed us in right away and showed us where to get lunch. The authenticity was felt by all the Italian speaking men serving in the kitchen, and big burly Italian behind the bar. The food was hot, quantities large, and the flavors were AMAZING. When I needed to charge my phone the owner quickly grabbed my phone and found an outlet that was safely behind the bar. Would go back and would recommend to anyone wanting a genuine Italian experience!

We were a part of 3 and ordered mozzarella sticks and calamari as appetizers and they were both great. The marina sauce on the side was also very good. For main courses, we ordered the salmon risotto which was a 5/5, the chicken & shrimp franchesse was also a 5/5 and the pizza with arugula would have been a 5/5 if it had a marinara sauce base but I didn't order the one with a tomato base so a 4/5

I’m great Italian/Pizza spot! I just started working in the area and I’ve been here a few times….its been consistently great no matter what I ordered. Stromboli…huge and delicious! Meatball sub…almost TOO much and delicious! Pizza…outstanding NY style some of the best pizza in be had! Looks like they have a full bar and plenty of wine options so dinner here is in my future. Give it a try….you won’t regret it!

Italian Cafe is a casual, cozy location for good drinks and apps. Happy hour was a hit. I would come back just for the burrata flatbread - very flavorful and well cooked. I heard the pizzas are fantastic but we got the eggplant parm and tagliatelle bolognese. As a vegetarian, the eggplant parm was slightly bland but the non-veg bolognese was fantastic. Service was efficient and our server was accommodating to questions and customizations on our meals. We’ll definitely be back to try the pizza!

Their eggplant parmigiana is amazing! It was one of the best I’ve ever had. Their tomato sauce is great. The kids had spaghetti and a slice of cheese pizza which they both loved. The bread that was served was delicious as well. We ended our meal with a cheesecake which was good as well.

We had a nice dinner at Italian Café while staying at the Omni Hotel just down the street. We were a group of six business travelers looking for a relaxed spot to chat and enjoy a good meal—and this place delivered! The appetizers were great—we tried the Italian meatballs, sausage, and garlic bread, and all were flavorful and well-prepared. My wife had a chicken salad that she really enjoyed, and I went with the lasagna, which was tasty. My colleagues ordered a mix of chicken parmesan and seafood dishes, and everyone seemed happy with their meals. The service was friendly, fast, and efficient, and we appreciated how quickly the check came. All in all, it was a good experience in a comfortable setting. Would definitely recommend for both casual dining and business dinners!

The lasagna was extremely salty, to the point where I had to add extra marinara sauce that came with my garlic cheese bread. It wasn't a good first visit, and I doubt I'll ever return. Edit: Respectfully, I've eaten at more restaurants than your average customer. I love that your dishes are recipe-oriented, but believe when I tell you I can differentiate a salty dish from one that is on point. Maybe I'll give y'all a second chance in the following year.

Watery sauce with no flavor… The calamari was ok.. I spent $120 on Uber Eats so I order 4 items. I won’t eat here again.. makes you just wanna cook at home.

I have visited this restaurant four times for the food and atmosphere, but my most recent visit will be my last. We ordered two of the expensive dishes from the menu, and while the food remains good, the service has become cold and, frankly, exclusionary. Our table was consistently ignored—we had to flag down staff for every basic need—while surrounding tables (predominantly white patrons) were checked on every few minutes. It was clear that we were treated differently based on our race, color and background. To make matters worse, a mandatory gratuity was added to our bill without prior notice or consent. In the past, I’ve tipped well for good service, but being forced to pay a premium for negligent, indifferent treatment is unacceptable. Everyone pays the same price for the menu; everyone should receive the same level of respect. I won't be returning.
