Very cozy and quiet setting. Good for dates and conversation. I sat at the bar and was entertained by the bartenders recently on a Sunday and Monday evening. Well made cocktails along with Ahi Tuna was wonderful. The NY strip was perfect. The New York cheesecake was delightful. A pleasant surprise for this out of town traveler. Good food and good people. Highly recommended.

Always great dinner, dessert, cocktails and super friendly service! 11/16/24- Still delicious food and excellent service, we had no room for dessert this time, but they looked yummy going by. 😁 8/28/25- We've had our anniversary dinner here for the last three years and it never disappoints! Filet was superb and everything else was delicious, including the pistachio gelato! 😋 Great service ad usual too! We tried a new smoked cocktail this year and it was amazing!

We came on holiday and accidentally chose this restaurant for dinner. I want to say that everything was wonderful, the service was top notch, the food was simply divine, the atmosphere was quiet and calm, a very cozy restaurant. I advise everyone to visit and try the signature soup.

This restaurant is a little bit outside of Ithaca so the bustle of the center of town is not here so you can relax. We had a table of seven people and are waitress I apologize for not knowing her name with blonde hair was excellent. She had the entire lower floor in was that are back in call whenever we needed a request. The food choices were wonderful. I took the 30-day wet age and 30-day dry-aged bone-in Cowboy ribeye. Medium rare and it was cooked medium rare. From the sides to the appetizers. Dessert was wonderful in a large cappuccino to top it off. After we left my daughter left her bag, as we realized that we were turning around and the phone rang as we use their toast reservation system so they had my number, and notified me that they had the bag, I said we're pulling back in and she ran out and gave it to us. Wonderful service, as I would say a top tenner.

Absolutely phenomenal food. I had their 22 oz ribeye special which had the perfect crust and was super juicy. The scallops were also cooked to perfection. I also loved their cheesecake topped with strawberry confit. The ambiance is also really nice; I got a seat in front of their fireplace and it was super cozy. The waiters were nice. Solid 10/10

Lovely restaurant with amazing wait staff and quality food. I had the Duck, and my partner had the Scallops. We also tried an appetizer special (fried green tomatoes with shrimp). The food was perfect. It came out timely and was delicious. The cocktails were also very well prepared. The Lemon Drop I had was perfect, and my partner's Cosmopolitan was enjoyed. Lemon Gelato for dessert rounded out a filling meal in a comfortable atmosphere. The pricing is not cheap, but for the quality of the experience it's certainly reasonable. Thanks!

I had a great time coming here! Going on Thursday burger night was a special treat on a night off! I had the charcuterie board to begin which was delightful. Then the burger, which was one the biggest and heartiest I've had in the area! And finally, the waitress recommended I try the Indian pudding for dessert, which was great. Cozy and homey decor, can't wait to go back!

Standard qualifier, I'm a tough rater. Antlers is a very good place to eat, a long-time area establishment. This was our first visit for brunch and we enjoyed our time and food this morning. We started with sharing an excellent bowl of lobster bisque! My wife had eggs Benedict with gluten-free toast. She said it was very good and thought the hollandaise sauce could have been a little tangier. I chose the blueberry waffles with home fries. I added an egg over medium on top of the home fries. The waffles were ok perhaps a bit dry. I'd get them again, only I would order without powdered sugar and I prefer maple syrup. The over medium egg was perfectly prepared! The service and wait staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to visit and enjoy their many offerings.

Over the last decade I've visited Antlers a few times when in the Ithaca area. The atmosphere is really inviting, rustic with a fireplace, and that hasn't changed. The prices and food though, someone there is more about counting beans and less about the fine dining experience it used to be. Let's talk about the Wednesday Prime Rib special - nice photo on the web of a beautifully roasted prime rib roast. That's what one used to get when ordering the special. What I got recently was a slice of meat grayish on the outside, scientifically sous-vide cooked to temperature on the inside, not the beautiful hunk of roasted meat with pink in the center and the outer edges crusted with herbs, sliced off a big roast. There is a huge difference there. Huge. Very unsatisfying. Pricewise, the 9oz queen cut of is now $45! 2020 price $32, 2016 price $15 and it came with bread for the table. Now that was Special as in Wednesday Prime Rib Special. Now you also have to pay $5 if you want bread for the table. Just disappointing. This warm place for special meals, for family gatherings, for special events used to be the top choice, but is, in my opinion, no longer special. Update to response - Thank you Scott, I appreciate that the economics of a restaurant are difficult, and you have priced your menu accordingly. Fair enough, especially in the case of your usually outstanding restaurant. Seriously. I have, prior to my recent visit, always had a great experience there. My sticker shock reaction was mainly in relation to what was on my plate, it looked as if someone had sous vided a rib steak. And what I was expecting was juicy, cooked to perfection, rib roast. Which were my prior experiences. It was a let down. I can't explain why, maybe we came too early and the roast wasn't finished yet. Whatever the reason it was a disappointment for me. As for bread for the table, little classy details set some restaurants above others, and it was a dissapointnent that it didn't just magically appear with a friendly smile like in times past. Otherwise, thank you for the many delicious meals I have enjoyed at Antlers over the years. It stands (usually) as some of the best food I have eaten in my life.

So we a had a group of 7. Appetizers were excellent but I was a little disappointed in the shrimp etouffie (sp?)... actually didn't really like it but it's what I chose. Wife had the crab stuffed haddock and she wasn't impressed either. We kept our comments to ourselves. We have been to the Antlers before and have never been disappointed...and we will certainly go back. Maybe just bad choices on our part or maybe just a bad night in the kitchen. The waitstaff was outstanding!!!

Nice place where people came in shorts and what not. Salmon appetizer was really good. Filet was supposed to be medium with pink on middle and was way overcooked. Garlic mash was bland. Green beans good. Waitress Katie was nice but asked us if we were doing great and we said fine. Then she went on her way.

We drove 45 min to meet some friends there for supper. Our waiter was absolutely terrible. Read the special for the night and said it was either $35 or $36. Brought us 3 waters when there was 4 of us. We ordered drinks and some drinks took 30 min to get. Asked our server what the seasonal vegetables were and he said asparagus. I don't like asparagus so I changed my order to Scallops Au Gratin. Our reservations were early so they weren't real busy at that time. We waited 45 min for our meal while 2 other tables had received there meal before we did and they had some of the same food we we're getting and ordered after us. We finally asked for some bread and to our unknown didn't know we had to pay for it. Received our bread and then our meals came right out. All meals had green beans for there seasonal vegetables. Had I known that I wouldn't have switched my meal as I like green beans. My wife and my scallops were so over cooked they were rubbery with no flavor. The couple we went with said there meals were ok at best but no flavor as well. We decided to skip dessert as I just wanted to get out of there. We split the bill in two and our waiter brings back two separate checks with only one pen. Usually we go there 3-4 times a year but I won't be going back there anytime soon and maybe never. Not sure what has changed but to spend that type of money for losey service and food we can find someplace else.

I gave it 2 stars and that is being nice. Such a disappointment. It was our first time here. My husband picked out this restaurant to celebrate his birthday. I made a reservation with a special note for “birthday dessert.” Upon arrival the hostess sweetly greeted us and wished my husband a happy birthday. Although the server and the individual she was training were super nice, the service fell short. They were not attentive. We ordered our drinks, the bread basket and our dinner. The drinks were good, but we proceeded to wait 48 minutes and the bread never came. I tried to make eye contact with our server, but she was too busy rushing around. When our dinner came, there was no bread…they forgot it. Sadly the highlight of our dinner was the French fries! The best part was the company! To top it off, the espresso machine was broken and when the dessert we ordered was dropped off, no candle and not even a happy birthday.

I am dumbfounded that I spent over 100 dollars for cold dinner and a below enjoyable experience! The place has a nice look and vibe to it, quite compact too. At first the waiter sat us at a table where I couldn’t even sit on the one side cause the person behind me was large and was using the whole gap between mine and their table. Wouldn’t be able to pull out my chair so my girlfriend and I had to sit next to each other for half of our time there. The water tasted like the bath water I grew up myself with. The bread we got wasn’t baked fully, very doughy and had spots of uncooked dough. The parts that were small and crisp were delicious, bread definitely would try again. The dip had probably too much oil, wasn’t getting any vinaigrette and it wasn’t breaking to be able to get any on my bread. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes which should just be a shrimp appetizer. Tasted no tomato it wasn’t worth spending $15 on. Got 3 pieces of tomato and 3 small pieces of shrimp with an overly amount sauce on top. It tasted like bang bang shrimp so it was good just doing too much for something that is great on its own. For entrees we got the Tuscan tomato pasta with shrimp was was quite good, the pasta was delicious and the sauce was good. The big chunks of sun dried tomatoes were excellent can never go wrong. The shrimp was good, whatever they tried to do on the outside was a miss. Half of it had breading and the other half didn’t and the ones that had the breading on it wasn’t good. It tasted like they tried to fry something under a heat lamp and failed. The other entree we got was the scallop gratin and my scallops were cold and undercooked. It felt I was eating a room temperature imitation crab that had random cornflakes on top of it. My mashed potatoes were cold on top and warm in the middle. NOT EVEN MY GREEN-BEANS WERE COOKED. I’m flabbergasted at the fact this was brought out to our table. Our plates were hot as they can be and our food was nearly straight from the walk in. Thankfully we ordered our entrees when we ordered our appetizers cause we nearly wait 50 minutes for our cold entrees. Have no idea what was happening in the restaurant last night but our waiter was nearly missing the whole night. It was almost empty! I would stay AWAY from this place, upscaled prices for cold food. Not a good dinner at all.
