This place has gone through a lot of changes over the years. But I recently came back to try the jja jung myun (black bean noodles) again and it's still the best I've ever found. The noodles are fresh and delicious! It seems they've added lots of fun new things to their menu as well.

If you like spicy food, this is a great place. I ordered Mala XiangGuo and it had really good flavor and spice.

What a gem! The service was fast and the atmosphere was quite cozy. The Hot Stone Pot Bibimbap was amazing, as well as the Jajangmyeon. The Spicy garlic fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. The portions were very filling, and we felt very welcomed. The staff members were attentive. The server at the restaurant was very kind and stopped to talk about Ithaca and the colleges nearby. We loved the assortment of Korean/Chinese fusion dishes! It felt very homey. It was just what we needed. Will visit next time we stop by! Highly recommend.

I came in from out of town and didn't understand how to pay for parking. The man who waited on us came out with me to help me figure it out and even ran downhill to read my license plate since I didn't know the number. Service was above and beyond! And we enjoyed Duk Guk and pork with tree-ear mushrooms. Very tasty!

I was there with my family. Jam pong noodle and egg wrapped rice were excellent. Other two dishes not bad either. Tasty and unpretentious. Fast and most responsive service. Best place for its price.

Personally I think they have the most delicious food in Ithaca. Good service. And package for to-go order is really nice. I walked for 20 minutes to get home in winter, and the food was still very hot.

The jjajangmyeon was good, but I was full from the naengmyeon, so I only had three bites. I took it home and my mom finished the rest, so I hope to actually have a whole bowl of jjajangmyeon next time.

The price was way too high for what you got. I was supposed to have seafood in my stew, but I didn't see one piece. It was only bits of tofu. The other dish we ordered was very good tasting as well. However, as soon as we left the restaurant, we got sick. Not what we expected due to the other reviews.

The restaurant is small and has an odd shape, too many corners. The staff is friendly, food is OK, but the price is high for what you get. Sadly, it is not worth the price you pay. My wife had the spicy seafood noodle plate, and there was only one large shrimp and one mussel, plus a few calamari rings. This in a large plate of noodles. Hardly a seafood plate. We will not return to this restaurant.

However, the food (tofu soup 순두부, ohsam bulgogi 오삼불고기, gamjatang 감자탕, tangsooyook 탕수육 & side dishes 반찬) are bland and frankly tastes bad 😔 The ddolsotbibimbab 돌솥비빔밥 tastes pretty decent though, so that is my recommendation if you decide to visit. The restaurant itself is small so if you are a group of 5+ it will be crowded to sit together. This is just for your information and did not affect my rating. The atmosphere was ok. They have popular songs on at an appropriate volume so that you can hear each other and can drown out the other tables. The tables and utensils were clean when we arrived. I just wish the food was good at a place that serves food that comes with a price. Would I recommend to a friend? No. Maybe I will give it another try in a few months to see if the food improves. If any improvements are seen I will update this review. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This restaurant does not honor their promises. They have a game where if you hit the timer at 10 seconds they remove one item off the bill. I won it and they refused to honor it. Instead they offered to give me a soda. 😂

Don’t go to this place! Ordered the pork bone soup and the meat tastes VERY UNFRESH. It is not only frozen ( which i know most places use) but also stinky. I can tell they try to use spices to cover it, but as I eat the meat between the bones, which is harder for spices to sink into, there is a strong smell coming out of it. I ended up returning the dish.
