Was here recently. Ordered about 10 ice creams and it took no time at all. Service has definitely improved.

Owners are very friendly and the food is very very good. We ate there several times while we were in mineral Wells. Love their DQ dude.

This store is the only restaurant in Archer City. It is one of the best DQ's I've visited. Their standard is higher than most. They take pride in their product and service.

Always get a hot fudge sundae when I'm traveling and they're great and they help me stay awake but I love them and I always gives me extra hot fudge and extra whip cream when I ask for it

Eating here bright and early on a Saturday morning. Entire place was clean including bathrooms! Cashier was so friendly and my youngest said that she was really nice. Food was fresh and tasted great! We will be back again soon.

The staff at this place displayed professionalism and courtesy above and beyond all expectations. The new lady, Ms. B (Can't remember her name) handled a stressful situation with some really RUDE guests with grace and the best customer service with a smile. The tall gentleman working in the back also helped out with the Guest with the best professionalism I've seen in a fast-paced food restaurant. These employees are an asset to the Dairy Queen name and if they worked in my city would be poached by me or someone else quickly!!!

Kudos to the one worker who mans this store. I stopped by last Thursday and there was only one employee. The inside was closed and you had to go through the drive-through. She took our order and stepped away to make our blizzards.

Dairy Queen is still Dairy Queen! Although I only visit a Dairy Queen every couple of years (mainly because the closest one is in another city), this recent visit gave me an awareness. I've determined that the quality of the food has remained the same (good), there is consistency of brand from location to location, and that noone does soft-serve ice cream better than Dairy Queen.

My D chicken strip basket and the chicken stress were great the only place I had them like that was at a place where it was like $75 for an order of chicken strips some fancy Restaurant I would not go to normally actually the ones that dairy cream were better

When we have to travel to Wichita Falls we spot by here every time. The food is always great. I like the fact that it is quite in there and the employees are always amazing and serve the food fast amd always fresh and hot. I even have to wait a second for the fries to cool off. Thays how good the food is.

Visting the state park stop here for some ice cream. Got the cookie monster blizzard, taste just like cookie and cream blizzard but blue. idk want the blue bring ti thw blizzard but is same price for some blue fun lol

I stop here almost every time I go through mineral wells. Tracy waits on me every time. She's smiling and friendly!! The food is always hot and the fries are cooked and lightly crispy, no wimpy fries here. I just wanted to give a shout out because l eat a lot of fast food on trips to see my mom. It's great to know it is always good and dependable at this location. Thank you!

Stopped in to use the restrooms and get ice cream. Restrooms were clean, staff was friendly and got our Blizzards done quickly and both was mixed to the bottom, which is rare... In all a great 15 min stop and then back on the road. All good DQ...

Very, very busy. We got blizzards, and were promptly served, but those waiting on meals had a pretty long wait, a fact I gleaned from their conversations. Neat restrooms. Lots of flies, but the sliding door at the drive through was opening and closing very quickly, as were the entrance doors, on a very hot day. Would gladly stop again, and would recommend. Friendly staff even though overwhelmed.

Good fast food with a rural style. Have a good choice on menu but are really known for the ice cream treats. Stopped here during trip home for lunch.

Food was good, never tried there Tacos before, not bad, but I think I will get something else next time. Low rating on atmosphere because dining room was closed and had to use drive thru.

Everyone knows DQ soft-serve ice cream and weekend road trips go hand-in-hand. But on this particular weekend morning, I braked at this "Texas Stop Sign" for a large Dr Pepper, but left with a full tummy after ordering a belt-buster of a breakfast burrito chock full of eggs, sausage, bacon, onions, green peppers, potatoes and cheese. The girl who took my order said it was an off-menu specialty. Although service is a tad slow usually (even when you're the only customer), if you order inside the bathrooms are clean and the wall photos tell a great story of DQ's beginnings.

Used the drive thru Friday at lunch they were busy inside. Took about 20 minutes to get food.

You have to stop at a Dairy Queen when you are on a road trip in Texas. Hamburgers were not what I remember growing up but the fries were good. Ice cream was ok.

Taco's were terrible. Steak fingers and chicken stripes were nice and hot .Gravy was delicious. Some of the french fries were old.

Not one of the better DQ's I've been to the burger was sloppy and the fries was cold and over cooked, I'll have to be really hungry to eat here again.

Dairy Queen has great food. Sadly, this one of has the drive-thru open and I could get no food pulling my travel trailer.😥

First..No one to take order. Guy standing in front of us left. Car in drive thru left when no one took their order. Floor was dirty. Bathroom had all the t.p. big rolls on top of the dispenser. Now ..the fish was good, tarter good but 8.00 a basket is pricey.

I went for the soft serve ice cream, which DQ does better than anyone. As usual it was great. But if you are worried about COVID-19 you might want to avoid this place for now. While they have a sign on the door that says masks are required except when seated at a table, the cashier wasn't wearing a mask the whole time I was there.

*** CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS *** 5:30 PM Sunday 08.19.18 they are OUT OF ICE CREAM????? We're talking EVERYTHING. The order of 3 tacos were quite skimpy for $4.99. $1 more than most places and not as filling. The staff was accommodating but they also forgot to grill my jalapenos. ?WELL, MAYBE IT WAS A TOUGH WEEKEND??.

We got the Steak Finger Basket, probably the worst fast food meal I have ever had. We threw most of it away . Got hot fudge Sundae for dessert and it was OK.

The food was terrible! We ordered the 3 street tacos and there wasn't enough meat in them to even call that meat! I don't think that we will ever go back to DQ again! I don't send my food back because I feel that if you didn't do it right the first time it's not going to be right at all! We have eaten all over the USA

They got my order wrong and didn't give me something i ordered. The manager said it wasn't on my order and since i didn't get my receipt i just asked to order my sandwich and she was rude and told me if i didnt pay for it she couldn't give it to me! I told her i never said i wouldn't pay for it. There was no need for her to be so rude and assume i wasnt going to pay. I was really disappointed with the service or lack of service we received!

Worst service ever. Called from 5 miles away with no answer forst 2 tomes, put on hold the 3rd time with lots of banging on background. Fonally I hing up, called back 2 times, busy... Finally got an answer then was told they were put of steak fingers, which is what I wanted. Bad customer relations and service...

Only come here if you have nothing to do for the rest of the day... especially if there are other people eating. It takes a whole hour just to get food! The wait is ridiculous & you better remember to check your to go orders, because they'll forget half your meal!

I wish there was a zero star review option :(( This is by far the worst dairy queen experience that I ever had in my life!! We were on our way to Lubbock TX.., nice family trip from Dallas. All we wanted, is to have some ice-cream on a hot summer day. Believe it or not these people screwed up our whole order! Then we had to wait forever for the replacement! They simply ignored us... wish we have never stopped at this location. AWFUL!!!

Learn to use a drive through window. This is by far the slowest and most inefficient fast food restaurant we have ever been to. The food is good, but the service is terrible.

The cook's idea of scrambled eggs is chopped up fried eggs. Even after I requested that the eggs be whipped first, she still served me what she had already cooked.

Drive thru only. That sucks not everyone can go to the drive thru or wats to eat in there car. Dairy Queen has really gone down hill everywhere.

Next time I will gladly go to sonic and get a correct order or chicken express, both cheaper and get the CORRECT order

This is an embarrasment; For $15 this is what we are serving for chicken strips these days? They are slow n I swear the employees they have working there are complete idiots who have no idea what they're doing nor do they know what to do. Instead they just stand around looking at each other while completely ignoring a line of customers who r either waiting for them to take their order or make their order. It shouldn't take 20 min to get 3 blizzards but it did and they gave me the wrong blizzards at that. This isn't the first time nor was it the second. This happens every time we go in here n if it weren't for the lack of places to go in a small town I would never go here again. In fact that is I'm sure the only reason that this place is still in business.

Stopped for a quick bite - wow, everyone in kitchen must be new...45 min wait and there is only half a dozen people. Wish I would have been told about the wait, If I wanted to waist this much time I would have went to an upscale restaurant.

We took the first bite and our cheeseburgers and they were cold! When we took them back and asked for a refund, they told us they could not issue a refund because their cash register was broken and wouldn’t even open to give us the refund in cash. We asked for the manager and they said she was not there. So, we had to walk out without food and without our refund. This location is in Jacksboro, Texas, the date was 5/8/21 and the time of our order on our ticket was 18:53:01. Whoever manages this Dairy Queen should be embarrassed that it’s being run by 3 teenagers who don’t have a clue of how to operate a restaurant! DO NOT EAT THERE!!!

Just stopped in for a sundae. Ordered a large chocolate sundae without nuts. $4.00 and some change. Was severed a small...I questioned the size...server said it was a large. Right behind him was a poster showing the company standards/photos of the products. Clearly this guy just cheated me out of half my money. Three high school aged employees on duty..no adult manager. NO one was in any type of proper company uniform. Scratch this location from any future visits.

This DQ should not be placed in the fast food category. The only thing that is fast here is the exchange of money from your hand to theirs. Waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes and nobody came on to take my order. Went inside and asked if the drive thru is working and was told it does sometimes. Ordered and took another 23 minutes to get my food to go. There goes my lunch break.

Wow! Traveling from Texas to Oregon, hungry! We stopped in and immediately ran into a large group of people, including a child on a push car stroller. The older woman of the group said, "Welcome to Dairy Queen". Omg, she worked there! She had a green t-shirt on, slouchy, with gray gym shorts! She tells her family to wait, and she is going back and forth to the kitchen. I tried ordering numerous things chicken, but all they could manage to find was one chicken patty. My fella had the hatch burger, and said it was good. The place was dirty! It was 9pm and they were closing at 10. Finishing, I went outside and there was that whole family and the woman hanging out in the parking lot with a row of DQ cups along the bed of the truck. Then, I see the guy that took my order hanging outside too! I wonder.... Who was minding the store?! There were customers inside, alone, I think for lack of anywhere else to eat (the town seems to roll up at 9). I will say this, they have that good crunchy ice!

Food was terrible. Fries were soggy, steak fingers were discolored, nacho cheese tasted like hairspray, found a BUG, and the service was AWFUL. The young blonde didn't listen the first two times I said my order. 4pc Steak fingers, lg fries, lg coke, and jalitos with a side of nacho cheese. My co worker got the 4pc steak fingers, fries, and coke. Yet somehow we paid the exact same price? The young brunette basically tossed our food at us through the window. Will NOT return. Don't recommend.

First of all, it’s way overpriced! Secondly, you might as well as them what they do have then what they don’t. They don’t offer same product as most Dairy Queen’s. If they do offer it then they are out of it most likely. I love Dairy Queen because of the Chapman family years ago but I’ll definitely start driving to Graham for now on and avoiding this one. In all honesty though, Dairy Queen’s aren’t that good unless you are out by Fort Worth it seems.

I’m from out of town and I had to call in my order so I did as soon as I’m telling the old rude lady my order she is rude and she is much older but with a defensive attitude and acts like she’s 12. I will report her to higher authority. I also know she will remember because I had some words with her. The company needs to send her to management or professionalism classes.

Sat at the drive thru speaker for 10 minutes without being recognized. I finally decided to drive up to the window, and was ignored for another 5 minutes, all while the only front-counter person is just looking at me thru the window. Then he finally decides to walk up to the window and asks what I want to order. I ask for a blizzard, and he says they're out of ice cream, and that the manager went out to get some. Overall, I can't recommend this location.

These children need a babysitter so they will do their jobs. They're too busy yelling at friends who come in stoned, and yelling at each other to make our ice cream, and nobody made it. We watched people come in, order actual food that had to be cooked, and get their stuff and leave, before someone finally decided to start on my son's banana split, then walked away halfway thru. Finally someone finished it for us.

The employees acted put out because we came in and they actually had to come up from to wait on us. The dining room chairs were all stacked on tables 4 hours before closing. The ice machine didn't have any ice and they were mad that we asked for ice. These ladies were probably the laziest people I have ever seen. Not a good experience

This Dairy Queen is the worst. I dont know why I keep coming and sitting in this drive thru knowing what happens every single time. I order the 4 piece chicken strips with no drink and they pull me forward and have me sit until they bring it out to me. Does it really take 20 minutes to cook this meal? I've never worked at a DQ so Idk. Especially for a drive thru order that's supposed to be priority. 25 minutes today...

This store is absolutely aweful. The staff is rude and the store is dirty. The service is EXTREMELY slow (close to 30 minutes to get a hamburger.) When the food arrived it was cold. In addition I witnessed the Manager arguing with a customer. I will not return.

Ordered food to go over the phone. Got there and waited 30 minutes in line with only one car ahead of me then get to the window they hand me the food take my card give it back my card and I'm about to drive off when they say I need your card back the card machine is not working it hasn't been all day. They should have let me know that it hasn't been working all day so we didn't have to waste our time waiting for the food when we could have gone somewhere else that the card machine was working

Do NOT EAT HERE!! The food was extremely cold and when I told the cashier to remake it the cook was messing with stuff in the lobby. She then walked to the back and started handling my food. She had no washed her hands or put on gloves. The staff was not nice and proceeded to talk Spanish about me and the other staff which I don't care. But when they gave me my food and I answered in Spanish they did not know what to say or do. I am so disgusted. Even worse couldn't get a refund because the manager was not there. I was forced away with cold food that was prepared by someone that had just stretched her head, playing with her hair, and was fixing her bra in her shirt without washing her hands. If the GM or MGR see this I'd love a refund!

Stopped by for a blizzard Sunday afternoon on our way home. Wife ordered two blizzards and asked for a glass for water. Girl told her she didn’t know the price of the glass. My wife was surprised and questioned the cost. Girl adamant about the price. Wife told her to forget the water. If she hadn’t already ordered the blizzards we wanted we would have left. Charging for a small plastic glass for a drink water is outrageous. Never stop there again.

Ordered thru drive thru 3 tacos requested extra hot sauce; 6 pc Steak finger basket & an order of jalitos crispy - Tacos were soggy & tough, DID NOT GET any hot sauce, not 1 pack & DID NOT GET the order of crispy jalitos AT ALL......but THEY WERE PAID FOR!!!! It is really sad that the employees DO NOT pay enough attention to the orders when they give them to you, since it is the CUSTOMER that is paying their salaries...NO CONDIMENTS, NAPKINS, 1/2 my food. PITIFUL!!! So all in all, this visit to the DQ in Jacksboro SUCKED!!!

Received the order and the fries were old and stale. When I asked the staff to give us fresh fries, the cook in the back took the bag, mumbled something under her breath and threw the bag across the kitchen. The new fries were much better, but overcooked. Lots of attitude. The place is dirty as well.

The womens bathroom was clean...ish. The toilet paper was put on the rail. The prices were outrageous. The communication was little to none. For customers and employees alike. 20 minutes for our food that tasted horrible. The people that were ahead of us only ordered icecream and they had been there 15 minutes prior to us. Absolutely a place to pass up in the evening to save your time, money and life. Not worth it.

Well considering my son's Dr office is there I've stopped here several times in hopes to see improvement. Wanted to go inside but lobby was closed unsure why ,so my little family husband,toddler & infant had to eat in the car. Their speaker box I guess is broken? It's been down since I was pregnant,and my son is now 7months. The staff seems to be friendly for the most part. Went the other day ordered $40.00 worth of food, absolutely no napkins. Definitely can tell they mixed old fries with new fries. My steak fingers were a bit over cooked d (oh well) I ate them anyways and chunked the fries. Also my mint chocolate chip shake only had mint :/ no actual chocolate chips. So wasted that because it just wasn't good. Hopefully if I ever decide go back I'll have better experience,but the few I've had haven't been pleasant so far.

This was the worst Dairy Queen I've been to. The line was really long and the speaker was broken. They were out of a lot of stuff. Then they did not flip our blizzards over and the worst part were the fries. They were old and hard. We ended up throwing them away.

Horrible customer service. All 6 of our orders we nasty EXCEPT the fries! Those were delicious! My chicken tasted like rubber from my salad. Hamburger meat was NOT cooked all the way. There was a man wearing slip on shoes/sandals that was helping out. I am assuming part of management.
