Food astonishing, Fast in and out car hop mobility, great choice all around with eating a good pair of cheeseburgers or a whole cooked family dinner meal.

While Sonics can be hit and miss (quality-wise) depending on location, this is one of the best! Consistently good food.

If you driving thru town this is a good place to make a quick stop for food. It doesn't have a drive thru but they service orders fast.

Sonic is a place where you can order from the menu on this giant sign from your car by speaking into the speaker. You can either pay the waitress or at the menu board with your debit card or credit card. Sonic has a variety to choose from.

Super fast service. Ordered a Cherry limeade and a Crispy fried chicken sandwich. Nobody does cherry limeade better than Sonic ( I do miss the cherries in the bottom though). Surprised at how good the sandwich was. Chicken was crispy and tender topped with fresh lettuce and tomato. Served piping hot! I'll be back!

Fast and friendly served here. Plenty in the menu, clean grounds, and good prices. Worth the visit when looking for a quick bite to eat. Great milkshakes and burgers! Always keep an eye out for deals as they have some at least ever few weeks.

Great customer service, fast delivery and exceptional food which was prepared exactly as I requested. I had special requests that most places ignore such as very crispy bacon. We were here around 9pm on Saturday evening. A time when most places are too busy and ignore my request. So, THANK YOU FOR CARING. Just wish you would take tips from debit/credit cards bcuz we only had cards, so couldnt tip the nice car hop.

Love service on the Appj....so easy to use and you always get deals, half priced drinks. Sometimes I don't always get great service in small communities but it's still worth stopping by for a Cherry Lmeade , Sprite , or a Powerade love extra Sonic ice!!!! I can't eat the food unfortunately 🥺 so I can't give a fair rating!!!

I went to the Sonic in jacksboro and it took them forever to make my food I tried the new buffalo bites no offense but they taste, my tater tots were cold and when I went to take a drink of my Barqs root beer it didn't taste like good to much o2

Burgers were great! We had a new employee ( wish I new her name) took our order and delivered it. She did an awesome job!

Sometime when traveling a road tripping Great Auntie needs a place to pull over, rest a bit, open the doors and catch that afternoon breeze. Now refreshed, nice clean bathroom by the way, with cold brew coffee I am ready to hit the road again. Thank you Sonic in Jacksboro, TX for providing a safe place to refresh. Now I'm going to loafy the Doobie Bros greatest hits and mosey on!!!

Good tots. Dr pepper was balanced wrong so tasted of,carbonated water n not Dr Pepper.

Service is great. Tomatoes were soggy other than that all was good

I drove through and grabbed a couple of snacks. The service was fast and the food was great!

Only issue I ever have is the occasional messup on an order!! They're usually glad to fix it!

Love using the App. Jacksboro sonic does great with app orders. Bowie doesn't do as well with app orders.

Most everything I get here is great. The only complaint I have is the ice smells fishy but I think that because of the Jacksboro City water supply.

Sonic is good for drinks and many foo. Yet, some food is typical fast food quality.

Bathrooms were not very well maintained, although food was good and service was quick

Oct 25th,Pressed button to order, after waiting 10 min, pressed again and was able to place order. Was informed that eggs are recalled, so we ordered other items. 4 stars for delay response to order. McCain had a good attitude and gave us good service.

Easy access food has dropped in quality and some orders are not correct. New drive ins are made to narrow for even 1/2 ton trucks.

] I don't know they must be going through a phase used to have the best cheeseburgers used to compare to Whataburger but I don't know they're just not with it they don't taste near as good as they used to I don't know what's going on

The hot dog was like shoe leather and tots had been sitting waiting to be ordered for a while. Carhop was friendly though.

Sonic is hit-and-miss. It honestly depends on who the manager is at the time. Sometimes food is hot and fresh but others the food is cold and half of it is missing.

If you're going to be open on the 4th of July, then you might want to find people to work that actually want to make tips. We went today & everything was horrible! Drinks were just syrup (no carbonation), the burgers were LITERALLY thrown together (half the lettuce was in the wrapper) & the fries weren't cooked all the way. Usually this sonic is decent, but today it was HORRIBLE!

Food was not very great. Hardly any vegetables on my burger and a ton of mustard. When unwrapped had a picke and mustard on the top. Husband's smash burger had hardly any sauce. Fries abd tots were hot or I would have given a 1 star Not a good experience at all. We only stopped here cause we were passing thru

Two stars because they are friendly. The food is not great and only about half of the screens work. Also, they need a phone booster or something because there is no service to check in on the app.

Ordered double meat cheese burger, no pickles with mustard and onion rings Got a cheese burger with pickles, mustard, mayo, and ketchup and 4 onion rings.

I ordered one thing and they got my order totally wrong! I already was on the highway before I opened it up and saw.

Tried the new Totchos -- made very poorly -- almost no cheese on them at all -- also ordered small order of popcorn chicken - they forgot bbq sauce -- they just need to up their game on sending out better food - of course I was in a hurry -- so I didn't send the food back.

It's a half and half at this sonic. Sometimes you will get perfect service and good food. Other times the teens dont know what they are doing. It's not the best sonic but for the only one around it will have to do. Also they don't make the java chillers.

Every time I go there the food is old and dry, alot of my orders aren't right or are missing things, the carhops are nice tho

In the 8 months I've been going to this location Sonic, order is never right. The Manager ends up apologizing and remaking order. I did the math, they could spend money on training to save allot of money in the long run.

Stopped in after umpiring all day got 3 corn dogs and a medium cherry cream vanilla Dr pepper and left the cream was spoiled glad I didn't get sick

It was ok, food took a while, tots were cold. Breakfast burrito was smaller than usual. And they raised their prices but so did all the other fat food places.

The speaker was broken and the onion rings were a soggy mess.

The service was quick and friendly. But the order was not correct. I have went twice in the last couple of weeks and ordered a burger, got home after eating and became very ill. Meat tasted funny both times, that’s why I didn’t eat all of the burger. The first time, I chalked it up to a possible bug. But, lesson learned, not again! I will skip stopping there!

I ordered on the app & input the condiments I wanted. The food arrived & the car hop read off my receipt as I had ordered it, but there were no condiments in the bag. I pushed the red button and asked for ketchup, ranch, honey mustard and salt. After repeating the word salt into the microphone about six times I thought the lady understood, but sadly no. She sent everything except salt. We asked our car hop if we could get some salt. She said there should be some in the bag. I told her no, there were no condiments or salt in the bag at all. She looked at me for a moment, said okay, then walked off and never came back. Maybe I’m just grumpy because I’m traveling but I feel like I should only have to deal with rudeness, or incompetence, I draw the line at both.

Alot of the screens don't work so you have to go to 2 or 3 different stalls before you can find one that works. When you do the credit/debit card doesn't work! I don't like handing my debit card over to anyone so I have to make sure I have cash if I want to go here. I have been here over a year now and nothing has been done about it. Many of the stalls have been hit by cars and not replaced at all in over a year. Staff is friendly but alot of times the fries and tots are served cold.

Ok what the actual f, first off chicken sandwich is burned, second off ordered a big red with blue coconut added to it and instead got water with blue coconut. Never have been disappointed in this sonic until now

This Sonic pays a tip wage to its employees!! That's right, they get 2.35 an hour and depend on customers to pay them. The owner reaps the benefit. So that .99 drink you buy better be paid with an extra dollar or they dont get paid. This is not the norm in fast food.

This place is going sown hill as im typing this its sad a very busy fastfood place but if it continues like this bad food bad drinks then it wont be as busy as it was before

Everything me thinks go to this sonic no matter the time or how busy or slow it is the tots are never hot they are barely lukewarm. The burger this time was at least warm and the fountain drinks are not fit to drink they smell and taste rusty.

Couldn't hear person on speaker but you could hear the loud person talking next to him... didn't know who was talking to who... food tasted like the grease hadn't been changed in months.. over all experience sucked.

Carhop told us the garlic butter bacon burger did not come with onion after asking for no onion. It had onions on it when we got it. Wait was longer than should've been. They were all laughing and joking when we ordered. My husband's ultimate breakfast burrito didn't have any cheese on it.

Waited, waited, waited for button to be answered. This has to be the slowest Sonic to answer and take an order that I have ever been to. Management needs to get a handle on this. And there were only a couple of customers there. Ridiculous

There were maybe 5 cars here when I pulled in. I ordered a kids meal cheese burger tots and a drink. It took it has been 4 minutes since the screen said Vincent was on his way and 8 minutes since I realized it was taking too long and still no food. I have already paid and gave a tip! This is ridiculous. 23 minutes and I asked for my money back . There is no reason for this.

I ordered a large raspberry sweet tea this morning with my junior sausage burrito before starting my shift at work, well I i went to go refill my cup with soda and while pouring my ice out, I found hairs in my cup. This is absolutely disgusting knowing I drank a full large drink without looking into my cup.

They did not get my order correct then got an attitude when it needed to be replaced with the correct food

Med Tator tots with cheese is $4.49 ,a med tator with cheese and Chilli is the same price what a rip off when you can get a med tutor tot for $2.49 they charge you $2.00 for a single piece of processed cheese will definitely not be eating at sonic again

Sonic chain has deteriorated to the point that I will not eat at one. I did not patronize this establishment! I used to like Sonic years ago. It seems as though they're hiring anyone and just allowing them to figure it all out. There is no accountability for any of the cleanliness of the food prep areas nor the friers! The food is just awful in that it tasts like burnt and over used grease! The drink dispensers are in need of cleaning....I realize that not each and every establishment is poorly managed and are ran to policies. However, they are far and few in-between!

This is without a doubt the worst sonic I have ever patronized. The order stations Are filthy, I mentioned it to a car hop, there still filthy. Wonder What the inside looks like. Two days in a row I couldn't Even get a response I was ignored, they want you to use the drive through. Don't know if I will ever go back. Whoever Is in charge of this Sonic should take a little pride in the Place .

This is idk how many times now where the food I've gotten was way over cooked to the point of you had to wait 15 minutes to take a bite, the fries were completely bland with not even salt on them. Only thing good was the drink I got, next time I'll just go next door where I can get tasty food that isn't burned and a actual large order of fries and not a medium in a large container

I ordered my food at 10:15 it is now 10:45 and I have been sitting here the whole time. Nothing I ordered should take this long. I’m very disappointed and I will not be returning. This is just a very unprofessional and unpleasant place to come and unfortunately we don’t have any other options this late at night in jacksboro. Honestly yall just need to do better.

Over the years we have always had mediocre service and mediocre food from this particular Sonic but yesterday was probably the worst. First of all we ordered popcorn chicken which says choice of dipping sauce but when we chose gravy which is on the list of dipping sauces all of the sudden that was going to cost $1.09 more. We begrudgingly said okay and for our $1.09 we got a tiny cup that was extremely runny on the top and chunky on the bottom. On to the chicken itself which was so over cooked you felt like you were just eating dried out fried breading. I feel like the only reason this place stays in business is just the sheer lack of other option in Jacksboro

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. There was only 2 cars when I pulled up and I pushed the red order button, the screen acknowledged that the button had been pressed and I waited 15 minutes. No one ever took my order and several cars pulled in 5 minutes after me and they all ordered and left before I finally decided to just leave....

Driving though on our way home my daughter and me decided to stop and get a hamburger. And my daughter takes a big bite of her hamburger and has to stop eating there was something in her hamburger I asked what it was she pulled a twist tie from a hamburger bun pack out of her mouth. Called talk to manager and he was going to give his crew a stern talking to good luck won’t be going back there sted of that talking too why not be more careful in what u serve people thank god she didn’t choke

The food at this Sonic was not up to par. My chicken slider was burned and my partners popcorn chicken was cold and hard. The onion rings were under cooked and stuck together so the batter in between didn't touch the oil. It may have been an off day, but it was out first time at this location and we couldn't eat the food.

All one star, don’t order your meal online unless you like to wait 30 minutes for your “fast food”. Service gets a 3 star because I understand the lack of employees. If you order on the app just add 30 minutes to whatever your expected time is.

I received my drink, took one sip, and immediately wanted to spit it out. It was meant to be a diet dr pepper, but tasted like it was half diet and half regular. It had a horrible aftertaste like chemicals. The evening shift does so much worse than the morning shift and that shows in how bad the food and drinks are. The chicken is usually crunchy instead of nice and soft, the pretzels are skinny and small, the drinks are always messed up, and the French fries just taste different. Do better. I used to love eating here.

Worst sonic I have ever been to. Sat there for 20 minutes after pressing the button multiple times. My boyfriend had gotten out and went to the walk up speaker and patiently waited another 10 minutes and still no one came on. After seeing probably 10 cars come through, order and get their food witching a couple of minutes of pulling in, my boyfriend went to a speaker someone had already been to, they answered, but he still waited on a single grilled cheese (that ended up being burnt) for almost 10 minutes while cars continued to pull in and receive their orders within a couple of minutes. The girl who brought out the food was very very nice, though. That’s the only positive thing about our 45 minute experience.

Whole town of Jacksboro internet service sucked. Was just trying to order drinks online to get half price but they wouldn't honor the price even though their app wasn't working. I'll never go back to that location or the one by Shepherd air force base either. Every time my family tries to go there nobody will ever take our order. They just hang out on their phones and hang out outside. Worst service I've ever experienced. I mean I've had to work fast food before and I didn't like it very much but I still had integrity and tried to do my best helping customers. This new generation of young adults just have no respect for anything anymore. We mostly cook for ourselves at home now. There are a few good restaurants around still but not many that have good service

If I could give this sonic zero stars I would. Every time we use this sonic it is always a 30 min plus wait. Even if you use the app. Also they refuse to answer the call button. We used it twice waiting 5 minutes between each.still never answered. When we do finally get our food on the visits it is cold and drinks watered down as if they have been sitting for the entire 30 min. The only reason we have continued to go is because it is the only “fast food” ha … in the small town at breakfast time! This time I am done.

Worst sonic I’ve been two. Been here twice and both have been terrible. First time didn’t get our order right and didn’t bring straws. I finally had to go inside and get straws myself. Second time I order ahead because I was in a bit of a hurry. Get there when my food was supposed to be ready and check in. See it on the screen and then it disappears. Only can assume that they made it look like it was sent out on their end to make their metrics look good. Waited an additional 7 minutes for my order.

If I could give zero stars I would! Ordered $40 worth of food as I was passing through the city of Jacksboro. My order was messed up to start with! I paid with a credit card and noticed I was over charged but since I was in a hurry I didn’t say anything. We get down the road and my daughter finished her chili cheese coney and cheese tots just to find several black hairs on the bottom! (No telling how many she ate) We called the restaurant and spoke to the manager that refused to give us her name l, refused to tell us corporates or a refund for our order! She told us her credit card machine was broken and she couldn’t she then goes on to tell us she is to busy to deal with this right now and she was there when our food was made and no hair was in it! Your credit card machine wasn’t broken when you overcharged my credit card ma’am! She then firmly said your not getting a refund have a good day and slammed the phone down! We threw all of our food away because we just didn’t know what else could be in it! The manager is worthless and doesn’t care for her customers and was clearly aggervated that we didn’t like hair in our food. Definitely wouldn’t eat there at all!
