If you are in the area you need to come check this place out! Wonderful pizza, great salad bar, very personal service from the owners and a $7.99 lunch buffet. I don't think it gets any better!

We LOVE this place. We found it last year and planned it in to our trip this year. The pizza is amazing and the cupcakes are always changing and the three we've had were to die for. Jen (owner) and all the staff we've met have been super friendly. We also loved coming with the kids and playing on the patio area while waiting for food. We will be back! (In like two days...)

Im new to pizza buffet and I like it! Great veriety and freshly baked pizza is amazing! And you can't beat the price! Salad bar is abundant and veggies are crisp. What not to like? Ill be back for more and BYOB!

The business name truly captures the essence of this quaint establishment, which offers a small number of tables for diners. The salad bar, though small, provided a fresh selection of vegetables and toppings. The Barbeque Brisket pizza was a highlight, with an outstanding blend of BBQ sauce, brisket, bacon, onions, and cheese. Self-serve, refillable fountain drinks are available. However, during my visit, all drinks, including water, were priced at $1 per cup. The staff were very polite and courteous throughout. Despite the small size of the building and the limited number of customers, there was a 15-minute wait time to order. Additionally, the high ceiling created a noticeable echo when people spoke loudly.

Literally one of the best places to eat pizza, salad, pudding, ice cream, all the above. Ro and her staff went above and beyond for us. First time coming here, forever customer leaving. (Excuse the bitten piece of pizza that was me) Pack a cooler and have yourself a great time! Support local! This place is awesome! Thank y’all so, so much! Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent hole in the wall pizza joint, pepperoni was great but the jalapeño popper pizza was stellar. Staff was friendly and the owner was a delight to talk with. We’ll defiantly be back on our next lake outing!

No photos since we ate it all, but everything was great. Had the possom poppers and cheesy bread for appetizers. Family shared a large “plain Jane” cheese pizza. Also ordered a small chicken Alfredo pizza to share. Absolutely delicious. Salad bar was basic but fresh and tasty. Cam was a great server and very friendly. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks!

Great people! Non chain pizza places can be hit or miss, but this one is solid! They are attentive, welcoming, and they run their tails off to keep the buffet stocked and customers taken care of. This is a weekly stop for my family.

Ordered carry out this past Saturday. Excellent pizza!! Maybe the best I’ve ever had. The son was working the register and the mom was making the pizza. I highly recommend this to anyone.

There was a great variety of pizzas, a fresh and tasty salad bar, and an amazing dessert selection. Highlights included the cinnamon dessert pizza, donuts, banana pudding, and even a trendy twist — strawberry Dubai chocolate pudding. Everything was delicious! We loved it so much that we came back the next morning for iced coffees and donuts. As self-proclaimed coffee addicts, my friend from the Metroplex and I both agreed — this was the best iced coffee we’ve had, hands down. The donuts were absolutely beautiful (almost too pretty to eat), and just as tasty as they looked. We’re already planning a return trip to try their biscuits and gravy for breakfast! The owner is one of the sweetest, most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet. She even told us they occasionally serve chicken and dumplings — and if they’re anything like the rest of the menu, we know they’ll be incredible. Highly, HIGHLY recommend! 🙌

The sausage crumbles had a great texture and aren’t a rich, greasy topping. The sausage crumbles were definitely high quality. The pepperonis were huge, thin, and tasty. The mushrooms were fresh cut! The pizza dough is freshly pressed from raw dough and flattened for every pizza, upon ordering. I was very impressed by the pizza and the cleanliness of the restaurant. We ate here 4 times during our stay! I would definitely check out their lunch buffet that features a full pizza bar, dessert pizza, and salad bar. Our kids had an absolute blast too! There are tons of fun activities to keep them entertained while we waited for our food (which didn’t take long at all). It made the whole dining experience relaxing and enjoyable for the whole family. If you're anywhere near Possum Kingdom, do yourself a favor and stop by The Pizza Shack. It’s more than just a meal — it’s an experience. We’ll definitely be back! 🍕🎉
