Amazing customer service! Since it’s during covid 19 times, we have 11 people and they accommodated everyone and put about 4 tables together for us so we can all sit together comfortably. The owner, Natalia was rlly kind and whenever we come here she caters to all of our needs. Food is great and i like the vibes. Will be coming here again.

Serving staff, well I am fortunate enough to be served each time I come with wife, friends and family by the same friendly and caring staff members. I will only mention a few names, but all of them are equally impressive. Andrés Zapata, Andrés Arias and Tatiana are our favorites, but the other girls and guys are equally friendly and helpful, kudos to them too. This place is cozy and welcoming. I wish that I had taken a photo of the beautiful place and the gorgeous big frame, that said LOVE with pink roses all over. I have never been to a more cozier place. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! I had the sancocho, a salad with avocado and water and my daughter in law had rice with beans and chicken. YOU MUST GO AND TRY, YOU'LL LOVE IT!

The food and service was excellent. I had the Entraña El Pastor which was the skirt steak with Rice and yuca fries. As appetizers I had the beef and chicken Empanadas and the tostones with shrimp and guacamole. To finish everything off, I had the Tres Leche cake which was absolutely delicious.

We had tostones with guacamole and chicharon as an appetizer (serves 4) crunchy to a perfection. As entrees we had the shrimp crepe and the fettuccine carbonara cooked to perfection. We had dinner at Barriles late last night and the experience was outstanding. We were greeted by our server right away. We only had one phone available and he immediately grabbed menus for us. We ordered the Bandeja Tipica (shared) and the kids Alfredo Pasta, along with La Herradura 🍸. . My 10 y.o daughter kept saying how creamy and delicious her Alfredo Pasta was. The grilled meat in the bandeja was full of flavor and cooked to perfection, and the Chicharron 🤤 WOW! My 🍸was the perfect blend of passion fruit and tequila (unlike other places that fill you up with mixes). The service was splendid and the food full of flavor. Service was definitely a plus when the manager personally greeted us and made sure everything was well with our order/meal. Overall I definitely recommend this place (portions are big too). Wish I took more (better) pics. If we come back to the City, this will be our first stop!

My family and I absolutely love going to Barriles! The service is consistently amazing, and the food and cocktails never disappoint. On our last visit with my two aunts and cousin, we ended up staying for about three hours because we were having such a great time. Servers Juan David, Andres, Juan Pablo, and the rest of the team went above and beyond, even making us some special shots and cocktails that were absolutely delicious. Their attention to detail and friendly attitude made the experience unforgettable. We were also impressed by the manager, who ensured everything was perfect throughout our visit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff always makes us feel at home. It’s one of our favorite spots, and we can’t wait to go back!

To cap off our Amazing day trip to NY. We stopped at @barriles_sportsbar on the way back to the airport and man what an experience we had!! This place was amazing! The atmosphere was fun (specially if’ it’s your birthday), the food tasted out of this world, I go to a lot of Colombian spots but this was definitely one of the best spots. Andres Arias was our server and he brought a great ambient to ask about dishes and requesting anything we needed. Music was awesome too!

We had a party of 5 visit Barriles for the first time on Sunday. To say the ambiance, food, and service was superb, can be an understatement. Maria, our waitress and Jenny the manager took great care of us. We ordered plenty of appetizers, mocktails and cocktails, and the food came out delicious and quickly. The drinks were also 5 star. Our highlights are, the lychee mocktail, campo de frecas gin cocktail, the chicken empanadas, tostones con guacamole and crepe dessert. We can't wait to go back and experience this wonderful restaurant all over again! Thank you!

A super special thank you to all the Barriles staff, especially to the bartender Juan Felipe who did an excellent job yesterday when we came from a race in Flushing Meadows Corona park. He had the great ability to serve three tables simultaneously and provide us with an A+ service. Barriles is a staple in the Jackson Heights community. One of the best Colombian restaurants in the area. Come here with friends and family on the regular. My go-to is their delicious Bandeja Tipica. The drink selection is varied and exceptional. The margaritas are perfectly balanced and are a must try. Everyone that works here is attentive and kind. A true sports bar/ restaurant that will show any sport you’re interested in (especially soccer). Perfect even for a date or a family night out.

Barriles is and has been one of the best Colombian restaurants I've ever tried. Five months ago, I ordered a Barriles corn cake with pork rind, sweet plantain, and guacamole. I was expecting an arepa, but I ended up receiving several pieces. I loved the combination of flavors. The service was excellent, incredibly fast despite how busy the place was that day. They also offer a wide variety of dishes like soups, salads, pasta, and chef's recommendations such as seafood, salmon, and grilled meat. As a Colombian, I LOVED the dishes from my country and highly recommend this place.

Last night we visited Barriles a Colombian Restaurant in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York. We were greeted by the nicest staff from the moment we walked in. We ordered the specialty Barriles Sangria and we have to say that this Sangria was to die for, it really was the best Sangria we ever tasted. The appetizer and our main course were so delicious and the desserts were exceptionally outstanding. The atmosphere throughout Barilles is so warm and welcoming and the decor is so beautifully decorated with so many personalized touches, this is the reason Barilles Restaurant is so very different from others. We enjoyed the evening so much and want to thank everyone at Barriles for such a lovely experience.

As a frequent visitor of Pio Pio, I had no idea of this hidden gem a few minutes away. On the outside, it looked like a regular sports bar, but when you walk in, it was much homier and family friendly than I expected. The place was decorated for the 2024 Olympics AND had these gorgeous floral details around the ceiling. I wasn’t expecting it to be as big as it was too, with enough room at the bars and tables to grab a quick drink and also if you wanted to eat. But thank God my friend said to get a table because we ordered so many amazing things, and I’m not sure how it would’ve fit at the bar. Firstly, every single thing came out super fresh and fast, and piping hot. You can tell all of the tostones, the cassava fries, and the arepas were freshly fried. Nothing was soggy and everything hot! Secondly, can we just talk about this skirt steak was PERFECT with the chimichurri sauce? The portions were huge but understand that I took my leftovers home happily WITH the sauces 😏 I also loved the garlic sauce with the tostones, as I have a soft spot for creamy garlic sauces 🥹 We ordered a few more things because we’re greedy, and everything was a hit. Even the drinks, the Sangarita was delicious and strong. Please drink at your own risk haha. The menu was overwhelming, but it’s nice that everything is in English and Spanish. There’s something for EVERYONE, and I appreciate that especially since my friend is vegetarian. All in all, a very solid spot. I will go back. Food and service and ambiance were all hits, and the food was also decently priced. A great place to bring your family but also if you wanted to watch a game and drink beers with your friends too!

Lots of people come here for birthdays apparently bcuz 4 times they played the birthday song and sang and clapped. Live music began performing just as we were wrapping up our meal. And what a meal! Looks clean, organized, many food variety, big portions, tasty, big location, street parking, Spanish environment. Expensive tho depending on what you order.

We wandered by this place on 37th Ave and stopped for some drinks and a snack. Probably not the specialty of the place, but we got a cheese and veggie quesadilla, and a salad with shrimp and avocado, both were OK but nothing to write home about. The service was good, as was the spot outside.

Came to this place for two drinks. Must be good to watch soccer games. Lots of TV's around the walls. The bartender did take a bit long after I ordered one beer (maybe she forgot) another bartender asked me for my order again but this won't stop me from passing by again.

This place is for the sports fan to watch a game of football, baseball etc. The drinks and food in general are on the pricier side especially considering the location. My tab ended up being 40$ for 4 drinks. Two were beers in this tab. The staff was nice and courteous. Check it out if in that area, but be prepared to spend a bit extra.

We got some half price margaritas and they were fantastic. We ordered empanadas which were awesome and a larger plate that we shared which consisted of a skirt steak rice yuka and chicken. The skirt steak was excellent, not too tough with a great taste. The chicken was just okay. I would have preferred a lot more rice and more yuka. I can never understand why these restaurants skimp on the cheapest parts of the meal. Overall I would say the meal was okay. I would go back definitely for the half price drinks and happy hour. I been wanted to eat in this place for a really long time since most of my friends recommend it. I order the skirt Al comes with fried cassavas, rice, pico de gallo and salad, well unfortunately I never received the pico de gallo or the salad and my steak had cuts all over I asked the waiter and he said that he didn’t know the reason why it was cut that way. So he offer me a second to replace it but it was the same thing with cuts all over, it look like the chefs wasn’t sure if it was cook or the person that cooked it didn’t know how to cook it. I really really want to love Barriles - I have been there in the past to watch Colombian soccer games and the vibes are great even if the food/drinks are nothing special. That being said, they really need to get organized with their reservation process because my recent experience trying to reserve for the Copa America final has been a nightmare. It seems like they come up with a new reservation process every time Colombia is playing and very few of the employees understand how it works. I was originally told they do not take reservations until the day after the previous game, so I called first thing this morning when they opened at 11 am to reserve for the final. I was repeatedly told to call back later because the manager wasn't in yet. They also suggested I come in in person (not sure why this is different than calling), but I live 1.5 hours away so that was not an option. I called 5 times *during my workday* trying to reserve and most recently when I called I was told that they had already sold out at 11! What is going on?? This is terrible customer service. If your reservations are going to be in such high demand you need to be more organized and transparent about the process. This will no longer be my go-to bar for watching Colombian soccer games.

The decor is cute and the food is not so bad, but the bar service is awful!!!!!! It wasn’t even a full bar today and we were ignored by the bartender multiple times . At first she was attentive but after she took our food and drinks order, it was the last time she waited on us! We called on her 4 times! Even tried to wave at her to seek her attention since the restaurant can be really loud at times but nothing! All we wanted for about 30 mins was for ketchup for our fries!! But she would look straight at us and ignored us!! Once our drinks were finished she didn’t even approach us or came near us to ask if we wanted another round. She would look at us and ignore us completely! Really terrible services, at that point we had to seek for her attention to ask for the check because even after she clearly saw we were done with everything she didn’t approach us, we had to ask for the check so we could leave since it we woulda waited for her , we probably would still be ignored and waiting. I wish it was a better vibe for our first time here . This will be my first and last time.

I was there last night, 09/06/2024. we requested a table for 3 the host told us there there was a wait time we agreed to have a drink at the bar while we waited for the table. As we waited one of the waiters tried to give us a table that was not subduable for us we told her we would wait for a better table; that we had no problem waiting. She got mad and got her manager the manager came to "speak with us" however this was her just screaming at us that it was a busy night because of the game and that they couldn't accommodate a table for us, she never let us speak and when we tried to she just got lauder. Eventually we got a table but every time the host or manager passed by they just kept giving us dirty looks making our meal uncomfortable. I hope that they can take this review into consideration and better their service because food, drinks and atmosphere were great.

I came here twice and the last time I went there on Friday 6/21/24 I had the worst experience. Not only did I have a burger that broke apart on me but the staff were extremely rude. The hostess was very condescending when I asked for something. In addition, the waiter told me a boldfaced lie that burgers are to be eaten like that all demolished and broken apart. They were very condescending and did not even try to apologize one time.

I use to love this place, last time it was a complete disappointment, the server was so rude and mean. We were sat near the door it was really cold because the host had the door open so we asked to move a little away from the the doors. Food was great but service was terrible.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have a good experience there today. I was ignored for 20 minutes by the waiter who made eye contact and saw me trying to get someone to take my order. The tables around me that came after me actually were served and helped quicker and were tended to more. I will not be back. The only good thing, is the female waitress that might be the owner or manager, who I kindly asked to take my order and she did.

The food was amazing. The service and the people very welcoming. I definitely recommend this place

Our waitress was HORRIBLE. She messed up my passion 😪 fruit drink. Expresso Martini was disgusting pure alcohol 🍸. Then, served us what we did not order 😑 tried adding it to the bill without any apologies. I requested the manager to intervene.

I came to eat here with a couple of friends and to be honest is one of my favorite place to go to! So today we came and when we where walking out to smoke a cigarette outside mind you my friend is still in the table this lady comes up to me like if I was in Walmart stealing talking on the walkie talkie like if she was a police officer and grabbing us crazy super embarrassing never again!

Order another kind of food, but don't order cazuela. I was disappointed with the Cazuela. I had been here over five years ago, and the cazuela was the best. I returned again with some friends, and this time the cazuela was terrible in every way. The color and flavor were very different, very watery, very bland, mixed with the soupy bits. The oysters and mussels had lumps of sand in them. I couldn't eat it. I recommend they remove the casserole from the menu. The other food is delicious, but not cazuela
